Timex NOOO-J-RS — Poor Make and Bad Service , Spending life in Service center.

To Follow up this Issue,

Mr. Venkat from Timex Service Station had given a quick turnaround. By fixing one problem leaving major one behind.
• But his team has failed in fixing the problem.
o Watch was submitted First time on 30th November 2010.
o Again the Moisture or Water took place in the case after the two hours again I called him back and said . He suggested me to drop watch again.
o As it was gift by my fiancé before marriage I got to leave for marriage for a week and submitted the again on watch 8th December 2010. Which is a week time.

Imagine Bought it on 12th October2010, and on 10th of November 2010, Battery DIED, went to fix it on 26th November 2010., went to Service on 30th November got it on 3rd December Same problem raised, couldn’t use for wedding and submitted it again on 8th December 2010. No response till date.

WOULD ANYONE WILL BE INTERESTED TO WEAR A WATCH with such problems………………

I need my watch to be replaced and don’t want to listen any stories from TIMEX saying problem has been fixed for my current watch. I don’t mind leaving watch forever in service center. But this kind of things would get a negative vibe in corporate and customers mind.


Please repay my money or allow me to take a new watch……in the similar price band… I repent spending on timex……….

Hi Timex,

I got watch Dated: 11th October 2010, from Hyderabad Central, Retrograde-NOOO-J-RS, from November second week i.e.: 14th November 2010, it started giving problem.
• Battery was down, when I reach Service center 26th November 2010 (Khaleel & Co Abids Road, Hyd) they said battery is over, and I need to pay 75/- for new battery and installation, as the company doesn’t give any guarantee for the Battery. I paid them Bill no: 63, dated 26th Nov 2010. (I can send the scanned copy if you needed)
• From 28th Sunday onwards the clock glass has water and hour’s needle and date needle are not working accordingly.


I had a very good opinion on TIMEX and took this watch, but somehow I was lost in fighting, I took this watch by spending rs 4000/-.

Please help me in solving my problem.
