[Resolved] Titan Watches — BATTERY CHANGE WITH ABNORMAL SERVICE CHARGES WITHOUT ANY SERVICE | |||
DEAR SIR, PLEASE FIND THE ATTACHMENT of the bill given from your service centre. I HAD GIVEN MY TITAN REGALIA WATCH TO THE SERVICE CENTRE FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT TODAY. BUT THEY CHARGED BILL FOR Rs.78/- (inclusive of Rs.8/- as tax.)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM VERY MUCH SURPRICED THAT TO SAW THE BILL, THE BATTERY COST IS Rs.35/-, BUT SERVICE CHARGES ARE Rs.35/- WITH OUT SERVICEING ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT EVEN THE REPRESENTIVES ARE NOT TELL BEFORE REPLCING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY NOT EVEN CLARIFINING MY DOUBTS REGARDING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - VERY WORST CUSTOMER RELATION IN THIS SERVICE CENTRE. I AM VER MUCH SUPRRISED LIKE 'TITAN'' IS DOING LIKE THIS.??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - IT'S REDICULACE!!!!!! Today I also met with same incident. I got my battery replaced at Aundh, Pune at 100 Rs. I was really shocked. If you are charging this much for a battery replacement, you should first clear it with the customer. I have never done a battery replacement beyond 35 Rs/. The battery cost used to be 30 and they took 5 Rs/. extra for the servicing. But this is really embarrassing. Please do something.

Today i gave my Titan watch for Battery change to Taratala(kolkata West-Bengal) Titan World service centre, they charged me 356-/
battery charge-56Rs Service charge-150rs. & 150rs as SUB charge.
i don't know why this people is doing all this, please look into the matter seriously,

I am an Indian in Canada and a watch collector. I have almost every top end watches INCLUDING Titan. I have all Titan Edges. The problem I face being overseas is that whenever I need to replace a battery, I do not know as to which number/model battery does it take? Can you kindly help please. I have to change battery for 2 Titan Raga and one Xylus. Since service charges and GST is heavy for changing battery. Let me know, whether Titan charge service charges separately for all watches or I have to pay only one service charge for 3 watches.

I had the same experience. Taken my 4 watches to Titan showroom Anand, Gujarat.
Among those 1 was Titan, 1 was fossil n 2 were sheen.. for Titan watch they charged 251 for battery replacement n for other 3 they charged 380 rs each.. I ended up giving 1391 rupees for 4 batteries n got bill for battery of Titan watch only.. it's just too much..
