Dear croma,
I have purchased a Croma Washing machine front loading on 01/01/2014 from Infiniti Retail Trading as Croma, A-104, Pusa Road, New Delhi for Rs, 20290/-.This is still under the guarantee period of 2 years.
On 13th July, 2015, when we switched on the machine it did not start. We called the Croma Customer care number and told them about the problem. On 14th July, the technician came and told us there is some problem in the front control panel and removed it and took it away saying that it need repairs. On 15th July I got a message that order shall be delayed due to unavailability of required spare part and also told me bear with them.
Today is 22nd July and 10 days have elapsed since I first made the complaint. I made so many calls to customer care and I was always told by them that it would be sorted hours in 24 hours. So many 24 hours have passed, but I am not getting any firm reply from them. Meanwhile the technician returned the control panel on last Friday at the Society Gate and told the Security Guard they would come on Monday, He did not inform me about this. Today is Thursday. I spoke to one supervisor on 22nd July and he promised sort out everything by 3 pm yesterday and he did not speak to me later. But conveyed through somebody that he would give a reply by 12 pm and not bothered to call back since then.
My question to Croma is if you cannot give after sales service even during guarantee period why are you selling such faulty machines. You should keep spares for use whenever it is required. In this age of fast services including courier services why the long delay.
You people have kept in the dark all through. I am greatly inconvenienced by the delay on the part of the Company. I may ask the company what the is use of a washing machine which is remaining unutilized.
If do not get a reply in next 24 hours, I have no option other way other than going to consumer court for damages.
