I purchased a Dell laptop(Inspiron 5490) in October 2019 along with additional 2 years warranty.

On 4th September, the display of the laptop suddenly stopped working. I tried to complain to the Dell as I though that it is under warranty. But the dell website said that this laptop isn't under warranty. I complained to dell social media support about this. Then they asked for original invoice copy of the purchase. Thankfully they update the warranty information in 2 days and fixed the issue.

Now, coming to actual problem. My problem is successfully registered and they created a dispatch ticket. The dispatch was supposed to happen on 10th of September. But nobody came. I contacted dell support, they said that they have contacted the service provider and they will get be to me as soon as they get any response.

The amazing thing is that it has been almost a month since then, and I am contacting them daily and they give me same reply that they are waiting for the reply of service provider. I wonder even they use pigeon for their internal communication, it won't take much time. Sometimes time to time, they say that they have escalated the case for my satisfaction.

Can someone suggest that what should be my next step. I am on the verge of loosing the job due to this.

      I ordered one laptop on dell - 5410 through dell official website, but the corona pandemic reason they said is not able to deliver this laptop. so the dell india to cancel my order on 04-Oct-2020

      My Question you are not able to deliver this product why u active in website.

      I paid money with in a second to my account to Dell india, but still i did not get any confirmation related refund status. When i will refund because i want to buy new laptop, i want to do WFH otherwise my salary will be received from Dell india.

Please understand my situation, i am waiting for my offer i want to buy laptop immediately, once i got the money i will buy laptop some other websites.       My order is cancelled on 5th October, you said 5 to 7 business days i will get my refund money in my account. Today is 14th October 2020, already gone in 8 business days. Still i am not get my refund.

      What happend yours side, I asked my money only. I am not able to wait more days.
      Yous commitment already gone today is going on 8th Business Day.
      In future I never order in dell, don't worry pl refund my money immediately.

      Still i am not get my refund, i order laptop dell at 4th October, but they cancelled my laptop on 5th October, today 16th October, still i am not get my refund money in my account.

      Worst organization Dell India Bengaluru. They are using our money in dell translations.

      Dont but dell laptop on online, if you want buy direct stores, Why i am say that dell dont have laptop but they took orders after that they cancelled our orders and they took our money in dell transaction on one month.
      We did not get our money refund, they are using one month next month only we willl get. dont buy laptop on dell online store dell official website.

        Myself, B S Nabar, visited Dell India website in March 2020 and shortlisted XPS 15 7590 Notebook for my Son. At that time there was 4 items on offer with the purchase as below:
        1) Dell laptop backpack, 2) Sennheiser HD blue tooth headphones, 3)16 GB pen drive and 4) Wireless Optical Mouse. I located a DELL showroom near me at Kharghar Navi Mumbai Maharashtra. My wife and son went to the showroom and purchased the above laptop for Rs.165000/- as per price mentioned on the Dell site . At the time of purchase as there was partial lock down the items on offer were not available and the Dell rep named Ganesh assured us that we will get the items on offer once the lock down is over. As Dell is such a reputed company we trusted him.At that time we even asked him as the offered items are not available can he give us a printer of the same cost instead. He expressed his inability and declined and said that he can only give items mentioned on the site. After two months of opening of the lock down and much deliberation and 3 visits to the shop, we were finally given the offered items, however instead of Senneheiser HD Blue tooth headphones were given some cheap INTEX wired headphones.
        Today Ganesh wasn`t present in the shop and some Mohammed kadri was present. when I contacted Ganesh over the phone he displayed hostility and went back on his words and said that he is doing me a favour by giving the items. Request DELL to look into this matter and resolve this ASAP. Such a treatment towards customers is not expected from a reputed company like Dell. Also Ganesh should be taken to task for misbehaving with a customer.

But my windows was pirated from the starting when i have purchased my laptop and working fine before the replacement of motherboard that was changed by the company itself

                My name is tejas band. On september 9, 2020 i placed an online order of a dell "new vostro 15 3590" laptop from the official dell website. After that i got an order confirmation on my registered e-mail with an "internet receipt number" (Irn) with the help of which i can check my order status. Since then, i am regularly checking my order status and everytime it displays order "not yet assigned" message. On september 15, 2020, i replied back to the order confirmation e-mail to either assign and process or cancel my order because i was unable to cancel my order but sadly i got no response as of now. Its been over a week now and yet my order has not been processed which has got me a little upset and frustrated with the service. I have also approached my bank and submitted an application to stop the payment associated with this transaction as i have submitted my debit card details while placing the order. Also, my calls to the customer care are not been answered as i have dialled multiple times.
                Long story short, i just want to cancel my order and get rid of it.
                They take about 2 week to update the order details. Did you get your order?

                      Problem statement:
                      Battery& Adaptor is not working hence laptop frequently not in operational condition ( Product – Latitude 5490 Service Tag JWNDRQ2 under warranty)
                      Concern: Still problem not resolved ! even Dell India is not determine KEY support requirements, and DEPLOY requirements to me & in this complaint what PROCESSES involved in CUSTOMER support mechanism has to be review once again.
                      HOW do Dell India resolve complaints promptly and EFFECTIVELY?
                      HOW does Dell India Indian customer complaints management team enable to recover CUSTOMERS’ confidence, enhance satisfaction and ENGAGEMENT, and avoid similar complaints in the future?
                      Sorry to share inform all that Mr Prashant Mishra, Dell EMC Pro-Support – Client & Enterprise - APJ - India
                      has lack of knowledge about the actionable feedback process from CUSTOMERS on the CUSTOMER support, and transactions, technical support, relationship of Potential customer !!

                        Laptop purchased on 24/07/2020 through dell.in official website.
                        Laptop received on 29/07/2020, 7 p. M via blue dart services
                        Defective laptop received with light leakage on top left corner of the screen which is visible even in daylight. Images of the defective model attached herewith.
                        Laptop complaint filed with dell india on 30/07/2020. Dell company did not agree for a full replacement or a refund.
                        Dell company policy states that a product purchased via its official website is eligible for a full refund within 15 days from the date of delivery. Policy document attached herewith this complaint.
                        After multiple calls to the customer care and email to the service team. The company did not agree for a replacement and refund.
                        On 06/08/2020, after much complaints, the company agreed for a full unit replacement.
                        No communication after that either over emails or calls. Did not receive a follow-up either. Customer care did not take calls or there were call drops.
                        Email from dell on 11/08/2020: the company asked for shipping details for replacement. It was stated that the replacement time is 40 days as would be counted from 06/08/2020.
                        No communication after that with the company again and no follow-up either.
                        On 24/08/2020: received an email from the company stating they do not have the same model available and hence, would like to offer a refund. I agreed to the same on 24/08/2020.
                        There has been no follow-up after that.

                        As of date: 12/09/2020 (35 days since the defective laptop has been delivered)
                        1) the defective piece/laptop has not been picked up by the company, with no information about a pick-up date or time either.
                        2) no details about the refund have been stated nor a deadline about when the refund would be made.
                        3) poor response from customer care with either the executives been clueless about the solutions or the multiple call drops with no call backs from the company.

                              I have booked an onsite devices on August 19 . There was no progress in the work. Part which I should get in 4 days I didn't get it after 14 days . Now when I contacted them they are saying it will take a week more to complete my request

                                I have purchase a laptop and this product is within warranty period but hard device not working try to cal and chat with dell helpline number no body help me and 2 time call conecte and disconecte so please help with that and laptop service tag number ds128l2 laptop 3576 i wait for proper resolution because i call to my nearest service centre but service centre inform call to helpline til october shop close

                                wrong warranty update dellside i already send invoice but purchse time give me a offer for month2021 may 21 till warranty period but today said this month last expiry date because asper invoice is cheetad me kindly check this matter first dell side warranty u people ask to dell

                                  I ordered a dell vostro notebook from their site on 9th july so that i can work fluently during this wfh scenario. They mentioned about delivering it by 23rd july and around 18th july the order status changed to shipped.
                                  After around a week i mailed them again regarding the tracking id of the shipment as the delivery date was already passed, i was not getting any response on mail or on call.

                                  On raising multiple requests in their site, i got contacted by rajnath p stating that he will be i touch with me regarding my order till it is delivered and that the order is going to be delivered by 10th august. Again i waited for 10th august but meanwhile i did not receive any tracking id from their side. I kept on sending mails over mails and raised many requests in their website but neither did they respond but also closed my raised tickets mentioning as completed. I finally got a response last week stating that it is with the logistics team and it is going to be shipped. Again a week has passed with multiple follow ups and no response or tracking id from there side. I am planning to go to them legally but it is again going to cost me in all the way possible be it money or time. It is almost two months now and they are neither responding nor sending the shipment. Please let me know whom and how to contact someone who will at least provide some satisfactory response as my work is badly getting hampered and they are just way to irresponsible towards their consumer.

                                    dell laptop order cancellation request

                                    I have raised the order cancellation request (Service request no. [protected]) against my laptop purchase online (Order no.[protected] from the dell website on 12.08.2020, on the same day on which purchase made, few hours after later.

                                    As per dell website, order support page stipulations "it is only possible to cancel your order before the production and packaging process starts".

                                    Dear sir/ madam, refer to dell service tag [protected]. I have run backup and restore from the dell dbar tool. The complete process was successful and the tool made a backup folder in the external hard disk. However, the dbar dell tool did not restore the data. Now, neither dell authorized service center nor dell customer care technical support is providing support to decrypt the compressed file being created by dell dbar tool. Kindly help me with getting my precious data being encrypted by the dell dbar tool. I have consulted every expertise. Everyone is suggesting only one solution that only dell can decrypt the backup folder as the same is being created by the dell dbar tool. Regards
