Soon after my car was serviced at your V Go Ford Service station 2 weeks ago, the clutch started giving me trouble. On returning to the service station, I was told the clutch needs to be changed and is not under warranty as its wear and tear. However, at my last service I was told that there was a problem with the clutch and that they were doing adjustments.

The Key Concerns that arise here are:

1. The car has only been driven 39000 kms in the city and needs such major repairs, which indicates either there is a usage of inferior quality components in the car or the car is being tampered with while servicing. Both of which is dangerous for me.

2. Subsequently, on taking it to the service station I am told the clutch needs to be changed which would cost me Rs 10000 as it is the cars wear and tear and thus not covered under warranty. I would like to mention here I drive my cars myself and am very particular about the timely servicing and is kept in pristine condition, which you can see from my past records, And that my last car was an 8 year old Honda which was sold in an immaculate condition and I never received a problem like this with it. I would like to re-iterate- the problem of substandard quality or incapability of service staff.

3. On escalating the matter, I am sent an invoice of Rs 44000 instead the earlier disputable Rs 10000 as cost of repairs as they had to change other parts- something I was not asked or informed of before they made such "repairs". Then I am told, they will compensate by paying Rs 24000 out of goodwill and I have to pay the balance Rs 20000- Where the work initially had to be done in Rs10000.

Which raises further concern over your Integrity and competence- not being able to assess the problem even after the service or trying to take advantage of the situations of customers keeping busy in their professional lives and willing to pay any amount when it comes to our safety.

4. All my concerns contradict your slogan on low maintenance cost and every vehicle undergoing 169 quality checks.

Harassment to Customer(especially females):
5. On taking the car to the service station my mother was told by the General Manager Mr Jasraj that the problem will be fixed in half an hour, after which by the Mr Navin, the service representative that it will take upto an hour. At 1 PM( having already been waiting since 11 AM) she was told that as it was all the staff had gone for lunch, they will fix afterwards. At 1:30 PM, My mother left, after which she got a call again at 4 PM to come and check the problem as they had mentioned that a picture of the parts and the car to be sent to Ford for investigating into the matter and ascertaining their liability. However, when she arrived, the car was jacked up and was opened up, the parts being taken out from the car.Then was showed 2 parts and told there was a problem with them, when my mother asked how she was assess not being an engineer herself, Mr Jasraj stated he would show her the new parts so they could make out the difference and disappeared for 30 minutes, after which my mother decided to leave.
The service station staff know that it is not a place frequented by women, with drivers sleeping in the waiting lounge and rather than making us feel more at ease they only make us more uncomfortable by making us wait these unacceptability long hours in such a place. With the progressing laws and ways towards women, I would like for your staff to be more sensitive responses towards women. And unlike the other drivers that wait there we have other matters to tend to and that is why only go when there is problem(which is often) and have been called to check or to drop off the car for service.
The ordeal at the service station at every service always leaves me distressed. Which is the main reason for customers avoiding private service centers which charge less than the company service stations. However, this has proven not only troublesome but increasing my anxiety over the dangers of a possible car failure any minute.

Rather than me having to constantly having to call you and write to you, such crucial troubles with the car at such an early stage should have been reported to you by your service center.


Unfortunately, this is NOT my first complaint(Previous complaint Ref#[protected] regarding the quality of the car products as well as service offered by the V Go Ford service station in Faridabad(all the problems regarding the customer service still persistent), in the short span of 2 years of owning the car. I would like for you to investigate into the matter and would like the car to be re checked by a competent service station for any other problems with the major parts and engine that may put my safety in jeopardy.

I would appreciate if you could escalate the matter. As while purchasing an upscale car from a multinational automaker as yours we had expected hassle free driving experience as well as service from your end.

    This is sannidhya bhatnagar from hisar (Haryana). I have booked ford aspire titanium model with smoke grey colour on 17th oct 2016. At tara ford, hisar. They have promised me to avail the car in 7 days. At their words i have submitted the token money of rs 25000/- and booked the car. But now it is 8 days have passed but they are saying we dont know about the status of the car. Even they have signed a paper on which it is written that they will avail the car in next 7-10 days. But they are failed on their words. I want to buy ford car for the very first time in my life but the experience is literally bitter. Please look into the matter as soon as possible or i will cancel the booking.

      I had harrowing experience at bhagat ford jalandhar. My car pb08 bg 7800 met with trivial accident on night of[protected]. I myself took my car for repairs at body shop on[protected]. The surveyor accessed losses on[protected]. But till[protected], 4.00 pm the repair work of my car was still pending. The body shop mamager mohit sharma did not make any effort to get the work completed by friday latest as promised by him and his junior mr. Amandeep. When i went to workshop on[protected] at 4 pm then mohit told me that car will be delivered on[protected]. On my pointing out that for such trivial repairs you take such long time, which is job of only three days maximum, then he started the pending work. They have little respect for the good customers like me who have driven ford for 4 lakh 70 thousand kms. Moreover there was sehdev singh who just sits lazily in his chamber and makes no effort to accomodate good customers like me. All of them are totally uncooperative and totally unprofessional, lazy persons who have no respect for good customers and have no concern for4 the problem of the customer. They all are arrogant. And indulge in mudslinging against good workers like mr. Sandeep guleria who have served the company. Sehdev singh, mohit sharma and amandeep delay the working at workshop. They are inefficient and make no effort for the timely delivery of the vehicle making customer uncomfortable. Such persons are parasites on company and its for the company to decide where they will take the company. I suggest suitable action be taken against them for harrassing me.

        I would like to bring to your notice that we recently had a very bad experience with the sivakasi ford service station people. Iam the owner of ford figo titanium which was bought on april 2014 in the name of pallikonda rajasekaran. We have already done a general service on 17.6.2016 in sivakasi service station, in that case the engineer sent a person and completed our service by delivering the vehicle at our residence. Now we requested for the third service to the same sivakasi service centre which is nearest to us. The service engineer (Phone [protected]) accepted and promised to send a person to take the vehicle for the service from our residence at srivilliputtur which is 30kms from the service station but he did not send a person to take the vehicle, still the engineer did not contact us about this. We are totally dissapointed with the poor response from your people.

          To whomsoever this may concern,

          I would like to bring into your notice that recently I have experienced a pathetic display of customer service from your Jalandhar service team. I am owner of Ford Figo Aspire car whose vehicle no. is PB08 DE 0629. Car was purchased by me last year in December 2015 and is registered in the name of Akash Deep Sethi.

          I was a happy customer of Ford until couple of weeks back. I went to service station for the second service of my car which had run little over 10000 Kms. I had problem with my wheel alighment issue and it was also giving noise and car was vibrating at the speed of 60-70 Km/hr. I informed this to service team long back and also have given written fedback to ford team about my wheel alignment issue in my 1st service itself. Despite this, nobody ever attended and checked the issue with tyres/wheel alignment and said to come some other time because of low bandwidth of staff.

          So recently before my 2nd service, I came to know from my friend itself that this is a fault with MRF tyres and company is replacing it for the customers and I should visit Ford service station and get mine changed too. My friend got the tyres replaced free of cost and his car had run around 12000 km already.

          The day I went to ford service station, I asked them about the tyre change policy and my friend was also there getting the tyres replaced free of cost. The service team then told me that they will change tyres of my car as well free of cost and I should pay a visit some other day as they were again busy on that day.

          After few days, I called service team for an appointment on when I should come next but instead their service Manager - Mr. Sehdev was extremely rude with me on phone. First, he asked me to tell him about the name of staff who committed me ofreplacing my tyres free of cost even when my car had around above 10000 kms. He had no sense of talking to a customer. He was extremely loud on call and did not care about his customer. He kept asking for written proofs of any such commitment. Now, is this a way to talk to a customer? When a customer visit service station then he does not carry pen and paper with him to talk to service staff there. We only talk through mouth and am sure Ford knows this and trust their customers. If not, then there is seriously wrong with your customer service.

          Now, service manager is telling me to pay 25% of fees for replacing tyres which were faulty right from the beginning when I purchased the car but I am not going to pay for the following reasons :

          1. I was never informed by the service team to get the tyres replaced as soon as possible and under 10000 km for free. I was only informed through my friend who also got his tyres replaced free of cost.

          2. I was first committed by your service team - Mr. Jitender and Mr Harsh from Jalandhar service team that they will replace the tyres for free of cost for me and then later denied of any such commitments which was shocking and a big lie on the face of customer itself.

          3. The worst part was the way Mr. Sehdev who is so called Service Manager of Jalandhar service team, the way he talked to me on phone and was very loud and extremely rude while talking. He did not even care when I said I will write a complaint against him to Ford and said that "Go ahead, do it". He has completely harassed me and I feel sorry that I bought a car from Ford and regretting my decision and will now say this to everyone if my request is unheard even by top management.

          If there is still customer service alive in Ford and if they do care about your customers then please look into this matter ASAP and fix this for me. It is not about paying 25% but it is the way the service team has handled this matter and the way they are dealing with customers that I will NOT pay anything to get the MRF tyres replaced of my Ford India car. I donot want to ruin my relationship with Ford because of this incident and because of this service manager so writing this email to Ford to seek help. I request to look into this matter and also take strict actions against the service Manager of Jalandhar team - Mr. Sehdev.

            It is a feb, 2008 ford fiesta zx1, engine no.8b44519, vehicle number up-12q 0033 purchased by sis.
            This car was previously serviced at sai ford, bhopal in the month of feb & april. On 25th aug. While driving car started dropping the acceleration and after halt petrol indication was zero and there was no petrol in the tank. However, during drive there was no such indication perchance due to sensor malfunctioning. After filling the petrol continued my drive to office. On return i noticed starting trouble and jerks/ loss of acceleration during drive.
            On 26th morning car was handed over for servicing to sai ford and problem was intimated. I was told that it was a major service and vehicle would be delivered on 27th afternoon. As per schedule car was delivered at my office after replacing the battery and full servicing costing 21k. Further they informed that car has completed 1, 00, 000 kms and need engine block replacement costing 60k which appeared completely indigestible.
            Surprisingly, i faced identical problem while driving back on 27th evening. Next day it was sunday and i tried to contact the concern service advisor and customer service manager but no one picked up the phone. Yesterday, when the problem was discussed with service centre they told me to deliver the car again for rechecking without standby facility.
            This was my 3rd visit at sai ford for servicing in span of seven months which ended up with wastage of time and money because of inferior quality of services and attitude of service provider. To inform you that in past 7 years, i had never faced such poor quality of workman ship from ford authorized service centres. I am forwarding three service invoices of sai ford for your review.
            Kindly arrange necessary corrections as authorized service provider are responsible for developing the image of brand among users.

            Comments - this complaint was forwarded more than one month back but there is no response from manufacturer side. I have seen many more complaints those were left unsettled by manufacturer cell.
            Is this kind of after sale services being provided by ford. Customer care/complaint cell appears functional less.
            It has been decided not to recommend and purchase this brand in future.

              I bought ecosport titanium diesel in june 2015 from harpreet ford. I was under the impression that immobilizer car can not be stolen. It was stolen on[protected] night. Thieves just took 10-15 minutes to stole it as per cctv footage available. The car is not safe as gear lock can not be fitted onto it.
              Buy cars with gear lock only.
              I approached harpreet ford, gurgaon, they told me that duplicate keys can be manufactured against order only. I do not know how, thieves has cracked the code.

                I'm arvinder and owning ecosport.in the month of july 16 i had requested for accident repairs from maxis motors p ltd noida upon my vehicle and it was not performed. I still have the original job card which was never asked to return. Request you to pl intervene as 0 debt was requested and i really don't know whether dealer has taken the claim or know.                   I myself Mahendra K Patel, Manager at Bank of Baroda Dehgam Branch Dist Gandhinagar Gujarat. Previously I was serving as Branch Manager at Bank of Baroda, Shinol Branch in 2014 and also canvassed and financed 4 to 5 Ford Cars during March to May 2014 and issued Demand Draft in favour of S P Ford Himatnagar Gujarat

                  On[protected] while driving I missed a speed bump on the road and the car got broken down .After 5 minutes when I started it again, it was running properly and I managed to reach home. Next morning again I could not start my car and indicator was showing engine check warning lamp. I contacted Ford service centre Sabarmati Ford Vastral Ahmedabad regarding the issue. They came and after looking the problem they took the car to service centre for to regular service and fixing the problem.

                  After two days on 03/10/2016 my son visited the service centre to take delivery for the car and ready to pay service charges approx. Rs 8000 which was asked to pay by the service centre as repair and servicing cost. My son took the test drive, after test drive car once again broken down. They called for further support for repairing the car from Mumbai by Online Support. On 05/10/2016 they contacted me on telephone that further Rs 50000/- has to be paid by you for Electronics components/Parts that had to be changed according to them( I wonder why they did not find that before) .

                  My Car was purchased from S P Ford Himmatnagar in June 2014. I feel that your Authorised Service Station People are not giving the proper repair and maintenance as initially i was told to pay normal servicing charges of Rs. 8000 and later I was told to pay a heavy amount of Rs. 50000/- and also I was being asked to pay 3000 to 4000/- additional labour charges, that I feel being cheated by them.

                  On[protected] I have paid an amount of Rs. 25000 but I don’t understand how all the electronics parts can be get damaged due to just a mere bump on the road . I feel that 60000 is a heavy expense to bear for this breakdown. Please give me the justification of this expense or else I will have to take the help of consumer forum.

                    Ford Figo Fuel injector issue

                    I brought Ford Figo 2012 Model on 02/2012 at Talera Ford Nigdi, Pune. At present it have been completed 22000Km only and have done periodical maintenances as per Ford schedule.                     The vehicle underwent first service at 2500 km and second service at 9800 km at the service center attached to the dealer (Muthoot ford, calicut).
                    The unusual wear and tear in all the four mrf tyres was not brought to my notice by the service center. However, by the time the vehicle covered 10, 000 km, the vehicle started giving uncomfortable noise. On approaching the dealer, i was directed to the mrf sales office at calicut. The report of mrf has been submitted to muthoot ford (The dealer). I am annoyed that the service center concealed the matter o[censored]nusual wear and tear to all 4 tyres and does not show necesary concern to address my genuine complaint. I request you to take necessary action to solve the issue (Whether it relates to tyre or to the vehicle)

                      I bought a new ecosport titanium reg no HR51bh0112 since beging i told to the service centre that from the doors, dickey n dashbord noise are coming and when the car goes on bumpy road thhe steering is making rattling noise bt no one is bothered enough to rectify it
                      Whenever i go to the service centre they alway say that we can only tighten the underbody nuts
                      I just want to ask that if company cannot rectify the complaint then it is better not to buy the FORD vehicle in future

                        One of the service center in tamilnadu called ashaya ford service center which is in tirunelveli where i went for recent service. Bodyshop guy called Baskar he estimated some amount then when i came for paying back the amount he has put 2 conditions. 1. Whole direct bill payment to ashaya service 2. 50% of bill only can pay but remaining need to pay in his hand(as a bribe). Wanted to understand complete corrupted structure.. I paid to him. I thought he will.ask me to pay out of premise but beauty was he got money frome me inside reception area where CCTV attached. Overall working people in Akshaya only bothering about security folks who are standing outside. Very very worst dealership for prestigious ford. I know ford won't bother about customers than dealer

                          Engine oil leakage problem of my ford figo car

                          This is Sant Kumar Jangir purchased new ford figo titanium 1.5L diesel on 24th feb16 from KS ford, Sikar -Rajasthan.Now after running of 12000Km wheel is making noise and after consulting KS service they said wheel is defective.Service enginer denied to atend and making numerous excuses. I am so upset from behaviour of KS ford services and also from this above product.

                            I mr.dinesh mandal purchased an ford endeavour on dated 9.9.16 from ranchi jharkhand showroom names diara automotives pvt.ltd. there was manufacturing defect on the engine as on purchase day I found a sound coming from engine.I contact the dealer the next day, they told team will look after the car from mumbai they will come.my vehicle is on showroom from the next day itself.they didn't provide proper feedback.when I came call on 23.9.16 they told we have to change the engine.another it will take 10 days.now I need replacement of my vehicle. I paid 33lacs .I wont use defeative car.help it out

                              My car service dhanbad raj hans ford jharkhand after secon service my ac and hornnot work propery one door show open every time door rubber are not set propperly becaue he wash hot car thenall side gat are sound all small rubber are fell during wasing no any feedback tacken by me my service center along 200 k.m not possible to go there an saying somthing

                                I had purchased a Ford classic in November 2014 and at that point of time they had an offer an exchange which gave me a benefit of 30, 000 INR extra on my old car and it’s been 2 years running and the money is still not come have followed it up on a few occasions but things where falling on deaf ears. So finally I have decided to send a open letter so that other customers should not fall prey to ponzi schemes and . offers. Things won’t end here same things will be put up on social media and other platforms. This is just an awareness campaign.

                                  I am very sorry to say about the poor services of For India Bhopal. I just feel harassed by them.

                                  I have Ford IKON, purchaced around 9 years ago presently having reverse gear problem. Contacted Bhopal Ford Service centre on 10th Septemebr 2016, I was assured that it will be done in 3-4 days as part is not available. It took around 10 days to procure the part from somewhere else, then I was told vehicle will be delivered in 1 or max 2 days. After 3days, when contacted them, they said, there is one more part required and it may take another 2 days as it is available in Chennai. I just listened patiently. As per new deadline, they were supposed to deliver the vehicle yesterday, on 22nd September. I called Mr Sandeep and Mr Pravin-Workshop Manager, but they did not take my call. This morning again I called them, both did not attend my call. After some time, Sandeep called me and informed that the second part has not come yet and it may take another 1 or 2 days.During these periods, I called them many a time, but most of the time they avoided to take my call.

                                  No I am fed up, you cannot understand my mental agony. I really feel harassed by your staff in Bhopal. What I am receiving them is only FALSE ASSURANCE. Still I am not sure when my vehicle will be repaired.

                                  The staff is totally incompetent or they just take the customers very lightly. If the part is not available, they must have told me in the beginning, I would have got it done from somewhere else. Their behavior is totally unprofessional and not acceptable at any cost.

                                  I had plans to by new car from you in exchange of this old vehicle and talked had initial discussion too with sales department, but now NO. Its simply end of relationship.

                                  Now I just, with my folded hands, say sorry that it was my mistake that I came to you for services. I just, again with my folded hands, request you to deliver my vehicle unrepaired. I am simply fed up.

                                  I am still doubtful if you could do something for me

                                    I bought a brand new Ford EcoSport on 26 Aug 16. Within 2 weeks the gear system failed. When I took it to service centrr, I was informed that the gear tooth was broken and will be covered under warranty.However Ford rejected my claim telling that it was vehicle abuse by owner and asked to me incur entire cost. How can a owner abuse his newly purchased car bought by hard earned money. I have been provided sub standard item by Ford.
