FRRO - Hyderabad — Holding application and asking bribes

I thought the frro's in most of the states are created to help the people in their application process. They have become a layer of taking bribes. I too had a bad experience at the frro- hyderabad. I finally had to cancel my application as the ffro staff have been holding the application at hyderabad till i pay them the bribe. I finally applied and got my oci when i went to us. Looks like there is no one to question these people for how long they can hold the documents before they can really submit them to the delhi office for further processing. These are the modern educated beggers of the 21st century.
