Non delivery of shipment

My docket that was given an assured delivery date of June 2 to Imphal is yet to be delivered. I have not received any details so far as to where my cargo is right now and why that is taking so long to be delivered.

This has been the second time I have had trouble with tracking my consignment through GATI. This time I also fear something might have happened to my cargo as the status message says that they received only the documents...

Manhandling items

I booked a consignment of 14 boxes through Gati. The delivery people were flinging my boxes out of the van right in front of me at the delivery point. To top that my air conditioner was completely broken and does not even work now.

They do not take any responsibility for damage during transit and are hence extremely careless about the condition they deliver the goods in. I cannot believe this company won awards for their service....

Pathetic service.

Delayed Delivery

I have booked 4 items including one Bike From Indore (M.P.) for Bangalore on 27th April 2011. Assured delivery for these items was on 02 May 2011 in Bangalore at destination.

Even passing a whole day of 02 May 20111 nobody has turned up to deliver booked stuffs.

At least on 03 May 2011 i was expecting Delivery off my households and bikes but again by the end of the day situation was Same :(

Extra charge of money than mentioned in the invoice

Sir/Madam,

I have booked a cargo (7 cartons) with GATI Ltd. with respect to Docket no.[protected] dated 5th October 2010 from New Delhi. The cargo reached Ranchi on 11th October 2010. But, when it reached my home, the delivery boy asked me to pay Rs. 3192 as against Rs. 2592 mentioned in my docket (invoice). He showed me the copy of invoice, in which all figures were overwritten. Dheeli.com - appropriate rename

Looking at the number and type of complaints from others, in addition to the problems we faced in last three shipments through Gati.com, we believe, and have recommended them too, that they should change the name to Dheeli.com which is the best looking at their performance.

One wonders why this company is ripping the clients - receiving overseas parcels/shipments - by charging Customs Duty on non-existent products and handing...

Simply Pathetic Service

We couriered a parcel containing one piece of Computer Cabinet in CKD (completely knocked down) form valued at USD 4.40/Pc was couriered vide Choicex Tracking[protected] and onwards by Gati's Tracking #[protected] on 03-Sept-2010.

However, since the parcel was not delievered in more than three weeks after dispatch from here, we sent an email to their local agent with copy to Gati.com. We were informed by Gati.com that...

Lies, Delay and Lack of Transparency

We couriered a 15-Kg parcel through Choice International, Guangzhou (China) to our Consignee in Mumbai on 20-May that was routed through Gati.com's Tracking No.[protected].

Upon the Consignee's on complaint of non-receipt of parcel, we checked on Gati.com and found the status as under:

Courier guys won't come home to take the bike

I was told about the charges but that I would have to drop my stuff off at the location. I requested for a door service and Packing too, I had to remind the personnel that packing is done with an extra charge, since I'd been offered the same at Gati-Maharashtra. extra charges

Today i have recd two boxes of 42 kgs from kolkata to ludhiana Docket no[protected] TO PAY.
And your delivery person is demanding Rs 1746/- for this small shipment.

If the same shipment, i send these goods to same destination through Blue dart they will charge approx 650/- and as well as all other couriers or cargo companies
but your charges are horrible.
these are 3 times than any other top 5 cargo companies.br...

Received damaged goods

I received the damaged delivery of computer which was shipped on 28th July'10 from Bangalore to Kota by Gati Corporation. It was a personal computer containing 4 cartons one each for monitor, CPU, UPS and Speakers.

Non-Delivery of Cargo

On 7th July 2010, I dispatched a cargo containing 3 pieces from IIT Kanpur to my residence at South Delhi via GATI under their docket number[protected]. The most irritating aspect of this wait time is the fact that they have the worst imaginable customer communication...
