Sub: Failure of Activa HondaServices and avail of warranty services, Reg.,

Sir

This is to bring to your kind notice that I have purchased Activa Honda, bearing engine no.-JC44E[protected] on[protected] from the dealer, Sri Silicon Motors, The activa has 4 free sevrvices.



I had just come from your Service Centre which is located at Banashankari 3rd Stage Bangalore. I had given my HONDA Activa for servicing in the morning at 07:30 am (09/07/2012) to one of your Honda supervisor (Silicon Honda) .

When I checked my HONDA activa, it has no scratches on my vehical , and I asked to fit some extra fitting like front guard and back guard and seat cover and side ladies foot rest, but he did not note it properly, and he said we will make it ready and you can come and collect on Wednesday (11/07/2012), I said this is my 1st servers they told your suppose to give before 25th of June now time is over we have to take it as a paid service and I told them still I am not yet run my vehicle more then 500 KM why don’t you take it as a 1st free servers, I said in front of me he has taken my services book and he removed my 1st services paper. And also he shouted on me. I said I will complaint to your company he said you can do whatever you want. We will accept it as paid server and come and collect your vehicle after two days.

when I called on 11th they said your bike is ready and come and collect, I asked them what and all extra fittings you made it for my vehicle, They said except lady side foot rest everything we added, I told them to add what you guys missed then they said no sir, whatever in job your mention only we added, I checked with one Silicon supervisor name called Mohan, he said it is not possible whatever it is there in job card we added if you want me to add one more extra fitting u want to make new job card. I said ok.
After they added extra fitting I asked the bill they said it is not possible we will give you by tomorrow or else you can pay the bill take your vehicle from service center, or else come tomorrow and collect your vehicle, Instead of Rs1500 they charged me Rs2200, I paid my bill and ask them to deliver, By that time I found one scratch on my vehicle I asked to the mechanic was done the services please call and asked him, But they said when u given the services itself the scratch is there, I told I was not there, they are started arguing, and they told we will not do anything.
I must say the level of services which are being provided now a day by your employees at this specific service centre is zero at the moment. And not only me, around 5-6 customers were arguing with ur staff just b'coz of their third class services.
It is kind requests kindly take some action against On your services Department and one more thing, Your supervisor has lots of attitude but he doesn't know how to provide services to the customers.
I feel this is not the proper way to render customer services. I am really disappointed because I have been a very good customer of yours since many years. Our family own 2 Activas and of your esteemed company. I am not satisfied with the response of the dealer.

I request you to relieve the vehicle according to terms and conditions at the earliest.

Dear sir,

I brought Honda activa two wheeler on[protected] from Gian auto's G.T.Road Ferozepur Cantt.
about two month i got problem self battery. i am living in Moga about 60 Km from Gian Auto's i cant there for fix this problem. your another authorised dealer name Hem Honda ferozerpor road moga. i went there number of time to fix this problem. but they are not fixing this problem here in moga they want to go there at Gian Auto for this purpose but i cannot go there because of my work. my friend told me about this i can get service for this from any Honda authorised dealer, then agian i went to Hem Honda agian on[protected] to solve this problem after the discuss this matter they keep my honda battery to replace and they ask me to come back after 5 days but still not replaced the battery also there are not responding about replacement of the battery soon.this is still in gurantee period.i already submit all the gurantee documents and card.
please do something to solve my problem

I was treated so bad by a service rep. that a general manger called seven day later not the service manger but a general manger later he received my hand written letter. It had to do about a rental car for the second time that i was in service for the same problem.Cheap price and piss poor service is leaving a very bad taste in my mouth, and also the 800# tells me that all dealer are indepentant own and runs the dealership the way they see fit. Just Great. This is the first time that i bought NOT an amercain made car like ford mercury and chevy. SURPRISE, SURPRISE OK time to go this is an very unhappy Honda customer
A very nasty treatment at Hondaservice especially at Mathikere and Whitefield, Bangalore because i stayed at both places.
Compalints:
1.They smile a lot, receive a lot and bill a lot
2.They charge for engine oil, but never change it-rascals.
3.They include all crap reasons and make the bill bigger
4.I have never seen the body wash to satisfy me, dirt remains dirt even after washing.
5.An average bill at honda service would be 350-500 which is meaningless.
6.I advice you please visit a mechanic outside honda service and save money

This is to bring to your kind notice that I have purchased Activa Honda, bearing engine no.-JC44E0370012 on[protected] from the dealer, Sri Vigneshwara Motors, code no.-AP130001. The activa has 5 years warranty. The engine of our active failed within one year in spite of having the warranty given by the dealer. We have availed the motor services within the time mentioned in the book. The Honda has been given for the first service within the kilometer limits, but the date has been extended. We have been charged Rs.60 for the continuation of warranty.

The engine of activa failed within the stipulated time. I have given the vehicle for the servicing at Sri Vigneshwara Motors on[protected]. The dealer demanded Rs.4,950 for replacing the equipment. He did not intimate us about the charges in the beginning as we were in the perception of free charges.

We requested for the replacement of Chouque right in the second month of the vehicle purchase. But he replaced the chouque on 15.12.2010, i.e,. after eight months. I feel this is not the proper way to render customer services. I am really disappointed because I have been a very good customer of yours since many years. Our family own 2 Activas and two other Honda bikes of your esteemed company. I am not satisfied with the response of the dealer.

I request you to relieve the vehicle according to terms and conditions at the earliest.

but due to some financial she was unable to purchase that vehicle.so on behalf of myself rajesh holgare want to purchase that vehicle so consult with them & they said you bring her appraroval letter that she is willing to give booked activa to mr.rajesh holgare & also bring her election card.first of all they are ready to me vehicle but when asked them that i don't want accesories then they told that they send to company approval but when after four day i again consult they said you purchase vehicle on her name only .
so please help on this issue as early as posible

I had just come from your Service Centre which is located at Chunniganj, Kanpur. I had given my Activa for servicing in the morning at 11:00 a.m to one of your supervisor named Mr. Janak Raj. When I checked my activa, it was totally dusty in the front portion as well as the back end portion. When I called the supervisor, he told me that this is the colour o[censored]r activa and not the dust and then I showed him the dust after taking it with my finger. Your supervisor called the cleaner and he himself went to watch the Cricket Match on TV. And your one of the staff told me that they don't have the time to see each and every vehicle whether they are being washed or not. I must say the level of services which are being provided now a days by your employees at this specific service centre is zero at the moment. And not only me, around 5-6 customers were arguing with ur staff just b'coz of their third class services. I have been taking the services by your service centre since last three years, but now its not worth going to your Chunniganj Service Centre. Its a kind request kindly take some action against Mr. Janak Raj and one more thing, ur supervisor has lots of attitude but he doesn't know how to provide services to the customers. I'm also working in Corporate Sector from last 3 yrs in Admin Dept, so I know how customer handling is done.

This is to bring to your kind notice that I have purchased Activa Honda, bearing engine no.-JC44E2039746 on[protected] from the dealer, Dhanista Honda, NH-52, NT Road, North Lakhimpur (Assam) Code No AR-01-0001. The engine of our activa failed within one year in spite of having the warranty given by the dealer. So I inform the Dealer Manager & told the problem about the matter. He told me to bring the Activa in the dealer, but it was too far & difficult from Naharlagun to North Lakhimpur, while the Activa is not in running condition so I request the manager to preferred to JMKMR HONDA, Naharlagun. So he said Ok. The next day I went to the JMKMR Honda & told the manager about the problem. He told me to bring the Activa in the Dealer Workshop. After they found out the problem, they told me that the Cam Shaft is not working so replace it. I went to the dealer & told that the Camshaft is not working so moreover I have the warranty card. According to them I submitted the Warranty Card along with Cam Shaft. After few days I went to the JMKMR Honda Dealer to ask about the reports, they told me that still not yet came. Atlast the reports came after more than 22 days. they told me that the Company didn't except it after having the warranty card. I told them that I am going to paid it so replace it. In that time Cam shaft was not available in the dealer. I order it from the Guwahati by my own money along with carrier charges. I feel this is not the proper way.. I am really disappointed because after having the warranty card it has been rejected. I am not satisfied with the response from the dealer.

I request you to take action according to terms and conditions at the earliest.

    I had Purchased Honda Unicorn From Nagpur Maharastra at 3/10/2008. Within week, it's Engine get seized. It has to be replaced, because once engine opened, its over. But I cooperate politely with Honda And dealer too, and had engine repaired from Gurgaon depot part. (By Honda it self paid that time).
    But now after 3.7 yrs same problem arises in engine. JSP honda service Chennai says that it will worth @ 18 to 20,000/-, It is beyond any bike holders economy (Buying New vehicle). It is not my mistake, I had done regular services with change of oil etc. As I cooperate first time not to replace this faulty product of honda unicorn, I need Honda cooperation Regarding Financial economical exemption in engine repair.
    I know and experience that this time Honda will Cooperate with his costumer.

      i had given cash of rs 1000 to race honda jagatpuri delhi for booking of honda activa but they delayed for three month and after that these guys pressurise to buy accesories worth 3000rs which is not compulsory or at the same time they were asking 1500rs as a black money for delievering the scooter 2day itself.i refused and by mistake i left my reciept to mr sanjay working there he said there is no advance recieved from u we do not owe any money.along with dealership owner mr.goel also refusing for any amount.although i offered there people to show me cash reciepts i will get satisfy and i will not ask for my money they refused for this also.i looged in complaint at honda 2 wheers customer care.but no further meeting or step has been taken yet.
      anyhow 1000rs is not the amount to file a case against them but its how terrible that a honda new sales showroom is doing like this and it is how bad impression for honda company becoz dealership is representing the company.im really very shocked and surprised that for such a small amount these people want to loose thier customers and company also donot want to react against their dealership.huhhh.hieght of fraud in such a limited comapny

        I have purchased Honda Activa on 16th September, 2013 from your dealer Hindan Honda, Modinagar Ghaziabad(U.P.).
        After seven months my scooter got jammed on the road, so I complained to respective delear and provida my scooter to fix.
        After inquiry mechanics told us there are so many parts which are not working properly and they will repair the parts and fix them.
        I have told them that scooter is in guaranty if so many parts are not working then please change the engine instead of rparing with local mechanics.

        As such I request you to please pass necessary instructions to reliable person/dealer for providing me new engine instead of reparing, failing which I will be compelled to take the protection of law.

          TERRIBLE service by JUGAL KISHORE HONDA lucknow

          I went for the paid service of my activa (job card no. 12465) on 06/07/12. The major problem being my shockers not working well and making squeaking sounds on speed breakers, this problem was told to the servicemen on my previous servicing as well, which was my last free service. Neither was this problem solved then and nor has it been solved now, even though it is a paid service this time. What is even more shameful is that I personally enquired of the mechanic if the shocker has been repaired or not. He replied in affirmation to the fact that it had been.But to my utter dismay as soon as I crossed the first speed breaker I realized that the shockers had not been repaired at all.

          Furthermore, despite getting it written in the job card to check the brakes, I could easily figure out nobody had bothered to tighten the extremely loose breaks. I had to get them tightened personally
          the scooty had not been washed or cleaned properly either.
          And since I knew how shoddy a job they do in waxing the scooty and that they are wise enough to wax the seat of the scooty (which makes it extremely slippery) I asked them to not wax it

          I returned home with my activa neither cleaner nor better working than I had before giving it for servicing
          I wasted 480 rs on servicing and approx 50 rs in commuting back and forth.
          It's not the money that bothers me. It's the fact that despite repeated attempts at getting my scooty repaired I'M not succeeding.

          What good is one of the best scooties(activa) in india to me if it isn't serviced properly and not working properly.

          I am also not satisfied with the very system of taking in the vehicle for servicing, which is, in short, ridiculous.
          Customers line up from 7am outside the showroom to get a number. Most of the workers come by 7:30 but the person responsible for giving the number arrives around 8. After that the customers have to descent a very steep slope and stop midway on the slope to get the number. This causes huge rush and is very risky as the ramp is very steep and narrow. Those who do come early ultimately get left behind unless they push past the others to get in. With around 40-50 people lined up it very chaotic and its very easy to lose balance and get severe injuries.

          What I would suggest is that as soon as people come they should be given their job card number there and then. After that when the service centre opens around 8:30 the vehicles should be brought down serial wise and the customers' job cards should be prepared, to avoid unnecessary chaos and terrible accidents.

          Again, I gave the car for servicing on 31st with the same complaints clutch plate rattling, Steering wheel issue. It is not done

          I have told them that there is noise in the front and it could be due to shock absorbers. But your team has changed the Wheel bearing,charged me Rs 14000 and the noise is still there.

          Should we raise police complaint or to go press to expose your tricks

          Why do you do this kind of service ??

            dear sir , i have visit surat kataria honda showroom for inquiry of new honda shine ,
            because of misbehave by kataria honda's cashier mr, sachin i m not buy your bike ,
            mr.sachin doing very misbehave with customer, he has no manors how to deal with customers,
            he is totally wrong man on wrong place he has idea how to even speak. i am politely saying please take strike action on the man otherwise you will lost your customer form citylight area in surat.. just because of the man he is not deserve to part of kataria honda.

              we have booked a car ,Honda Jazz, with Lally Automobiles pvt Ltd. D-196 and160 Okhla industrial area, phase-1,new delhi 110020, phone no.[protected],40210000.
              The booking date was 04/06/2012,with icici cheque no.002867, amount being 25000 INR.
              delivery date was 03/07 2012,
              now on the 1st of july when we called the concerned person he said delivery will be made on 3rd of july as per schedule, on 3rd when we called up the same person said ,sorry they don't have our requisite car on the production line ,they can give us a model which is 26ooo, thousand costlier than the one that we booked, and for the specific colour that we put our booking for ,that will take at least till 10th of july to be delivered and the model that we booked earlier can only be delivered in red colour.Actually I agreed to their higher priced car provided they give a car from their showroom which I can use till the time they can deliver my car according to my booking, the lady named Monika from Honda show room said she will call me back in 20 minutes time at 10 o' clock in the morning till now its exactly i o' clock in the afternoon there is neither any call from the company side nor any assurance of returning my cheque with interest ofcourse, I need your help in this matter and we must post their name in every daily news papers so that no other customer had to go through the same ordeal.

                Dear sir, i would like to inform to you. my Honda shine which registration no is GJ 5-HJ-1333, owner name: Babubhai dayalbhai shyani which engine no is JC36E2487387.
                Recently my Honda shine have some engine problem arises. engine make some noise and hiting so i went to your authorized dealer Chakradhar Honda which situated at Adajan, Surat, Gujarat and they check my Honda shine bike and they says to me your bike engine (valve) problem is there. your estimated cost is around Rs. 4000 and they don't repaired my bike and they says to me your bike warranty period is expired because of you missed bike service and not change oil but i always change oil time to time and one service may be missed because my bike is already in workshop at chakradar because of accdint..claim

                In short, they don’t give me any kind of warranty on my bike and other answers,
                Please sir help me and you solved my problem immediately basis. I hope u solved my problem..finally only one sentence……Honda bike is my completed dream…i always trust you and your company…

                my problem has been solved by Honda authorize dealer...they will repair my by bike with RS.900 only finally i am happy with honda... i want to desire new bike from honda
                I have purchased Honda cbshine on 16 Jan 2019 after 10 days pickup may decrease slowly. When I have complain to dealer Prashant Honda muzaffarpur they suggest kindly come and meet with service experts.Today I have met with they told me that clutch plates burnout due to temper in clutch wire. They have replaced so many items along with clutch plate and clutch wire and charged me for that. I am afraid that how clutch wire is tempered in new bike and what type of warranty is provided by company.

                  I have a Honda Dio of 2007 Model.The first problem was my bike engine got stuck.Then i went to Honda Showroom and showed the problem and he said that due to no oil the engine got stuck and they need to replace some parts ( Bore,Piston,Ring,) and i got the work done for Rs8500/-.Then later on it was fine for 6 months.And i was on the way and i heard some noise in the engine and i went to showroom...

                  I have bought a honda Activa scooter from dealer Swaroop Honda at Vikas Marg Preet Vihar in June -2009. I couldn't renew the insurance of scooter which has expired on 16 June-2012 due to some unavoidable circumstances. The chassis no. of scooter has deleted in three years, Now the insurance company refused to renew the insurance with out chassis no. on the vehicle. So please guide me how can I get chassis no. my scooter and renew the insurance. The name of insurance company is oriental insurance.

OR 05 AR 4149..On 29th august 2011..but i am having many problems like speedometre sensor and oil key , and the most big problem is the break down of starting on rainy days,,,after changing the sparking plug..i have bought it from JMG AUTOMOBILES PVT LTD,CUTTACK....i have already done four free servicing in dinesh trad. co. khurdha..i have already complaint from 1st servicing but they are neglecting on such things...

                      this is to inform, that i purchased my Honda activa on 28th of march 2012. in a Planet Honda showroom, Rajajinagar Bangalore.
                      it was day a first look of my vehicle & it is full of scratches on front panel n sides .( first impression was completely bad look) i complained to a manager. he changed all the panels on spot itself (happy for that) & after 3days of running a vehicle. i observed a rubbing sound in a clutch.so, i informed to a service center of Honda, they told it happens cos, its a new vehicle & it vl be fine after 1000kms or in a first service) i thought the same. so i kept quite, its day to leave for a first service. i complained them i am getting too much of rubbing noise near clutch part. they told as they rectify it. NO. problem is not solved. & the rubbing experience has turned too much.i complaint them. they told it vl be fine after second service.. NO it is not solved, they charged me for this clutch service (overhauling) for Rs.160, OK i paid. but still the problem is not solved. after second service. i faced Battery problem. self start problem. even my engine power is decreased, tightness in handle, rubbing sound was too much, mileage drop, vibrations,..today(25/6/2012) around 6pm. i was returning from work. i passed a hump. suddenly, my vehicle made huge sound like almost engine seize, vehicle electrical like (indicator, head light,horn) all were got switched off in a busy main road. & battery generated heavy heat & smoke (it would have got blast). complete fail to start the vehicle including kick start, it worked when i kick started but it made a creek like loud noise near engine like seize happen. so . i powered off & pushed the vehicle to a Honda service center near Rajajinagar. almost 3kilometers(majestic to Rajajinagar) i gave a complaint to a service & now they told as they check with a vehicle problems,(i don't believe that they vl check all my vehicle problems & solve) well ! its a new vehicle, am facing loads of problem like one or the other every day. please solve my problems ASAP or i vl to go a consumer court for sure. Really i have no feelings like new vehicle, machine works like second hand or rejected piece. not satisfied with Honda product.

                        i (nitin patil) booked my new honda city car at HOLLMARK HONDA in nerul navi mumbai
                        the manager name RITESH PANT promiced me that he will give me the car in one month and he taken 10,000 by me and gave receipt
                        after i two month i tired and and purchase new huyndai verna car
                        after four month the manager of hollmark honda nerul saying that he will not give me money or will pay halfly after some month

                        pls give suggetion that what can i do against them?

                          I purchased the HONDA ACTIVA scooter from CAPITAL SCOOTERS PVT LTD.,A-37,Ganesh Nagar, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi - 110018 on11/12/2011 vide INVOICE no.263 dt.11/12/2011, & a sum of Rs.901/= was charged for the insurance of my said ACTIVA scooter ( REGN.NO. DL10SB3515 ) .

                          But, it is sorry to write that neither any detail of insurance of the said scooter nor any whereabouts of the insurance office from where the insurance is done are provided to me. I have visited the showroom at Ganesh Nagar, New Delhi & also contacted them on the telephone, but of no use.

                          It is requested that the insurance policy be provided to me at the earliest.

Last week Tuesday (13/06/2012) I went to Valparai, due to rain I met with an accident and I have given my vehicle to Nearest Showroom Add Mentioned below Which is in Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) for the Service and they have given the Quotation also, I have filed the Insurance and they have taken the survey on 18th June 2012 and given Approval.

                                In showroom they are giving the reply as it will take 1 month or it can even take also 2 Months to get ready we will inform you. They say as they don't have the spares in the Showroom.

                                    This is in reference to my complaint regarding your authorize service center AS Automobile, Jagraon, Punjab.

                                    I purchased Hero Handa Splender from your auth dealer AS Autompbile Jagraon, Punjab on 21 June, 2011 in the name of Jagjeet Kumar.

                                    As per your terms regarding warranty I visited your service center regularly and had serviced my bike thru your service provider.

                                    Few days back I faced a problem in the shockers, they got leaked.
                                    As according to DOP bike was in warranty so I visited service center on 04 June, 2012, they said it will take some time to analyze it,
                                    I said ok no problems go ahead but make sure to resolve my problem.
                                    But after 4 hours their technician (I forgot the name) came to me and said there is no problem in shocker moreover you had not serviced
                                    Your bike thru proper channel KMs are over and gave so many reasons, I just asked him why are you giving these absurd excuses
                                    After 4 hours why you had not told me this earlier.
                                    He again said ok just go from here till now there is no problem in shockers, come again when there is visibilty of leakage on shockers.

                                    Then again on 09 june I visited service center because there was heavy oil on the shockers, they again said to me to wait.
                                    But this time the scenrio was totally changed they started abusing me cursing me and started misbehaving with me.
                                    They was just saying your warranty is over, I asked them why wty is over I had purchased on 21june and for that still 12 days left.
                                    Moreover if issue is with warranty then why you are misbehaving with me. At last after all this they didn’t resolve my problem and
                                    Said to me leave the service center without giving me any proper reason.

                                    This is way how india’s largest bike selling company behaves their customers
                                    Customers who had made Hero as a number 1.

                                    Wow the person who hade made the company was now treated like this.

                                    But I would like remind you that if you don’t respect your customers then one day surely who will be at bottom.

                                    I have no personal grudges with company, I have only grievance with this local service provider.

                                    Your kind intervention required so that these peoples will also learn some manners to treat with someone.

                                    Also kindly tell me why these peoples have not gave me the proper reason that wty is over.

                                    Your fast action will be highly appreciated otherwise I will left with no option.

                                      I have purchased Hero Honda Pleasure on 15th May-2012.
                                      After that one service has been made by the dealer's service station, when i reached at home than i couldnt able to open a seat lock. i was getting problem for the same. when i went to service station they have replied to keep vehicle for 1 day for observation. but i was not agreed for that. then i met their manager, he replied it is not my responsibility (Mr. Singh). right now i m not able to open my pleasure's seat lock. i was also get a problem when i have purchased it. For 1 day observation i m not agreed because i have no time for that i did service on saturday when i have holiday and sunday the service station have holiday.
