ALL 8 ATTENDENT OF ACBOGIE OF TRAIN WERE ILLEGALLY ON DUTY.
ALL WAS HAVING ILLEGAL IDENTITY CARDS - WHICH WAS EXPIRED ON 31ST AUG 2012 .
EVERY THING WAS ILLEGAL.
TC WAS ALSO SHOCKED .
WRITTEN COMPLAINT SUBMIYYED TO TC NO 48821 DTD 14.10.2012
SUPERVISOR OF ALL ATTENDENT WAS ALSO NOT KNOWING THE ILLEGAL I CARDS
CST OFFICERS HAS REFUSED TO PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT .
ALL PASSENGERES WERE UNDER THREAT & IN SECURED POSITIONS
ALL WERE UNSAFE.
RAILWAY POLICE OFFICERS WERE ALOS INFORMED . BUT NOBODY HAS SUPPORTED .
VERY BAD SITUATION.
LIFE OF ALL PASSENGERS WERE UNDER THREAT.
INDIAN RAILWAYS , VERY CASUAL APPROACH BY ALL OFFICERS.
PL NOTE THE SITUATION AND TAKE PROPER ACTION AGAINST ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFICERS .
REMOVE THEM FROM EMPLOYMENT .
ALSO PL COMPENSATE TO ALL PASSENGERS EACH BY PAYING RS 5/- AS COMPENSATION , BY CHEQUE FOR NON PROVIDEING TOWEL NAPKENES .
AND ALSO TRY TO IMPROVE SERVICES.
ILLEGAL BOGIE ATTENDENTS IS THE GR8 JOKE .
WILL U PL TAKE PROMPT LEGAL ACTION WITHH ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFICERS .

      Yesterday, at about 11 AM, I went to reserve a ticket (Train No. & Name: 12338; Shantiniketan Express (Bolpur-Howrah); Date of Journey: 25/10/2012; Class: ACC; No. of Seats – 2) at the Dum Dum Cantonment Computerized Railway Ticket Reservation counter (Counter No. 5). Regretfully saying that I left the address slot blank in the application form. At the ticket wicket the reservation clerk rudely said, "যাও! ঠিক করে ফিলআপ করে এসো" (“Go and fill it up completely!”). She was so furious that she crossed the boundary of etiquette ("এসো”). In addition, she went coarse against another passenger craving for a requisition form.

      I did not say anything as I was mistaken. I filled in the form, stood in the queue, and went down to the waiting list. She asked, "নেবে?" (“Would you like?”). I said, “No, thanks”.

      Kindly request her to say anything in a down and respectable tone unless a passenger or anyone else behaves wrongly. Our mother tongue, Bengali, is replete with respectable utterances like “যান, আসুন, নেবেন?” etc. Even the ways of saying "যাও, এসো, নেবে?" should carry the minimum bilabial honour. These are the primordial features of behaviour that a human being should walk with from womb to tomb.

      Indian Railway — Bad Behaviour From Railway Booking Clerck

      I went to book three tickets from Sonarpur Station Reservation Counter. Booking clerck Behaved very badly with me. I checked with IRCTC web site and found lots of tickets were available so I asked for the seat of my choice but the booking clerck refused to give me the same. Later on I came to know that he is involved with some booking agencies to whom he issues better position tickets for some extra money.
      Even I have seen some rail ticket booking agents inside the booking counter.

        cholan express is a day train. starts chennai 8.15 a.m reaches tiruchy 16.35 p.m. and on return journey starts tiruchy 9.35 a.m reaches chennai 17.50 p.m. so it is a hundred percent day time train. but originally it was running up to kumbakonam etc and there was sleeper coaches attached to it. but it runs up to tiruchy now. but the sleeper coaches are there and extra cost is plucked out from the passengers. railway may think that Indians are always sleepy and they will sleep even during day time. but we are blabbering on other side that we are going to become super power country soon. if rules are there that for changing coaches etc railway will have to get permission from ministry like that change that rules it self. don't say that we have to get permission from world health organisation W.H.O and World Bank and United Nations Organisation U.N.O.

          Sir,
          We are the regular passenger of Howrah to Katwa division.Every day we board UP 37745 to reach our destinations .Though the train scheduled to reach Katwa at 10.35 a.m but it hardly reaches in time.Similarly we board down 37750 from Katwa which scheduled to reach Bandel at 20.10p.m.Since one months it running 1&half hour late every night.Every day down Jangipur-Shealdah Passenger train comes to Katwa at 16.55 p.m and every day Katwa division allows this train to run in front of down 37750 local which getting it late.Then is problem with crossing,when a UP or down get into side line and waits another Up/Down train to come, it easily can reach next Station by this time and trere is no problem to do that.But for unknown reason every day in Dainhat,Agradeep,Patuli this train waits for 20-30 mints.ON the other hand if Late Jangipur-Shealdah Passenger leaves Katwa after down 37750 Bandel Katwa local then it will help the passenger to get linked trains in Bandel.For the passenger down 37552 Bandel-Naihati leaves at 20.30 p.m which can be easily boarded by the passenger by down 37750 Katwa-Bandel local.but due to late running of the train the passenger facing problem to catch down 37552 Bandel-Naihati local.Some times it causing problem to catch 37554dwn Ban-Naihati local.But if it runes in time then there is three(3) options open for the passengers.First 37752,then Jangipur-Shealdah passenger,if extreme condition 37554.On the other hand for UP 37745 Bandel Katwa local if time of crossing in Guptipara/kalna and in Agradeep/Patuli could be shorten then the train could reach Katwas on time .This is the small request as a passenger we have to make.Please listen to our need.Please do the need ful.

            T.S. Krishna murthy- My mobile no. is [protected] and e mail id is [protected]@ yahoo.com. Some months back i had tried registering with IRCTC. I have forgotten my user id & password. Further the OTP sent in mobile is not known to me and confirmation of the same was not received in my said email. I am trying to register with IRCTC again but every time it sends a message that my mobile no is registered with IRCTC. However with OTP on mobile & Confirmation id in my email I am not able to proceed further. I do not understand why the IRCTC has not simplified the Regn. process. Kindly help in getting through my registration with IRCTC for easy booking of tickets.

              I had to transport my bike from sambalpur to Bhubbneswar via train. But now a days it is most costly and much more corruption is inhibited to railway department. In the process of Bike booking.
              1) there were private labor for packaging the bike who take much more money. No govt. labor were present for packaging the bike.
              2) I had booked the bike with appropriate charge but when i came to receive my bike i had to give more charge on receiving the bike due to default of the transporting department in sending the bike with trains.
              3) At the time of vehicle investigation , the investigator( Railway police) had taken the charge for investigation.
              4) The transporting department officer is also taking some extra charge for transportation.
              Now a days these type of corruption is increasing day to day. It should be banned. It demobilize the present youth and show negative attitude, behavior towards other and acts as a virus which help in spreading corruption in India. It should be banned.

                  I am parth kumar.i had booked a ticket(irctc.com) on 16 June 2012 from Hatidah jn to Kolkata jn
                  ,but due to train late more than three hours as told by railway enquiry,i had filed tdr for that ticket at that time.but till now the money has been not refunded.i have filed the tdr on 17 June.it is about 98 days.

                    I had made an online reservation of two tickets on journey on 25th of september 2012. later on i had cancelled it due to some personal reason.
                    i had got a message that the amount will be refunded. but still the amount has not yet been refunded.

                    sir,
                    myself vishnu s kedia was to travel from gondia to surat by train no. 2834 via ticket having PNR[protected] on 3/5/2008.
                    the train got delayed by 4 hours and i had to cancell my journey through that train & arranged my journey by another trains breaking through at bhusaval jn. My TDR no.regarding the above mentioned case is 403941. On july 31, 08 i received refund order from Chief Comm. Manager, Central Rlwy, Mumbai for half the claimed amount.
                    Please help me in getting the full refund.

                      I Boarded the train no 14322 from Bhuj to Bareilly on 18th Sept'12. I took my seat in B1 compartment 15 minutes before departure. To my shock I found lot of cockroaches and couple of rats running around in the compartment. To this I complained to the attendent in uniform on the station. He directed me to Jr. Engineer. When I complained to him, he said, he will try to do it now otherwise something will be done in next station at Gandhidham. I was not satisfied with this reply as there was still some time for departure of the train. So I went and met Station Manager. I said that immediately action will be taken and got it announced also. But still no action was taken and the train started. Again I complained regarding the same to attendent. He said that nothing can be done in this regard. To this I asked for the complaint register. He replied that it will be available with TC who will board the train from Gandhidham. Even in Gandhidham I tried to locate the TC and file the complaint but still I am not able to locate him. Instead of a peaceful journey in AC Compartment, this has become a irritating and shocking journey for me till now. And the worse part is even the attendents are casual and irresponsible in their approach. I hope the necessary authorities will take immediate necessary action so that atleast other passengers in future do not face such agony.

                        I booked my house hold goods (7 Boxes - properly packed, Sealed & having address sticker of Mr. Bhuwan Ranjan Arya, Kathauliya west, PO- Birahima Bazar, Dist Muzaffarpur, Bihar- 843127) from Gandhidham BG Jn to Patna on 15th September 2012 via train no- 15667 (Gandhidham - Kamakhya exp.) on the train ticket PNR no- [protected] (Passenger name- Pankaj / My Brother) & bill no- C901309.
                        The parcels were loaded at Gandhidham but after reaching to the Patna when we moved to the parcel office we socked to know that the parcels were not unloaded from the train. The parcel officer (at Patna) told us to wait for atleast 2-3 days more to get the parcels. He also refused to take any complain against this mishappening / negnligence.
                        I am a worrking proffessional & from Patna I have to move for Banglore for my next assignment. No body at Patna Parcel office is listening me.

                          I am atul s tumane asst professor in engineering college. Yesterday(16 sept 2012) when I was traveling in sewagram express ticket collector of s-7 boggy react with me in very rude manner. Yesterday I was in mumbai for my sr section engineer railway exam and I had railway free pass for second class sleeper(in between mumbai to nagpur).But Tc of that coach snatched my railway pass with admit card without any explanation.And when I landed at jalgaon railway station there I have to pay 320 rs. Because I had no ticket. I want Justice for this issue. i want to complain against that Tc who snaTch my admit card with no reason.

                          Indian Railway — Misbehave from TC

                          This about my elder brother who was travelling from bangalore to berhampur on 24th July 2008 in Prsanthy express. It was unfortunately he was carrying the duplicate of his ID proof, which was mentioned in the E-ticket.

                          For that reason TC was asking for Rs900/- which is almost double of the ticket value. When he shows his inability to pay, the TC abused him and threatened to handover to railway dept on next dept. I dont understand is it matter that they need ID proof or exact that ID proof. Why the other ID proof cannot suffice - that he is the valid person to journey with the ticket and its no way fraud.

                          He was repeatedly saying that even if Railway minister Lalu's phone will come, he is not going entertain. Does railway not teach them the customer care sense. Simply redeculous.

                          And the name of the TC is L. Mana Janat.

                          i would like to complainrt up on me who was not suitable to work in src. he was treating physically challened passengers. in krishna express one seat is reserved for physically handicapped but this tc was even selling away the same for the sum of 30rs.this is the reason that made me to ask the tc why he was throwing away that person not only me 2 more lady with social responsibility also asked the tc for same but inspite of that he manhandeled me and those two ladys im providing the total details of the jorney

My bag was kept on my seat and I concentrated to note down phone no in notebook. Suddenly I noticed that my bag was theft by unidentified person. I kept forty thousand (40000) cash and twenty five thousands (25000) jewellery on that bag.

                            Indian Railways — for the cleanliness of travelling kit

                            Recently I travelled from Visakhapatnam(AP) to New Delhi in Dakshin Link Express in AC3 tier coach.
                            The blankets, bedsheets and pillows provided were in very poor condition. the blankets were not washed from last 2 years and were smelling like hell. pillow covers and bedsheets were also dirty, moreover pillows did not had enough cotton inside.
                            If a passenger is paying a big sum of tickets then he should be provided with the relevant facilities.
                            So, here I request you to take necessary steps in the direction.

                              i have ticket waiting list an booked irctc 8th dec 2011 from ltt to durg 31 dec 2011 journey date train departure time 20:35 from ltt this train was late 8:30 hours late and next day 4:00 am departure my ticket update 2:00 am yours ticket conform i was check by Internet in 1:30 am but not showing this tkt conform so i was tdr 1st jan 2012 11:00am. and 9 month latter this ticket refeund 50% money my pnr [protected] 3tkt fare 1113 rupees and refund 555 rupees this is fraud by Indian railways of public and rule is very pour service.

                                I had booked a ticket from Mumbai to Howrah vide PNR No. [protected] and Transaction ID [protected] for my wife and children. the date of journey was 2/5/12. but when on 1/5/12 the chart was prepared, out of 3 tickets only one ticket was under RAC and rest two tickets were under waiting. so I filed TDR on 1/5/12 after preparation of chart vide no.ekt[protected]. but the same still shows as under process and the money is not yet refunded.

                                  PNR No. [protected],, This was E-ticket booked thru IRCTC website online. Journey date 09/06/2012
                                  I had not traveled on this ticket & filed TDR online on 13/06/2012.
                                  TDR Ref No. :ekt[protected].

                                  But I rcvd below mail from IRCTC on 7th Aug & reason was

                                  Ticket was not surrendered within 12 hour after departure of train

                                  But for E-ticket TDR can be filed within thirty day of Dep. Of train as per Railway Rules.

                                    On Sunday, 2nd Sep 2012, I swiped the ATVM card for a 20/- Ticket to Burdwan at 4:10AM. The print didnot come out. My Balance was deducted. I went to the ticket counter asked about the ATVM machine, the person said the person on ATVM duty wont be in till 6:00 AM. I had to catch a train to Burdwan immediately as I had beed travelling for last two days. I could not wait for the counter to resolve at 6:00 AM. So I bought a ticket from the ticket counter and reached burdwan. At Barddhaman railway station I enquired about the same, they said they wont be able to do anything and I need to go to Howrah station. This seems ridiculous. Why do they not have an access to the database and see which ticket has been swiped and card not printed?
                                    Why do I have to go to howrah to get this settled/refund?

                                    IT IS A GREAT FACILITY OF ATVM CARD FROM INDIAN RAILWAY... BUT, CAN WE RECHARGE THE ATVM CARD ONLINE...? (ARUN MUKHI, JHARSUGUDA, ODISHA, INDIA.)
                                    On Wednesday, 13th March 2013, I had swiped the ATVM card for a 35/- Ticket to Andal Junction at 0:40 (12:40 ) AM. The print didnot come out. My Balance was deducted. I went to the ticket counter asked about the ATVM machine, the person said the person on ATVM duty wont be in till 6:00 AM. I had to catch a train to Andal Junction immediately beacsue my tarin time was 1:50 AM. I could not wait for the counter to resolve at 6:00 AM. So I bought a ticket from the ticket counter and catched up the train at 1:50 AM and reached my distination. This seems ridiculous. Why do they not have an access to the database and see which ticket has been swiped and card not printed?
                                    Why do I have to go to howrah to get this settled/refund?

                                    My ATVM card number is :- ER0004335 .

                                    Previous card balance was :- 157/- after dedcut the amount my balance is 122/- . Without getting any facility from railway I have paid Rs. 35/- .

                                    Please have a look at this matter and I need this money back which is dedcuted from railway fault .
                                    MY SMART CARD NO. IS ER0096726, ON[protected], I RECHARGED OF RS 150/- AND PREVIOUS PLUS PRESENT BALANCE RS. 240 MORE, AFTER THAT I USED IT FOR A SEASON ( FROM CHINSURAH TO BALLYGUNGE) TICKET AT 9.20 PM BUT THE PROBLEM WAS MY TICKET WAS NOT PRINTED BUT AMOUNT WAS DEDUCTED, NOW WHO IS SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, SO PLS. TELL ME THE SOLUTION OF MY PROBLEM, MY MOBILE NO. [protected]

                                      As I m dem sure that when all doors are closed and when there is no option left to solve our grievances only and only you people are there working hardly just to solve our problem not of thinking for your own profit.
                                      I'm pleased to inform you that Indian railway are not on a mood to even reply for my plenty no of mails to all the department of railway board to refund my 2 ticket balance booked for Mangalore jn. to Delhi jn. which is not cancelled by the misguidenced by railway enquire people.

                                      The matter is that at udupi jn.

                                      telling the wrong cancellation time for ticket they said at 8 am when
                                      window open
                                      till 12 noon u can cancelled your ticket we follow that and time was
                                      before 7:50am at mangalore jn at counter people said u are late by 10

                                      By guidance of complaint department officer at Mangalore central The original ticket which was not cancelled with a letter we send by
                                      speep post to given address from complaint officer to division commercial mngr refunds ,palghat ,kerala.
                                      After a month from palghat railway department an letter comes to us informing us that you should file tdr against uncanclled ticket.
                                      But when I asked in Mangalore central the complaint officer said there is no provision to file tdr in your case, u only should do the original ticket with request letter courier to division commercial manager palghat for refund your 5000 rupees
                                      So u are requested to take a prompt decision to refund our money

                                      Indian Railway-Pune Division — Only one window open for ticket.

                                      Respected sir/madam,

                                      My name is Jyotsna Kadam. I travel from lonavala to pune on every monday, So I don't have pass.
                                      I have to buy ticket. But I always seeing one problem on lonavala station that only one ticket window is open. It cause problem for so many people, even for old people also. People have to stand for long time in queue even when train is about to go. Because of this, people miss their trains. I have seen this happen always between 6.45a.m. to 7.30a.m. It's a time of Sinhgarh express and local from lonavala to pune. Because this those who get late for train try to cross railway track and sometimes people go without ticket. So I think to stop this you have to open second ticket window also. So atleast people and our Indian railways should not suffer.

Railway authorities adviced to file TDR within 48 hour on the phone conversation,with in 24 hour i had filed T D R. But till the date of today i have not recieved my money.                                       Indian Railway — Refund of Ticket money

                                      I purchased a Railway Ticket no. J 17297404 for a journey from Jamnagar to Udaipur on 16 Jul 2010 at 1303 hours. On reaching Ahmedabad, it was told that the Udaipur express bound for Ahmedabad to Udaipur is cancelled for a week. I approached Window No. 7 at Ahmedabad. Mr. IJ Bhatt told that I cannot get the refund from Ahmedabad or I have to go to Jamnagar to get the refund. I mate Station master but no proper response. I went to Himatnagar railway station (where the Udaipur bound train terminated) to get the refund, Station Master Mr. CJ Lal and Mr. Sharma Ticket Booking clerk behaved very rudely used abusive language and told no refund get lost from here. Finally I approached Jamnagar for refund but it was told I cannot get refund from here. For this I spent Rs. 5235/- apart from lot of harassment and mental torturing. Please arrange the refund due cancellation of train plus the Rs. 5235/-.

                                        I approached Gangtok Railway reservation counter on 01 Seo 12 for a reservation on 12505 NE Express on 06 Sep 12 from NJP to Allahabad and onward reservation from Allahabad to Jabalpur on 07 Sep 12. However the person on duty refused to do the reservation stating that the reservation for onward journey is not permissible.I would like to know under what rule is this refusal valid
