Disappointed with my recent experience with Indigo Airlines.
On my recent travel from Shirdi to Chandigarh via Delhi (6E2273 & 6E2194 on 12.1.25), I checked in my luggage in good condition. Upon collection at Chandigarh, the handle was badly broken. To make matters worse, the ground staff not only refused to take responsibility but also rudely dismissed my concerns, stating I had handed over a damaged bag.
When I persisted, they justified the damage by saying that “many bags are loaded together, and belt size is limited, so such things happen.â€
Is this the level of care and accountability expected from a leading airline? Should passengers now take pictures of their luggage at check-in to avoid being dismissed this way?
