On 19th july, 2013, mr. Dinesh dixit - cell no. [protected] (From bangalore?) called me for payment verification. He explained me that in
2012 - 13 year, irda cancelled insurance agent commission, irda had saved rs. 146c. Irda decided to distribute this amount among some selected policy holders. I was selected among them and gave me a 'imc code'. He asked me not to reveal from where did i get the number. According to mr. Dinesh dixit irda sent a document by speed post 3 months, 11 days before and i refused to accept rs. 270000 / - and issued authority letter to neeraj verma, chandigarh to deposit this handsome amount in bank of india, (Account no.[protected] . For more details, he has asked to contact mr. Rakesh bajaj, deputy director - irda (Cell no. [protected]) to register complaints. So i contacted mr. Bajaj, he asked me to issue check of rs. 62940 payable to any insurance company. After depositing this amount, after 45 days, rs. 270000 / - will be deposited to my bank account.
I checked at the website of irds, there is no name of rakesh bajaj at a post of deputy director.

Friends i got lucky that i sensed the wrong doing on time and did not shared my account details but may more people have suffered due to the group. Even i feel insecure as i have shared my contact details with them. This seemed to be a very organized network who is executing these fake calls with great planning. I have checked that there are so many more similar complaints. I would request you to take this matter on most urgent basis and bring perpetrators to justice.

Please be aware of these cheats..... Today I also got a call from Neha Patel ..... same Neeraj sharma story ...... same Manju Arora ...... Rakesh Bajaj..... Told me to take a Royal Club memebership of 24999 /- X 2 coupons , by which my NGO memebership will be activated . Also told me story of how Shahrukh khan converts his black money to white Money thru NGO. Please .... Please .....all..... stay away from any schemes which gives you quick money .

I received a phone call from Mr Rakesh Bajaj claiming to be from IRDA , phone: [protected], who stated that there was an unclaimed amount in the life insurance of my late husband. He stated all the correct details and wanted me to send my address proof and PAN details. When I checked on the website of IRDA there is indeed a Rakesh Bajaj who is the Joint Director. I therefore sent my details to the address provided: IRDA, 2nd floor, U/74,...

I recieved a call from IRDA verification department stating theat the bonus for the insuarance policyhas been authorized ot mr. Neeraj sharma, I asked them to send me the authorization documents tha tstated that I have authrized Neeraj Sharma to take hte benifits . The ladt name Kavita sharma who called stated that I haveto visit their Hyderabad office and meet mr . RAjiv Bajaj. Any ways I am not sharing any infoirmation wit hthe person calling . My only question is from where they get the information about the policies. Is the database been compromised anor thee is data breach. I am only concerned about my policy and personal details are safw and secure..

I received a call from a lady posing as irda official. she said that I have a bonus of 319000 against my sbi policy. she had all the confedential details of my policy. so I fell into her trap. she said in order to claim the bonus I have to invest rs25000 in reliance life policy. then she asked me to invest another rs25000 and another rs30000 saying that another bonus of 262000 is also pending. and I received the policy documents but no bonus proceedings till date. the details of the calling persons are as follows-

both of these said that they are from irda, Mumbai.

please look into the matter closely. how can the employees of irda can do this fraud? and if they are not from irda how come they have all the details of our policies???

I got a call from irda verification department, from Rakesh Bajaj ([protected]) –he didn’t pick the call) and many other people (/[protected]/[protected]/[protected] the number is switched off) on behalf of me is releasing some funds of rs. 2,25,000 in his own Indian bank account. They are saying that the document is duely signed by me. So, to claim the amount please calls mr. Rakesh bajaj (some officer in irda) to cancel the request made by neeraj sharma. They also gave me thne complaint reg. No. And IMC(insurance membership code) no. .

They are claiming this amount is granted against the rule passed in 2010 to stop the commission of the agents. They are saying that your policy is registered for this and so we are calling from verification department.

For taking this benefit I have purchased two policies in reliance life insurance before 3 Month but we still I didn’t received any benefit regarding the same also. Please check the below details.

I got call from mb no. [protected] (saying name miss Kanchan Singh)from verification deptt of irda that I have got scholarship from irda as rs 225000.00, but any mr. Neeraj sharma wants to transact this amount with authorization letter.
If you want to stop the payment, please confirm & give the details and submitt an amount of rs 52500 for 3 month 11 days as a security. After that u can release the amount and given the registration no. And IMC code and do't disclose it to any person.

I am holding a policy with BHARTi AXA and I paid only ONE premium.

Today approximately at 4.05 p.m. I got a call at my mob no. [protected] from above landline no.[protected] and the person said that he is calling from IRDA's complaint deptt and asked me whether I want a REFUND from the above policy then I said yes then he gave me a complained number also and told me that somebody else will also call me regarding the REFUND.

Then at about 4-10 one more call received from a Mob no. Mob no. [protected] he said that he is RAJIV Agwarwal calling from IRDA complaint Deptt and has asked me to deposit Rs. 19500.00 and my ID proofs if want REFUND from the BHARTI AXA Policy.

Then I asked him to send me an e-mail requesting to sumbit the same money, then he said CHUTIA samjha hai kya mere ko and immediately he statred ABUSING me.

1. Is IRDA people behave like this if not then who they are?
2. How they know insurance peoples DATABASE?? , which available only with your department or with the insurance companies.

Kindly look in to this matter.

I would like to add an experience of receiving phone call from New delhi phone to receive Reliance Insurance policy Bonus.

Names pretending as callers from IRDA: Shruti jain.Sanjana Sharma,Khushi Sharma.

Phone numbers for tracing : [protected] & [protected].

Please do the needful to punish the criminals so that they do not support similar plans in the future.

This spoils the name of Indian Capital à specifically north Indians.(based on names posed and location of phone-calls received).Urgent action expected!

sir,i am getting recent calls from this number -[protected] ,[protected]..asking for personal information and then if disturbing mentally by using abusive languages...please take some necessary against this number...its all about the security of my personal information....

I have received a call saying that they are calling from IRDA and they told for your existing SIB policy you have to pay 40,000 ₹ or else it will get eplased, i have paid them 40,000 ₹ and i have receive a new policy of Reliance life which i have not applicaed for.

Note: they had complete infomation of my SBI life policy which is confidetial, that why i got trapped.

I tried to find out it was some "VMA Well Character Company" not sure who cheated me. below are name and number of persons from whome i received the calls:

My Self Atul Sharma and i am working in IT organization in Noida and i am from MuzaffarNagar (UP). I have a call from Neha Agrwal last December 2011 according to her she is working as Senior member in IRDA Delhi. According to her I will get a bonus of at-least Rs. 265200/- for the insurance policy that I had taken few years back from Birla Sun Life Insurance. So far I have to invest Rs. 250000/- to Rs. 300000/- (Approx)

From last couple of months her assistant Aditi Mehra also communicated with regarding this and as per her I will get my all bonus amount and my reward bonus with my all invested money with interest (Rs. 750000/- Approx) also including one 2 BHK DDA Flat in Delhi. But now from last 3 weeks she did not pick my call and not answering any call and did not provide the Office address.

Also i have noticed that if I call from my phone number then she or her assistant did not pick up my call and if i call any new number then call picked by any other Man and after tell let him know my name - Atul Sharma, then he cut my phone.

Got a call from Delhi[protected] posing themselves as Insurance Verification department. They promised 2.25 lacs as bonus ,provided I pay 67K as security fee. I rejected this offer.

It seems Netambit & some insurance companies share confidential & personal information with these fraud companies.
IRDA needs to act on this immediately .

Hi My name is Pradeep and i received call from a Number[protected] claiming that this is IRDA agent. I name of the person was Rohit or Rajesh Pawar. I do not remember the same correctly. I received the call at 2.42 pm on 13th July 2012. He started asking me about my Insurance policies policy nos. I was not sure about the caller so i told him i cannot provide this information until and unless i do not have authenticity for the same. Then the call center executive started using foul words and abusive language.

I tried calling back on the same number but no one responded. Then in the evening i called back again to check who was the person, but this time a lady took the call and i asked her to connect me to their TL. Their TL named Tanvi Patil took the call and after listening to the incident she also denied to tell me the name of the person and instantly disconnected the call. I tried calling back again but again this time nobody picked up the call and nobody is answering.

I want to understand who shall take action against these type of callers. Please get into the same punish the person who uses abusive languages with clients.

Pleasae send Rs 30000/- Vat & other tax, then release , Mr Kothari & Rishabh tripathi say , Your benefit release 10-15 days.
