In regards to the below ref number for Kotak bank credit card complaints.

1416999 - raised on 19th Aug'19 and 20th Aug'19

1423315 - raised on 22nd Aug'19

1426090 - raised on 24th Aug'19

I am Using Kotak Mahindra bank credit card for more than 2.5 years and maintaining the good CIBIL score by doing the payment on time for my every bill since the usage of a credit card.

I have paid more than the minimum bill for the last month's bill then after they have been charged the interest amount, I have written many emails them but every time a different Representative is giving the solution with the same content in solution email (just copy-pasted). They know only how to charge the money from the customer but they don't know how to resolve the customer problem.

I would like to advise all who read this message NOT TO GO with Kotak Mahindra Bank any credit card and you will be in trouble by just paying the interest charges for 1-day delay payment after paying the minimum amount.

There are many banks who not levied any charges for late payment for 1 or 2 days or a week, they will have a grace period to have a chance for every customer. I have many credit cards using with (RBL, HDFC, AXIS, CITI, AND STANDARD CHARTED) I didn't face any penalty issues with these bank cards.

I only want to use the credit card when there is no issue like other banks who deals with.

I advise to all people not to use the Kotak Credit card and not even take any loans they will suck your blood.

I would like to stop my credit card to use further. I can go with other options.

If my problem is not resolved, then I will expand my comments on entire social media and consumer forums.

This is my hard-earned money, don't charge people unnecessarily.

They have just marked the complaint as resolved, but not happened anything. I don't know how could they do this. I should get the solutions, I have wasted much time writing these complaints. They have to resolve the issue for the customer.

    This is mg parmesh i have many times complaint to customer care no one is responding for complaint without my permission they they charged 1699 last year and this year too
    Many times i was called to them no is solving my problem so kindly resolve this from your end
    That customer care people are also very rude i want to close all these plan no one is helping me when i called to kotak customer care they are giving another department number when i try to call which is related to card protection plan department they not even giving proper response still i am sticked with policy kindly close this plan as soon as possible

      I have received a mail stating my a/c is freezed due to name mismatch. Really bad experience got a mail without informing about the solution also the reason why i opted is because i am not able to visit branch now it has become a headache for me
      I never thought i will have a such a experience

        Hi, i have deposited money on 16th august through citrus pay link post the kyc, the money is still not credited to the account as of 19th august.

        Is this the faster service of a digital account

        The call center person says you have to wait 2 working days to register a official complaint.

        Post 2 days the person has to call phonebanking unit everyday to remind them of the complaint.

        Is that how the 811 account operates?? And by the way does this post count as a complain to take care of the money i had deposited

          I had raised a complaint of my jet airways refund with kotak as they played the agent role here in the booking of my flight tickets, and called them for status update but they place my cal on hold and never return. My card was charged and kotak app was where i booked my tickets from, yet no services given to me for my refund. And on top of it they are behaving this way

              Dear sir,
              The executive came to my office for account opening. It is a saving account.
              At the time of account opening i was told that i can switch to zero balance account from minimum balance of 10, 000 anytime i want. But now he is telling me that i will have to maintain the balance for a month. The name of the executive is anil and he was showing unethical behavior when asked to switch. Also the bank is charging me for quarterly basis. The complaint was lodged with the company and they took a decision for waving the charges. However i am receiving the messages to pay the charges on regular basis. Please provide me with the solution as i want to close my account urgently.

              Amount of 1498.84 at 9/aug/19 16:11 hours had been deducted and i received the msg of transaction, as soon as possible i received the msg i blocked my services of cards and net banking . Called customer care and informed them, hope so it get resolved and get the money back. Govt should take in the consideration of such unauthorized transactions.

                Hi, this is my journey with kotak mahindra.

                I am using this account for a long time, i initially had a salary account with saving account and later i got an option to take credit card from kotak with a limit of 16k. I purchased a mobile phone and cleared all the dues everything went fine till this stage. I used the card and paid the minimum amount, i never checked statements nothing i simply opened the app and paid the amount. What else can a person do when he didn't know anything about credit card and how it works, because none explained things all i was asked to do was sign.. I paid and made regular payments used card and this happened for at least 2 to 3 years.. I trusted kotak so i never went back checking for the statements, i made payments on time without any miss.. The moment i got my salary, first thing i did was credit payment.. You will get to know this when you would see my transactions. After years i see that my die amount is same and not reducing, i convinced myself saying that it is because of my usage may be... I just kept paying and using the card.

                Even after making the payments on time, i got calls from kotak for payments... Everytime i used to inform them that i'll make the payment when i'll get my salary.in a day i use to get like 5-6 calls for the payments like after mid month everyday i got calls for payment and all the time i attended calls and told them same thing all over again... It is frustrating for a person to attend calls multiple times and tell them same thing all over again... I use to get call at 7 am, they don't see time they just called for payment, this was very upsetting for me.. I use to be in important sessions and meetings and kotak guys call me... Even after paying on time i had to face such inconvenience from kotak... I wanted to complain about this, i asked for a supervisors on call they disconnected the call with sarcastic and threatening statements. This happened for few months.. It was soo much frustrating for me... I was loosing my patience. This continued….

                For some reason i checked the statement once on the app before making the payment i saw an amount charged with said excess usage... I got to know about this charge like 7-8 months back (When i last made my payment). Till this time i didn't even know that i can use the card beyond the limit i always thought that i can only use the card only till my limit... I saw this charge and alot of charges where applied for me from a long time.. I got calls from kotak, i asked for a statement from start to till date so that i get clarity.. Everyone promised but none send statement…

                One fine day i got a call from a kotak employee who said that he is from kotak mg road branch.. I thought, this person was the right one to talk to... So i explained everything... This person promise to send the statement to me, as usual nothing happened... Every month from there on i got calls from kotak mg road everyone just said we will send statement no one did... I do have call recordings too… after few months one manager again from mg road branch called, i was frustrated with these guys i just told on call "i do not like your # service, its pathetic because no one is there to help, you promise but do nothing". Just for that one word "#", ge started abusing me and spoke # about my parents too, i just kept quite and tried making him understand, because the person on the call sounded like an old man.. I apologized and explained things again from the scratch (This was like the 4th or 5th time i am explaining). At the end he said i will send u statement took my email id and contact number and promised that he will follow up with my case and will get to a settlement of 10-15 k, i agreed and told once i get complete clarity i will make the payment... I told don't have problem in paying it's just that i wanted clarity..

                As usual this person didn't turn up nor an email was sent to me…

                I got a call again from another employee next month i told i have explained and there's someone who is working on it.. They said ok we will check.. No one turned up

                This happened for few months…

                2 months back i got a call from a manager and when i asked for the statement he started abusing me like so much #, he was threatening me on call that he will come and take me along with me.. I was really unethical and unprofessional. All this while kotak promised me to share the statement now these guys say, " don't talk about the past now, i don't want to know what happened to you who promised what, i just need payment" i get calls and they are threatening me alot… i feel insecure for the calls and the way they talk... They say we will track u down follow u and talk so much # about my parents…

                No one heard and understand from my end all they know is mentally harassing people and threatening them. Its so much upsetting for me.. I had so many other things to do instead of attending kotak calls.. I lost my job too just because i was disturbed by the calls. And now because of kotak i was rejected by a company as the cibil score is screwed…

                No one till date tried resolving my issue... Today i am jobless because of kotak.. My family so many other issues and financially hampered... Kotak must understand that i was one of the source of income at my home, today i am jobless with no money.. I skip my meals and eat once a day because i am jobless… nothing worse can happen to a person than this. These guys left me with nothing but depression... I would blame kotak for things happening with my life.

                  fake call for cvv number

                  Received a call from +[protected] asking about all the credit card details. She already got it but again she contact me for cvv number.

                  I again call them and asked who are they. The became active and cut my call. Again i call 2-3 times within a minute and a man picked up told me i don't know about any lady and you might receive a wrong number. He cut my call. I again call 2-3 times and again a man picked up and told i don't...

                  I have credit card bill outstanding,. I booked flexipay to pay by emi, actually the due date is[protected]. But the banking persons continually giving calls from 06-08-19. We know the due date and know how to pay. If the customer didnt paid the amount on 12-08-19. Then you can give calls to them. Its highly irritating me and i need to cancel my credit card right now.                   I got my credit card statement. I found 500 auto debit has happened in last 2 statement. When I saw this in a statements I just got shocked because my auto debit service is disabled from app than also this bank takes charges and I have called them and say about this any I got replied that you service is activated.

                    I am receiving phone calls from the recovery department continuously, they are harassing me by calling in my office every minute, i am not the customer of this bank nor i have taken any loan from this bank, still they are harassing me. They are using abusing language on the phone, disturbing my peace, lying about me and spoiling my reputation. I can sue the bank for defamation and mental harassment. Please ask the collections department to be professional. They are using this filthy way to recover the money, this is disgusting, annoying and i will never ever in my life will be the customer of kotak bank after this incident.

                      Hi, i paid for kotak credit card 2 times and the excess amount was showing in my credit card, when i got to know about the excess amount, i thought to use that excess amount but when i used the card it shows blocked. Then i call to customer care and they said that my card is blocked by local branch without my consent.in such case i ask for the refund. Then they said to upload the documents like transaction from banks and other to process the refund i uploaded all required documents mentioned by them. But after 2 days they saying we need another dicument cancel cheque, i uploaded the same and its going almost one month since one month i am doing the same activity. Very pathetic customer service fraud bank and there irritating emails as from noreply. If a customer delay the payment they make 100 calls in a day but if a customer is chasing for his rrlefund there is always a email please contact from you registered email ud or contact number. What to say them there agents are giving cards in big bazar without email and contact number registered and they are asking about registered email or contact.

                        I have fund transferred Rs. 7, 000/- date 31/07/2019 from my Kotak Account [protected] to PNB Account [protected]. I have complained many times to Kotak Bank and Customer Care Team have confirmed that amount have been credited to PNB Account. Reference ID is[protected]. Eight days have passed but the amount did not received in the PNB Account.

                          I have not received any credit card from your bank i am receiving mails for due payment of rs.316.2 for a couple of days. I am not using your credit card so why i should pay this amount. So i request you please cancel my credit card with immediate effect. I have also filed a complaint in kotak mahindra bank (Preet vihar branch) regarding this issue. Please do the needful and sort out this issue as soon as possible

                              I am getting calls from kotak mahindra bank recovery agency from [protected] this number.
                              They are asking to pay loan amount which was in citi finance, now its kotak bank. But he said your father taken this loan please forward the message to call them. Every time they calling non stop on my companies number. I had received the call and tell them please give us loan no. They did not provide any information. They saying anything on call. She called my husband's office also please check this and help me out what should i do.

                              My father already paid the loan, why to repay again for this. How can i trust her or kotak agency?

                              Same thing's happening with me right now. Some advocate is calling me that my father has taken loan in 2003 and not repaid. But when I checked it with my father he said it's cleared back in that with City Finance itself not sure why Kotak is calling now for the same. I don't know how they got my number. I am 10 years old when father took the loan.
                              Can you help me with what resolution was provided for you so that it can be helpful for me.

                                Dear sir/madam.
                                Your bank was charg me ₹.118 which i not required service.
                                But i haven't asked for any such statements from bank either by visiting branch or through net banking.
                                And when i opened account bank said their is no charges of online or esttment.

                                So i need clarification from bank or reverse my ₹118 to my account. As it can be clearly seen in the screenshot attached with this mail that i have charge. Kindly explan to me the reason for the leving of this charges and refund me the charges hence wrongfully debited to my account.

                                  TBMS charges are applied in my account without prior information. As muly account is zero account. So there is no chances of any deduction as per 811 account opening forum. Kindly solve my issue due to amount has been deducted from my account.
