Query with regards to mediclaim reimbursement

I am writing with regards to an insurance claim reimbursement which was submitted to medi assist.


The claim was for lasik surgery for both eyes which is quite eligible for reimbursement (confirmed by mediassist on call) as i had a power of -7 and more in both the eyes.
I had a package of 45000 inr with some additional relevant medical bills which totals to 46055 inr for which i had claimed. for which i had submitted...

Comparing Holep treatment with TURF for BPH

I have a corporate Mediclaim policy with MediManage(Mediassist) team, recently my father age 69yrs was diagnosed with Prostrate issue and after a months time he was suggested to undergo a Laser treatment. Now i had been suggested to go S.L.raheja hospital where they told me around 1.85L approx cost.
Since they have a Cashless benefit i spoke to Medimanage team on how to proceed since it takes time for approval and also we have a 20%...

Incorrect Patient name updated in their record and refusing for cashless hospitalization

Hi,

I have a valid insurence with ICICI Lombord (MediAssist is TPA) for my father (i am employee of Wipro and took parental insurence) from 01/12/2009 till 11/30/2010.

My father has got heart attack in Jan 2010 and MediAssist re-imbursed the amount after deducting 10% of co-pay.

After few check-ups in hospital, doctor suggested to go for Angiogram for my father and i applied for cashless hospitalization...

Medi Assist worst ever service I had seen

Dear reader,

If you want peace of mind with cashless claim, please don’t go with Medi Assist TPA.

We ( I, my wife and new born baby) had to wait in the hospital lobby for 8 hours; thanks
to Medi Assist’s lethargic inhuman service! The fax for enhancement of the cashless claim was sent at around 4:00 PM. Every hour, I was calling the customer service of Medi Assist and the hospital administration...

My name is Naveen and claim ID : 41038667

I applied for a claim on 06-Dec-2024, and submitted all the documents.
from 27-Dec status showing as payment processed but till now there is no settlement,

When I called to customer service they are rude and not resolving the issue. I sent may emails to [protected]@mediassist.in but no response.

No one is helping me in regarding of issue,

        Due to emergency I have checked today my mediassist account it is found that my dependent sister name is not present in the list. It was there in the mediclaim list from last 4-5 years.

        During 2021, I have requested to delete my Father name Late Shri Pandhari Thalal ( expired on 16/05/2021 ) from the list, but its still persists in the list. Already I had done all necessary things for the correction, but today found nothing updated again .

        Hence it is requested to delete Late Shri Pandhari Thalal ( Father ) from list . And add my dependent sister Miss Swati Thalal name in the list which was previously present.

        Please do the needful at the earliest. Matter most urgent

          I have submitted a Squint surgery claim in Medi assist for my father, and it got denied. It clearly comes under and is considered medically necessary as suggested by the doctor, and he has undergone the surgery believed that it with the assumption that it would increase his vision. I understand that sufficient details are submitted by the hospital. He had cataract and lens correction and also took part in the surgery. Surgery was done at The Eye foundation Foundation Kochi on 06/12/23. Really great if you look at our cashless claim and let us know the possibilities to get the cashless portion for of squint as it's considered as necessary for the proper vision.

            I see a number of claims Domiciliary as well as reimbursement claims are getting denied with the same status and medibuddy contact us link does not even work, the number has some very inefficient people who simply reads out the status and does not help in any form.

            A claim number[protected] I see has been given the break ups however, standing with the repudiated status for no reason.

            Another claim number[protected] has been given a denial reason however a part of it which was the OPD consultation fee should have been approved and should come as partially approved status, Moreover, if a prescription document is missing, then requester should get a field where they can edit or upload any additional document and not just cancel it for a missing document, it could be that the document is with the requester but due to manual human error it was been missed to be uploaded.

            Terrible customer service and very disappointing coz one has to invest a huge number of time submitting and tracking and resubmitting claims.
