Hi Sir/Madam, I've hired NTL taxi yesterday(19th Dec 2014) night (around 10 - 10:30 PM) for next day early morning pick @ 6:30AM from Medavakkam to K.K childtrust hospital, Nungambakkam. Booking ID: A[protected] I have received driver details via SMS only next day (20th Dec) morning 5:45AM. Having complete trust on NTL, I'm not much upset over delayed confirmation on booking. I called up taxi driver at 6:45AM as he has not arrived for pickup at 6:30AM. He replied in few mins he could reach pickup point, instead he arrived only at 7:25AM which is about 1hr late . upon questioning for delay, he casually replied type punctured on the way, hence delayed. When he can't make it on time to reach customer, if he would have informed me on the same, i would have made another booking or another taxi service for quickly. My nephew (1month baby) operation was scheduled at 9AM and surgeon advised us to reach before 8AM. Because of the driver's negligence, we could reach hospital by 8:30AM and our plan of pre-operation formalities were messed up. I'm totally disappointed by the way NTL handling its customers and Bookings. I urgean explanation and apology from NTL. This would be my last booking to NTL; i will suggest my friends and relative not to take service from NTL in future. Yours sincerely, Chandrasekhar

    On 15.12.2014 I took your taxi from Arumbakkam to Railway station. The fare in meter was Rs.221/= Driver gave a print out for Rs. 232/=. I received one SMS to pay only Rs.178.75. But driver did not accept Rs. 178.75 and demanded Rs.232/= only. I do not have any other option except to pay as per the driver's demand. Vehicle No. TN09BT6094; Date: 15 Dec 14; Time: 06.01.

      I travelled by a NTL call taxi on 14/12/2014. The details are: Booking ID: A[protected]. Cab Number: TN07BF3935 Driver Mobile number: [protected]. I had booked a cab for 12:15 PM from Adyar to Thirumangalam. The driver arrived at 11:45 AM and asked me to come as he was waiting for me. I was in the middle of a class and I politely told him that I had booked a cab at 12:15 and that I cannot come down before that. He told me to pay the waiting charge of 0.25p per minute for the extra half an hour. When I raised this issue with NTL, they told me that my request had been entered incorrectly in the database and that nothing could be done about it. Since I am 8 months pregnant, I had no other option but to pay the extra waiting charges. I got into the cab at 12:15. I told the driver to drive slowly because of my physical condition and that I would bear the extra cost for the delay involved. Despite this, he drove very aggresively especially over bumps on the road. The reason why pregnant women are adviced to avoid autos is because of their aggressive driving. If the taxis also driven aggressively, then how does one expect us to travel on the road? When I raised the issue again with the driver, I was taken aback by his attitude. He was yelling at me as if I was kicking up a racket. I asked him to stop immediately and sort out the issue. He refused to do so. I had to call up NTL, explain the issue to them and ask them to stop the service. 20 minutes of the aggressive driving continued, till I bargained with NTL. Given my health condition, I got out of the car safely by Gods grace. He charged me Rs. 120 without a bill. If this is the attitude to expect from the taxi service providers, how will we as women feel safe travelling in a cab. The drivers have to be educated about courtesy and customer satisfaction.

      I also Travelled with them last Month, very poor services. Refund my 1500 Rs.
      I have used NTL call taxi on 11th Jan 2015 from KK Nagar to purasaiwalkkam. My booking ID is b[protected]-11. Driver is not responding correctly and total KM i have travelling 8 KM. So, have to charge Rs.204only as per NTL traiff plan. But, driver received Rs. 304 without provide bill as well. already spoken call center as well but issue not yet resolved. No trusties and marked hidden charges as well.

As time is important for everyone to reach the Station / Airport, it is ridiculous that they have their own reasons to justify their stupid actions. Will the Company compensate me for the mental agony and high price?

        i travelled in nil call taxi on 7.12.14 at 0.15hrs. My booking I'd A[protected]. First cab driver did not turn and after frantic calls from airport another vehicle arranged. The driver collected Rs.437/ and informed the billing machine is not working. After payment received sms stating amount Rs.274/-. Made a complaint twice and every time they said they will get back to me but did not. Worst service and management is encouraging cheating of customers. Manimuthuu, Advocate

But i got sms to pay RS 574.25 after payment of RS.777 in this regard the excess payment of RS.202.75 was paid by me.             I booked a cab from NTL on 6/12/2014 from Thiruvanmiyur to Sholavaram in Chennai. Once i asked for the bill driver told have to get it from NTL In mail . i called nearly 20 times till today 12/12/2014. They told will do it will do it ... i don't know when it will be done for me as i want to claim the amount. Please help me out !!! Support !!! Thanks !!!

                I booked a taxi for the next day morning 6am. I did not receive the driver contact details till 5.30am. I called the NTL customer service by 5.30am to check the status. I received an SMS with the driver details. However, the driver was not reachable. I called the customer service again and they promised me to call me back in 5 mins. I did not get a call or SMS till 6.30am. I booked the taxi with another company by 7.00am. I wasted time and was not able to reach destination on time.

                  My Friend Booked the NTL Taxi on 22ndNov'14 at 6.15 from Thoraipkkam to Egmore. We did the booking at around 5.00 PM and our booking ID is "BT[protected]". They have sent the driver details and when we called the driver he said he is in Mambakkam so I can't come and I will contact customer service and make some other arrangements. As he told, he informed the customer service and we again got a confirmation that, you will get the taxi at 6.15 PM for sure. (My friend was in a hurry to catch the train at Egmore). We waited till 6.10 PM and the taxi didn't come so again we called the NTL people and again they have given a assurance that, taxi will come at the right time. Today is 27th Nov'14, still the taxi is not yet come. Then he took an auto and went to the station. ...One of the WORST Taxi Service...

                    I engaged a SUV # TN06J2050 on a five hour package from 11.30 am on Monday 3Nov 14.
                    The driver arrived late at 11.50am. only.
                    I asked him to drop me at Saidapet Register office and wait.
                    On arrival at Saidapet, he asked for Rs.500/= for diesel in advance.
                    Unsuspectingly we paid Rs. 500/=
                    When our job was over at about 4.00p.m. We called him several times at

                    since there was no response on bell ringing, we took an auto at 4.24pm and immediately complained to your office at #[protected] at 4.25pm.
                    We told we are on our way back in an auto. also informed the driver got Rs.500 from us and then never turned up for return.

                    Exactly after this call the driver called at 4.27pm from phone [protected], which we did not take as we were on our way back home and not to pick up a quarrel with him and preferred to complain to your customer care.


                    We are regular users of your taxi.
                    Why are you sending such drivers whose back-ground is not checked.
                    I fainted being a senior citizen without food at registrar office waiting for this taxi.
                    I am aged 73

                    Being your regular client i deserve a reply and also full refund of Rs. 5000/= for
                    tormentation suffered.

                      Irregular Service and Response On Nov 03, 2014 I have booked NTL call taxi and the Booking ID: B[protected]. I got SMS once I booked with the following details Cab No: TN05 AR 3345 and Driver Mobile:[protected]. The driver called me and confirmed the place at 5.55pm. But he did not turn out the my location till 6.15 pm. I tried to reach him on his mobile phone but it was switched off. I waited for 10 minutes and contacted the NLT call center at 6.25 pm and the execute who attended the call told the cab will come in 5 minutes. No one called me from NTL side or the driver. I tried to call the NTL call center again at 6.35 pm. I got the same answer that the cab will come in 5 minutes. No response from the NTL execute or the driver. Due to this I have missed my important appointment which cost me heavily. Can anyone suggest me how I can fight the NTL Taxi which is not responsible and not owning. They wasted my time and a good opportunity. Please DON’T USE NTL CALL TAXI. They are wasting the time.

                        I am S Tamilvanan, IRS., working as Assistant Commissioner of Incometax, On 02.11.2014 by 4.15 am one NTL call taxi hit my vehicle and ran away. Because of it my vehicle Maruti Swift got damaged, Front right side light and its fittings, bannet and bumper got damaged. One Mr. Thiyagarajan has come by this vehicle from Chindatripet to Valasaravakkam. I got the Booking ID and other details from him. The driver name is Sureh Kumar, his mobile No.[protected], vehicle No.TN 25 L 5298. Booking ID:A[protected]. When I tried to contact him he switched off his mobile. Then I contacted your customer care and launched a complaint. Since I did not receive any response I contacted your complaint cell and launched the complaint again. After the complaint the driver called me and told that he cannot make good of the loss caused to me. In turn he told me to file a FIR. When I was ready to launch, I contacted your customer care and they asked me not to launch any complaint before the police authorities and asked me to wait for a day. Therefore, I have not taken any action so far. Under the above circumstances, I am again sending this mail to you. I hope that you will act swiftly and take action.                           Sir, On Nov 1, 2014 I was booked the NTL cab at 1 pm for 6.30pm pick up. Till 6.30 I didn’t get cab details, Whenever I call them people say wait “ Cab is On d way” . I and my family member are standing on d road in rain. When I call them swathi @ 7pm told cab is breakdown so we schedule other cab it will be take more 30min, I told to give senior person so call transfer to complain disk Mr Yuvaraj took the call t and same think and wait till there give driver number . His TL Hari took call and apology for mistake at 7.30 I was clear told I won’t cut the call till driver number share, at 7.34 number was share to me, And I told I won’t pay cab fare because I booked the cab at 6.30pm and reached at 7.45pm and I was call the sometime and last call was took 48min fare of my calls, So I won’t pay cab fare then hari was disagree with that and at last agree for discount of 10%, then I call cab driver he told allocation change to anna nagar there cancel the my location . So call back them again and ask about cancelation, Again same process waiting junior took call and transfer to complain disk and then to hari at 7.55pm, Hari told because of driver Is not ok with discount 10% cab was cancel Kindly tell me this was you handle consumer wait for 2hour on road with my family BookingID - A[protected] By Jineesh [protected]

                            Greetings, I booked cab from Phoenix market city to perangalathur yesterday(24.10.2014) from your NTL Call taxi by 11:45p.m.But I am sorry to say that the response of the driver was very poor he was not at all attending my cal i was waiting for 1 and a half hours in front of Phoenix.I am very dissapointted with your NTL service.                               Dear All, I would like to file a complaint stating that on 23rd oct 2014, NTL CALL TAXI TN22CT 2406 driver was involved in fighting with me when i am driving a bike . NTL call driver is arrogant and honking all over the road where I have no space to drive. He parked his car in front of velacher sbi, main road and he involved me in quarelling and fight. Can NTL take this issue seriously?

                                I am regular user if ntl call taxi by using ntl app. In their app, there is a option called My Wallet, in that i recharged for Rs.500/-. But i am able to use that money in any way. When i called cust care in 30003000, nobody is helping me. I LOST THAT MONEY.

                                  This is to inform you to hold the customer NTL CALL TAXI : 3000 3000 is not building trusted relationship and they are not meeting commitments on time .
                                  When enquired, they have not sai tnhe actual reason for delay and confirmed within in 5 minutes, the CAB would reach you . s
                                  Unfortunately, I am in Hyderabad, wat to help in in laws and wife to take to hospital and trying to patch up and calling me continuously, and call service team is clueless to anwser the call and abruptly cut the call .

                                  This is is most disappointment service and I request you to consider to put in the paper for helping the chennaites to choose the best service

                                    Generally if we book on some specified time say 8.30 am, we have grace period of 10 min i.e 8.40, only then the driver have to start the meter.But they are not considering this and start exactly at 8.30 without any prior information to the concern person.Also nowadays in ntl they have changed the starting rate as 150 ..but in my case, i noted it was 200.I confirmed with the cab driver that whether starting rate is 150?He said yes i'll reduce 50 rp.then it went on and finally the meter shows 390 and he reduced 50 ..340 rp ..but generally for 12 km it take 260 to 270 rp only.I was shocked and asked y this much difference.He said it was waiting charge and it shows some 55 rp.if argued with him and he said this is the rule.But he waited for 10 mins only which means 10*2=20 rp .I dunno whether the meter is working correctly or not.I also noted in most cabs meter is not working properly showing irrelevant values.Kindly check the meter before hiring a cab. Also another incident, i noted that the meter is not working properly i boarded the cab at 8.32 which means 2 mins but he s giving waiting charge 30 rp extra.he said it is due to traffic.But i m sure that we waiting juz 5 mins in traffic.So totally 7*2=14 .

                                      I had booked for a taxi on NTL call taxi, Chennai to go to the airport at 5.15 am to catch a flight at 7.00 am. I had made the booking for the taxi the previous evening by 7 pm. The booking was confirmed through SMS however i had not received any details about the cab alloted with the vehicle number and phone number of the driver until 5.10 am on the next day. The driver of the cab calls me at 5.10 am in his sleep asking me for the location of my address. When I asked him where he was he said he was in a place called Ambattur, which is about 10 kms away and i was sure he would not be able to reach in 5 minutes. Any how i waited till 5.30 am and called the NTL call taxi customer care at 5.34 am to report that the cab had not arrived and asked them to arrange for an alternative cab. They informed they would call me back but never did so i had to call them back again at 5.45 and asked them for the status, there was a irresponsible response from the customer care that they have informed the driver, thus there was back and forth phone calls being made to the driver, customer care and losing my money on phone calls. Finally the driver arrives at 5.58 am and i got in the vehicle. The driver drove the vehicle recklessly to make up for the delay and in unsafe speed.

                                      I was supposed to check in by 6.20 am for the flight, the driver reached me at 6.24 am and i was not allowed to check in. I immediately called up the customer care and complaint about me missing my flight. I had a very lethargic response pleading sorry for it. however to attend to my work i had to book a next flight to the desired destination which costed extra amount to be paid as it was last minute booking. Subsequently i had to miss my connecting train and had to book a hotel for stay over etc, financially burdening me upto Rs 10, 000/-

                                      i had call the customer care again to know the status of the complaint, there was no response to it, they would just pick up the call and put me on hold when i was on roaming charges. this happened nearly 10 times. Every time different team leader in the complaint department namely Vijaya, Pradeep, Subhash would respond to the call saying that they would respond to the complaint and call me back with the status but never did, until the Manager of the complaint department, one Ms. Vinodhini had called to find how what my expectations were and falsely enquired my email ID saying that she was sending me a confidential informtion, however this was a blantant lie as she did not send any confidential information to me, but was evident that she was only asking for it to check my background. Till now i have not heard any response from the NTL team.

                                      In the mean time I was also told that NTL had asked the driver if he could go only at 5.08 am and got it confirmed from him and sent me a sms at 5.08 am. as per the terms the company has to give a minimum notice of 1 hour to the driver, however in this the driver was given only 5 minutes notice and also come to know that the company is claiming the whole charges from the driver, who is not educated enough to know his rights and he is being exploited.

                                      There NTL is a fradulant company and cheat its customers, the cab driver and exploit them unnecessarily.

                                      There forw i seek justice in getting back the amount of loss financially, emotionally and mentally and demand adequate compensation from the company.

                                        I had registered for NTL share taxi service. I had paid Rs.3152 /- on 5th July and received a receipt from the NTL taxi agent.
                                        They promised to provide the service from July 15th 2013. On 15th July i kept waiting for the info about the cab and my pickup time.
                                        I did not receive any info,hence i tried calling their contact number[protected] which was put on hold forever. I ended up wasting money and my time in trying to reach these people. All in vain, and i had to be late of office by my own conveyance.
                                        I kept trying to call these cheaters and the lines remained busy until late evening.

                                        These people have no manners,professionalism to make an attempt to call the customer adn inform the unavailability of service. When they were planning to get this launched on 15th July, they started their campaign from a month ago, cant they plan things in a better way? I have lost my money, time and it added to my stress that i had to reach office even more late.

                                        Its 2 more day gone now, i have asked for refund of money, they are still keeping their mouth shut without even informing me about the status of my subscription. They are shameless. Will the management have any sense to call me up to answer all my questions. They are seriously disgusting.
                                        I totally agree with rithu1113. I also subscribed for their share taxi services by paying Rs.1500/-. They neither send cab nor they inform you about unavailability of cab. Even if you call, all their lines will be busy for about 10 minutes and then even if you get a chance to talk with their customer care, they will say the same story that they will arrange cab in the next 2 minutes..

                                        My sincere advice is to avoid NTL Share taxi service.. Their service is totally a cr*p.. Please dont waste your precious money and time to these deaf and dumb peoples..
                                        Its a month gone now. I havent got my refund yet. I have wasted my money in calling up this customer care and they are shameless that they notice my number and put the call on mute and no answer at all. It adds to my frustration that if i will ever get my money back and NTL group of companies is cheating the public. All they want is to live in others' money and make their survival.

                                        Pls refrain from dialing their numbers for any service.
                                        Oh haven't seen a worst service ever before. Please stay totally away from these taxi, there is no one who takes ownership. All the disonnected department. No information flow to another. Could be a living example of worst way of executing operations.

                                        The stress and frustation along with money and wastage of time they caused me has made me so angry but very aptly they dont take any complains. Call centres just switch off the calls.

                                        Its a absolute chaos, steer away. Bus or any public transport is any day better than NTL share taxi services.
                                        HORRIBLE & highly UNRELIABLE service.. You need to follow-up daily for 30-40 mins to get a cab arranged... And the icing on the cake is You need to pay the entire amount for a minmum of 1 month in advance... :)

                                        As usual, once they start receiving more complaints, they dont respond to your calls or disconnect them abruptly.

                                        Overall, a worthless experience I had for the past 2 months.. A lot of them stopped using because of extremely poor service.

                                        Definitely they will make you to wait and las minute they say cab not available.If you call they wont pick the call intentinally.Even if any thing happens to passenget they will not take any action and just leave it like that.

                                        Terms and Conditions o[censored]se

                                        Travel time depends on your distance and it will be maximum 90 minutes for 25 to 30 kms approximately - They wont arrange cab until the last minute so you travelling time would be 4 hrs including the wait time or else may be you have to choose your own transport.

                                        They may say they have all facilities but none will be working.

                                        You will not be able to escalate they will say I am not responsible, some other is responsible and will never get a solution.

                                        SO PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR NTL IT THE WORST.ITS MY REQUEST.YOU WILL SUFFER A LOT.NTL IS TOTAL WASTE
