    Claim processing fraud

    Hi,
    I wanted to share my worst experience with the worst insurance company, no customer service and no professional ethics.

    I planned a trip to Shirdi (with my family wife & son) on 10 Feb 2020 on Spicejet (PNR-QB9DGZ) through make my trip. During the booking make my trip offered a travel insurance from Reliance General Insurance. So I booked the travel insurance.

    The survey executive says my accident us deliberately made and no update after escalating to grievances section as well, please find email below and take necessary action .

      I regret to inform you, after lots of followed up by an Reliance agent (Amit, [protected]), a saving plan (Policy No.[protected] was purchased from Reliance Nippon Life Insurance on dated 04/12/2020.of which I paid the premium of INR 1, 04, 500 on 5/12/2020.

      At the time of purchasing the policy, your agent told me about a number of attractive benefits about the policy . I received the hard copy of policy on 22/12/2020 on my home address, but to my disappointment I did not find any benefits mentioned by the agent.

      After discussing this issue with some of my colleagues and experienced personnel, I understood that I have become a victim of the trap setup by the Reliance agent. Thus I decided to cancel the policy & visited Kirti nagar branch for the same on 22/12/2020.The officials sitting there informed me that on the policy documents submitted by the agent, my signature was missing and advised me to submit an authentication letter of signature to the related bank confirming the same.whereas it was a responsibility of Relance Nippon agent.

      I had done the same and submitted all the documents on 22/12/2020. Once after this when I enquired regarding the time period to cancel the policy they said it will take another 12-15 days. On 29/12/2020 they called me again and asked me to submit a policy bond which was not mentioned earlier on my previous visit on 22/12/2020. After all this unprofessionalism by the employees they further told me that it will take another 10-15 days for the policy to be cancelled.

      I am utterly disappointed by the irresponsible and unprofessional behaviour of the employees working at Reliance Nippon Life Insurance and I regret to inform this that till date no further action is taken and all this behaviour leads to one thinking as a big scam.

      I am putting forward this matter so that an urgent action is taken at the earliest, else I would be left with no choice but to take this issue to the IRDA or INDIAN CONSUMER COURT.

      I hope this issue gets resolved at the earliest and the need to go to the IRDA or INDIAN CONSUMER COURT does not arise in the first place with a proper action being taken against such agents by Reliance Nippon Life Insurance who trick hardworking people into their malicious traps.

          My car has gone for the claim and the surveyor came and is not passing the car saying that he is asking for more money to pass the car claim from us.
          And if I do not pay the money, then they are passing the claim to the surveyor but at 50%.

              Since I have not done much of a Business in Reliance General Insurance, and also as I have completed my Certified Financial Planner course and as per the recent SEBI Guide lines for RIA I am in the process of Converting my Business model into an Registered Investment Advisor Firm.                   Hi, May Name is Saurav Sharma. Somebody stolen 2 Tires along with Alloy Wheels of my KIA Seltos. I complaint on dial 100 first than no policeman came to me till 4 PM than after I lodge an FIR online on Delhi Police Website and inform to my agent. I went to the showroom and sign the claim form. Then I receive a call from the surveyor, he asked me for some photographs of the car, I sent those photographs. After that when my claim suppose to clear the surveyor called me and he said that I have not add the Car Number in the FIR so he is not able to process the claim. There is no option to edit the FIR online, I went to Police station but they also denied to lodge a duplicate FIR for the same. What can I do in this situation.

                      I filled a travel claim in the month of march. First, they asked me to submit all my documents. I posted on my docs on 21st of march. Due to lockdown, the offices got closed and when i tried following up. They told me to email all my documents. After emailing the docs, it’s been more 3 months i have been following up with there team but whenever i call the customer support team says that we have received all your docs but the claim has not received it. You have to resend the docs. It’s been more than 10times i have send my documents copy but the claim team has still not resolved my claim. Instead they tell me to wait for 3 days, 7 days but nothing happens eventually. The customer support team just says that we are escalating your claim but nothing happens. This is pathetic. Worst insurance service i have ever received. Please refund the customers money because that why they buy your insurance for.

                        I am not interested for the insurance said above in the subject. Kindly cancel the "home burglary insurance" of rs. 2 lac of 1 year for rs. 199 which added by default, it is ticked in check box automatically. I also request you to refund ₹ 199 into my bank account or paytm wallet.

                          I am writing this letter to inform you that my car dl8cau 1781 (Toyota fortuner) model 2018, was insured with your company on 18th may 2018 (1st-time rti) and 11 may 2019 (2nd time) for rti sum insured rs. 36, 59, 543/- by galaxy toyota. The said car was stolen at night on 19th november 2019 car was parked in front of my house, and it was properly locked. I have already taken the issue to the police station by filing an fir, fir no 040683/2019 on the 20th morning. The same day surveyor (Amit kumar) visited and done all the formalities. I have signed the bunch of papers and given back to surveyor, he has also given me regular typed forms which i have to type on stamp papers, some typed format i have to give on my letterhead, some letters for speed-post to ncrb, letter to vijaya bank from where the car was financed, letter to insurance co., letter to rto for intimating theft. Both the car keys, rc. Blank signed form 29, 30. on 23/11/2019 surveyor again visited and collect all the pending docs. As per procedure of court within 60 days i received the pdf of no trace report which was also informed on whatsapp and speed post to surveyor's office. it has been almost eight-month since the theft took place but the car has not been secured yet. So i kindly you to process and expedite the prepayment of the insurance claim for the same. The necessary description of documents is being enclosed with this letter.
