reliance genral insurance for my car maruti esteem and wrong cover note[protected].
with due respect i would like to inform you
1)i did not got cover note in my name where as i was the owner of the car (Rc was in my name)at the time of insurace date.
2)i dint get the the policy in last 10 month.
3)after informing i have not received neither polily nor the cover note in one month.
4)i dont know when can i get the policy in my name where as i have paid the amount 10 months ago.

    dear Sir

    I have takrn Health Insurance Floter Policy for 4 members ( Healthwise Policy No.[protected] from Vikash Marg in May 15th 2008.
    I submited my claim paper with all hospital bills & medical bills to the TPA E-Meditek . But TPA said me that they have no any data of my family .
    Then I register complaint on your costomer care no. 30338282 & they give me only a complaint no. -521495 on 11th of sep 2008 . & tell me that they have send the detials of my insurance to the TPA . & TPA will provide you the claim amount
    But TPA again said that they have no dataof my policy & they also said that in this policy only one person covered . But I have confrimed that from Vikas Marg Branch ( 1316 ) & branch official provide me the policy certificate on today 20th sep 2008 & the policy covers my all family members .
    Branch officials also said me that TPA mey provide me the claim but yet no. one can halpe me for my claim .
    So I requiest you to please do the needful & provide me the claim

        I am Rakesh Kumar Mittal. I approached Reliance General Insurance company for my car insurance. One of their agent approached me (Agency Code 2036599) for the insurance of my vehicle (Baleno: AP28BA 6805). He agreed to give an IDV of 327, 800 for my vehicle (Cover Note No:[protected] for an insurance sum of Rs 6526 (paid through checque No: 164461, HDFC).

        After a week I received a final insurance copy from Reliance, but to my surprise they gave an IDV of just Rs 247, 289. After I called them and clarified, their customare care staff talked in a very rude way. (Customer complaint no: 448978) and said we cant help you out. I feel I am cheated they charged rs 6526 for a lower IDV. But no listeners.

        To common junta, please never ever go with Reliance. They just believe in looting common people.

        i have been a reliance insurance agent but i have not received my insurance kits till now. i joined in june 2007 last year.

        My wife uma agarwal need a medical treatment but fortis noida and max delhi reject to accept the reliance mediclaim cashless card. due to bad payment of reliance.



        reliance is having a very bad reputation in the market.



        then we take treatment in meerut. there also they take charges from us. after that we fax the papers to reliance TPA emeditek. but there is no response from there side. no body is picking up the phone also.



        its a mentally and physically harrasment to us. we want to file a case in consumer court against reliance general insurance & e-meditek solutions limited (TPA)

        1. My name is santosh Kumar PJ. I had given an amount of Rs 500/- for making insurance to my vehicle (CT 100 KL 11W 2976, The vehicle is under the name of HDFC Bank) to Mr Ullas the Centre Manager of Reliance Money Calicut Branch on Aug 2008. But it is regretted to say that I have not got my Insurance policy till date. When ever I contact him he tells me that he has given the money to Reliance GI section to Mr Niyas of Calicut branch.

        2. On contacting him on Mobile, He always used to tell, he will get it in the evening later on he used to cut my calls. So during Oct I went to the office and enquired Mr Ullas He immediately contacted Mr Niyas of GI Branch. Mr Niyas told me he will get to me back with the insurance within two days but again one month has passed.

        3. Can you look personally to this matter so that he make the insurance at the earliest so that the traffic rules are not abided.

        4. The Mob Number of Mr Ullas is [protected].

        i am really frustrated to take the insurace from reliance. i am waiting for my claim cheque from last one year. my claim ref no is [protected].i already talk to customer care but they are good for nothing.
        i met with an accident on 18th of december and my foot got fractured and i got treatment (plaster) from doctor. after that i had a talk with executive of e-meditek (tpa) for reliance and explained him the complete story. he told me to send a fax or e-mail for the same and to submit the original for the same with in month i follow his instructions and did the same. but after some time when i call up the tpa i got a stupid answer that reliance has refused to make payment because there was no hospitalisation for the same. but at the time when i had a talk with the executives so many times they told me i[censored] have all documents in original there is need of hospitalisation.and the best part is that no one will call u back.
        that seems to me that u are ready to make a payment rs.30, 000/- for fraud bills but u will not make payment for the actual cases for rs.4000/-
        i am just waiting for their response, after that i will put a case i consumer forum.

        I am aditi Gupta a student of an MBA institute name--" BLS Institute of management, Ghaziabad".I got selected in Reliance General Insurance through campus placement on 3rd, nov, 2007 and were supposed to jopin the same from aug, 08, since i got the offer letter for the same... but i have not got any call from there till date and now the hieghts o[censored]nprofessionalism of the same company is that they are not even responding in this concern... this type of attitude has never ben expected from souch a big name...but now i think all the talks of the concern are mere fake promises... this organisation has actually played with our lives... we also gave many calls and marked many mails to MR. Prashant Uprejaand Mr.Jitender Gaur but all r in vain... Now at present i am struggling in my career... I seriously don't know that whether on this blog my complaint would be taken into consideration or not...but as i found the way to complaint i have done the same...coz by any other means i am not gretting any desirable answer...

          I have taken insurance of my car from Reliance General Insurance Co. Ltd, Chmabur Branch on 3rd May 2008.The ploicy no is [protected].Before taking car insurance from Reliance General Ins. Co. Ltd, I have inquired by call center and then only the chamber branch has taken a call.But the vehicle insured’s declared value which is mention in the customer copy is Rs. 189528/- only and premium for this is Rs. 3700/-only. I have paid the amount by cheque. The cheque no is 003150 and bank name is The Ratnakar Bank Ltd.But when I get the certificate from Reliance General Ins. Co. Ltd., there was mismatch between the customer copy and certificate of vehicle insured’s declared value and premium. The vehicle insured’s declared value in certificate is Rs. 167000/- Only and premium value is Rs. 3694/- Only.When I complain about this(Ref Complain No409671), the Branch Manager has told me that the vehicle insured’s declared value can not be changed it was the mistake. Please look into this as I am cheated by them.

          i got my car santro model 2008 insured through you insurence co on 29th april, 2009 i have received the insurence policy cum certificte without any list of authorised service centre and also the receipt of the payment paid by me . while making payment to the representative
          who assured that i will received the free washing coupens along with the insurance policy, but till today i have not received the same inspite of my several telephonic talk with the call centre personnsel ms riya you are requested to look into the matter.

            For my motorcycle insurance i go to near a Reliance Insurance agent by the name of Maksood([protected]), Sharda Automobiles, 50, Garh Road, Meerut and gave him a sum of Rs. 825/- dated 26/04/2008 for the insurance of my motor cycle. But till date i neither received the cover note nor the policy. I filed a complaint with the Reliance call centre (Comp. No. 414416) dt. 30-04-08. the next day a person (service manager, meerut branch) range me up and told me for cover note that co. provided cover note only in case of 1st insurance. he say for policy papers that due to lack of staff policies not make. he says also he provided me policy papers within 2-3 days but till date i don't have received any documents. Later i filed complain more than six time but all time executive say we take ur complain on priority basis but no action tacken till them. I talk senior person (customer care)Mr Jay On 10/05/2008 he also say we take ur complain on priority basis but no action tacken till them. Now it is more than 18 days when the amount was handed over to the agent but not even a cover note is received.
            I am unable to drive the car for want of papers and am waiting all the time at home for the receipt of the requisite papers.

                Hi

                we have taken a insurance under cover note number[protected] from agency code:- 544304 wide sm code number :[protected] from reliance Janak puri Office dated 25/02/2008. Now they have send an intimation letter dated 31/03/2008 saying that the cover note is cancelled and ask to replace the cover note with another insurance company without any reason.
                Now my vehicle is running on risk and tell me who will bear this at the time of some mishappening. We have paid RS:-800 for the two wheeler insurance wide vehicle HR-36H 6220 under the Name of Mr.Krishan kumar Gupta.

                We have tried the to contact but no responce from Reliance Agent .
                Please do the Needful as soon as possible on urgent basis

                  Hi, My self Om Prakash Ojha from Noida, I was operated in Kailash Hospitals G. Noida on 13/ 02/08 for My. Gall blader stone prob.The day when i was admited in the Hospital on the behalf of my Reliance Mediclaim policey card . The TPA send a Fax to Paramount Health Services saying about my admission in the Hospital and got a written Fax from Paramount that OK we will pay you the amount after your Opration. When i was released from the hospital i send all the requierd document to Paramount Health Services Okhla Phase I Office. The Serial started of Documentation.I have send them more that 7 times my Ducuments but every time the same thing is happning pl. send this document, pl. send that document, they are accting just like a TV Show (serial )Office Office . This company is making fool to all the countary peoples.I would like to request all the countary citizens not to go for any Mediclaim policry of Reliance, because they are cheating innocent people and are not at all commited for what they have assured.Pl. donot go for this policy othervice you also will repent as i am, I have spent more that 25000 INR in my treatment but they are not ready to pay me even a single coin for this. What was my fault, only to take a mediclaim policy of Reliance Mediclaim.

                  Hello,

                  This is Abhishek from New Delhi. I have a complaint regarding one of the insurance executives working in your company in Okla branch. A month ago that lady called me regarding insurance of my Hyundai vehicle which was getting over in Aug2008. She told me that she is calling from Hyundai and offer me few schemes along with the policy. She committed me some extra things like car vacumn cleaner, 4 service coupons for the vehicle, a trip and car security system for which she told will be delivered along with the car policy. Now its been more than a week since i have received a policy . But those things has not been delivered yet. When I called up that lady is fooling me by telling that i have already mail that goods.
                  I found her behaviour very unprofessional. This is also very bad on part of reliance insurance company and i thing i will never opt for it in future and also never ever recommend it to anyone else also.

                  I have also bought reliance healthwise gold plan of 200000/-last year. I have already taken claim of my 1.5 year son of rs. 12, 000/-, Now I have received the renewal letter which shows the 20% loading on renewal premium. Reason of Loading charges are not mentioned in the renewal letter. At the time of buying this policy no body tell this feature. This is pathatic, This company is cheating every citizen of India.
                  I have take an Medical insurance policy for me and my family. Last year I pad a premium of around 9000 but this year company has sent me to a renewal letter and has asked for Rs 14500 or so.
                  I want to talk to the representative of the company but all agents whom the website of Reliance has directed have shown no interest. Nobody has called me and when I call them, there is no response as well. At times they say they are not with Reliance and is a wrong number
                  The company tel no of Gurgaon is always busy. Probably out of order. New Delhi office no. is not in use. They have not updated new numbers in their website.

                  Never seen such a lausy response. It looks like worst managed company ever seen.

                  I am Sulabh Srivastava is a regular policyholder of your company from the last two years bearing policy no.[protected]HEALTHWISE POLICY – GOLD). This year my due date was 06/ 03/ 2008 so that I have given the cheque on dated 04/ 03/ 2008 of the same date through Cheque No. 389141 of amount Rs. 3225.00 from the ING Vysya Bank, Kanpur Branch. At that, time there was a handsome amount in my A/c. However, my cheque was sent for clearance in the month of June and it was dishonored on dated 03/ 06/ 2008. It was the first cheque of my life, which has dishonored from any of my A/c because I have switched from my job in the month end of April-08. You can understand that in this type of circumstances one has to withdrawals only so I have done the same thing and I am not a businessperson that I can keep the records that cheque which I have given in the month of March-08, which was sent for the clearance in the month of June-08.

                  Sir, I want to ask that this was not my fault so why has to I bear this because your company has sent it in the fourth month from the cheque date. Whether the Reliance General Insurance has no need of money on time? From all these things, I am loosing all my second year entitlements and if I will go for the new policy, this time HEALTHWISE POLICY – GOLD has been closed.

                  So, Sir suggest me accordingly that who is defaulter over here and who is sufferer and also tell me for further procedures.

                  This is Deepak from New Delhi owning a Hyundai i10 Car purcahsed in December 2008. I am getting regular calls for getting insurance from Reliance GIC since last two months approx over thirty times.
                  Each and every time calling person is different and when i had confirmed that i had already insured my vehicle from other GIC, still getting the same response from every caller " ki call to aati rahengi" what stupidity is this, i had several times requested to update in your sytems to strikethrough my name from your list but still getting calls.

                  Can you do me favour in this regard against this harassment.

                  Dear Sir,


                  This is with reference to your letter dated 13/01/2010 reference no. 4281153 and 4311195 rejecting claim for medical treatment on ground of “Pre Existing Disease”.

                  We understand the claim has been rejected by missing complete assessment of details of policy and continuity of policy, as your letter mentions that disease was pre existing from 4-5 years, whereas no further details were provided.

                  We would like to furnish further details as given below once again.

                  1. Policy was started on 17/06/2007 vide policy no.[protected] for Rs. 1,00,000/- under Gold Plan valid upto 16/06/2008.

                  2. Policy was renewed from dt. 17/06/2008 vide policy no.[protected] valid upto 16/06/2009 without any claims in previous year.

                  3. Under this policy period of 17/06/2008 to 16/06/2009 stone ailment was diagnosed and we have submitted treatment claim of Rs. 30,701/- out of which only Rs. 21,556/- was paid to us and balance amount is still pending to be paid to us.

                  4. Also treatment of stone removal from kidney (ESWL) at Ludhiana was paid under cashless scheme vide policy no.[protected] claim ref. no. 9114632.

                  5. Policy was renewed further from 17/06/2009 to 16/06/2010 vide policy no.[protected] in continuation of policy no.[protected] and[protected].

                  6. During this period of 17/06/2009 to 16/06/2010 ailment of Kidney was diagnosed. This complication developed after stone removal treatment (ESWL) at Ludhiana.

                  7. So, we have submitted claim for treatment of kidney under policy no.[protected].

                  Your above mentioned letter states that claim is rejected due to pre existing disease for past 4-5 years, which is wrongly assessed. It is very clear from the fact that claim for stone treatment was already paid, one time cashless and one time reimbursement (Partial amount pending).

                  So, complication arising out of ailment for which claim has already been paid could not be pre existing disease. Also there was no ailment diagnosed during 1st year of policy inception and same was diagnosed only during second year for which claims have already been paid partially.

                  So you are requested to please arrange to pay the claim amount at earliest.

                  My uncle is not given teh claim money back. He is told that you sent us your bills after a week and you should have informed us when you were in hospital. What is taht nonsense.

                  He got operated with all screws in his bone such a bad situation for an old man alone in the city. You want us to inform.

                  Claim amount is 1lakh.

                  They are not giving the money back.
                  This paramount company is doing nothing . We are filing a case on them this Monday via consumer court on hare. reliance is equally responsible for this.

                    Myself Harpreet Singh S/O Bhupinder Singh resident of village Heon Banga Distt Nawanshahar Punjab had purchased your policy from one of your agent as above mentioned on 31st december08 but after receiving the policy I came to know that the request form which was filled duly by me in front of one of the agents of RSL was changed .All my profession was changed, my signatures were also copied from the original form & did not match by the actual one.
                    After that I approached to reliance Insurance Nawanshahr office to refund my policy, there I came to know that the cancellation application form is to be duly signed by the policy holder as well as agent advisor.
                    When I called back the person who contacted me for policy he said that the policy is under there company RSL and my agent advisor is somebody Vikas Sharma mentioned in the policy. Then I tried to call that Vikas Sharma but the contact number given was totally fake. Till then my free look period was gone and I got frustrated.
                    After a week on 8th Feb. 09 I came to knew that RSL Company is organizing a meeting in nawanshahar, I personally visited their agents and they ensured me for the refund of the policy. But sir till date no body in the FAKE company (RSL) is ready to attend my phone & nor they are returning my policy. My original policy is in the office of RSL in Delhi.
                    So sirs please take this matter to be serious because it also leaves a bad impression of Reliance Insurance Company.

                      i have a reliance general insurance mediclaim policy no.[protected] dt. 22 /10/2007, On dec 26th 2007 i met with an accident and got fratured in my left forearm which had been operated 3 Years back and fitted with an steel rod. After 3 years of surgery I did'nt face any problem in my daily routine work. After accident on the advise of insurance consultant from reliance i got admitted to their empaneled hospital at Yashoda superspeciality hospital. On report to TPA the hospital got response that they can't make it cashless but the insured may claim reimbursement later. On this I accepted in this hospital which i could hardly afford but eventhough by taking loan I paid the bill. Now Reliance people dening for the reimbursement. What should I do?

                        Hi

                        I had Purchased a New TATA Indicab ( AP09 TV 3269) on 1st week of November 2006, form Concord services Hyderabad where in the Said Cab is Hypothecated to ICICI Bank Begumpet Hyderabad.

                        I had Paid 14540 Rs to RamMohan Reddy ( So Call agent By Reliance officials) Prop. of Global Financial Hyderabad as Insurance premium. I had received a Photo copy of the Cover note (No.0285185) at the time of Car delivery issued by Authorized Person from Reliance General Insurance.

                        Just after 3 month i had raised claim with Reliance Helpdesk because of small Damage of my car. Later i came to know by Reliance surveyor that the issued Cover note is not Valid because Original Cover note shows different Customer. After a great struggle with the Rammohan Reddy repair charges had paid by him.

                        Later Reliance Officials had issued Original Cover note. (No 1648734) on through inspection of my car, After couple of Week later i had Received Original Policy Documents and Policy Computation Table with Policy no. [protected] Duly signed by Reliance Authorized person with Ref code of 307201 and SM name HARI KRISHNA. There after till date i haven't received any sort of communication from Neither Reliance General insurance nor Ram Mohan Reddy.

                        on Feb 2nd week i had raised a claim with Reliance General insurance for small damage on the Drivers Door, after formal inspection of the Incident
                        Mr srikanth Surveyor of Reliance General insurance approved the Charges for Repair or replacement of Damaged Parts.

                        I came to Know my By Mr. Jagannath Claims Incharge. That the Policy i hold is not Valid / Fake Policy. I had registered a complaint with Reliance Helpdesk with Complaint no. 336464 Registered by : Rohini. I am receiving Several Phone calls from the Malik Service center to Pay for the Repair and Demurrage charges of RS 200/- per day. I had reported the Issue with Ms Sujatha Claims Dept. And found that Mr Ram Mohan reddy is absconding and Mr Hari Krishna is not Responding to the Telephone.

                        I had called List of Reliance Official and REPORTED the same..

                        I took a car policy from reliance general insurance for my car (honda city -dl 4c ah 3166) vide insurance cover note no.[protected] and a cheque of rs 4285 (cheque no. 419197) dated 14/7/09 from the vaish co-operative bank was issued which was encashed.The corresponding address was given as 358 tarun enclave delhi note.when the policy was not recieved in sufficient time It was found that the corresponding address was written wrongly as 388 tarun enclave by the sales executive of the company on the cover note. A service request was made to the company for this effect for issuing a duplicate policy and to correct the mailing addresson the policy.it was also requested to send an email of the soft copy immediately on 22/10/2010 vide service request no. 987061.I requested several times regarding my request on the following dates i.e.25/2/2010, 4/3/2010, 18/3/2010, 23/3/2010, 25/3/2010, 29/3/2010 on telephone .Still i am waiting for the insurance policy.sir you people claim me to send the soft copy immidiately and the hard copy within 7 days but it seems that the claims you make are false and mallacious.I had a word with the senior executives like Mr. Sachin, Mr. Ranjeet on no avail.I hope my complaints are properly looked.

                          dear sir,

                          i am dr pravin kumar singh want to inform you that my motor vehicle accident claim is pending from june 2007. my complaint number is 132943. My claim number is [protected].

                          i have called at least 50 times at reliance mumbai office at [protected] as well as as mr vishal mishra the dealing person in lucknow brnch but i came to that reliance insurence is poorest perfoming company having low quality excutives.

                          mr vishal mishra mb[protected] at lucknow office and also to mr rathore Contact number [protected], dealing surveyer at agra region, both of these misbehaved and replied properly. for last one moonth i am getting reply that my cheque is ready from ucknow office but stil not sent to me. at called at mumbai office at comliant number 132943 but not get proper solution. the senior executive keeps caal on hold and give no stisfactory reply.

                          Mr Vishal agian called me on my mobile dnumber [protected] by his mobile number [protected] today dated 06-01-08 and asked me to send him a fresh consent letter for unknown reasons otherwisemr vishal will find some technical problem in my claim nad will justify his misbehaviour nad delay in claim settlement.

                          kindly take necesary action agaist mr vishal mishra and mt rathore inform me in written. also call me back and solve my problem.

                          It is also requested that kindly appoint some other person and settlement of my claim in lucknow branch so that mr vishal mishra could not create another reason for delay in claim settlement as it pending from june 2007 and cheque is ready on 20th november 2007.


                          So kindly solve my problem as son as possible.

                            For my car insurance i called a Reliance Insurance agent by the name of NIPUN[protected] to my residence and gave him cheque no. 501422 dated 19/10/2007 on 18/10/2007 for the insurance of my car. But till date i neither received the cover note nor the policy. I filed a complaint with the Reliance call centre (Comp. No. 225351) before Diwali but till date no action is taken. Later i emailed a complaint on the Reliance Address. It was acknowledged but nothing was received. On 28/11/2007 a person by the name of Deepak[protected] rang me up and told me that he is sending the cover-note by courier but till date nothing is received and his mobile is not responding. Now it is more than 1 and half month when the cheque in the name of Reliance was handed over to the agent but not even a cover note is received.
                            I am unable to drive the car for want of papers and am waiting all the time at home for the receipt of the requisite papers.

                            During a routine visit to Web world Rajahmundry, I was as ked to do insurance for my two wheelar by Reliance General Insurance executive.As I know the perpection of Relaince ADAG group with out any second thoughtI agreed and paid an amount of Rs 920/- for my Honda shine bike on 18 Dec 2007to one MR Ravi PH No [protected] vide form no[protected]. And form that day onwards I am calling this gentleman whose phone either engaged or swithed off.
                            Yesterday I send one of my collegue to the office located at Rajahmundry and they promptly delivered a policy of some Mr Baburao to me.( Just they dont have time to check the particulars)
                            Today when I rand up Mr [protected] of RGIS rajahmundry the answer was he is on a urgent meeting,and furthur the reply was "Yesterday only you have told us". What's the hurry? That shows the irresponsibility of the staff.They are not only frustrating the public but also spoiling the brand image of Reliance.

                            I called a Reliance Insurance agent (his name I cannot recollect) to my residence for my car insurance & two wheeler insurance and gave him 2 cheques. (Cheque no. 380910 for Rs.1236/- & Cheque no. 380911 for Rs.425/-). But till date I did not receive the policy. I filed a complaint with the Reliance call centre but till date no action is taken.The cover note No is[protected] &[protected] with out the agents name or his code . The agents commission cheque of Rs 425/- was presented by the agent and it got cleared. I am surprised why such a reputed company has such agents who cheat the customer .I am unable to drive the car for want of papers and am waiting all the time at home for the receipt of the requisite papers.

                            I have taken an motor insurance and still i have not received the original copy of it, the car is in the name of MELVIN AUTOMATION, could you please get in touch with this agency, and let me know what is the reason for not receiving the original copy its almost 2.5 months after i paying the cheque
                            i make calls to this agent every day but he is not picking the calls. People like this spoils Reliance name in the insurance sector so i request you to please take necessary action against such agents and their agency and make some arrangements so that people like me dont suffer!!

                            I made one claim with RGICL with SOS international new delhi and its was loss baggage claim, which i have loss in Bangkok . I made claim when I back from Bangkok on time, But Reliance officer Mr Arijit Mazumdar, deny my case without any reason. I have notice Reliance Mnager Mr Arijit mazumadr is always give us very hard time and now he making exsuses to payment.

                            Reliance General Insurance — Rejection of Accident Claim

                            I am the Gold medical policy holder (No.:[protected] of Reliance General Insurance. Due to an accident, I admitted in hospital (Holy Family Hospital) and my treatment done through cash because hospital was not in company's list. After discharge, I submitted all documents for reimbursement. After 1 and half month they told me that my claim is rejected because medical report and police report is not matching. My accident happened on[protected] around 8.45 pm and same time I rushed to said hospital. Hospital mentioned the date 24-02-09 and time 9.20 pm in their report (M.L.C.) and they informed the police around 10.00 pm but police arrived to hospital and accident spot around 7-8 am on 25-02-09. This is not a reason to cancel my claim. Please resolve my this issue. I am sending you the copy of both reports.

                            I have taken reliance general insurance and my son was admitted for a surgery which cost around 16k. Now the TPA (Medi-Assist) has approved for only 9500 and does not give a genuine reason of why charges like Operation Theatre and surgeon charges which cost around 12000 of the bill is not covered. They simply say it is in the policy and i do not see anything in the policy written to that effect.

                            Please be careful when you take insurance policies with them. Do not know how are the others in the market in this segment. Gonna be careful before I pay the insurance amount next week.

                            TPA Call center guys do not give any details about the policy and also are adamant when speaking.

                            Reliance General Insurance — Refund for the transaction charges

                            I tried booking a reliance travel care for schengen policy through their wedsite online. As a result transaction charges were dudcted but my policy was not booked at all. I found from their customer care they confirm me that their is no such booking but transaction charges were cut from debit card.

                            Since then I registered my complaints to reliance care man a times but it is not yet resolved and they have not refunded me the policy charges. They are not giving any satisfactory response and postponing this case repeatedly.

                            This insurance company is a big time cheater. There should be a action against it.

                            We originally got our car No. DL3CAX 3079 insured at time of purchase from Reliance General Insurence. & got it renewed from them on[protected].
                            We filed a claim for car repair on 9.03.2009 and were told by surveyer that policy was renewed with clause of Voluntry deductible, meaning we will have to pay Rs.5000.00 out of total repair charges. As we were never informed about this clause at time of renewal we met and wrote to the insurence co. yo wave this clause but got no response till date. We request you to look into the matter.

                            i had got my car insured with reliance general insurance but have not received the policy copy despite lodging two complaints on their customer care website, one 29 days back and other 25 days back. i have also sent a complaint by registered post to their customer care center in wadala, mumbai dated29/08/09. still no response . help

                            I am also facing this problem.I gave a cheque to the insurance agent on 10/01/2009 which has been debited from my Bank a/c in favour of rel.GIC on 20/01/2009.But till date I have not received my computarised policy.

NEVER TAKE POLICY FROM RELIANCE GENERAL INSURANCE . BAD SERVIECE.

                            My Motor Insurance Claim was settled on 29.09.2009 and insurance company confirm me that settlement cheque will be received within seven days but till date 20.10.2009 i have not received the cheque after many repetated reminders.

In responce to your cash less committment at the time of selling policy you have not honoured your committment and we paid up the amount for the repair of our vehicle and took up the vehicle. now you are not neither giving us claim of our vehicle nor you are dening the same. Please let us know the status of our claim and how much time will you take more to finalised / cancellatin of claim.

                            Reliance General Insurance — no renewal reminder sent

                            I took a Reliance Healtwise policy 2 years ago. Genrally you get a reminder for renewal from the TPA or the insurance company for renewal every year. However I haven't got any communication from the company till date in-spite of the fact the the policy expired on 06/Oct 2009. The policy number is[protected].
                            In case me or my family member were to be hospitalised now, who is responsible for the break in policy. Also now that there is a break of more than a month will the policy continue or I will need to take a new policy, in which case, the restriction that apply during the first 2 years of the policy will again be applied, which is a big risk for me.
                            Is the insurance company or the TPA mandated to give a reminder for renewal?

                            Today I renewed my Motor Insurance through online facility. It seems that they have deducted an amount of Rs.584.00 as Premium, out of which they have charged Rs1.06 as Educational Cess(2%) and 0.53 ps as higher educational cess. It is learned that From October 1,2009 service [protected]@10% will onlly be deducted. It is not the matter of the small amount which they had deducted,but it shows the irresponsibility of a BIG FIRM. These small amounts will mount upto a Huge amount as the COMPANY is also TOO BIG.

                            For my car insurance i called a Reliance Insurance agent by the name of Vishal Gera([protected]) to my residence and gave him cheque dated 15/10/2009 on 05/10/2009 of Rs 3910 for renewal insurance of my car. Insurance effective date was 24/10/2009But till date i did not get the policy. Car no. DL 8CL 1532

                            I am unable to drive the car for want of papers and am waiting all the time at home for the receipt of the requisite papers.

                            I have taken a health policy from RGI on 01.09.09 in this rgl has taken annual premium of rs 4668 & given polisy of rs3749 only RGL is not returning my extra deducted payment even after complainting at callcentre and amravati service centre

                            Worst customer service provided by Reliance General Insurance Company

                            Sir,
                            I made a payment of Rs. 6450-00 for the policy No. [protected] by cheque no. 422851 for the period of insurance 26.10.2009 to 25.10.2010 of my car. After three months I was informed that above cheque could not be cashed due to reason that MICR code is not mentioned on cheque which seems to be only a lame and totally false excuse. Even than immediately I made the cash payment of Rs. 6450-00 against the insurance contract.
                            For the last more than one month I am requesting cashless Claim to get repair of my vehicle but the concerned authorities are not paying any attention on my request. The Hyundai Show room staff does not want to entertain the Reliance General Insurance Company because of the reasons best known to them. In such circumstances the Reliance customers like me are running here and there, getting only tension and wasting their time.
                            I am a senior scientist at Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee. After my sincere & best efforts, I gained worst experience of my life from Reliance General Insurance Company about its services. In such circumstances, I have left no option other than requesting the company to refund my whole amount Rs. 6450-00 with interest. I also request the competent authority to look into the matter and may take an appropriate action against the defaulter so that other customer may get relief from Reliance General Insurance Company.
                            If I don’t get my said amount within one week, I may approach to higher authorities or may proceed for legal action.

                            Reliance General Insurance — Non receipt of Mediclaim amount of Rs. 91000.00

                            Dear Sirs,
                            I have taken mediclaim policy from relioance general insurance in the name of MANISH SABOO. My policy no. is[protected]. I have been continuing my policy since last 4 years. i had to undergoe a KNEE Surgery in August 2009, & i lodged a claim with the T.P.A of reliance i.e. Medi Assist India p. ltd. in the month of August 2009. My claim no. is 4309817. Sir, ever since August 2009, neither i recieved any claim nor any proper reply from both the companies. Neither Reliance general insurance NOR Medi Assist India P. Ltd. reply properly regarding my claim. not less then 100 complaints i have lodged with both the companies over the telephone on their respective toll free numbers.
                            All the Original Bills & Documents have been submitted to them in the month of August & then in November 2009.
                            Please look into the matter & help me getting my claim amounyt as early as possible.

                            i m sunil kumar singh from ghazipur.i bought a car indigo cs from varanasi..and got reliance insurance from that dealer...my car num is UP 61 K 6746..policy num is:[protected]..my car was accedient at 12th sept. 2009 in ghazipur while returning from zamaniya..after instruction of reliance customer i deposited my car at cashless service centre at varanasi auto varanasi...at 17th sept..
                            after 20 days i called varanasi auto to know status of my car..they told me that we can't repair your car because reliance didn't give us any instruction about your car..but i[censored] want to repair your car deposite 30000 Rs. advance to repair...i have deposited 30000 Rs. at 23 oct at varanasi auto..

                            at 25th nov varanasi auto call me to collect my car...reliance serviour called me that we can't give your car because your drivers DL made in mumbai that's reason we have to verifiy that DL....
                            sir they took dec.,jan to verify that DL....after verify that DL they call me to estimate 1 and 2..i give him that...

                            I have insured with a gift pack of Reliance General Insurance issued by India Info Line Insurance for rupees one lack . It is a group policy certificate no.[protected] named KRISHNA KUMAR SINGH for a period of one year. Its regd no. IIISLS[protected] Date 31/ 03 /2009. I went to reliance general insurance on 01/03/2010 but they are responding that issuing company the India Info Line Insurance is closed now however this policy is issued from chennai and it can not be renewed. its renewal cost for yearly premium is rupees 18. It is valid upto 30/03/2010 . Please reply how to get it renewed.

                            I have received a chq for my motor clain, with a silly mistake made by accounts reading my name as Mr. Deopriya Banerjee, i have returned the chq on the 11th Mar.2010 & there has benn no response after that, i am ashamed to say that, the staff here does'nt know their duty towards the customer service at all. I have been repeatdly calling the branch at Ghatkoper - Mumbai, after i have been kept on hold for almost 10/12 min. i get a reply Mr.Tushar Bhandarkar is in a meeting. I honestly think that the above person is not fit to run the show at all & to cannot just be let go this way. I would appreciate the management to take a strict action against the said employee & do the needful at the earliest.

                            Our truck met with an accident and the insurance company is denying the claim on the basis of fake license of driver who was driving the vehicle at the time of accident. Since we have more than 90 trucks to our fleet its not possible to always verify the authenticity of the driving license of drivers.                             Reliance General Insurance — Change in policy without notice to customer

                            I have took Reliance car insurance in the month of october 2009 and certainly now as my car got damaged, i had called up reliance for the claim request and the shocking update i get is "reliance has update the policy for the Tata vehicles and we called-off the cash-less facility at all the service centers". The surprising thing here is no company can update the policy features once issued until the policy enddate and that to without any notice to the customers, where as reliance answers to this as "the decision has been taken by the top management and we cannot do anything on this and its hard to inform each and every customer about the changes been made.

                            Finally now i am getting repaired my car with my own money, need to wait how reliance responds on payment of the claim.

                            In all, i have only one concern if the relaince can change the policy features and benefits and customers are not given importance, then its of not value in getting insured yourself or your assets.
