This is regarding the policy [protected] which i bought for my father xxx on 12 feb 2017.

My father was supposed to come back on 12th june, 2017 and i had bought the original policy document for this duration. On june 10th 2017, we got his stay extended to 12th august 2017.

I thus reached to the reliance call center and subsequently to mr. Narsimha from btm layout branch. On the call he asked to me get the required documentation done for extension of policy. When he went through the policy he told me that although i have provided all required information in the policy, there is a chance that original policy can be made null and void, which he later confirmed as well.

Although, i have not received any formal communication from the office on this, i learnt from him that it is because of me not selection an option of presence of cardiac diseases but mentioning about stent installation in the policy. To this i have following points

1) i would like to tell you here that in i could not find description to cardiac diseases anywhere on the page on which i was booking the policy. Additionally, i thought that stent installation is not a cardiac disease but a disease related to arteries. I am neither a person with deep understanding of insurance nor someone with degree in medicine but my limited understanding told me this.

2) if the policy is null and void and my father was not insured through out the duration, i request you to refund my money back as the premium is charged against insurance. If there was no insurance anyway, then for what i am charged a premium for. I cannot suffer both ways. I should not be paying money for null and void policy.

3) as i understand, although is an online sale, it is a responsibility of the company selling insurance to make sure customer understand the entire form correctly and fill in the details properly. From my side, i had no intention to hide any information. So if you guys are recording and agreeing to information provided by me then, it should be honoured as well. If the company thinks it is not in the position to honor the agreement/ policy, then my money should be refunded back. Also i would like to understand, why there is no one who double checks the information provided in the document.

If the company still considers the policy to be null and void, then please refund my money back for this policy. Or else please take measures to extend. I am writing this letter in full faith to the company. Please do justice with my request. It is our hard earned money and a company as big as reliance should honour hard earned money,

    My vehicle tvs scooty zest met with with an accident on march 31, 2017. I had raised the claim (No [protected]). I got my vehicle repaired in trijal tvs near hopefarm, whitefield. The accident repair charges was rs 7232. After the depreciation, the net payment showing in the website is rs 3985. But only rs 2000/ was settled.

    The surveyor has not visited the garage nor surveyed the vehicle. He is not responding to my calls, messages or whatsapp. Before settlement also he did not inform anything.

    I had raised so many service requests for the discrepancy in the final setllement, but no proper response till now.

      On ma car has no previous clamp ya any cancellation but yr company is continue send me a messages n call for paid extra money i clear but they can't understand they give me only 2 time complain number n only said we will try 2 resolve yr problem but they should not it's like a mentally stress by yr insurance agent as like employee so plz stop n solve ma problem

        Dear Sir/ Madam,

        I had met with accident in the second week of April 2017 and given my bike for repair on the same day.
        Next surveyor came and did all the necessary inspection for the work to start.

        By April 2017 all the work completed and bill was produced to reliance general insurance.

        I have been waiting still now for the money to be credited to my account.
        I have called them many time and got response that there is system error.
        They said amount shall be credited to my account by 12th June 2017.

        And these people are also not sure whether it will be credited or not.

        They don't know what is the amount need to be credited also.

        So let me know what actually going on in my insurance policy.

          My 3 month old renault kwid automatic rxt car insured by reliance met up with an accident on 15th of march 2017 (around 9.30am). I have purchased the car from autologic renault (begumpet). I have submitted the car at autologic workshop/service center located at kondapur hyderabad. Its been a month since i have applied for claim (claim no: [protected]). I have submitted all necessary documents immediately to reliance surveyor and third party verification team Mr. Raju. However my claim is still pending and i have no idea where i stand. i feel it was a mistake to go ahead with reliance insurance now. When i call reliance they say they are waiting for third party report. 90% the so called "investigation team: who is still "investigating" even after the case being over never answers my calls. i tried reaching his boss Mr. balaraju and he said he was on "leave". i was given false promises of claim approval date multiple times. This is ridiculous, unprofessional and terrible service from reliance and who so ever this third party "investigators" are. Those people are rude, never answers calls and highly unprofessional. They went to the extend of threatening my driver and up on questioning this he says "its part of my job" and the funny thing is the case was settled in court 2 weeks ago.

          As an indian citizen and holding a insurance policy of 4.2 lakhs(car damage 2.6) i demand my rights and i ask for immediate approval of my claim without any delay. I'm not ready to wait for week on week anymore and i expect immediate closure. This is unfair to people who trust insurance giants like reliance and its a shame this is happening. All i have are piled up reference numbers for each call made to you customer service number. You have taken one month of my time and lets not even start about calling your verification team. Please kindly live up your name and do the right thing to who RELY on RELIANCE.

          Pal, Its so unfair. When its their need they chase us and try to sell their insurance. But when the time comes to answer the claims, no one bothers. I hope they take steps and keep their reputations and trust in the market :(
          Its quite unfair to customers. Atleast now they should respond in correct manner & proceed further steps to sought out the issue ASAP.

          Assurance from Reliance must translate into Insurance for the damage. Till then it is all wait and watch.
          The dealers usually do not give the customer the option to choose the insurer at the time of purchase.
          You ought to be more cautious in th future. All that glitters is not gold.
          resolution date was given to me 24th april. still nothing. shame. reliance is cheating me

            I am writing this email to report about the illegal activities done by one of your motor insurance claims manager who works out of your pondicherry branch, named e. Sampathkumar. I am just giving this information to intimate about his bribe activities which he is doing, he takes huge money from most of the reliance customers/garages/service stations who report the claim and he have connection with few surveyors and garages who is helping him on this, just by having a take home of about 30-35 rupees monthly he had bought several properties and assets in pondicherry in short period and registered in his and his wife name, he also lends money for interests. Please keep an inquiry on this matter with him asap and also you can secretly scan his movements/bank accounts so that you can come to know about all the bribe amount/favors he takes from the customers who come for claims. I would like to keep my identity out of the equation and i am just reporting this in the interest of our reliance general insurance company revenue and to save the customers. Please save the company and the pondicherry customers from him asap. Hope you will take necessary action.

              Sir,
              I have 100% claim and zero depreciation policy.
              Pl check policy no – [protected]. Against My claim of Rs 16769 i have received only Rs 8706.
              Why there is deduction in approved claim amount.
              Concerned person from Reliance is not responding properly.
              Pl look into the matter urgently as this is really not expected at all from such reputed company. Local area in charges of reliance are not helping.

              Sir,

              The logic given by your representative for deduction of money is not acceptable at all. No where mentioned in documents that if repair done outside Hyundai agency then 50 to 60% amount will be deducted from bill being it is done at local end. Neither your surveyor told us at the time of visit that it must be done at Hyundai center then I will get full refund. Nor your representative told at the time of insurance renewal that i will not get full claim if i will do repair outside Hyundai.

              There is no meaning of such insurance if i have to pay from my pocket and it is totally unacceptable. I have received 50% of my claim amount even at bumper to bumper insurance and in zero depreciation policy. If you are so happy in making customers then you shall be equally happy in serving those customers. All your sales representative call us 50 times at the time of insurance renewal but when it comes actual use of this policy your person are not even behaving well. It is really quite sad and disheartening,

              They don"t have even this much of curtsy that they shall inform me once if there is any discrepancy in bill.

              In this case i am sorry to say that this will be my last insurance from reliance.
              pl find the detail of my repair bill:

              Rs 3869 for parts ( as per our communication you had paid 100% on parts) - Acceptable.
              Rs 3800 for front bumper painting ( as per our communication you had paid 100% on this service) - Acceptable.
              Rs 1000 for bumper open & fit - ( as per our communication you had rejected this) - Not Acceptable.
              Rs 1500 for rear left under panel denting ( as per our communication you had paid 100% on this service) - Acceptable.
              Rs 2200 for rear left under panel painting ( as per our communication you had paid 100% on this service) - Acceptable.
              Rs 3800 for rear bumper painting ( as per our communication you had rejected this) - Acceptable.
              Rs 400 for front RH header fitting ( as per our communication you had rejected this) - Not Acceptable.
              Rs 200 for wiper motor setting ( as per our communication you had rejected this) - Not Acceptable.

              Total claim accepted to both us: Rs 11369
              1000 Rs deducted for any claim by reliance
              still it comes out- 10369
              but you had paid 8706 and rejected Rs 1600.left under panel painting & denting money is not paid to me and it was part of accident and shown to your representative and same photograph also sent to your representative. Can you pl ask your visitor representative why he has not shown left under panel in claim and why this money not paid to me.It is really quite harassing.

                no. [protected] but when printed policy i shown that vahicle 'Mfg month' is printed as March which was 'Nov. month' actually.
                And another one is HYPO. It is blank which from SBI actually. May be it's my or your falt but kindly corret it and sent me a copy to my mail box. My mail id was registered in policy.

                    My brother has a motor insurance with Reliance Insurance and I was using his bike for commute.I lost the vehicle and I acknowledged it was my fault that I informed Reliance insurance after 18 days after the theft.I lodged the complaint on the same day in the nearest Police station and it took me 25 days to get the CSR and the police was adamant that he will not issue FIR but instead gave me the NTC after 90 days.
                    The same was communicated to the so called literate people working with Reliance insurance and they sent me the investigators to check the location and collected all the documents from me.I had to check with them about the status of my claim because they are always on SLEEP mode.whenever I call them for the status they said I have posted a letter and you need to respond by POST only. I had to repeatedly ask them to send me a mail as the concernd post has not reached but they are reluctant. When we try to meet them it is like the insurance people are working in White House, they wont come and talk to us. They speak to us only thru intercomm from their seat. I found it very surprising. But after so many conversations and repeated follow-ups they sent us a letter stating Claim rejected for the delay in intimation. The so called proclaimed literate people in the Insurance business can't they not conclude on the day itself when I made the claim.Is it that they do not have that much sense. Because of their pathetic attitude I had to spend considerable time running after police station and waking up these idiots.
                    From my experience I suggest let us not take any motor insurance from Reliance because we are taken for a ride when we approach them for claims.
                    I do not understand the reason why we shoud take Insurance because anyhow they are not going to settle the claim.

                      I recently today before 30 minutes purchased online car policy from you. While filling detail my name is wrongly written I req. chang immediately but you are not supported or unnecessary required formality this is first experience I don't no while claiming how many obstacles have to face, this service is not expected from you. Please change my name and send me corrected mailcopy otherwise I have to face problem in future one year hoping your reply other wise no opinion to go to consumer grievance

                        My scooty Honda Activa was been dashed by jeep from front side. I ask for the claim. They said they will give 60% claim out of total bill. They told me to submit relevant document and I submitted. I asked them again how much it would be claim they said whatever V J Honda make the estimate bill they will give 60%. So after replacing and servicing the total bill came Rs.6259/-. Now they are telling me they will give me claim of Rs.790/- only and I paid Insurance premium Rs. 934/- a year. What a hopeless Reliance General Insurance service is giving? Did they know anything about insurance that they jump into this business to suck common people blood by tie up with the garage people. I, Completely disappointed with Reliance staff, Mayuresh Despande, who did not handle with proper coordination. If he says before that they are not going to give a claim why should I trust in their insurance. I request IRDA to completely ban this fraud Reliance General Insurance as soon as possible.

                          Its a group policy which is take from reliance general insurance co. policy claim was approximately 72, 000 but co. was refused my claim because he said my father was alcoholic and asking do etiology test etc we already provide them whole document but still they want this all and i asked my company but they told me due to your father is alcoholic they refused your claim

                          want to know that if person having some habit for that reason causes to reject medical claim? then what is use of medical claim if company not giving its a totally cheating if we were not submitted any document at that time we accept we are responsible for this but after providing everything then also this result in this case what claimer do?

                          I know here also nothing will happen because is desh me sirf amiron ki sunni jati hai!!!

                            I just spoke to Palak Jain from Mumbai Office.
                            This is really sad that reliance do not want to sell any product.
                            I just tried to renew my policy which was purchased by 1st owner. (08/10/2016) I transferred the vehicle on my name on (06/04/2016) Policy transferred on (June, 2016).
                            1st insurance of 7, 92, 000 (IDV) was Rs. 27, 626(without B2B 17, 000)
                            2nd insurance of 6, 50, 000 (IDCV) is Rs. 26, 000
                            Initially Palak told no B2B for your later she agreed to give B2B.
                            I am not sure if this rate is fix by reliance or reliance customer care. This is really SAD
                            I am not sure if I will ever go for reliance and make sure none of my friend circle or my family go with Reliance.

                                I have a reliance general insurance policy [protected] with the name of anil kumar singh, mobile number[protected].

                                I want to renew my policy and call number of customer care but i am unable to renew it as my renew notification not generated.

                                I am totally frustrated, due date is 18/10/16.

                                Please look into this and do the needful.

                                Renewal is due in Dec 2016 we are doing follow ups and calls with Reliance RM they inform us still they also don't have renewal notice.

                                  I purchased reliance general insurance moter policy at 30sep2015 my vehicle is accidended 19sep 2016 policy validity is one year i registered my claim 19sep as same day through reliance general customer care they promise me to settle my claim 1week but they not give me satisfied answer and not settle my claim yet company have been cheated me my claim number is [protected]. Please help me

                                    I am a frequent flyer with family to USA and used to take only Reliance Travel insurance. I had returned from USA on 6/9/2016 after a stay of 120 days from 7/5/2016. When I travelled from India nto USA, there was a delay of more than 24 hours. When I put up my claim even from USA, they told me to submit the relevant documents/papers for settlement. All the documents including cancelled cheque have duly been submitted in time. I have not purchased anything at Boston due to urgency to board flight to Cleveland. Now they are insisting for receipts for the purchase of emergency items, As I am claiming compensation ONLY for Delayed baggage, please settle my claim favorably without further Delay. My emails will clarify all the genuineness in my claim.

                                      We got car insurance in the year of 2013 december and we are continuously renewing the policy without fail, we had an incident by which front glass got cracks and incident happened was while the car was parked.

                                      And due to lack of awareness my dad took help to file the claim from the insurance sales person where we bought this insurance. He did a mistake of stating it happened while driving
                                      And my dad was the driver, where as my dad never drove a car before he is aged 65 and we got this car couple years back,

                                      Car is always drove by the driver. I have tried reaching out to multiple numbers of reliance and always failed to connect to right person to resolve this issue.

                                      After that i have started email conversation with reliance customer service, they spent almost couple months promising they are trying to resolve the issue but every time they come back stating we need driver license of your dad.

                                      And for every week or so i get a different ticket number in the email subject. Assume they are closing the ticket due to escalation issues. I have also said that if you cant fix it say it. And no body in the customer service either escalate or say we cant help.
