HI,
This is to complain about the incident that happened today with my wife Rupam Pandey who ordered food from Swiggy today. Below are the order details:
Ordered from - McDonald's, Sector 29, Gurgaon
Order date - December 31st
Order Time - 9.22 pm
Was supposed to be delivered in 55 minutes
Order value - Rs 293,
ORDER #[protected] | FRI, DEC 31, 2021,
It is 12 midnight and I have not yet received the delivery. All this while I was continuously chatting with the support team and also got to speak to the customer support team twice.
For the last 2 & a half hrs, I was continuously being told that delivery will happen soon. and they are sorry for everything that happened. Sharing the screenshot of chat for your reference.
My concern & complaints are:
(1) The delivery can get delayed by 15-20 minutes and not for 2 hrs or more. If it was delayed by more than 2 hrs and this was there in the knowledge of your customer support team, why was the meal not replaced and why I was continuously told that delivery will happen soon,
(2) If the delivery is delayed beyond 30-35 minutes, it means the delivery guy is not interested in delivery and the order should be replaced..One should also be compensated for an issue like this.
In the 1st call that i was having with your support team, the call was disconnected midway without any proper resolution
Rather than talking about meal replacement & compensation, your support team keeps saying that the order will be delivered which finally got canceled after 2 and half hrs.
I have 2 kids at home and I could not get a proper meal for them today and this is very serious and shameful.
