Respected Sir / Madam,

I Nandhakumar Residing in Madipakkam Chennai, having EB Connection Number is [protected] under Circle - 400-South1., Section 302-Puzhuthivakkam.

We would like to bring to your notice that, Yesterday (31-Jan-2024) TNEB Department people came and fixed us a new meter for our domestic consumption and informed that the meter has some technical defective. and when we enquired, we come to know that meter stock is not there, so they are fixing on arrival basis. And we found that for the past month, we have paid Rs 2, 110 based on earlier consumption details.

Now we have a query, Till sep23 this time we have a hot climate and we have used Air-conditioner. However, from Oct-23 onwards we have a chill whether, and not consumed fan also during the period, and power cut during December23, Michaung cyclone for 3 days. If we took the same month last year Nov22 and Jan23 the charge was Rs 945 and 625 respectively. So we can understand the practical problems for getting the materials on time.

Our humble request you to consider the same amount what we consumed during this climate last year. Now we are making the payment for Jan24 as per the bill with protest.

      My EB meter is not working and the 2nd Jan bill that I got was for rs.5550 which is not a fair amount. There were only 2 occupants in the flat without any AC how can such high charges be levied. I want the charges to be revised to reflect a fair amount. Also EB meter needs to be replaced soon so that correct charges are levied.

        I have raised a complaint about the meter display which is not working for past 6months which was found by the meter assessor only by 18thDec2023, they haven't taken any measures till today. But they have sent the bill amount for the month of Nov-Dec which is Rs.8068/- without assessing from the meter (i.e, not working) how could they raise the bill amount? And for this month we haven't used that much electricity because of the Michung cyclone(No power for 10days) also we haven't used AC and other electronic objects much because of winter. I have raised the complainant directly to the AEO of Manali TNEB for 3times they haven't taken any measures yet. They are sending the average bill for us for more than 6months and we found the increase in bill amount since June month (Rs.8970/-) Aug (Rs.8167/-) Oct(Rs.7958/-) Nov(Rs.8068/-)
        Kindly take necessary actions as soon as possible because we are facing this difficultly for past 6 months.

          Hi,

          During the month of September, received huge bill amount. Due to there is no person available in EB office to add the current bill reading and also Meter was in defect state.

          Received bill amount of 12K. When we approached Madipakkam EB office . Mr Balaji CI offer, raised the complaint to change the bill amount .even after multiple followup . No action taken till now.

          Currently my consumer number is blocked and not able proceed further. Need some help here..

            Initially my bill amount was Rs.68 after reading was taken on 17th Nov 2023. Few days later when I checked the bill for online payment it was updated to Rs. 531. When I checked the bill details Rs. 463 got added additionally for 23100a-CC Arrears. Since i already paided the full amount of Rs. 531 on 1st Dec 2023. Could you please do the needful?

              Address: Opposite Sangam theatre and EVK Sampath Road, Chennai

              Area- Vepery Church road, Chennai-07, In this area there is frequent power cut without immediate resolution. The power was cut at yesterday night due to some issue in the transformer and when called to enquire about the same the EB officer said that it's been looked into and will be resolved in 1 hour but that didn't happen for the whole night and now he said it will be resolved by 12pm which makes it for 12hours in total without power supply. I would request you to look into the matter and resolve it as soon as possible because this repeats every single time and no immediate action is taken from your side. We pay the bill and taxes on time for seamless supply but no action is taken when required.

                We are living rams luv kush Apartments at kamakotti nagar 2nd main road..After Mitcha flood all surrounded areas power restored.but still now power is not coming here..I dont know wats happening..unable to reach EB pallikkaranai due to unreachable and unattendable calls..here lot of elders people and child .please do the needful asap

                      This month bill dated:29.10.2023 calculated with previous bill.. because they mentioned as our Home was door locked. Last several years we both are working and children went school...ther is no issues before...but they now mentioned door locked?need clarification even neighbor's told him about the matter...he roughly behave with that people...?need clarification about this issue

                        Sir,
                        We are in Virudhunagar District Rajapalayam Taluk Nallamangalam village-626111. In our Village frequently they cut the power during night times. They cut the power in 12am to 3am'.. Regularly they cut the current. We suffer a lot. Children's can't sleep at the time. Kindly take action.They cut the power daily. Quickly take action.

                          In view of the above mentioned subject I bring to your notice that we are not having proper power supply for the last few days.
                          I further submit that the above SC no’s are agriculture connections and we are not able to irrigate out crops.
                          It is further stated that in spite of several complaints no action has been taken, in fact we have been facing problems for the past one year.

                              Residents in the Mangadu Sri Amman Nagar(near Addison Nagar) area 600122 are facing frequent power cut issues. Daily there is powercut for more than 2 hours which is a huge inconvenience. No one is responding to the calls in the Managdu EB office[protected]. Also, the IVR is also not working properly. As soon as the call queue reaches queue1, the call is getting disconnected. We are not even able to raise the complaint on the power issues. Kindly look into it and take action on the frequent power cuts in the Sri Amman Nagar Area, Mangadu.

In our area one lamp post in terrible damage stage which may create injury to many lives if the post fall around 3 street may loss power supply... please take necessary safety action for lamp post to avoid accidents

                                  We have applied for agri connection by paying 2.5 lakhs on April'2023 .. when we can expect the new connection. could you kindly say the estimated time period to wait. The officers has approached our field and verified all procedure with regard to new connections.
