Am from Krishna nadhi Street, pon nagar, ponneri... In our area one lamp post in terrible damage stage which may create injury to many lives if the post fall around 3 street may loss power supply... please take necessary safety action for lamp post to avoid accidents

    We have applied for agri connection by paying 2.5 lakhs on April'2023 .. when we can expect the new connection. could you kindly say the estimated time period to wait. The officers has approached our field and verified all procedure with regard to new connections.

      I paid Rs.63 via paytm by mistakingly entering a wrong consumer number[protected]...I complained about this issue in paytm help centre but not resolved..please help me about this issue!! and the reference number is (PT013298BE8P6RT7ICVJ)!!!

            Subject: Service Tariff Has Been Changed Without Any Prior Notification/Warning - Service Number [protected]

            Ref: Section & Distribution: 139/Avudaiyarkovil (O&M) & 005-Amaradakki

            I hope this email finds your wonderful office in good health. I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that my EB connection has been changed from LA1A to LM61 since the month of April 2023, without any previous notification/warning or inspection from an EB officer/AE (Contact Number: [protected])

            I am currently living in another country. When I was in Avudaiyarkoil, I tried multiple times to go to the EB Office and meet with the concerned AE in person to discuss this matter. But he was never in his seat during office hours, so I never got to meet him. As a result, I called him and inquired about the tariff adjustment. He stated that, "I was doing my house construction in my village so that someone from the EB office could have visited and witnessed if I misused electric power from my existing house for the new construction purposes". His snarky and unverified responses surprised me because I never used the power from my existing residence and had already purchased a diesel pump-set and other tools for construction purposes cause basically I am a Civil Engineer in profession.

            I have tangible proof that I never used the adjacent electricity. You can refer to the attached electrical readings, which show that my electricity usage during the said new construction(January 2023 to March 2023) was "very less" than the government subsidy of 100 units per month. My mother, Punitha, has been the only person living in my Kanur house for the last two years, thus as you can see below, the electricity consumption has never exceeded 100 units.

            Another house construction (person named Mr. Suppu in Kannur Village) occurred near my house, despite the fact that he did not have a house of his own or any prior existing service connection there because he lives in nearby town Aranthangi. My question is, can the AE or related employees charge or compel him to pay simply because he is building a new house?

            I'd like to expand on my question: should anyone pay to TNEB just because they're undertaking new construction work, even if they never use any current resources? I am certain that no one from the Avudaiayarkovil EB office has ever seen/caught or cautioned me if I exploited the existing power for construction purposes.

            Aside from this issue, the public has lodged other complaints about the Avudaiayarkovil AE office and staff. Many occasions in 2019, 2021, and 2022, EB officials charged large sums on consumers' heads without any direct visit or assessment by an assessor. Please see the meter reading below, which displays 660 units for a modest tiled house. I've never used my house as a wedding hall or a movie theater to consume this much power. Simply said, each EB employee's incompetence or ignorance of responsibility compelled the consumer/public to pay an inflated amount. During that time, I complained to AE, but he agreed it was the EB office's misappropriation and asked me to pay only for that time period, so I did. Not just me, but so many others.

            Because of this tariff change My mother had paid around 2500 rs unnecessarily. Therefore, since there was no response from EB office and AE side, I respectfully request that you/your office treat this as my complaint and examine these issues and re-change to normal tariff before I approach the consumer court and media for further steps.

                Hi Team,

                I am E. Natarajan and address: P NO. C3 & C4, F-S3, PERUMAL NAGAR, MEDAVAKKAM. I have EB connect to my house which is rented (Consumer No [protected]), It looks like my tenant is not paid properly for the above mentioned eb bill. I came to know that after he had vacated the house. 14-Jul-2023, EB has charged for us Rs.[protected]Extra Levy) as penalty,[protected], which was paid, and it looks like it is not updated on system. However again they had charged for Rs.[protected]Extra Levy) as penalty,[protected] they had charged for Rs.[protected]Extra Levy) as penalty. We had asked multiple times to EB asked for bill, but they had asked us to pay again Rs.9768 as penalty. so totally we had paid Rs.19536 as total penalty, but EB has given bill for only Rs.9768 only, rest Rs.9768 no bill, we had asked multiple times office, but no proper response. after we paid Rs.19536, they have not put back fuse carrier for 10 days, where our new tenant family was suffering from it without power. new tenant had 1.5 year old baby, 3 Years old baby and they were working from home, so his office work also got impacted, Due to this I also went through deep mental depression and new tenant family also gone through deep mental depression, We had given complaints multiple times, but no proper response. EB office was talking very rude, abusing verbally and no respect to customer. my age is around 80 years old, due to this mentally depressed and I need resolution as early as possible and need an compensation Rs.500000 for medical expense.

                  We got eb pill payment of rs 1443 but extra they Cc arrears chargesrs.1155 even if we paid correctly within a due date...past two years we had payment history of eb bill within a due date..but now extra rs.1155 they charging even if we call eb office AE alagarsamy and Raja of department never response properly for the issue and asking to visit the office and talking badly

                            My EB number[protected] appears to be extremely high bills (19k and 18.5k) compared to earlier although I have hardly used it more than earlier. It is almost double the amount since my last 2 bills. Infact the house was locked for almost 2 weeks. Can this be checked please?

                              Since yesterday night 7pm till now no power supply. No one turned after giving repeated complaint. Moreover a lady from customer care attended and spoke badly and was missing to harass calling almost 16 times to my personal number and threatened that no power will come. Am a patient. Can't withstand. Took medicine and not slept and one day work everything gone. Who is responsible

                                  Iam residing in Kundrathur, chennai. TNEB has notified that meter status as defective but have billed for really high sum. Not sure on what basis the sum was arrived at. We have last 3bills covering (6 months), that does not have this much high value. My consumer number is[protected].

                                      I hope this complaint finds you .I am writing this complaint to bring your attention a recurring issue of frequent power outage in my area. For the past one week we are experiencing a frequent power outage whenever weather changes slightly. Over the past couple of days, we have experienced a frustrating and inconvenient disruption in our electrical supply. It appears that the power outages consistently occur during the evening hours, starting from 6 PM and lasting until midnight. These outages have left us and many of our neighbors in a state of discomfort and inconvenience .It made the students life more worse since all o[censored]s were struggling with our professional works due to power cut. While we understand that power outages can occur due to various reasons, it is particularly concerning that these disruptions seem to be associated with rainfall. As we are in the midst of the rainy season, we are worried that what will happen during the heavy rainy season. We kindly request your urgent attention to this matter and seek your assistance in resolving this issue promptly. We understand that maintaining the electrical infrastructure can be challenging, especially during adverse weather conditions, but we believe that proactive measures can be taken to prevent or minimize these disruptions. We trust in your commitment to providing reliable electricity services to our locality and hope for a swift resolution to this matter. We look forward to a timely response and resolution.

                                        TNEB COMPLAINT 01.09.2023

                                        I am having eb connection to my address named R.Kesavan consumer no [protected].
                                        Earlier there is fault in my meter reading and I made a written complaint at AE MGR NAGAR EB OFFICE in July and request them to send a person to inspect the meter.
                                        Until now nobody came to inspect, again this time again the eb amount is high. When I checked with the EB personnel who came to check the eb meter he told me there is a fault in the meter and ask me to complain at the eb office.
                                        Kindly do the needful.
