wrong billing amount in the server - difference between meter reading and the server

03.05.2019, power shutdown in our area, from 9 am to 5pm. But we received our power only after 7pm. When enquired regarding this to eb cc 1912, they said some maintenance provbem.

Now at 10 pm low voltage for all the 3 phase and we started to call 1912, who said transformer burnt and within 45 min it will be resolved

But after that 1912 is not responding to our calls. Always busy tone only.

average shortfall amount high

My consumer no is [protected]. For the month of march 2019, it was charged for 1080 units at rs. 5068/-. But, in actual just 550 units were consumed for rs. 2100/- max...

In addition to the above, there is an average shortfall of rs. 9406 is charged, but in my past history, there is no delay in payments.

Paying rs. 15104 against rs. 2100 max is affordable and hence pls reconsider the calculation.br...

power shutdown everyday

In our town we often face power shut down, i run a business and am getting affected by this very often.

meter shifting charges

This is pathy i am having 3 meter connections for my house at hosur jaishankar colony as the wires have become too old and having frequent cut off the line man suggested to change the wires and insisted to keep all the meters outside which was agreed by me but unfortunately he is demanding rs.3500 to shift the meters. Tired of the explanations from eb staffs, which are really unfair and with no other go situation, mailing to you.

My tenant was used the tneb online payment option. Now she vacated and not giving the user is and password. Now i am the new tenant how to change the user id and password of online bill payment. eb meter display blank

Hi,

Our eb meter display is blank with the back light on but there is no display. This month they should have taken reading but i have not received anything so far. Please help to resolve this asap.
I think we might be charged previous month bill which is very unfortunate since we paid more amount due to summer but since last couple of months it is rainy season in chennai, we have not used a/c and expected less power...

Now eb post is located in the corner of plot no 3369, without disturbing anyone. Due to self convenience and car parking facility for plot owner they planned to shift from original place to,

electricity reading was not taken and was not updated online

2 eb connections used by a single house to reduce electricity charges

We notice resident of the below mentioned address, have merged two flats into one single flat but the eb cards utilized is two to bring down the electricity consumption.
