I have a very bad experience with TATA Wimax internet services.
My internet was not working since 15 days.
First when I called up the customer care they told me the service itself is down.
After two days when I called them up again and was telling then to come and check the connectivity at my place .They did not come for two day.s
They said they will send the field engineer but The FE came after two days.
He checked everything and could not resolve the issue due to lack of knowleledge.

After 1 week of the complaint and making several calls to customer care I finally got the number of a field engineer but he came after 13 days of the ongoing issue.
He did something and changed the receiver box and told me that the static IP that I had was spammed and I need to send an email to [protected]@tatacommunications.com to configure a new static IP.

I have been sending emails like a fool to customer care but no response.

Why these people are not at all helping me resolve the issue.

I have paid the bill for 4 months in advance and now these people are looting me.

I want my money back.

TATA COmmunications limited closed my complaint without solving.

Tata Communications Ltd — Internet is not working after 19 days of payment

Hi,

I have made payment for New Internate connection (Tariff Plan : Infinity 256) on 9th December 2008.
Then I have wait for 9 days for installation, but instalation was not done. Then on 17th december 2008,
I have send mail regarding this to appellate authority and customer care. After that on 10th day,
18th December 2008 installation was done. After installation the concerned engineer Mr Chitaranjan
told me that instalation has been done but my LanCard is not working, when i will replace that,
net connection will work .
On next day I have replaced the LanCard, but internet connection haven't work. For that i have made a
complain ( Complain No : 8216740) on 23 December 2008. On 25th December concerned engineer Mr Neeraj
(Mobile No : [protected]) contact me and told that he will come at 11 AM . I have wait for complete day, but he
haven't come. I have called to customer care 10 times upto now, but everytime they only told me that it will be done
as soon as possible.
As u can see now 19 days have been passed and i was not able to access internate for a single minute.
Its very much frustrating and disgusting. Please resolve my complain, i will be very very thankful to you.

Tata Communications Limited — INTERNET BROADBAND CONNECTION IS NOT PROPER

Dear Sir,

We are customer of Tata Communication since last 5 years, many times we faced problem of connectivity, fluctuating browsing speed, low browsing speed etc. but it was resolved within 2 or 3 days.

This time, I am facing problems since last 15 days, but not getting proper resolution. Complain detail is given below…………

Tata Communications Limited — very poor internet service

hi,
i have an tata indicom broadband wired line connection for almost 3+ years.
My user idwith tatacommunication is [protected]@vsnl.net
For the past 5 months i have been finding lot of connectivity problems.
Inspite of raising complaint , talking with their higher officials , still the problem persists.
Every week atleast once there will be connectivity problem or local node server down problem resulting in no connectivity for minimum of one day.
recently there was a 12 days non connectivity and they told me that they will extend the validity of my account for these non connectivity days but theres no proper solution provided for me still now. this 12 days problem occured during first two weeks of november 2011. its not even o full week gone again i lost connectivity with in the next 6 days. even now its been 3 days since i have raised a complaint and the problem is yet to be solved.
kindly help me in this issue.

I am more frustrated with the internet as well as customer services of TATA Communications Limited.

Now the Bangalore team has raised another request for static IP and it will take another two days.After a wait of 15 days I have to again wait for two more days.Even after that I am not sure whether my issue is going to resolve or not.

I have just now got a call from TATA Communications asking me to pay money for static IP.

What the hell, I have paid for 4 months in advance for that damn static IP and they spammed the static IP and now they are asking money.

TATA Communications lmt is a thief who will rob you out of all your money.


I would suggest everypone not to get the TATA WIMAX i nternet connection.You will suffer a lot if you take that.

Can anybody tell me the procedure to file a care in consumer court.

    This concerns our internet connection under the username: [protected]@vsnl.net.

    I have suffered so much at the hands of Tata Communications’customer care representatives that I actually don’t know where to begindescribing my predicament.

    We have been experiencing problems with the connectivitysince 1 week and from the past 3 days there is no internet connection. Ours isa business enterprise where being online in one of the most importantprerequisites.

    I have registered a complaint so many times and nothing hashappened to rectify the problem as yet. Your customer service people have made noeffort in helping us and that coming from an organization swearing upon goingan extra mile for customer service and satisfaction is very disappointing .

    The complaint number registered today is: 14582886

    Two numbers of complaint vendors were forwarded to me:

    1. 66255517 Gulzar

    2. [protected](name not known)

    And both of them are annoyingly indifferent towards ourcomplaint. I am currently not in Delhi and have been trying to get in contactwith these two people and I have been put on hold indefinitely, hung up on,been spoken to rudely or simply blanked.

    We have been losing out on our business and revenue since somany days and Tata Communications is doing nothing about it.

    The list goes on and on and therefore, my anger,helplessness and irritation know no bounds.

    I NEED THIS SORTED AT THE EARLIEST AS I WILL NOT PAY FORSOMEONE ELSE’S INCOMPETENCY, MISCOMMUNICATION AND MISBEHAVIOUR. I NEED COMPENSATION FOR MYREVENUE LOST. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT WILL BE DONE REGARDING THIS AS WE HAVE ALWAYSBEEN DELIGENT CUSTOMERS.

    I INTEND TO TAKE THIS FURTHER BECAUSE OF THE ILL-TREATMENT AND LOSS I SUFFERED BECAUSE OF TATA COMMUNICATIONS.

      I have been struggling to get a high speed broadband connection from Tata communications limited. It is just turning out to be a nightmare.

      I initiated an email enquiry regarding a new connection on April 5th 2012. I finally managed to get someone home to collect the documents on April 16th 2012. He stated that I needed to pay 1 months rent in advance to avoid the security deposit + installation charges.

      They promised me that the connection will be provided in 3 working days. When I enquired on the 4th day, they said they were waiting for the approval for laying the fiber optic cable to my house and it should be ready in the beginning of next week.

      After a couple of days, the TCL representative called me again to say that they wanted an additional payment of 1 extra month (because there is bigger infrastructure cost). Once I pay that they promised me that the connection will be available in 3 days.

      Since I had already paid my first month, I agreed to pay the additional amount ( I actually paid for 4 months upfront to get 1 month service free) on April 24th.

      They promised to get me the connection by April 26th. When I followed up with them, they sent a lineman to run a cable inside the house. Once he was done, they promised me that the engineer will come with the modem to set up the connection. It is been 2 days and numerous phone calls and it has not happened yet.

      DO NOT pay any money upfront. This just seems to be a very bad customer service department. I must have made 30 calls to them and they never return the calls.

      Tata Communications Ltd — Regarding broadband connection

      This regarding my broadband connection cancelation,due to non availability of connection in my area.And i was told that i would be refunded my balance amount , but till date i have not recieved any refund.

        Hi All,

        This mail was marked to many departments of TATA because of the pathetic customer grievance cell and there is no response since past few days. I have also escalated this issue to Mr. Anil Kumar Sardana (Managing Director - Tata Teleservices Ltd)

        My internet account number is[protected] and these are all the complain ticket#[protected],[protected],[protected]

        I have a Tata Internet connection and i have been facing an issue since February 2012. If somebody from Tata had taken some keen interest in solving it earlier this issue should had not gone out of hands. I am sorry to say I have been CHEATED and LIED twice from Tata representatives.

        Since 2 years i have a Tata DSL DS 212 B3G1F-399 plan and been paying on time. I had made my last payment in December 2011 of Rs 1320 for four months, its an advance rental plan wherein I could use my internet connection till 26th February 2012. I got a call from the rep in Jan 2012 that you could change your plan to DS413-ADSL-512kbps-599 with just Rs 100 more cost to your original plan wherein you can pay for three months and get one month free. I said YES because there was only Rs 100 more to my existing plan. In Feb 2012 i received a bill of Rs 2900 for which i realized that the plan was for only three months and one month free was not a part of it.

        So therefore during first week of Feb 2012 i called up and emailed concerned departments to change the new plan to my old plan and to NULLIFY the new bill and to send me a bill for my old plan. ALL THIS WHILE MY OLD PLAN WAS GOING ON TILL 26TH FEB. So i said just give me the bill of my old plan wherein i could make future payment of my existing plan.

        But to my surprise NO ONE from Tata could solve such a simple issue. They could have just given me a new bill of my old plan and I could have continued after 26th Feb as normal. All Feb and March i was trying to solve this issue and my Father had to visit Tata gallery also to just make them explain the issue. Nobody could take the onus and solve this issue and at the end in second week of March i had to mail to discontinue my connection so that I am not penalized for using the internet more than 26th Feb.

        On March 12 the internet was disconnected and I had lost hopes of solving the issue. For one month i had received a couple of calls from recovery agent to clear the outstanding amount but i clearly mentioned them that the bill was an advance rental bill for which i will not pay because I have not used it. So to make it simple and clear just because of pathetic customer care at TATA i had to cancel my connection.

        To top it up on 10th April 2012 i received a call from Maker company rep which is an outsourcing agent for TATA that if I pay Rs 1320 then they will start my old connection plan. THIS AMOUNT IS WHAT I USED TO PAY FOR MY ORIGINAL PLAN. The representative told me that we will start again your connection if you make the payment and then you can use your old plan. The rep also told that the minimum speed at TATA has increased from 128kbps to 512kbps so with your new plan you will get 512kbps speed. After a lot of assurance from the rep i agreed to it informed to make the payment. The rep told me that if I could pay today itself then only the connection can be started. I made the payment by cheque on 10th April itself to one of the collection guys who was sent to my house. The rep informed me that the connection will start in a day and she guarantees that there would be no issue.

        To my surprise the internet is not started till date and when i call the TATA customer care i get an answer that you need to make the balance payment of your previous bill and that the collection people LIED to YOU about starting your old plan.

        I am furious now that twice have been CHEATED by TATA on such a small issue.

        For this issue my father who is a senior citizen had to visit the TATA gallery twice and so many times he has called up to complain and check the status. My father had to go bear all the mental strss just to solve this issue. I am really really angry on the way this issue was handled. I just don't know why cant anyone from TATA take the onus of solving this issue and to make sure that these things does not happen with other customer too.

        This issue was mailed earlier to the NODAL office but had no response from them too, just cant understand why do you have departments and mention on bill for issues mail to this address and still does not have the courtesy to to reply to your emails. Please stop fooling people and wasting their time in raising complaints at various departments. I have all the proofs of on what date i have mailed to what departments and also in your records you would have all my calling details.

        If this issue is not solved by 18th April I will take up this issue to Public Grievances Cell of DOT and National Consumer Helpline.

          we innovativesoftwaresolutions registered a domain & webhosting on 26 feb 2012 after 15 days by making so many calls to customer care the
          website is started after 2 days it was not loading bcz of some reason i raised a complaint regarding that but till today ie 28 march 2012 the problem is not solved and there is no reply and response from customer care.

          i request not to take any services from tata communications.

            Hello

            My name is Kiran, i have been using TATA communications broad band service since 2 months. While taking the connection i have explained the representative that i would be shifting my home after two months and TATA will have to shift the connection to my new house and the TATA representative agreed with that and they also said that the process is very easy only thing i have to do is i can call him and let him know the new address he would take care of it.

            I have shifted my house and i have done the same thing as the representative told me, i have called him and explained the situation he listened and asked me to call the customer care at[protected]. I have called the tata customer care and explained them the situation and they have asked him to lgoin to the online portal and make a request for shifting of connection, as advised i have raised a case 14389698
            with tata communications through online and initially i was told that it would take only 48 hours to shift the connection. I had waited for 48 hours and called them back and then they said it would take 98 hours then i had waited for 98 hours in between i made lot of call to the customer care and they tell only one thing and that "Your ticket is in progress" now that its been 1 week and i don't have internet connection.

            I am calling tata customer care but they tell only one thing and that i have to wait and someone would call me before coming to my home but honestly i have never receied any call from anyone.
            I had applied this connection so that i would access my office network for emergency issues and now that i don't have internet connection all the issues i am suppose to handle from home is not happening and this creates a bad impact before my boss asking for excuses every day at work which is anoying.

            It would be great if someone could help me out to get the connection as soon as possible as i have paid 4 months rental at a time.

              I am having TATA Communications SME Broadband connection. I am facing connectivity problem in every alternate days. After calling customer support they are switch on the internet connection. I think they are controlling internet broadband connection. They may switch off and switch on the internet connection giving trouble to the customer. How the internet connection is switch on after giving telephonic call to customer support ? This is not fare deal. This is to be rectified. It is my humble request that customer should not be given trouble in any cost.

              TATA provides the worst internet services. I called their customer service may times. all I heard is 'power is down', 'server is down', "Why TATA is still UP". I would not recommend TATA broadband connection to SMEs. Go for some one else who can provide you good customer service. TATA's executive are rude, they dont even listen to you. Giving false commitment is their hobby. DONT USE IT . I AM NOT TATA's Competitor...

                I am Dinesh kumar- Very new customer which purchase TATA Wimax broadband service on 18th Feb 2012.
                1) Excutive name- Vishal (Sales executive) , Phone no- [protected]

                First day he met with me and promise for all support in any case, He offer me - for first 4 Month advance bill payment and No installation charges will taken.
                AS I am professional software engineer and I always needs high speed internet connection then - I accept his offer for long term. I give my all genuine documents as well payment too.

                Later next day , Tata other installation work process started and they do all work.
                Today - on 20Feb2012 - only 1 day later, whenever I started my internet then - that adapter was not working.
                -- Whenever I checked this all connections then i saw - its old adapter , its loooks very old like scratched and very dirty in looks.
                On the other hand , i tried to connect it properly , but it was not working. I really dont know- why it was not working?

                Then I tried to call to Vishal (Sales executive). I told him all problems, because, he give me connection and I know him only in this deal.

                But he respond me -
                - I really cant help you in this case because , I am in sales and you just complaint to 60607070.
                - I complaint there- and complaint number is[protected]. , Date: 20Feb2012 .
                - Later , I also call VISHAL (Sales executive) He said - I am sorry , I cant help you and whenever i told him that - The Adapter is Old and not brand new then Vishal told me- We give you free installation and we never do Brand New Adapter.

                WHat was that -
                I purchase first time TATA communication broadband with advance payment - and - he said - they provide used devices in their services.

                What a stupid thing with TATA communication or with this - Stupid Sales Executive - VISHAL.


                Secondly, I need to use this broadband connection for LAN Server with networking , and whenever I discuss with VISHAL then - He again told me- I cant do because I dont do this work. He said- you should go for this privately and ask to any network engineer,
                What a stupid thing -

                An Internet service provider company always provide networking service. But according to VISHAL (Sales executive) they never .

                I would like to complaint about it to TATA Communications - New Delhi .

                I need your action with in 24 hours otherwise - refund my all money , I can purchase Reliance or any other internet connection.

                I trust on Vishal which is really stupid guy - and I give me advanced payment of 4 months.

                But now - if with in 24hours , my internet would not work , then I need to request you TATA communications , to make refund and I never use your service.

                Fixed...its finished now... Not satisfied with TATA service... its long time being. Never prefer this choice... as u know TATA wimax closed in india now.

                  I got Tata broadband for 3 months 2 years back, since I was working from home for my company. However, I noticed that I was not able to connect to my office VPN using tata internet, after a 100 calls to customer care, the issue was still not resolved, so I decided to go with a different service provider. I called up Tata customer care and asked them to disconnect and take back the routers and other devices. They disconnected internet, but no one came to collect any items. So, after a month or so, I removed the wires and called up customer care and asked them to send me disconnect confirmation. They sent a person to my house who took the router and left saying all dues are settled and there is no further payment to be made.

                  Now, after 2 years, I receive a legal notice asking me to appear before Lok Adalat asking me to make pending payment.

                  Any help here is appreciated...my phone no. is +91-[protected].

                    I was having problem with connection for 1 month and TATA was unable to solve the same and they informed me that they will refund the balance amount within 45 days of termination. Almost 6 months have been passed I havent received my refund. I have called up customer care and nodal officer so many times, but no response. What a worst company.

                    Can anyone help me in this matter?

                      One fake invitation letter has been received by my daughter. As it is suspicious, she had forwarded the scanned copy of the letter me.
                      1. The contact numbers are not working.
                      2. There is no land line numbers.
                      3. This is for the first time some one is asking to deposit Rs.8,300/- as secured deposit and after atht they will be sending the Flt tickets etc and also one accompany is allowed.
                      4. The bank a/c etc were not given for deposit. They are contacting over cell phone as per the resume which was uploaded and they are asking to deposit in some personal account.

                          TATA Communications Broadband services has harassed me by lying, making me wait day after day, behaving rudely, and has committed fraud by taking more money. Till now there is no connection and no response from the customer care team (including the nodal officers). My service request and refund request seem to have gone unheard. Its entire episode is now almost a month long.

                            I contacted Mr. Akbar about broadband services and was told by him that i needed to pay Rs 2000 and i would get broadband installed and free 2 months connection and he gave us contact # of Mr. Matheen.

                            When i met Mr. Matheen the next day for registration i was told that the plan mentioned to me was not available so i told him that i will not register but then he sent me a message that same evening that the plan was approved by his boss. I was also told that if i pay in the morning i will get the connection by evening the same day.

                            I registered for a broadband connection on 10/09/2011 (Ref # : 1998432) and also paid Rs 2206/- on the same day. Mr. Chandrashekar had come for registration and to collect the money. Even at that point i was told that i will get the connection latest by sunday(11/09/2011) evening.
                            sunday came and went and there was no connection. i called on monday morning and was told that i will get it by evening and still nothing happened. Next day he told me that he is waiting for approval from his boss for the plan. and then on all i have heard from them is stories and lies upon lies...

                            This continued for 8 more days and still nothing happened. I finally demanded for refund and told Mr Matheen very specifically that if i do not get refund before 2PM on 17/09/2011 i will log a complaint and he assured me that i will get the refund before the said date and time.

                            Today is 19th and there is still no proper responce from neither Mr Matheen nor Mr Akbar about the refund.
                            I have wasted 9 precious days and all i got was lies from all concerned persons.
                            I also have phone numbers of all concerned people and the SMS's that were sent from them if it is needed.

                              We had purchased a domain name from Tata Communications (VSNL) in 2007 and Business mail service in early 2008 for email ids under domain name "hytechcommunications.co.in" The business mail service was being renewed annually and last renewal was in March 2011. Our domain name was purchased for 5 years and is ours till december 2012.
                              On 8th August 2011 we noticed that we were not able to send or receive emails and we contacted Tata Communications over phone and subsequently by email and lodged our complaint. After some days of being passed from one customer care exective to another we were informed that we have tried to create our emails on Tata Communications domain name and that it was an illegal action by us.
                              They completely ignore the fact that we have been sending and receiving emails since 2008 till 8th august 2011 on our own email addresses using our own domain name,and the email service has been disrupted only since the 8th of August 2011. Annually we have been renewing our business email account with them.
                              At this point I called up the Nodal officer North and while he understood the situation was unable to sort out our problem. I requested him to immediately release our domain name so that we could transfer our domain name to an alternate Email service provider of our choice, but they are not providing us with details like CRN No and Password which are essential to migrate our domain name.
                              Our business has been suffering as a number of our customers are unable to contact us as all emails being sent to us [protected]@hytechcommunications.co.in are bouncing off we have lost a lot of business because of this.
                              To all my emails to tata Communications I get a standard reply that they need 72 hours. They repeatedly ask me why I want to discontinue the service although all the emails are together in a chain giving a complete background of the complaint.
                              I want them to immediately release my domain name and refund the charges I have paid for the services of Business mail till 26th March 2012.

I have seen many complain on this company (tata india ltd) how can tata is quite they are freely using their logo to mislead the peoples and abolishing the TATA co's logo. see guies its still happening resently on of my friend have got a mail from same company name i have attached the snap shot of that please go through it. no one is doing anything thats why they are having this dare to do this they are like torchring my friend that they will hack his profile from times job and naukari.com, it a simple commen sence that no one from a reputed company will talk and do like this.

                                so my request is for ethical hackers to do something for this because it will not stop if we will not do anything from our side.

                                    I had requested for a disconnection on 5th Jan for which i already had a autoreply from their customer card but TATA has been saying that i raised the request on 12th Jan... The Customer Service says that i had requested it on 12th Jan, I had sent them screenshots of email by me and Autoreplies of their CS and still they don't agree to that.... If i have received a AutoReply from tatacommunications then there must be a log of it. I have got TWO AUTO-REPLY emails from tatacommunications for the same....

                                    Customer Service disconnected my link on 12th of JAN and my billing period starts from 11th. Now they want me to pay Rs 375. Now why should i pay when i had already raised the request before the billing starts for the month.

                                    I have a clean history with TATA Communications for bill payments and I would have paid the outstanding if it was genuine... Their people don't work and expect the customers to pay for it!!!!!!!! that's something which is not done.

                                    Now today TCL has sent me a Notice by their Advocates, I just don't understand how they work. The issue is still pending and i'm still waiting for a reply from their departments and I get a notice!!!!!!!

                                    Kindly help me in this regard

                                      Have requested for TATA broadband connection on 22nd Mar'11 and a sales guy Mr. Ajay Kumar Yadav and his contact no. is [protected], came from the comany TATA Communications, noida sec-10 office and after inspecting he commited that internet broadband connection can be installed easily here and took all the cheque and all the necessary documents from us...very next day engineer came and check the site and told us connection can't be installed here and went back and then i called up Ajay kumar yadav and also to his senior Neeraj but haven't any proper feedback from them....now i want my cheque and document return form them and don't want to suffer due to wrong commitments form the TATA company peopole..kindly look into this matter at the earliest.

                                        I recieved sms from TD-HRDINFO, your resume selected so download your letter by this link-www.ifile.it/f8n192y and i was download letter but i felt may be it [censored] so reply me it [censored] or not.
                                        and in this letter they demand 7, 250/- rupees, and also give id: [protected]@tech-center.com and contact number is [protected], [protected] and the person sent this is by Mr.Subash Harsversdhan (HR Manager)
                                        of TATA INDIA LIMITED
                                        A/142-MIDC, INDUSTRIAL AREA,
                                        CHINCHPOKLI, MUMBAI-400011,
                                        MAHARASTRA, (INDIA).

                                        PLEASE SIR INFORM ME THIS LETTER AND THE PERSON IS FRAUD OR NOT I AM WAITING FOR YOUR REPLY. please take step against such kind of people its company's responsibility.
