I had arranged for a tv repair technician in sector 43 faridabad, who was scheduled to come at 5 pm (8th august). I got a message at 5 pm saying, the technician has cancelled, and you can book another appointment.
As inconvenient as it was, i booked another appointment for 7:30 pm. Around 7:25 pm, i get a message from the technician saying he is not able to get through my number. Immediately i call him back. I'm told that he’s been trying to contact me from the last 1 hour and 30 mins, and because he could not get through, he can not come.
Firstly, why is he calling me from the last 1 hour 30 mins, if my appointment is at 7:30. Even if i were to assume, that he has been diligent and been 'calling' me, why did he or the company not message me before 7:25 pm, that they are not able to get through to me.
At the very instance i got the message from the technician, i called him back, only to hear that he is not going to show up as he couldn’t get through. How unprofessional is that?
On top, he is asking me to cancel and get a refund. I waited an entire day, only to get two cancellations, and hear this nonsensical story of how the technician tried to reach out, but he was not able to come.
You have taken my home address, other than the money in advance, the technician did not have the common sense to just show up at my doorstep at the given time, if at all my phone was not available.
I then went on the uc app, to cancel my appointment, and now the appointment is nowhere to be seen, and i have not even got my refund.
It does not end here, i'm later called by a representative, to not cancel the appointment, and they would reschedule me for 9th august, 10 am, and he would personally follow up. Once again i get a message at 9:45 saying the appointment has been cancelled. Is this some sort of a joke. It's almost 1:30 in the afternoon, still no call back or reply to my emails.
Been the most tormenting experience, i do not want any more appointments from uc, all i want is my refund.
