We booked a plumber through urban company. The guy came and checked the work. It's a work for my restaurant.

He asked for 3000 rs for material, we paid in cash as he said we cannot pay online for material and went to take the material. He then came next day and started the work.

In between he said he need more materials and asked to give him 2500 rs more. We paid in cash. Than he asked us to cancel the booking as he is going to take material and if we will not cancel the booking than his ratings will get downgraded. So we did as he said.

It was yesterday morning, he gave us his personal number also. But since than we are trying to call him. He has blocked my number.

He has fled with my 5500 rs.

I have all the recorded conversations with him which was done over call.

I have checked online also and this guy had done fraud earlier also. Check the below link

We had a Con call with Plumber and Urban Company Representative Mr. Abhishek yesterday. In which Plumber accepted that his intentions was to do fraud but he promised to come yesterday itself. But he never turned up and blocked all my numbers.

We did not pay the money to any random plumber whom we found on the the Road. This guy was sent by the Urban Company. So if they have such employees who are working with them only to do the Fraud than its the fault of company that they are not taking strict legal actions against such employees.

I have already dropped 2 emails to your email ID but did not get any call back. Kindly arrange a call back.

    I reside in pune, india and and have been trying to get a haricut service at home - for the past 01 week. I have tried several times and always get a message that no professionals are avaialble and that urban clap would get back to me, as and when the next availabe time slot is available.

    Is this service discontinued, as it should not be a recurring issue.

      Dear sir/madam,

      I had given my tv for repair around 15 days back, it was returned to me after 2 days however with a damage to it. After repair there is a green line visible on the tv. Have been complaining about the same since the day of issue however there is no complaint number given or resolution that ia being provided.

      Have attached the print screen of the damage on the tv. Kindly check and help to address the issue on priority.

        On 28th may first service was done and we paid rs. 444/- by cash. Machine was completely rectified and service engineer mr. Md. Moin uddin has mentioned that there is some problem in pc board and charged rs. 3, 000/-. The machine has hardly worked for 3 days and the same problem was repeated. Your service engineer mr. Moin uddin has visited another 2 times and made some futile attempts and could not repair the machine. Now the machine is not in working condition. I have through mobile app lodged complaints several times. But no response at all. Your service engineer is also not lifting his phone. We really feel bad having paid total amount of rs. 3, 444/- for servicing of washing machine your urban company could not service it and has put me in hardship. With this bitter experience we are loosing faith and confidence on urban company.

        Subsequent to my complaint new technician has come on 7th aug'20 and checked the washing machine. He mentioned that previous technician has given wrong connections and due to which pc board and other parts of the machine like sensor and others got damaged and need to be replaced. The technician has told that total cost will be around rs. 8, 000/-. Then urban company representative has come into conference call with me and the new technician mr. Syed akbar and started negotiation. First of all there is no mistake of ours in this entire process. All the damage happend is due to the wrong connections given by the urban company's previous technician only which is confirmed by the second technician mr. Akbar. Why shall a customer be punished for the mistake of incompetent technicians hired by the urban company. Ultimately urban company has negotiated with me for another rs, 4, 000/- to get it completely repaired. I was forced to agree for this since i don't have any other alternative and i am badly struck with urban company.

        New technician has taken away on 7th the pc board and other damaged parts for replacement and promissed that washing machine will be repaired within 3 days i. E., by 10th of aug'20. Now when i called him he he says that the pc board is complete;y damaged and company is not responding for replacement. I have lodged a complaint on 10th evening for their response. They have not responded to my complaint also.

        I sincerely feel i did a blunder mistake choosing the urban company.

        I humbly request to escalate the issue to the concerned officers and help me for resolving the issue.

        What is there to write. I have given you the whole story. Now it your turn to take action on it. Being a corporate Company have some ethics and professionalism in giving the service. You can't expect the customer to wait for months together and waste our valuable to sit and communicate with you. I have already provided above all the details and now if you have even 1 % intention to resolve the problem, without wasting time any further resolve the problem within 24 hrs. For gods sake, don't use dragging techniques with few beautiful English words. I request you to repair my Washing machine which is completely spoiled by your technician.

          I am writing this mail to lodge a formal complaint against you`re professional and against you`re app response

          Firstly, i had booked a car wash service on 9th august 2020 at 4 pm. You`re representative came almost 1 hour late. After the car wash he tricked me into giving him a 5 star rating as he said it will help him in getting leads from nearby area and also gave me his personal number so that i call him personally for my another car wash.
          After i checked the car, i found out that he had completely broken and detached my car`s right side roof wiser and silently put it on that same place so that i could not find out the damage in his presence. After calling him and informing about the same, he said he would come the very next day (Today) at 10 am morning.
          Since morning i am calling him and he does not even bother to respond my calls.
          I also complained through the app but it always says we will call you back and there is no call back since morning.

          This is really pathetic treatment which i have received from you're company. I want urgent action to be taken or return my money along with the damage caused by you're executive.

            He took our ceiling fan coil to repair and yet not returned back. Now he also not answering my calls. It's been more than 10 days.

            I am warning your company kindly connect with him and get my fan coil returned as soon as possible.

              The plumber this company provided wasted months. He came to work the same day i booked. Took 500rs from me disappwared. We kept calling but he would keep lying. Came after a week. Changed the pipe and left sink in unusable position. Disappeared again. Since then it's a month, he's not come back neither gives us any receipts of 500rs. He called me once saying he ll transfer funds but he needs otp n i suddenly realized he's lying. He needs otp so he can finish the service but my service is still on. If it's not resolved i'm gonna file an fir against this company and plumber

                I had arranged for a tv repair technician in sector 43 faridabad, who was scheduled to come at 5 pm (8th august). I got a message at 5 pm saying, the technician has cancelled, and you can book another appointment.

                As inconvenient as it was, i booked another appointment for 7:30 pm. Around 7:25 pm, i get a message from the technician saying he is not able to get through my number. Immediately i call him back. I'm told that he’s been trying to contact me from the last 1 hour and 30 mins, and because he could not get through, he can not come.

                Firstly, why is he calling me from the last 1 hour 30 mins, if my appointment is at 7:30. Even if i were to assume, that he has been diligent and been 'calling' me, why did he or the company not message me before 7:25 pm, that they are not able to get through to me.

                At the very instance i got the message from the technician, i called him back, only to hear that he is not going to show up as he couldn’t get through. How unprofessional is that?

                On top, he is asking me to cancel and get a refund. I waited an entire day, only to get two cancellations, and hear this nonsensical story of how the technician tried to reach out, but he was not able to come.

                You have taken my home address, other than the money in advance, the technician did not have the common sense to just show up at my doorstep at the given time, if at all my phone was not available.

                I then went on the uc app, to cancel my appointment, and now the appointment is nowhere to be seen, and i have not even got my refund.

                It does not end here, i'm later called by a representative, to not cancel the appointment, and they would reschedule me for 9th august, 10 am, and he would personally follow up. Once again i get a message at 9:45 saying the appointment has been cancelled. Is this some sort of a joke. It's almost 1:30 in the afternoon, still no call back or reply to my emails.

                Been the most tormenting experience, i do not want any more appointments from uc, all i want is my refund.

                  I have been an ardent fan o[censored]rban clap and praised it to the moon to everyone, but i regret to say that i was wrong.
                  My air conditioner was not cooling so the urban clap technician was called to attend the same who advised that it needs gas to which i agreed and gas was filled promising a warranty of 3 months. But within a month the problem has reoccured. I lodged a complaint to which i did get a call back with an assurity that my problem shall be resolved with the scheduling of revisit of the ac technician. No one came and i have raised a complaint numerous times on the portal but no action is being taken. This is extremely disappointing.

                    Today we scheduled a pest control for beg bugs at my place.
                    When he arrived he never mentioned that we need yo cover face or we should move out to some open place so tht we dont inhale or we dont get in contact with disinfectant so we stayed in house during the process but after he was gone we all my whole family started getting irritated skin and burning sensations

                        One o[censored]rban clap vendor nitin sule, from mahalaxmi electronics took my tv electronics board on 24 april 2019 i. E. More than a year ago and never fixed it nor returned it. Now what should i do because when i tried to report it to urbanclap it is showing that warranty is no more valid. What should i do with a tv without a board?
                        Send someone to collect it as well.

                        I have lost all my patience now. Its been more than a year.

                        Take the necessary action and resolve this issue as soon as possible.

                          Issues: washing machine was squishing sound when running.

                          What happened:

                          1. We booked a complain on urban company. A professional came in and said he have to change the drum and took the drum assembly with him.

                          2. After 3 days, he came back and installed the drum assembly and took 7498 rs as charge.

                          3. After 3 washes, we noticed the washing machine was making terrible sound while spinning.

                          4. Called the service professional, he made some adjustment. Same issues happend after 3 washes.

                          5. This repeated 5 time.

                          6. Frustrated, called oem professional to validate the issues. The person from oem said, that the drum is not changed and opened (Seal was intact) and the suspension is destroyed, that needed to be changed.

                          7. Complained to the customer care on 8/06/2020, they asked to book a another appointment and i don't have to pay any further cost. The new professional said, he won't come since its a pending issues from the other professional.

                          8. Escalated the same to the customer care, they said they have escalated the issues to the manager and we will get a call. But till this date we havent received any call

                          Had a call with representative from Urban company. They promised to reimburse our money, if we get our machine repaired by authorised service provider of OEM.

                          We had made the repair and sent the bill as proof in the email chain. Haven't heard from them since last 2 weeks.

                            I could not find proper color selection consultant, guidance. The consultants focused only on order booking. I am not happy with the house paint work done by urban.

                            I have chosen this color as per catalog (Only 4 pages received) which is given by consultant amit vichare

                            Advisor amit vihare (Mb no [protected]) suggested me only two combinations, firstly he suggested only one color which was already in the wall apart from this color, he did not suggest any color. Many times i was asking them color combinations. He then suggested another color combination of only l122 / 7170. Apart from this, he was not advising anything.

                            I am first time doing painting work, as per the catalogue i am not able to understand the color shade, i was asking to advisor amit vichare for real wall color photos he send me only 5 to 6 reference photos, how can i choose only from 5 to 6 photos. I was expecting more advice about color selection, but i did not get. According to the catalogue, i searched each and every number on the asian paints website to see what the shed looked like and finally i selected 7767

                            Now the actual look is not as i expected. All issues already i told on the whatsapp group which is created by advisor amit vichare. I was expected from urban team i. E sunaina salunke (Mb no. [protected]), pradeep (Mb no. [protected]), amit vichare (Mb no [protected]), unknown one (Mb no.[protected]) someone to said two words about the highlighter, but no one was interested in the issue. Only the names are on the group.

                            Now i have no expectations from the people in this group, they are just audiences who are enjoying the show.in fact, i've had the worst experience with urben.

                            Can anyone help me with this issue. Team (Sunaina salunke -[protected], pradeep-[protected], amit vichare -[protected], unknown one – [protected]) that is assigned by urabn for my home painting, no one was responding. I am not happy with the house paint work done by urban.

                              I have booked carpenter services for 1st august and paid advance charges of rs. 694/-. Urban company gave me a call in the evening, telling inability to provide carpenter. The service was cancelled against non performance.
                              Today (4/8/20), i have got a refund message of rs. 445/-.
                              Why the entire mount has not been refunded?

So better to cancell booking and i will do in less price personaly... And now he bullsgit bot picking my call... His nuber is [protected]... I have full recording in my cctv... It's my last warning to him as well as your company... Take a strict action against him any how... Otherwise i have to complain against your employee and also for ur company as well as he wear ur company dress his full recording is with me... Take action immediately and revert me... My mail id

                                  We have been fooled by your service executive Santosh. We already had the copper pipe for re- installation of split ac at my home. Santosh has said that your copper pipe has been bend from two sides, hence it cannot be fitted and you have to buy a new pipe. For this he installed 3 mtr. copper pipe, and asked 750 rs. per meter, whereas market rate of a good quality copper pipe is not more than 150 rs. per meter!!
                                  So for 3 meter copper...

                                      My TV display had a problem and have booked a professional through Urban Company. Mr. Umair Said Jafri, has been assigned by Urban Company and he took the TV for repair on 3 May 2020. He estimated that it will around Rs 8000 for repair and also informed he is replacing the TV panel. After a few days, he called and informed that he needs to replace the TV display board also and charged Rs 3000 more, so a total of Rs 11000. He delivered the TV by 19 May 2020 and I paid Total of Rs 11249.

                                      Within a day of delivery, the TV display showed horizontal lines. I have raised the concern in the Urban company and the same professional has been assigned to repair it. Urban Company customer care professional also assured that since the same problem has arisen again, it will be covered under insurance. Mr. Umair has picked the TV by 27 May 2020 and said that he will repair. After that Mr Umair never responded to the call and absconded. After a lot of follow up from my side, the professional delivered the TV and charged Rs. 8000 by 18 June 2020. While Installing the TV only, it was observed that the problem is not been rectified and the horizontal lines are sill visible. The professional also acknowledged the same.

                                      For more than a month, I have been reaching Urban Company customer care to resolve the issue. A new technician was assigned to do a check on the TV. He visited by 10 July 2020 and confirmed that TV has got the display issue and also confirmed that Mr. Umair has done considerable damage to the TV in name of repair.

                                      After this Urban Company went silent and it's been more than a month now since I have raised the complaint. Neither Urban company nor the concerned professional is responding to this issue anymore.

                                      I think the urban company has taken customer for granted and they abscond when there is an issue.

Very pathetic customer care support where voice of the customer is muted and no customer orientation. They just mint money.

                                      Soo far no one called me from Urban Company. Again a fake update from Urban Company that I will get a call by 11 am today. Seems Urban company has got " taken for granted" attitude.
