i fully paid for the water purifier on Jan 2nd and installation was done few days later. Technician said Booster pump is needed as well and asked me to pay extra 2500 which i refused. Urban company gave me 2000 credits for the booster pump and told me that they will arrange the installation of booster pump. Current status is Technician came and uninstalled the water purifier as well and now im without water and uninstalled machine at home for past 5 days. Customer service is not responding and not arranging technician to come.
When i asked for the return and refund as they are already uninstalled the machine - they are denying that as well.

Bottomline - i paid 14k for the machine and its sitting in my kitchen uninstalled with no further status update from URban Company.

    Did AC cleaning and same day AC stopped cooling. When checked they told gas leaked. Without investigation or checking they said gas leakage will not be covered in warranty. If the technician had handled carelessly while cleaning and damaged the gas pipe then why should I bear the expense. Without checking they are trying to escape from responsibilities. At this rate, they can come for cleaning damage some part of the unit intentionally and then charge additionally to fix that issue. This is just customer fleecing

        Refund of payment for Plumbing. Services not delivered

        I had made a payment of Rs.568/- to Urban Company on 7th Jan, 2024 for plumbing services. I received a call from a plumber from Uban Company saying he is in Marathalli and could not come to CV Raman Nagar. I reached out to Urban Company a bot answered and would not give me the contact number of a human. Later I received a message from Urban Company saying my refund would be transferred to my account within 3 -4 days. I have still not received...

        Icicident Description : I booked my Gyser service through Urban company on 7th Jan and was attendednt by them same day. The technician advised that heating element is to be change and will cost 2200 which I agreed and he chaged it today. I got invoice from Urban company showing service charge, Elelent cost (1600) and GST totaling to INR 2120 and it also shws 250 to be adjusted which was paid earlier. I approved and paid it online . later there was one 180 Rs amount was also added as one of the connecting pipe was also changed. however, when asked about waranty card for element,
        a) he first handed a bank waranty card and when I asked for the dealer stamp, he told GST invoice will be requred to I need to pay extra which I refused.
        b) Than he told that only UC warrant applies and he will not share any bill whereas UC representaive who called for raising additional amount invoiced, told technician will only provide supporting for material warranty.
        c) When cchased and confronted, Urban company, smartly rasied invoice not shwing material cost of heating element (its only showing pipe as material) and wrongly showing 1700 Rs as service charge (by the way which is not there for any gyser service even on their site) to avoid responsibility of any product related warranty as there warranty section says 30 days for service and for material it says no warranty for any material which is not billed (means whatever is billed, it should be under standard warranty as per material catagory, heating element is usually for 1 year)

        Now, when asked for the Invoice, they have shared a invoice, not showing charges for element as a line item (which is charged to me) and warranty should be provided.

        Uraban company should be penalised for such unethical practices and compensation for harrasment should provided to me. Moreover, they have not provided any compalint No or mail id for raising gravience and geting it addressed with them. Only chat option is provided so the records cant be kept.

          Wrong Invoice / Rude Executives

          Hi,

          I have multiple issues to share with you, starting with the fact that I contacted customer care to settle an issue regarding the wrong invoice that I was given.

          I booked a TV installation last evening through urban company - my very first booking on urban company app. The technician Suresh Arrived on the dot at 9:30 AM and finished the installation by about 10:15 AM.

          Yesterday (28.12.2023) I requested for technician's visit for some plumbing work on the website o[censored]rban company partner. Soon I received a call from phone number[protected] claiming to be the representative o[censored]rban company and asked me to click on some links (attached) and asked me to fill my name phone number etc. Later he asked me to pay Rs.10. I tried to pay only Rs.10 through my credit card of Standard Chartered Bank and waiting for otp to authenticate the transaction. Meanwhile I received a message that Rs.50, 000 is debited. I realized that a fraud has taken place and immediately called the customer care representative of Standard Chartered Bank and requested him to block the card for further transactions. Subsequently I received three OTPs for Rs.50, 000 transactions which were not executed. I lodged a complaint to Standard Chartered Bank that the transaction is fraudulent and not authenticated by me and requested them not to pass the transaction.
          The bank is investigating the transaction and stated that it will take nearly 40 days to complete the investigation.
          I received messages from two more suspicious numbers[protected] and [protected]) on 28.12.2023 and 29.12.2023 to further dupe me. All such messages I attach herewith for your investigation.
          I request you to investigate the matter and help me to reimburse the amount of Rs.50, 000 from the culprit.

            I availed the services o[censored]rban Company for laptop repair, and the total amount paid for the service was Rs 6104. However, the invoice provided by Urban Company only reflects an amount of Rs 2559. I have attached the payment proof and a transcript of my communication with Urban Company's customer support for your reference.

            Upon contacting Urban Company's customer support, I was informed that they are unable to provide an invoice for the full amount of Rs 6104. This has raised concerns as it appears to be in violation of Indian government regulations, which mandate accurate invoicing for services rendered.

The additional amount of Rs 3545 that is not reflected in the invoice should be refunded in accordance with the applicable laws.               Hi, my whirlpool fridge got damaged when i got the deep cleaning services o[censored]rban company; the UC guy has made holes in the freezer box which means the whole fridge is not going to work and whirlpool technician is saying it'll cost 8k to repair the fridge. I reached out UC on twitter and they're lying about that fridge was out of warranty so they can't do anything; fridge was in warranty till 30 Nov 2023 and i got the deep cleaning services on 26 Nov 2023; so fridge was in warranty and UC guy damaged it clearly and UC is taking zero ownership and accountability of this fact, need help here, if you're running a scam just tell me you won't do anything about it and you couldn't care less about resolving customer problems that you create, then atleast i'll think about taking some long term rigorous action against the company go to customer court; attaching images of fridge warranty, UC invoice and images of fridge freezer box damaged

                  I scheduled an intense bathroom cleaning and got a professional assigned, my payment went through. The day of the appointment I received a message that there are no professionals and I need to reschedule. I tried rescheduling but there were no slots available, my money is stuck as well.                     I booked bathroom cleaning the agent visited and then left without completing the job.
                    -later I book basic cleaning, I want to change it to intense so cancelled the booking. I got charged 100/-
                    -where as this is wrong, first booking is cancelled by the agent

                      I have just reached to UC for LED back light issue and after backlight issue get fixed, the technician created a panel sticking issue and after 2 to 3 attempts uable to fix panel sticking issue after that i requested for senior technician visit, which denied by UC and customer support person and told me to book new booking after refunding payed amount.
                      After new booking a new technician demand approx Rs.2500 for sticking of TV panel but unfortunately TV panel broken during service of TV . They just chaned the panel (no genuine certificate) as cast wear by comapnay or technician i don't know .Now again back light issue comes after few days o[censored]se and technician resolved the issue with new no sound issue in TV and Technician resolved the sound issue .With in after few day o[censored]se i am facing screen flickering issue in new tv panel which were replaced by technician and after many afterts and complaints over Instagram technician revisited and fix screen flickering issue after cleaning the circuit.
                      Now again after few days i am facing screen issue having no picture in the screen and when i am trying to claims the warranty, UC app not allowing me to book the visit and all .
                      So after many comaplains over social media their social media team told me to book a new senior professional booking, to check the issue with TV.Now after inspection UC now saying there are fault in Mother Board which was good earlier as demanding rs 8000 approx to fix .But i denied to pay and asked the team just take their panel and provide me the cast of panel which broken by their technician because before this there was no issue with mother board. UC also not providing any invoice or geniune certificate for panel.
                      But not they are not responding over UC chat not over any social media platforms even UC also not given back my TV.
                      So please request you to look in to the issue and provide my panel cast or 50% of TV cast.Because i believe UC has reuined my complete TV and now its useless for me.

                          I booked a technician for installing Chimney in my kitchen at shalimar bagh. The technician name is Tarun his contact number is [protected]. He came on his first visit and took the service charges in advance and said i'll bring the connecter pipe and till date he hasn't brought it and even not answering calls.
                          Please take some action and get the problem resolved else I am going to Sue & take a strict Legal action.

                            Two months or so ago i asked UC to send a plumber for professional service. The plumber arrived and said I had to replace the entire Jaguar foucet. I agreed and he took 4500 fro me to replace the defective faucet from Jaguar. He replaced it and left without giving either a bill or a warranty. Jus tleft the box with a the Jaguar label. I was not at home. the very next day I noticed that the piece he had brought was defective and phoned him. He promised to come and take a look but he never came. Finally I called him and he said to call Jaguar. I did that and they came but refused to replace the defective part since he had brought no bill, no receipt nor a guarantee form. It is now costing me 1000 to get the part replaced. His name is Jaban, his number is [protected]. Obviously a rip off because now he says to call some shop in the city and ask for the guarantee. I think you should take this complaint seriously and I should be recompensed for the rotten service provided by you. First time I have had anything to complain about with you guys.

                              I got installed my water purifier in my new house on 31.10.2023 through Urban Company (UC). UC has sent a professional Mr. Sambegowdanadoddi Basavaraje Gowda Manjunatha, who has installed water purifier by drilling & fixing 4 screws on the walls for installation of stand, over which the water purifier has been placed.
                              On 19.11.2023, to my surprise, the entire water purifier including stand collapsed and the body of the water purifier...

He has started his painting on 3rd November 2023 and complted on 5th November 2023. On 7th I saw colour wall has started puffy and puffy patch showing on wall.                                 I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern regarding the repair of my MacBook Air, which was submitted on 1st November to Urban Company.

                                Regrettably, after 18 days of waiting, I have discovered that the assigned engineer not only damaged the motherboard and PCB board during the repair process but is also unresponsive to my attempts to contact them.

                                The laptop originally had no issues, except occasional difficulty turning on from sleep mode. During a previous service with Urban, the technician resolved the problem by unplugging and plugging in the battery. However, the issue resurfaced, leading me to book another service on 1st November.

                                Now, after almost 18 days, the engineer claims that the damage occurred during the repair process and has since become unreachable. This situation is severely impacting my day-to-day business operations.

                                I kindly request immediate reimbursement for the damages caused and the provision of a new MacBook. I urge you to address this matter urgently, as tomorrow would be an ideal timeline for resolution.

                                  I had given my laptop for repair for a display issue. It had a refresh rate of 144Hz. They said the display had to be replaced. I specifically asked them if it was a genuine part and they assured me that it was. But when I got the laptop back, they had installed a 120Hz display. I called the repair person and he is insisting that that is the correct display when I have been using it for years now
