Sir/Madam, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Urban Company regarding the substandard carpet cleaning service I recently availed from urban company. On 22 Mar 2024, I engaged Urban Company for a carpet cleaning service, believing in company's reputation for quality and professionalism. However, I am deeply disappointed to report that the service resulted in significant damage to my carpet due to the improper use of chemicals. As a result of the negligence displayed by urban company', my carpet, which holds a value of ₹45, 000 + gst, has incurred irreparable damage. Furthermore, I have sought a quotation from an independent service provider for the repair of the damaged carpet, and the estimated cost for restoration is ₹10, 500. Despite multiple attempts to seek redressal through customer care channel, I have been met with frustrating delays and unresponsiveness. The customer care executives have continuously failed to provide me with a satisfactory resolution or even a timely acknowledgment of my concerns. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable and reflects poorly on Urban Company's commitment to its clients. I demand immediate compensation in the amount of ₹55, 500 + Componsation for wasting my time and my Mental Peace, which includes the cost of repairing the damaged carpet and reimbursement for its original value. Furthermore, I expect Urban Company to take prompt and decisive action to rectify the systemic issues within its customer service department to prevent similar grievances in the future. If my concerns are not addressed and adequate compensation is not provided within [timeframe of 2 business days of the receipt of this letter, I will have no choice but to pursue legal action to protect my rights as a consumer. Please consider this letter as a formal notice of my intent to escalate this matter further if necessary. I trust that Urban Company will take this matter seriously and act swiftly to resolve it to my satisfaction. I look forward to receiving a prompt response from your end.

    Washing machine repair

    My siemens washing machine was booked for repair in the month of Oct 2023 and a professional came and repaired it stating shaft and bearing of the machine has to replaced.     Issues are not getting resolved

    I have literally been harassed since last month from your team. I feel like i am getting punished for taking services from you.

    Went for Hair laser 6 sessions services. Paid about ₹46, 789/-
    First session was done on 11th February Sunday.
    Second session must happen within 30 to 45 days. To which when i tried to book the second session, i didn’t see any option for booking. When i spoke to UC Help...

    I had booked for weekly bathroom cleaning for two units for a period of one month, and first service is to commence today 13 Mar 2024. The booking was confirmed and a person was allotted (Jena). Since yesterday I've been trying to see the details however when I click on the 'View' or 'Confirmed' link a screen appears with a message that 'Something went wrong' 'Please check your network or try again later'.
    I'm unable to contact any customer care to resolve this so please send me the contact details and also ensure that the service commences today as requested and booked.

            Cost MRP

            I have a booked a Gas stove service on 24th Feb, i have paid the charges for visit, technician was insisted to change the pipe and knobs. The price of pipe was 545 they charged which MRP was 345, i have separate charge for technician 199 and knob charges were 200 each, when I said high he reduced to 150.
            When urban company change against their service why the rates are higher than MRP....

            I got my Samsung LET 40'' TV motherboard repaired. The Urban company technician took the TV to his workshop and delivered back after 5 days. However, the issue cane back. I again raised a revisit from the technician and he again took the TV to his workshop. This time he delivered back the TV after 12 days. However, immediately after the repair, a new issue of backlight started to appear and the TV screen becomes black. Urban company is asking more money now for repair of this issue. It is an issue of completely mishandling by the technician and Urban company should take responsibility of this issue.

The company happened to send a plumber by name Akshay ([protected]) who fixed the bathroom leakage issue and the kitchen tap issue.                 i fully paid for the water purifier on Jan 2nd and installation was done few days later. Technician said Booster pump is needed as well and asked me to pay extra 2500 which i refused. Urban company gave me 2000 credits for the booster pump and told me that they will arrange the installation of booster pump. Current status is Technician came and uninstalled the water purifier as well and now im without water and uninstalled machine at home for past 5 days. Customer service is not responding and not arranging technician to come.
                When i asked for the return and refund as they are already uninstalled the machine - they are denying that as well.

                Bottomline - i paid 14k for the machine and its sitting in my kitchen uninstalled with no further status update from URban Company.

                  Did AC cleaning and same day AC stopped cooling. When checked they told gas leaked. Without investigation or checking they said gas leakage will not be covered in warranty. If the technician had handled carelessly while cleaning and damaged the gas pipe then why should I bear the expense. Without checking they are trying to escape from responsibilities. At this rate, they can come for cleaning damage some part of the unit intentionally and then charge additionally to fix that issue. This is just customer fleecing

                      Refund of payment for Plumbing. Services not delivered

                      I had made a payment of Rs.568/- to Urban Company on 7th Jan, 2024 for plumbing services. I received a call from a plumber from Uban Company saying he is in Marathalli and could not come to CV Raman Nagar. I reached out to Urban Company a bot answered and would not give me the contact number of a human. Later I received a message from Urban Company saying my refund would be transferred to my account within 3 -4 days. I have still not received...

                      Icicident Description : I booked my Gyser service through Urban company on 7th Jan and was attendednt by them same day. The technician advised that heating element is to be change and will cost 2200 which I agreed and he chaged it today. I got invoice from Urban company showing service charge, Elelent cost (1600) and GST totaling to INR 2120 and it also shws 250 to be adjusted which was paid earlier. I approved and paid it online . later there was one 180 Rs amount was also added as one of the connecting pipe was also changed. however, when asked about waranty card for element,
                      a) he first handed a bank waranty card and when I asked for the dealer stamp, he told GST invoice will be requred to I need to pay extra which I refused.
                      b) Than he told that only UC warrant applies and he will not share any bill whereas UC representaive who called for raising additional amount invoiced, told technician will only provide supporting for material warranty.
                      c) When cchased and confronted, Urban company, smartly rasied invoice not shwing material cost of heating element (its only showing pipe as material) and wrongly showing 1700 Rs as service charge (by the way which is not there for any gyser service even on their site) to avoid responsibility of any product related warranty as there warranty section says 30 days for service and for material it says no warranty for any material which is not billed (means whatever is billed, it should be under standard warranty as per material catagory, heating element is usually for 1 year)

                      Now, when asked for the Invoice, they have shared a invoice, not showing charges for element as a line item (which is charged to me) and warranty should be provided.

                      Uraban company should be penalised for such unethical practices and compensation for harrasment should provided to me. Moreover, they have not provided any compalint No or mail id for raising gravience and geting it addressed with them. Only chat option is provided so the records cant be kept.

                        Wrong Invoice / Rude Executives

                        Hi,

                        I have multiple issues to share with you, starting with the fact that I contacted customer care to settle an issue regarding the wrong invoice that I was given.
