my name is Digambar My Mobile No.[protected], I have recieved offer message from Virgin Mobile company on 17th may 2009 like this '' Enjoy calls to all local mobile calls @ 30p/min and FREE 750 local sms for 30 days on recharge of Rs.149. Also get Rs. 43.3 talk time hurry limited period offer.'' so i have next day ( 18th may 2009 ) recharged Rs.149/- but i have got only 2 offers on next day in the night like 750 local sms & 30p/min but i have not recieved third offer of talk time Rs.43.3. i have contact with customer care but they have not understand my problem what i have problem, till now i am in same, i have not recieved talk time of Rs. 43.3, so iam in problem help me the company has cheated me.. so u r the my solution, i bealive on u.

Virgin Mobile — msaage recieved

i recieved a sms from virgin mobile saying that get 100% talk time at Rs. 11, 31, 71, 101, 201 and 301.so i filled a top up of Rs.101 and after filling the top up they r saying that it is only for 10 days.when i got the 1st sms in that offer they didn't wrote anything like this offer is valid for onliy 10, 20, etc. days.therefore i request u pls do somthing about it.my mobile no. is [protected](maharashtra).either give me my money back or take some action against the company.

    I have purchased the Virgin mobile vGlide just two days before. Though the red color panel is so attractive by appearance, it has a defect in it. The color on it probably is a coasted color on a soft rubber finished material. So the color on that started fading just the next day I purchased. The entire panel has turned to faded black starting from the corners of the panel to every inch of the panel day by day. The new look of the mobile just faded the next day.
    Yes, the coated color on the vGlide is so bad. Instead the rubber coat on the panel itself should be manufactured in that red color, but not coated.
    yaar lemination naam ki bhi koi cheez hoti hai...& chinese mobiles se toh theek hi hai...

      Considering all that has flown under the bridge, and to speak honestly, it would be a great relief if I can get whatever is pending and more importantly to close on this and focus my efforts on my present business.

      Like all o[censored]s have our jobs to do, I would appreciate it if you understand that I also have a job to do and in my case I do not have the luxury of a pay check.. It has been 4 months since resignation as a distributor and even after completion of handover and fulfillment of all formalities (And it took me just 15 days to start business with VMI), I await delivery akin to waiting outside the Civil Supplies depot...

      Please consider this as my LAST request for a full and final settlement of payments due to me on or before 27th April 2009, failing which I shall observe that VMI does not wish to honor its contractual obligations and I shall move my prayers to a fora more receptive to my plight.

      With reference to my mail dated 4th Jan 09', I would like to jot down the official procedure followed by virgin Chennai, with Sri Sai Enterprises (Preceding Channel Partner for Virgin, Tambaram radius).

      - 5/1/09 – invited by virgin team I was invited to virgin office, Chennai on 5/1/09

      - 6/1/09 – had discussion with Mr. Raghavan on final pending payment and both o[censored]s came to a common understanding. I was given an assurance on final settlement by 10/1/09.

      - 17/1/09 – partial payment made by Succeeding Distributor (Tambaram), virgin.

      - 19/1/09 – received payment and stock from virgin TSM (Mr. Deva) (for unauthorized handing of stock in market)

      - 20/1 to 23/1 -- Mr. Chandrasekhar from UTL, had couple of follow mail on TSM payment and ensured that I have received the payment. I would like to say thanks to Mr. Chandrasekhar, without his efforts my payment would have delayed.

      - 24/1/09 – received payment from virgin TSM (Mr. Karunakaran) (for unauthorized handing of stock in market)

      - 29/1/09 – visited Succeeding Distributor (Tambaram), Virgin for the balance payment.

      They (Succeeding Distributor) have refused to make the payment for the stock lying at his place. I was given payment after deducting the return stock. There was no prior notice regarding the return.

      They have taken stock from Sri Sai couple of weeks back and on 29/1 that is, at time of final settlement, they have returned the stock in hand.

      I immediately kept Mr. Raghvan posted about the returns through dialing.

      I was requested to wait till 30/1/09, but there is no guidance till now.


      In spite of your follow up mail on 9/1/09 and virgin team, Chennai falling far behind the schedule (Mr. Raghvan committed to complete the payment 10/1/09), I was patient.


      Now I am forced to written the above lengthy mail for transparent. I have cornered to a helpless and hopeless situation for which I need your guidance.


      Pending payment details are enclosed herewith.

      Dear Sir,


      All my FOS and most of the retailers are aware of the change in distributor. hence i have decided to stop the handset placement from 5th dec. I have complete details of Market stock and O/S as of Dec 4th.

      From 5th dec i have asked FOS not to visit the market. i have asked the FOS team to coordinate with ASM/TSM for job conformation with prospective distributor.

      Please confirm by 5th dec, whether you want me to remove stock from market or you want to audit the market stock. If i don't receive the confirmation from virgin, i am forced to take hard decision (remove stock from market). For the current situation, it is not ideal to removing stock, we shall induce uncertainty in minds of retailers and brand loyalty will be a big ? in midst of retailers, when i am moving out i want to leave with zero or minimum damage to the brand.

      What is the procedure to surrender the activation and FOS handsets.

      From 5th dec i have to concentrate on collection and claims settlement.


      Kindly request you to make all the payment due to Srisai at the earliest.


      Please revert back on any clarification.

        Below is my mail sent to at [protected]@virginmobile.in 7 days before and also I had given a written request at Banjara office, but still there is no response from anyone. What to do? Kindly please respond to this and deactivate my number.

        "Hi,

        I, Jagdish Devaku want to deactivate my Virgin mobile of number [protected] due to the false information provided by your executive and the worst customer care. The executive Mr. Govind ([protected]) gave me false information about the tariff like 50 paise/call to STD which is not listed in the Virgin’s tariff and has not given me any offers provided by Virgin like Reebok gift coupon, etc.. Another issue is with the customer care number which never connects. In the website it was given that ‘Virgin Mobile is the only operator in the UK to have won the ‘Best Customer Service Award’ six years in a row. And soon we plan to win an Oscar.’ Yeah, you can definitely win an Oscar for pretending the customers that there is a customer care for Virgin mobiles in India which I feel it never exists.

        Due to all the above issues, I want to deactivate my virgin mobile and I never want to think about Virgin mobile in my life again.

        Today I have also given a written complaint to Mr. Srikar in Virgin Mobile office located at Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. Please do the necessary as soon as possible.

        Dear sir, i have purchase a v flash wireless broadband from your crystalpalm office at 18-02-10.my divice is not install by any agent of your.i call sevral time to mr.ananad &ms.sanjukta roi (sales manager) but not response .ms.sanjukta is meet at your office when i purchase the device, she give also wrong information that the device is start into two hours .but after 36hours is completed but company agent is not listen my problem. so i am not satisfied with your service so plz. help&take action against those person which are responsible for it. thank you

        i want top change my virgin mobile to any other network which is suitable to me in august i sent the sms to virgin services they gave me the code then i went to vodaphone but the code is expired why the virgin mobiles cont give the offers like sms offer or small recharge, and the cards are also not available at the mobile store .

            I signed up for a 1, 300 minute/$34.99 monthly plan with Virgin Mobile about 4 or 5 months ago. Every month I pay my bill on the same day, the 7th. This month was no exception. I called their customer service number and was told no live representatives were available, but I could pay using the automated line.

            I authorized a payment for $35.00 to cover my monthly bill, but instead of crediting the money to my monthly plan, they did something called top-up and applied my payment to the standard service that charges $.20/minute for calls.

            As of 4-14-09, my cell phone was cut off. I called the customer service department again, and after 5 minutes of automated prompts, I got to a live rep named Mary. Mary transferred me to a floor supervisor named Cathy. Cathy understood the issue and said if I gave them another $20.00, they would fix the problem. I refused and was transferred to yet another supervisor named Cary (a male). Cary listened to my problem, put me on hold again, then came back and told me all the managers were in a meeting so I'd have to wait. Again, I refused. So 30 minutes into my phone call, Cary agreed to credit my debit card the amount I paid on 4-7-09, so I could pay the monthly service charge and have my service restored. This action, per Cary, normally takes 24 hours, but he would be able to get it done within 3 or 4 hours.

            I call back 25 hours later, because I have no refund posted. After going through another 5 minutes worth of automated prompts, I get a rep named Elmer. Elmer says Cary will not be in until 2pm PST. I ask to leave a message for Cary and am told that’s not possible. Elmer wants to help me. I tell him the same story and he says the notes on my account say I had a problem with my text messaging service. I have NEVER had text messaging service on this phone. Elmer puts me on hold so he can contact the Finance Department. Ten minutes later, Elmer comes back and offers me the same $20.00 deal Cathy offered yesterday. Again I refused. Elmer puts me on hold again and 5 minutes later, I get a supervisor named Melanie.

            I explain the issue for the 5th time to Melanie. She says she understands and again offers me the same $20.00. Again, I refused and told her that I was to I have the full payment refunded per Cary. She starts to argue with me and tells me it’s my fault because I did not realize the payment wasn't applied properly. Now over 30 minutes into my 2nd phone call in two days, I let Melanie know that I want the refund I was promised or I would no longer be a customer. Her answer; hold on for another manager because she is not authorized to offer me more than $20.00. I am now running late for work and can't continue with this run around for the next hour. I tell Melanie no, fix it or lose a customer. She refused to fix the problem.

            Virgin Mobile is horrible. Their automated system is not sophisticated enough to process payments correctly, and their customer service reps are not allowed to make common sense decisions, even when it is in the best interest of their company and customers. Sir Richard should be ashamed.

              I have been a prepaid customer with virgin mobile for at least 3 1/2 years. I origonally had my daughter's prepay account set up to where they would only top her up every 90 days and take only 20.00 out my account at that time. When they started up the unlimited text for 19.99 a month plan I signed up for that and was under the impression that I was in that plan continuously on a monthly basis unless I changed the plan on my online account. I signed up back in the beginning of 2008 or earlier. My daughter has done nothing but send text messages she rarely made outbound calls or received incoming calls because we were both under the impression the 20.00 a month fee was going towards the unlimited text each month. I just so happened to call and check on the balance in my bank account yesterday and noticed I was in overdraft and had just got paid yesterday. My entire account was wiped out because I just discovered for at least the last 60 days on a a daily basis my account was charged multiple times a day by virgin mobile in top up charges. I was charged 4 and 5 times a day at all hours of the morning and night even when my daughter was in class or asleep. From 2/10/09 through 4/9/10 I was charged $21.30 16 times and $10.65 80 times totalling almost 1300.00. In total after wiping my bank account out, took my entire paycheck I just received unbenounced to me, this has been well over $2000.00 that I have lost behind this foolishness. and when I called virgin mobile all they could tell me was that I misunderstood that I needed to go online every month and hit UPDATE so that my unlimited text messages would still be in effect each month for 19.99 even though when you log in the box for that option is already selected and tells you immediately when you log in that thats the plan you selected to be in. I tried to get the representative to show me where online does it state to me that I needed to do that and he of course could not tell me where to look to find that information. They also are trying to tell me that the reason for the multiple top up charges each day was due to my daughter constantly hitting top up directly from her phone. I hardly believe that this was done to due to the fact that so many of the charges were done at such strange hours of the day and night. Virgin mobile USA has displayed a lack of integrity. As a customer they should have attempted to contact me via phone, email, or mail to make me aware of the charges hitting my account in such excess and they definetly should have mailed me something in writing in regards to the terms of agreement to the unlimited text program to ensure that I fully understood how the program works. With the unlimited text message box is checked on your account, clearly nothing on the online accounts states that you need to update your account every month in order to ensure you will not be charged for text message. Virgin mobile did not offer to credit me back one red cent for this horrible, neglectful, fraudelent transaction. I am most certainly going to obtain a lawyer and SUE the hell out of virgin mobile for their lack of integrity and disclosure of the plan offered.
              oh wow. im very sorry! I can't believe virgin mobile dident instantly refund your money back! .
              In September 2009 they did the same thing to my daughter's account, luckily I caught it early and was cheated out of a smaller amount. Then in October they did the same thing to my son's account. This is clearly a recurring problem that they are aware of but have not corrected.
              I have the same plan my updates itself every month and takes 22.00 out of my account each month. I wonder why it's different for you. It could be that to pay for the messaging you could either add the 22.00 to the account or they take it from your credit card. People get fooled by this. At least it did. I made sure i had at least 30 dollars in my account every month and didn't need it cause they billed my credit card. now i just let them do that.

                  I fell prey to all the funky lines running around the site http://www.virginmobile.in/ .
                  I thought its a cool site and made an online purchase of virgin mobile on 15 March 2009 [which includes the chosen number, the handset, free prepaid connection and accessories, etc]. But, i am really regretting it now.

                  The site says that i would get my order delivered 'within' 4 working days. Also, i got an email confirmation next day of purchase, which said i would get order delivered within 72 hours[3days].
                  However, order delivery still pending.

                  I have been requesting and complaining to them via phone[at[protected]] and via email [[protected]@virginmobile.com], but to no effect
                  I was told on 20 March 2009, by virgin mobile's customer champion that i would get my order within 48 hours. But, order is not yet delivered.

                  Also, they refuse to give any complaint no. or request no.Thus, when i call them next the whole cycle will start from beginning.

                  If i am having trouble geting my order delivered, i am wondering will my order be in working condition.
                  I never expected this from a TATA service.

                    yea i agreed with that, i also got a job with virgin airways uk and i was thinking if this is scam or real but i said in my mind let me give it a trial and i did, they ask me to coplteet all the travel requirment with the travel agent they gve me and i did i am suprise to send an appointment letter through Dhl Courier services and today i am working with virgin airways uk.

                    Virgin Mobile — Recharge card not recharging.

                    I have faced this problem many times with this mobile service. I bought this Vsleek mobile 1 year before. Since then i have been facing this problem. Whenever I need to recharge my cell i need to spend at least 30 min at the shop. But until today it was getting recharged at least within a 30 min. But yesterday i.e. on 12th aug 2009 i bought the recharge card and tried to recharge but it is in vain. Till this time it is not crediting any balance.. On the top of that customer care number never works with this particular provider. I tired to contact the customer care at-least 50 times and that to from a different no. But no luck :(. One of WORST SERVICE i ever experienced and at times its very FRSUTRATING. Now I don’t know 'What should i do? ‘Whom should i contact'.
                    If anybody has faced the similar problems, plz let me know.

                    I have given 75 Rs. to my retailer on 05.06.11for recharging my prepaid connection and I got a messge from the mobile company - virgin - on the same day that "ur recharge is succeful and ur new balance is 67/-. But I was not able make calls from my mobile as my balance is still showing zero. when I made a complaint against this at customer care, they told me that your 75Rs charged against std calls for 50 ps and you have 30 days validity for that and you will not get any talk time.

                      Got an error during calling or playing game
                      0000 (four time zero) and hang untill i put bettery out and replace it again.
                      I bought throug a communication shop. I have told that the phone is ok nothing is wrong with yor phone. But the I facedthe same problem again. So I forced the shopkeeper to replace my handset or get my money back. But the shopkeeper nothing worry about that he just sell things nothing else. He gave me time to come again to the shop when the virgin distibuter come to his shop. My One week lost but I got nothing.

                          I have bought the 2 virgin mobiles on the promise that virgin to virgin calling is free. the retailor told us that its one day offer from the company and now company is not acepting any such offers provided by them.                           I purchased virgin mobile on 2nd January, 2009. It was activated soon after my shopping. But they suddenly stopped outgoing service on my mobile on 9th January, 2009 without informing me the reason. They the people from the mobile store called me on 10th January evening and informed me that my house alottment letter has been rejected. 10th was Saturday off day in my office. Then they stopped incoming service to my mobile from 11th January morning. I immediately produced the residential certificate from my office (Defence) at 11.15 a.m. on 12th January. They assured me that it will be activated in the night of the same day. But still I am suffring from the problem. Today is 15th January. No number is working, even customer service not working from my mobile. Total service is barred. The retailer told me that they would be sending the document in the afternoon and that will be activated within 48 hours. But still it was not activated. Whenever I am calling, from others' mobile, customer care they are saying that the document has not been reached, so they cannot activate the connection. Now I am trapped in between the retailer and the virgin service provider.I have taken one more residential certificate from a scientist. I have forwarded the scanned copy of my residential certificate with an e-mail: [protected]@virginmobile.in. But still no effective action has been taken for the service inh my mobile as per their requirement mentioned in their portfolio. It is my sincere request to activate the connection. I have tried to call the number:[protected] which was displayed in the link: http://www.virginmobile.in/contact.html. The phone was ringing, but no one picked up. I am very badly fade up with their service and I feel they are cheating the customer. I request NGO to take action against them.
                          After I purchased the mobile the following incident took place:
                          On discussing about various conditions applicable towards
                          my
                          tariff charges the retailer told that, on making a STD call, on a daily
                          basis, I would be charged Rs 1.50/min for first 3 mins and thenceforth I'd
                          be charged 50 paise, but later on I was shocked to know that the plan was
                          applicable for just 30 mins a day and when I went to the retailer to
                          clarify about the authenticity of what he stated, the retailer accepted that he
                          was unaware of the plan and he had given a wrong information. In response to
                          which I returned the connection asking for the refund of money however,
                          the retailer blankly declined saying the amount paid was not refundable. I
                          thenceforth demand for the re-imbursement of the amount paid towards. I
                          want to re-instate strongly that I wouldn't be paying for mistakes from your
                          end. Even the virgin mobile representative who was dealing with the Mobile
                          store said me that he had not informed the retailer about the plan.
                          I request to take immediate action against " The Mobile store at Ambernath" and the Virgin Mobile.

                          There is no customer service at Virgin. There land line number is always busy. More importantly, they dont give reference numbers so each time you speak with a representative, you have to expalin the entire story again.

                          Virgin Mobile — Non-Disclosure of the Tariffs and Plans

                          I took this connection from a retailer and I have been informed that the STD call rate is 50paise flat. And local as well. But after two weeks of taking connection I got a call from Virgin Mobile stating that that tariff is valid only half-an-hour a day. When we will make an STD call, for first two minutes I will be charged at Re.1.50/min. and after two minutes I will be charged @ 50p./min. for just half-an-hour a day. But we cannot get this detail anywhere in the advertisements or billboards. When contacted the company official, they were not ready to accept that its a problem from thier end.Despite of many calls made to different officials no one has paid any heed to my complaint that I have been misguided by the Virgin Mobile company.

                          I had purchased online by my credit card, then had sent after 4 days.
                          Since that day i am unable to use that earlier their network, No Network into my house while they had shown at their web site that mine address is covered with full network, on complaining their customer care number is not connectible.
                          Emails are getting replied but not with solution, only system generated meaning less replies are there.
                          Phone has been sent to service center they had asked for 8 Days time to revert back on BranchNew Phone.
                          They are making fool to customers, please help me to refund my money with interest and cost.

                            I bought a virgin mobile prepaid from Sangeeta mobile store at Jayanagar 4th block in Bangalore on 22th of Jan 09. I had submitted all the documents and to my surprise the phone was disconnected on 31st of Jan on my birthday :( When checked with the customer care they said that they haven't received any documents! I was out of station on that day and couldn't contact my retailer. Meanwhile the phone was robbed my a servant maid but was caught. I got my phone back but the sim card was thrown out somewhere.
                            I was back in town on 5th Feb, and on the same day I had been to my retailer who asked me to go to one of the Virgin mobile kiosk centers(Forum, koromangala) in the city and get a duplicate sim card and said that the no. would be activated immediately once I re-submit my documents at the center. To my surprise there WASN'T a duplicate sim card available at the center. However, the guy at the center promised me to get one on 6th Feb which he did, but couldn't activate the no. on the same day. He said that it could be activated by the next day. Unfortunately, today he says that everybody in his back-end team are on leave and the connection could be activated only by monday i.e 9th of Feb.
                            I don't understand what's wrong with the Virgin mobile's organization. This isn't the case with other telecom service providers. Others act real quick and it does take days together to activate a connection!
                            . "THINK HAT KE" doesn't mean being slobby and giving zero customer satisfaction.
                            I hope somebody looks into this matter and make's sure that these kind of issues does repeat and no customer experiences a SLOBBY service of this kind.

                              I have purchased a mobile phone of Virgin Mobile (referred to VM in this hereafter), from a retailer in Delhi (Priya Electronics A6/2 Jawahar Park, Devli Road, New Delhi 110 062. Cash memo no. 2032, TIN no. [protected]) on December 4th, 2008. The model is called vKewl by the VM. Upon using the handset, I found following problems.
                              1. The manual says as well as checked on net, it should have memory for 1000 contacts in Phone book memory on phone and 250 on RUIM card. However, it has only 500 on phone and 150 on RUIM card.
                              2. The Phone cannot be used as USB disk; therefore, data transfer is not possible. When data cable is attached, the ‘activate’ button appears on modem mode but not on USB mode.
                              3. The net setting for using it as modem also not available anywhere. Not even on so-called ‘gyan’ on internet.
                              4. I should get 499 minutes of free calls and 499 free sms, but there is no way of checking the same. Balance does get reduced whenever a call is made.
                              5. I should have got a gift voucher from Reebok with the purchase, but the dealer did not have it.
                              6. The disk that is bundled with it had only a driver. When I asked could I transfer contacts and edit them on a computer, I did not get any answers.

                              When contacted the retailer he says dial 125555 and talk to VM, they alone can help. This number is extremely difficult to get as it is busy most of the time. However, on repeated trying, they suggest to go to service centre. Interestingly, even they find hard to locate one in south Delhi. Different time, different addresses were given. One was of Redington (India) Limited, S-3 Green Park Extn, New Delhi 110016.
                              I visited the place. Apprised them of the problem. They took time to appreciate, and were rude. They treated me as if another one has come to disturb their peaceful life. Anyway, they suggested leaving the handset as it is the problem of motherboard. They asked me to leave it for a week. I ask what about recharges for the month, that week will go waste, for no fault of mine. They had no answers and suggested me to talk to VM, as they are Huawei service center. I asked them How do redirect my calls to another number as I have given this number a lots of people, they did not know. VM call center says it is difficult for them to suggest anything as they sit in Hyderabad. They were not able to give any Delhi address and not been able to redress the issue. They also told that redirect facility does not exist as of now.
                              I contacted VM again. I again asked some address of Delhi and told them that I wish to move to consume forum. He conveniently says the It was handset of Huawei and VM is nothing to do with it. (Interestedly the use Tata Network, so on issue of service they will pass the buck on Tata) This time I was given an address of RT Outsourcing Services Ltd. 7 L.S.C. Okhla Industrial Area Phase II New Delhi 110020. I went there. Some Mr. Saurabh attended. He says it is a problem of software, i[censored]pdated it will work. However, they cannot take the backup of data. Therefore, He suggested copying all. Now, without data cable, how does one take backup? Any way he told go back write and then come again. Thoroughly disgusted, I went next time and now the person attended was Ravi (If I remember correctly, I may be wrong in the name). I asked him why such things happens in a brand new handset and what is the address of Huawei as I am disgusted enough to go to consumer court. They could not provide the address of Huawei and lady on reception suggested to talk to Huawei call centre.
                              Anyway, now Mr. Ravi came with third and innovative explanation that data cable and charger slot is damaged! May be save the company some embarrassment in consumer court!! In these circumstances, I left the handset with them and asked name of senior person. They gave a number of some Mr. Raghav. When contacted on phone, He refused to converse saying he is busy and told I will take the details from service center. This is great. Even without knowing what I am talking about, which handset, who am I etc. he will have intuition to get all the details. Whose details will he take and how? He also told me that he will callback. Which of course he did not. Moreover, when I again tried to contact him he refused to pick the phone.

                              I have left the handset on December 20th, 2008. After ten days, i.e. on 30th of December, 2008at about 3 pm I got a call from the service centre that handset is fine and I could collect it. I went there at about 5 pm. I discovered that memory issue was same. I asked the counter and they could not answer. Then I made a bit of noise then, a senior person (probably Farah) turns up and told that this issue they can not resolve as they updated the software, and it is a manufacturing problem to be resolve by manufacturer. The other issue is resolved. He also got me talked to Mr. Raghva there, who reiterated the stand. Disgusted as it is, I then insisted to check the cable, which they claimed was working fine. Mr. Saurabh confidently took me, and miserably failed to demonstrate the same. For USB disk – he told one needs a memory card (nowhere mentioned in literature). He claimed it works fine as modem. However, just could not demonstrate it. First, he told you need serial (like RS232type cable for that). Then he went downstairs and told that it working. Again, he failed to demonstrate. I asked if you need software, he says no, you can just synchronize it and contacts will be text format. Any way, he told may be the PC is at fault so take the handset and try at home. At 6:30 pm (i.e. after spending one and a half hours there (after being called by them), I left the place – back at square one. It did not work at home as well. Next day I called up, and they issued a DOA and handset was replaced. Bu even with new handset, the problem remained same.
                              All this while, I have also apprised both VM and Huawei via e-mail. Now VM started talking as I told them that I intent to go to consumer forum. After prolonged talks, they gave an additional recharge I lieu of ten days that were wasted at service centre. Meanwhile, I also did some research on net. I found out the solution for using phone as modem. However, other issue remained unresolved. VM sent Mr. Arvind to my home to demonstrate. He could demonstrate only internet (which I found out and then Ms. Khushboo of VM sent a mail too about it by the time he visited). He old a card is needed for the rest. I asked him if any software is required o PC, he was clueless. He told hen knew only about Sony or Samsung, the set he is using)
                              I purchased Micro SD card. I could use only card data for to and fro transfer. I told arvind the same. Now they have stopped responding. I dug the net deeper and found out a software called ‘mobile partner’ is needed. I downloaded the same. Now it worked partially. I could transfer certain fields of contacts, but not all (notes, group). SMSs can be displayed but not backed up. Schedule, Memos cannot be. However, the manual says it can be. I
                              I have written to both via e-mail. Though delayed- because of severe backache, which made me immobile for a while.



                              I have some serious issues to be addressed to. A few are:
                              1. Why VM has different thing on publicity, on the box and manual and different thing as product. Does this not amount to cheating?
                              2. Should not the service centre people be more friendly, and respect the customers?
                              3. Why three persons (one in Redington (India) Limited and two in RT Outsourcing Services Ltd have three different reasons for the problem? Then Mr. Saurabh’s innovative explanations at RT Outsourcing Services Ltd regarding USB cable, none of them actually turned out to be true.
                              4. Why should, if it was the case, a brand new handset have pins broken? Who pays for and is responsible for the same. See, one does not come to know of this till one uses and moment you uses it may be called ‘physical damage’.
                              5. Why, again the manual of the software and it feature differ?
                              6. Why no mention of ‘having to buy, a micro SD card? Is it not cheating and misguiding.
                              7. Who is responsible for the harassment caused in the process?
                              8. What about gift vouchers?

                                I bought virgin connection with offer for free GIFT (not offer) with connection. there is no mention of any payments to be made to avail the GIFT. on scratching the card, I realised that I have won a holiday offer and then realised that they want me to pay Rs 1000 for the same. CROMA (owned by Tata) sales people said that they have nothing to do with Virgin although backend services are provided by Tata Tele.

                                I have called Virgin mobile and spoken with Jins, Anirban, John (supervisor) many times. John is perenially busy in meetings and has no time to talk to customers. Always the reply was they have forwarded message to superior and some one will call back.

                                It is 4 months now and still I am waiting for the elusive call from supervisor or even the customer service people.

                                The process to reach a customer service representative is so long that I have given up calling again.

                                MOREOVER, they send so much junk SMS and despite registering 3 times for DO NOT DISTURB service (it shows on their system that I am registered), they have not stopped sending marketing SMS to me. They have said that it will take 45 days to stop SMS sending and I wonder why?? It took jsut 10 minutes to get the conenction and to stop a service 45 Minutes!!!

                                I am just waiting for the phone to get lost and get a new connection with some other service provider.

                                The virgin connection which i took is vast,which i have never seen in any network. Though i use vodafone and airtel too.
                                Everytime i need to roam like anything for doing a recharge.I have entered into more than 15 shops,but no dealer

                                The poor poor connection,I have bought 2 CDMA connections on Virgin. Though for the main reason i get incoming credits,
                                it was applied for the first months. But dealer and from the customer care no one has intimated,
                                Without knowingly from the customer end the offer was closed.

                                When i called to the customer care,they have informed me that the offer was close. How come without the knowledge of the

                                  I purchased mobile set with connection online. I get delivery on time & activated next day. As per letter i received & a phone call from virgin mobile co. they have to send their executive to collect my documents. But till date nobody came. In between this period i talk to customer care peoples 8-10 times but no solution. Then on 4th Nov. i personally go to virgin mobile outlet at Centerstage Mall Noida(U.P) & deposit documents. But on 5th Nov morning they deactivated my services.I again called their customer care(sales) no. 60016666 & they told me that it was their mistake & my no. will be activated in 24 hrs. but nothing happened after 24 hrs. I again called & they told me that they not received my documents it will take next 24 hrs. But after next 24 hrs no improvement today morning on 6th i again called on above mentioned no. & talk to Mr. Avtaar singh he write down my compaint & give me complaint no. VNT07008422 & told that it will take 24 hrs. I dont know how much 24 hrs they need to rectify their mistake. Problem is from their side & i am suffering.

                                  Virgin Mobile - Vsleek — Talk Time not credited as shown on Website

                                  On 12-Sept-2008 on VIRGIN WEBSITE (http://www.virginmobile.in/phones_special_offers_vsleek.html) it was mentioned that VSLEEK handset is available for Rs 2999/- and is available with following stuff
                                  1. A free starter pack and a virgin mobile connection.
                                  2. Free talktime worth Rs 2000/- to any mobile operator
                                  3. Lifetime validity.

                                  On seeing this add I purchase Vsleek on payment of Rs 3000/-. Till date (13-Sept-2008) I have got validity till 2011 but the talktime of Rs 2000/- has not been credited to my account.

                                  On 13-Sept-2008 I called your customer care and complained about talktime not been credited. She ( CC Representative) confirmed the same from your website and logged my Complaint with Reference Number VNT07007041. She confirmed that the talktime will be credited to my account in next few hours. But the same has not been done till now.

                                  Now the customer care is refusing to credit the appropriate talktime saying that there site is wrongly updated. In this way they are playing a FRAUD with customers.

                                  Even today their site shows buy VSLEEk for Rs 2999/- and following is written on it (http://www.virginmobile.in/phones_special_offers_vsleek.html)
                                  Take a look at all the nifty little stuff you get with your shiny new vSleek:
                                  – A Free Starter Pack and a Virgin Mobile connection

                                  All companies playing FRAUD should be heavily fined. Write to DOT. YOu will get benefit.
                                  This comes under Consumer Protection Act and also comes under UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICE. The options let open to you is 1. to file a complaint giving full particulars about the web page which makes you to purchase the handset and not crediting the free talk time. You can also pray for damages for wrongful advertisement and mental agony also. Be clear and it should understandable to the presiding officer of the Consumer Forum and it's members. You can also send a petition to MRTP Commission.

But they suddenly stopped outgoing service on my mobile on 9th January, 2009 without informing me the reason. They the people from the mobile store called me on 10th January evening and informed me that my house alottment letter has been rejected. 10th was Saturday off day in my office. Then they stopped incoming service to my mobile from 11th January morning. I immediately produced the residential certificate from my office (Defence) at 11.15 a.m. on 12th January. They assured me that it will be activated in the night of the same day. But still I am suffring from the problem. Today is 15th January. No number is working, even customer service not working from my mobile. Total service is barred. The retailer told me that they would be sending the document in the afternoon and that will be activated within 48 hours. But still it was not activated. Whenever I am calling, from others' mobile, customer care they are saying that the document has not been reached, so they cannot activate the connection. Now I am trapped in between the retailer and the virgin service provider.I have taken one more residential certificate from a scientist. I have forwarded the scanned copy of my residential certificate with an e-mail. But still no effective action has been taken for the service inh my mobile as per their requirement mentioned in their portfolio. It is my sincere request to activate the connection.

                                  I wonder why they(virgin mobile advertisements by the computer) have to call me atleast 10 times a day( and that too when either i am to busy or when i am expecting someone elses call), and then even send me 20 odd messages a day, they too advertisements. I think, i by now probably know all the advertisement phone numbers they have( all labelled as Bakwass), and yes the blacklist does'nt work for these numbers either.
                                  Its been about 4 months since i have thephone, and till now i have never been able to get through the customer care, all to just request them not to call. Either the lines are just always busy or it disconnects right after i get through the 125555( and later 9 for cust. care) number.

                                  Yes this phone really sucks...i've got this phone for my mother, it has a major problem with its hardware design. The phone wont get charged, if once charge is over...you need to take out the battery and reinsert it again...Its not the problem with my mom's phone alone...i've 4 of my friends who took the same phone...all of them have the same problem...when approached to the Haier customer care, all they did was just replaced the old one with a brand new piece.                                   I have recently purchased Virgin VJAZZ mobile as on 26/5/09 from planet M located at Bandra with features of V tune facility in it. The Mobile connection got activated within short time but V tune music facility still is not activated. Despite my several reminders personally and telephonically to the sales agent of particular store there is no proper response for the same. Even I tried to contact customer care service center but no body is responding and their telephone lines are not getting connected.                                   everything was working fine although the headset which i got in sealed box was not upto the expectations rather not even of the standard it should be of... the slider is very loose but the real trouble began when i called up one STD no [protected] and this no had a tring tune active on it although i did not press * (STAR) the song got copied and around RS 45/- got deducted from my main balance acount,
                                  i immediately called up your customer care and the response which i got from was shocking your representative was very rude his name is AMIT KHAR ( TL PUNE ) and he kept harrasing me by not transferring me to the manager i kept requesting him to understand the issue or transfer me to the Manager but the reply he gave me everytime was that i have pressed *(STAR) finally i after the hold time of approximately 15 minutes i got transferred to the manager his name is ASIM JOHARI (FLOOR MANAGER PUNE) although he was polite and listened to me but he did not gave proper resolution.
                                  If this is the way your company behaves and follows the policies i am gonna take this matter to higher authorities and most importantly i dont want any such service to be activated from your end and make sure i get a reversal of the deducted amount RS 45/- very soon.

                                  i had sent my first complaint mail on 29/6/09, but i did not get rep then i sent one more reminder on 1/7/09 and the response of these mail was that i must forward the detailed complaint again, i forwarded the mail again on 2/7/09 now there has been no response after that and to make the things worst the display of the phone has gone bad. i must say Virgin mobile is the biggest Telecom Cheater.

                                  I purchased a virgin v-glide mobile phone. and i have some problem in that after 2 month of purchasing then i went the shop from where i had purchased that mobile for service (as mentioned 1 yr warranty) but they told that you have to go to virgin mobile service center. when i went virgin mobile showroom then he told we don't have any specific service center yet. because virgin is not specific a mobile company. mobiles are some other companies product. so you need to go specific mobile made company's service center. that is the reason, no body tell me that from where i can get the service for my defected mobile.                                   I suggest all readers to stay away from Virgin mobile in india, recently i had purchased their V-Link modem for internet use.After submitting documents, i started using for about three weeks, then i went aborad and on return, i found that my services were stopped, the reason i found out after a week of calling, was that my documents were not verified.It was their mistake because when they made call for verification, i was abroad, , the stupid company decided to verify after almost three weeks of my activation.
                                  Not only that the internet connection is always intermittent.
                                  Once when i ran out of balance and then upon charging, i found that my services had stopped again.
                                  Since i had spent around 2000 rs, i dont feel like throwing in the gutter straight away.

                                  but the topmost reason why nobody should ever buy virgin internent data card, is that because of the shoddy, extremely poor, and non existent customer or technical service.
                                  First of all the main number is 666...something which is not TOLL FREE, (just bcoz nobody should be calling them.And if you are fortunately connected to a real person, he asks all the questions, but never has answers.In the end the person will either give another number or tell you that he will call back after an hour.After a day when no call comes, the same person will again go thru the routine and say that he will get back to you in an hour.
                                  Tata is a reputed company, which will loose all the market share if it does not clean up its act and end the association with virgin mobile.
                                  I still cannot understand why the service provider has not given a toll free number for technical service.
                                  When i enquired they said that the toll free number is for dealer.
                                  So the point is they just want to sell their ware.
                                  My net charges exceeds 1000 per month, and next i am going to disconnect from virgin mobile forever, and never in my lifetime, either me or my relatives or friends will go for that fecking service.
                                  Also remember the warning-the net justs gets disconnected after every 5 minutes and ofcourse i never found the solution while at home, , coz i never got a proper person to speak with from the company side.

                                      I have bought a Virgin Mobile from Het Communication. (Rajkot-Gujarat-India). My Virgin phone is VKwel ( MEID : A[protected]D2) & Sim no is [protected]. This is Gujarat’s number and I am using in Gujarat circle. Which is my local network. But company charge me as roaming.
                                      I complained to customer care about five times, In ten days. But there neither any reply nor any actions taken by virgin mobile company.
                                      The customer care is always replied me that “Your Complain will be surely solved in 24 hours". But still 10 days (240 hrs) of complain the problem is still ahead.
                                      till today near about my 600/- Rs are deducted for incoming and outging Roaming plan. and Still deducting...
                                      Please Inform me, And Follow this Complain.

                                      The Virgin which has been taken over by TATA is requested to look in the matter and do justice immediately and call for explanation of concerned erroneous officials and provide me the money for incoming calls from[protected] and reverse amt amount deducted on behalf of any special recharge tariff voucher as I am having the details of last two years recharges done my me in my mobile No and no special tariff recharge is done by me in my mobile No because my rates are Rs 0=50 paisa local and Rs 1=00 for STD.Tata is suggested to strengthen their customer helpline and the upline of Customer Executive should be there if the lower order is unable to solve the problem .The problem is persisting since[protected] but no help no assistance and no proper reply

                                        This is to inform u that vergin etop connection has been terminated by company without any information.I am a businessman and my this mobile number [protected] has been spread to all my customers, friends, relatives and also in my bank accounts.so i am informing u to please help me for continue services on above mentioned mobile no.i am still waiting for your side about my cimplaints.
