I had made a booking in february for tata hexa for a day (16th feb) in chennai (Booking id jps66ne3d). Even on 15th feb, i checked the zoomcar app, the booking showed live. However, when i reached the pickup point on 16th feb 06:30 am, the car was not available, even the app was showing the car has reached the pickup point. I called their customer support only to find that car has gone for service and they cant provide another 7 seater at my location, rather i have to travel to airport to get a replacement scorpio. I was stranded at the road with my family and i had to cancel my plan for the day. It was really frustrating and highly dissappointed with zoomcar. They didnt even showed the courtesy to call and inform the previous day about the unavailability. I dont think i'll book a zoom car again!! Shoddy service.

We did have a check and see that one of our executives reached out to you and addressed the above issue. Unfortunately, we were unable to serve the booking with the booked vehicle owing to vehicle shortage. Hence, our team suggested an alternate vehicle and the same was allocated post receiving confirmation from your end, however, you were not happy with the suggested vehicle later and wanted the booking to be canceled.

We are already working on our negative inventory to ensure such escalation is reduced and we serve well to our customers.

Wrong statement. I had to call your support system to know that vehicle is not there at the pickup location, that too i waited for a 10 minutes to get the reply. Another issue is your executive wanted me to go to Airport and pick the alternate vehicle. My issue is why did the App showed vehicle has reached the pickup point and why your executive was unable to deliver at the pickup point??

      Hi,

      This is hari. I have booked zoom car in october 2019. I have uploaded the customer copy slip for the fuel refund but i did not get my refund still.

      I do not know why zoom car gave me a car without fuel when i booked for a car with fuel. Also, the kms are pre populated. Zoom car charges for all that kms. Then why refund needs a bill? Even after providing a bill, they say this is not correct bill. I filled the petrol in a village where they don't even understand what a bill is. Please process my refund.

      Hi, I was waiting for a long time for my refund and thought I will never get it. But through Consumercomplaints.in it was possible. Yayyy I got my refund!!! Zoomcar responded well here. They took 3 to 4 days time but my issue is finally resolved. But make sure you continuously bug them. Thanks Hari

Please click on the option and add your bank details on the landing page. Once you click on submit, the amount shall be instantly transferred to your bank account.

      Today I got my refund. So now @Zoomcar, what if I book my next travel with a package that includes fuel? Do you fill and give or do I need to fill and follow the same complaint process?

        I booked zoomcar on saturday 8th feb 2020. While taking the car i checked the fuel level and uploaded the picture of the same in the zoom car application on my phone, i refueled the car for my journey and later when i returned the car, i gave back the car with the same level of fuel. Both the pictures before and after the journey show the same fuel level in the car. While returning back my security deposit zoom car india has not returned my complete security deposit saying that they spent rs 576 for refueling the vehicle.
        According to their policy, there was no one around while i took the vehicle so as they say i uploaded the pictures directly to zoom car india.
        The fault was not mine, the fuel level was initially low when i got the car, but i still returned the car with more fuel, still they charged me extra, it wasn't my fault, it was actually the fault of the caretakers of the cars at zoomcar, unnecessarily i was charged rs576 more. This is unfair.

          I have booked a zoomcar on 9 october. That time, while making payment, seesion got timed out but the money was deducted.
          For same, i am trying to reach zoomcar support, but they dont have any customer support contact number, neither they are replying to my emails nor giving me a call back.
          They replied twice, but both times their response was not related to my issue and they are also asking me to share my personal financial details with them.

            license rejected "blacklisted territories"

            I have booked car and uploaded my license, it was rejected several times.
            Customer support called and said for some security reasons your booking has been cancelled and on asking reason she replied we cant disclose reason to customer.
            Then i checked profile verification section, my license got rejected as seen in attached screenshot.
            What does it mean blacklisted?
            How can it be possible to blacklisted when someone...

            booked car not available and fault replacement car

            I had made a booking in november for zuv500 from 6th february to 8th february. Even on 5th feb, i checked the zoomcar app, the booking showed live. However, when i reached the pickup point in bangalore airport, the car was not available. The staff was quite rude and refused to provide a replacement and insisted that i speak to customer service. They told me that the car i booked was not available and the next possible replacement will take...

            I used my friends dl info register and verify my account. At that instant i didn't knew about the policy of the company.
            Now my friend needs his info for registering his account. So i need the account to be deleted so that he can use his personal info for himself. (In this case his dl info).
            So i kindly request the account to be deleted. So that it may be possible for him to register and use his account.
            (Ps: now i have aquired my own dl so i wish to register that to my account)

              Most pathetic service ever provided by a car rental company..!

              Before handing over the vehicle, zoomcar does not even do a basic quality check.. Warning to everyone, who are planning to book vehicle through zoomcar, consider other apps or can even check the local vendors for rental but do not book cars through zoomcar

              I have had a terrible experience and the only response i got from zoomcar was "we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, we can't help you in the situation"

              A. The car ac was not working
              B. It was the most dirtiest car with dust all around the seats, mats and dashboard
              C. The drive side power window was also not function properly (Imagine, there was no ac the power window was also not working properly)
              D. Tyres of the car were worn out

              1. I had booked for a car from zoomcar (Booking id jps6nc3h0) for my stay in mumbai, after completing all the formalities to start my trip, i noticed that the car ac was not working. Immediately i informed the support team of zoomcar to give me a replacement as the heat was unbearable but the response i received was "that there are no cars available" whereas when i checked the app there were many car available. Instead they told me to go to a near by ac repair shop and get the ac fixed.

              2. My main purpose of taking the car on rent was to travel to shirdi with my parents, that's why i took ford ecosport instead of all other options available, so we can have better leg room. It generally takes around 6 hours to reach shirdi from mumbai and we had planned to reach there by 7 pm but i was unaware of the ac repair time and the level of frustration i was about to face.ac repair guy told me, that problem may be fixed in 5 minutes or it may also take 4-5 hours.

              3. I informed the customer care of zoomcar about the time ac repair would have taken but again did not receive any positive response for the zoomcar team.in fact they were insisting me to get the ac repair without even thinking that it was not my duty to get the ac fixed.

              4. Still i waited patiently as the technician was trying to fix the ac. At 3 pm i received another call from zoomcar for informing that there were no car available for replacement, by now i was already 2 hours late for my journey to start and the time to reach shridi was around 6 hours and 30 minutes on maps. Then at around 3.15 pm i again called the customer care to get some support as the time was passing by but unexpectedly they had the same answer "sir we are sorry for the inconvenience caused, we can't help you in this situation and the only way out is to get your ac fixed, we will reimburse you the charges for getting the ac fixed".

              5. Still i waited to get some support from zoomcar, but i was not aware that zoomcar is such a horrible company, that don't even do basic quality check before handing-over the car to its customers. Around 4 pm i again called up the customer care to get some solution as the ac repair guy tried everything but was enable to fix the problem and had a called for a technician from ford with a scanner to check where the exact problem was, this time someone from the senior team gave me a call to tell that there was a car in borivali and byculla, which were like 2 ends of the city from where i was standing (Andheri west) and on the map it showed me 70-80 minutes to reach at of the location above, but the customer care guy informed me that i will have to leave the car at the drop-off location first and then go the pick-up location of the other car available. The time was running for me and now at 4 pm it showed me around 10.30 pm reaching time in shirdi. I requested the senior team guy to give me a call back in 10 minutes so that i can decide onto the next steps. Unexpectedly i did'nt receive any call for atleast 20 minutes and then i again called the customer care at around 4.30 pm to request the same guy to call me back.

              6. By now the technician from ford also tried his luck to get the ac fixed but was enable to do so and informed me this the ac can only fixed at the ford service station. Now at around 4.45 i received a call from the same guy from senior team of zoomcar and to my sock he said "sorry sir i forgot to call you back". This is what we expect from a company like zoomcar, without even understand the level of frustration and mental torture that we were facing.

              7. Now at around 5 pm when i decided to take the replacement the senior team guy told me that the car that was available in borivali got reserved for some other booking, so just because your negligence to give me call back even that car was gone. And very easily the senior team guy told me to leave the keys in the car and continue with some other mode of transport. Upon telling him repeatedly that my parents would be with me and it would not easy for them to take any other mode of transport at that moment. With no option left, i had to take that car without the ac with senior citizens sitting in the car.

              In the end they told me that rs 1000 would refunded back, this is how they value their customers.

              I request zoomcar to take all the necessary action (If they care) and provide me complete refund on my booking for the mental torture and the level of frustration me and parents faced.

I want to unblock my account because i really need this i didn't do any thing my account was hacked by my roomate i didn't know about anything what he do.                   Have contact them to complete my booking after 1hrs i received a msg of complete booking and in mail i got a msg that you have not paid outstanding money they have added a money for not dropping car on time
                  But i have drop at time which i have given from in first the app is showing where you have to drop
                  So that's why i have drop there i think my work is done then i returned to my home but they added money of delay dropping of car

                      I booked a car under a promotion activity carried out by zoom car. They cancelled the booking without my confirmation and refused to provide the alternative service, stating that the pr activity was mistake. Where as they collected my personal information (Licence details, adhaar details) for booking. And later cancelled the booking. I wish to get an alternative arrangement similar to what i booked.                       Not a valid answer your team is providing. If it was a glitch at your end. You should book an alternative car at same price. And also if you don't do that. I shall consider this as fraud to collect information and practice o[censored]nprofessional activity for promotion. Please book the another car at same prize. The promo code clearly states that it is provided under PR ACTIVITY, as you can see in screen shots.

                          This is regarding a refund amount of Rs.846/- of Diesel refueling on 17th Jan.
                          The booking done was a car with fuel but we got it empty fueled.

                          I'm really disappointed with Zoomcar assistance service that no action has been taken since then despite writing so many mails and contacting the customer support team.

                          This mail is again regarding a serious complaint that it has been more than 20 days and the particular amount is still not credited to my account.If any action is not taken regarding this complaint I'll directly contact the higher authorities and will make sure that all o[censored]s who went for the trip down rate Zoomcar and posts comments today or tomorrow.

                            I had booked a car 1 month back . Until now i have not been refunded the money. There is no costumer support available.
                            Very bad experience with zoom car.they have my 4000₹ which they are not refunding.
                            Moreover the car they provided was very dirty from the inside.

                              Dear I want to share about how this selfdrive company looting customer as one of the example is ZOOMCAR

                              Their customer support is chargable which is 5 rs per minute so if you in deep of danger and you do not have special recharge or not able to recharge as due to no internet then you are almost die

                              At the end of trip and when you check next day you always find they will charge you anonymous as 300-400 rs which has no details

                              They will give you almost empy fuel and when you fill it they will not refund it you will die to follow up with then

                              Please help to stop this kind of harassment by ZOOMCAR

                                Hi zoom car team,

                                My issue is regarding jps66x3pp booking.
                                I booked car on 26 jan. 2020 8:30 am to 9:30 pm.
                                Then i actually lost the car keys on 26 jan. Around 9:00 pm while visiting some temples as i went to visit temples of vrindavan.
                                I informed zoom car customer care about loosing keys and they told me that i will be charged 10000 for the key lost charges as their policies and late fee would not be charged and it was showing on mobile application an outstanding amount of 10000 to be paid.
                                Then customer care team told me that they are arranging a towing van to get the car back at pickup location. And on 27 jan. For the entire day i was at the car location where towing has to be done but towing van didn't come entire day and refused to come because the car was parked in a basement parking, and i had to stay there near car. Simultaneously i was trying to find the keys also because i knew that towing can damage to the car also and will be a trouble to zoom car team.
                                Then on 28 jan still i was waiting for the towing van but they didn't come and entire day was passed and i informed zoom car team and they put a complaint against towing team as you can see in the system.
                                Now on 29 jan. I actually found the keys back as simultaneously i was putting efforts to find the keys and i found it by help of a (One of the temples i visited that day) temple management team, they found the keys and returned to me.
                                And then i returned car at my own to the pickup location on 29 jan. By 9:30 pm
                                And now the mobile application is showing that outstanding amount is 42000 for the late fee of 3 days.
                                But in this case it should be noticed that late was done by towing team and i was still trying to find the keys to save zoom car team time and efforts.
                                And it should be also noticed that what would have happened if i didn't found the keys back then car would have been towing.

                                So the charges should be only 10000 as i was informed earlier and mobile application was also showing. And late was done by towing team.
                                Now i am not gonna pay 42000 because it was not my fault at all. It was towing team fault that they didn't come for 2 days.
                                So the amount should be reduced to 10000.

                                So i am requesting zoom car team that please reduce some amount.
                                42000 is huge amount for me and i am a student.

                                  I have completed a trip with zoom car on october 2019 and still my security deposit and fuel charges are not refunded.                                     Hi,

                                    I am from mumbai & for my recent pilgrimage trip to ujjain i had booked a zoom car (Booking id: jps66vpy4) on 18th jan till 21st jan with the add on 'with fuel' option in indore city

                                    I received the vehicle in pathetic condition & with very low fuel & was asked to fuel up myself along with the assurance of getting reimbursed later, such was the condition of the vehicle that we could see 'pan ghutka' spits in the interiors, speaking about the exterior there was no places where the car was not dented or had big scratches the car looked that it took quite a lot of beating earlier.

                                    The clutch condition of the car was undrivable & we some how managed to complete our trip by covering the bare minimum kms mileage we were utterly frustrated.

                                    We returned the car in as is condition to the delivery agent who apparently was fine while delivery & we were expecting our security deposit to be returned back however 2 days post ending our trip we see that zoomcar has levied heavy damage fine on us & along with additional outstanding payment, the image proof of the damage was provided by zoom car was of broken axle of the car's underbody which was already present when the car was given to us & we were unaware that the car we rode was a threat to our life

                                    We had contacted their call center & raising the ticket on their zoom car app (Case: 1604127) we have asked for the below specific proofs & clarification from zoomcar with regards to the damage however we have not got valid response & this looks like a scam or fraud to extort money from its customers:

                                    I have attached all the relevant proofs for our case & below are the clarifications we are seeking from zoomcar with respect to the false damage claims:

                                    - firstly, drop-off time mentioned in the zoomcar app and that of the shared images do not match. The shared images have a timestamp of 21st jan, 2020 at 3.52pm & 3.53pm respectively which is way before than the actual drop-off timestamp of 21st jan, 2020 at 4.30pm as given in the zoomcar application.in my knowledge, the application logs the timestamp only after the otp has been entered. How could someone have clicked pictures of the car before it has been handed over? Please explain.

                                    - the shared images in anyway do not state that they belong to the same vehicle that was handed over. How can zoomcar ascertain us that shared images belong to the same vehicle?

                                    - do you have an image of the underbody that belongs to the same vehicle which has been taken before the car was handed over to us (18th jan, 2020 at 12.00pm) with the accurate timestamp? I would like to understand how does zoomcar claim that it's a damage caused during our possession - since, as i'd clearly mentioned in my previous email, i haven't had any accident or incident that could have caused any damage. I totally deny your damage claim being levied upon me.

                                    - the underbody check is not a part of your pre-determined check-list which occurs pre and post-delivery of the vehicle. This indicates that zoomcar is trying to extract additional money in the context of damage which isn't a part of the check-list that may have happened either beforehand or after our possession of the vehicle.

                                    - should i assume, that the mentioned underbody damage was present beforehand, and was perpetrated to go unnoticed as it wasn't covered in your check-list - these shared images when put along with the images i've taken prior delivery of the vehicle clearly states that the vehicle was already in a very bad state & was a risk to human life - also, this further indicates that zoomcar has jeopardized the safety my life along with all my co-passenger's lives by handing over the vehicle without basic pre inspection health checks, as per the rto rules the vehicle appears to be unfit to have all india travel permit!

                                    - i can’t help but stress on the fact that zoomcar has given us a substandard unsafe car which comprised the safety of me and my beloved ones & in case this escalates further it will be taken in as a serious point going ahead.

                                    - i am also suspicous that the why the delivery agent who handed over the car was different than the person who took delivery of the car, we have taken the necessary pictures to prove our case, this surely appears to be a scam to extract money from the customers.

                                    - i would like to share the video evidences for your reference hence request you to please provide the necessary email id, you yourself can judge the state of the car by referring to the attached images.

                                    - let me be clear and state this again that i do not wish to pay up for any damage that was not caused by me during my possesion of the vehicle

                                    As a consumer i would like to initiate this complaint zoomcar and would like to get my security deposit released & drop the false claim charges.

                                    As the charges are valid, you are billed Rs. 999 as per the policy.

                                    We also have video footage of the condition of the car which was provided to us before taking the possession of the car as a proof. Zoomcar has charged underbody damage of the car which is outright wrong because
                                    1) We did not damage it during our possesion
                                    2) Thier Pre- Delivery Check list does not mention to do an inderbody inception.

                                    Zoomcar had seriously put our lives at risk by giving us unfit car to travel & now claiming false charges for it, we demand full refund for the service we took from Zoomcar.
