Today i.e. 28 –04-2010 at 6.45 AM, I purchased a packet of AMUL GOLD milk , bearing the batch no.1B 29 APR 2010 P H from a near by shop at sector F Jankipuram Lucknow. It immediately broke down with a foul smell when I started it to heating. Only then I checked the empty packet for packing date.
Now the following questions are to be answered by AMUL Co.
1. Whether this packet is genuine or duplicate?
2. If it is genuine, then why it is bearing an advance date {29 APR 2010}?
3. How the packet has two addresses of PACKED at?
I have kept this empty packet safe for any future reference and can be checked by any AMUL authorized representative or any MEDIA person.
Nowadays when we are seeing news on TV about duplicate, synthetic or spurious products specially MILK, it pertinent to make such complaint.
Hoping for a very prompt action very much on today otherwise on tomorrow this complaint shall loose its authenticity.

today i have purchased amul taaza milk from at my nearest shopkeeper, he has given the packet of milk with the batch no 8 A and H 83 of dated 17th april.
after opening the same packet i have found that the milk was spoiled, shopkeeper has told that same packet he has received from local supplier today itself. he is not ready to give any invoice of the same.so that any complain can be lodge. kindly suggest me what to do in this regard at my cell no [protected].

I am a resident of New Town Rajarhat KOLKATA - 700156. I would like to draw your attention that all the amul milk suppliers are charging more than the MRP mentioned on the pack. Since everyone in the area is doing so we have no option but to pay that higher price. The MRP of amul gold as mentioned is Rs 32 and they are charging Rs. 33 to 35 depends on supply.

COMPLAINT ABOUT SELLING AMUL DAIRY PRODUCTS AT PRICE THAT IS MORE THAN MRP.



Hi, I live in banipark,jaipur(rajasthan). In Sindhi Colony, Banipark there is a shop who sells Amul Dairy Products on Rates Higher than the MRP which is written on the products.
Eg. he sells Amul Buttermilk (chhach) for 8.00 Rupees while its MRP is Rs. 7.00 .

So i request you to look into the matter and take appropriate action against him bcoz it also affects every day consumption of products and AMUL BRAND NAME .

The Amul Shakti Milk supplied in pouches is found adulterated. I found blotting paper instead of cream after boiling. Also the packets are old with the expiry date and maunfacturing dates frequently smudged or scribbled off. This is a frequent phenomenon.

I request a thorough investigation and bring the culprits to justice , since this is a serious health hazard affecting millions of our countrymen.

The milk supplied to my residence is through a dealer M/s Vidhi Parlour at Reliance Greens Township market .

This is a complaint form a middle class wife that in a peiod of six months or less the prices of amul milk packets have increased by approx 6-8 rs per lit/half lit. from Rs. 23/lit to Rs.27/lit to now Rs. 29/lit.

the quality remains the same...then why this price rise when govt is trying all measures to control. and the price mentioned on the packets are of old days then why should as a customer I end up paying more?

sir,
the local shops here are demanding 50 paisa extra on the each packet of " amul shakti", a product of sumul milk products company. which comes with written MRP-13.50. in the same way " amul gold" which comes with written MRP-14.50 are sold in this area at 15.00 rupees.

when i protested they came up with silly answer that the extra charge is for refrigeration. 50 PAISA is really a matter of cocern...

i had purchased amul shrikhand big pack from a retail shop.but the taste is bad.also the shopkeeper had stored it in the deep freezer instead of fridge.although there is time for the product's expiry.the taste of the shrikhand is tasting spoiled and cannot be consumed at all.

kindly investigate.since we are regular users of amul products from ice creams to shrikhands

Today 03/04/2010 I purchase Amul Gold milk pack 500ml net M.R.P. 15.0 from Munirka, New Delhi when I checked it was shocking that date mention on the packet is 05/04/2010. I don’t know why future date is mentioned on the packet. Why manufacture date is not mentioned on the packet? Does it mean that Amul gold milk making public fool by mentioning future date?

I hope amul gold milk top management will take care about it and take a serious action against this illegal activity. I am waiting for your response at the earliest.

Sir, We are using AMUL SHAKTI milk daily,and delivered by the person who dealer of same.To day morning my wife take delivery of 500 ml milk pouch & put it near me.I just see the pouch & read the details printed on pouch when I saw the Date of packing realy surprised that the pouch having date of 19 / 03 / 10.and delivered on 18 / 03 /10.Means there is no any inspection when milk delievered for distribution.Now I doubt that the milk distributed of past date of packing.Who will be responsible ? I shocked that the brand of Amul people having 100% trust.
Can you explain why this type of mistake accure.If you wants empty milk pouch then it is available with me, you can observe it on below address

I have moved to Vapi(Gujrat) last month from Ahmedanad.we take Amul milk bags every day since last so many years. and what I am finding here at vapi, that all the distributers or shopkeepers charge 50 peisa extra on MRP.for any milk bags of Amul. and that too not as a delivery charges or storage charges..they just sell milk and illegally charges extra in all over the city,they dont even bother to give any reason for this. They all have made up union sort of thing that nobody can sell the milk on MRP.
I m sure that Amul milk comp. doesnt get any of this extra amount.but atleast they should talk to these distributors regarding this as this is going on in all over this small city without any hasitation and fear.

AMUL GOLD MILK

I had purchased 3 x 500 ml. packs of Amul Gold Pasteurised Full Cream Milk on 2 March, 2010 from a nearby Shop "Harish General Store" located at Parwana Road, Delhi 110051.
But on the same day, when I boiled the milk, it started curdling & the whole 1.5 ltrs. of milk turned sour.

I am a regular buyer of Amul Gold milk from last many months from the above mentioned retailer but when I complained him & asked him to replace the milk, he totally denied & said that it's not his fault & it's Amul Diary's fault.

The batch codes mentioned on the 3 packs are G-G 03-03-10 N, G-C 03-03-10 N & on third pack, the batch code is not visible.

Please urgently look into the matter & take a necessary action against the aforesaid, since this didn't happened to me for the first time but this is the third time, when I had faced such a problem.

Yours ice cream is very dirty i wasted my 20 bugs for that.

I had brought an Amul Icecream buy 1 get 1 offer, flavour Fruit Bonanza for rs 130/-. from Reliance outlet, annanagar, Chennai last week. It was so bad , it had sand particles diffusely spread in it. Also it caused severe throat irritation after just tasting one bit. the whole thing was binned. This is not the 1st time. I have faced similar situation when I brought a similar pack, different flavour from santosh Stores, Annanagar.

I haved purchased a 2 ltr Butter Scotch Amul Ice Cream from Sewri, Mumbai retailer. When we opened it, there was a piece of hand glouse inside the ice cream.

Hello Sir,

All those companies I mentioned (Mother Dairy, Amul, Mahananda, Aarey) are selling milk packets on the price more than the Maximum Retail Price. Can we do something about this?

I Had sent mail informaing Amul about the quality of the milk , when i opened the tetrapack of amul lite, normally the colour is white but the color i recieved had a pinkish tinge, i reported them with the batch number and mfg date of product. But to my dismay , they have not responded to 2 mails. I am a regular user, but now am sceptical o[censored]sing their products, who knows if it is a manufacturing defect or spurious, Consumers should be wary before using their milk products for kids especially.

I have been using Amul milk for many years. Recently I realized that date of manufacturing written on the milk packet is always one day ahead. For example, if today's date is 20th, the packet has 21st written on it. I believe it's manufacturing date and not expire date. Please let me know if I'm correct. If so, let me know what I should be doing?

Sub: Complain of not receiving the milk on the routine scheduled time.

We are distributor of Amul Milk since last five years in the Vastral, Area of Ahmedabad.
We are not getting the milk since last 7 days when we have asked the reason for this to the Area Sales Manager. When we didn't receive the proper feedback then we went to their Gandhinagar (Mother Dairy ) Branch and the reason got by them was that:

You will not get the milk for selling because you are not selling the Amul Ice-Cream. When we denied to do that they stopped to deliver milk from the next day. We don't want to sell the Amul Ice-cream due to following reasons:
1.We have tied up with Vadilal Industries Ltd for selling Ice-cream and we much satisfied with their service and we don't want to sell any other company's purchase. Even we have made the agreement for this with M/s Vadilal Industries Ltd.
2.Whereas there is not much qualitative ice-cream compare to anyother ice-cream
3.Amul Company has never given any such services compare to Vadilal Industries so how can we entrust that they will give the better service for selling the Ice-cream.

I want to understand that do we have a such policy in our country where we have purchase the other product for getting a needed products.

on 2nd nov 1805 i bought 2 packs of super saver ice cream butter scotch, fruit &nut after assurance of the staff that it is safe to take to andheri .in half hour it was half melted .only butter scotch pack it leaked out of the plastic bag provided , dripped to the floor. talked to mr. jiten.tamore owner .
there should be warning if it cannot be carried.but friut &nut didnot melt. please look in to the matter.
