Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] Complaints & Reviews

My landline No:[protected] is not working for the last 2 weeks, i already complained in the telephone exchange many times, but not yet take any action from their part. I am working in Dubai, and i can't able to contact my family for the past two weeks.

Kindly takes action against my complaint.

my name is prateek gupta(student).i have paid 110Rs for bsnl online recharge from my account but i have'nt got my recharge payment.i m still waiting for recharge or refund.
and also waiting for response but there is no response.my mobile number [protected] for which i had use this payment gateway.i[censored] can give me response then thank you.

Since about last 3 months, my landline phone no, [protected] has ben out of order. As a result, my broadband connection is not working since then, Inspite of my repeated complaints to Chief GM at Guwahati, GM at Dibrugarh, Deputy GM at Dibrugarh and at SDO at Tinsukia, nothing has ben done by them. I am an Income tax consultant and I have to file online Income tax returns of my variou clients, which I could not do during last three months, whcih may result in imposition of penalty on my clients. This magnitude of indifferent attitude and negligence by telephone deptt.officres is not appreciable at all. It apperas all deptt.fficres are only holding their offices for their salary and other remuneration and are not concerned at all concerned for customers complaints. Govt. should do something drastic to control this type of attidude of officres and appoint some more competent people on public services post..

I recharged my BSNL mobile prepaid number with the denomination of Rs 501 in which I get free Local and STD calls from BSNL to BSNL all over India. Problem is that, whenever I try to call any BSNL mobile number, it says "All routes are busy, please try after sometime" or "Not allowed". Please note that this does not happen when I try to call using normal tariff/plan. Meantime I am always able to call those numbers from other service providers. This is just the wastage of the money. Please have it resolved.

I am a customer of BSNL land line having the facility of Brodband (Customer ID - [protected], A/C No [protected], Phone number [protected]). Now the phone has not been working (dead) from 02/05/2010 due to cable fault under the ground about 300m in length. Other few connections (one of these also has broadband & another one for high school) also is in same condition for the same reason.

We have already inform to SDO (telephone) Tamluk individually fewer time verbaly even through written application (which has refuse to receive) once on few months back.

I have also send e-mail about this problem to SDE(PRO) at "[protected]@sancharnet.in" twice, but no body reply me.

My telephone no :[protected] BSNL Broadband Nasik , Maharashtra , As per the plan which I have taken I should get 4mbps speed ( 900 uld home plan ), but I am getting only 30 kbps speed,
and no one in the bsnl is solving the problem behaving arrogantly and not picking the phone...

i had purchased a BSNL 3 G data card -- based at Hissar , haryana -- Hissar city at sect 13 & Mahavir Colony. I have never been able to get desired advt. speed for my card. avg. I am getting is 0.05 mb/s. Further to add to your discomforts it gets disconnected off & on.Despite of complaing at all levels hardly any thing has moved.
I had called there SDO Mr. Sushil johar & there AGM Mr. Jakhar no. of times but of no use..... always with a std. sarkari reply -- i am looking into this & will improve ??????? kab jago gai bhai log.
I thisnk BSNL should get the same rectified at the earliest & also arrange to give me compensation for the harrasement being undertaken by me. atleast they should immediately arrange for refunding the chrgs. + the modem charge so as i can shift to some other provider???

We were using BSNL LANDLINE AND BROADBAND services at our residence in DLF Gurgaon. We had applied TO SHIFT our TELEPHONE LINE from DLF to SECTOR -15, in the begining of NOVEMBER, 10.
Till date January,11 WE have NOT BEEN GIVEN THE TELEPHONE CONNECTION.

I had applied for BroadBand connection in September 2010 and Modem and other accesories installed on 30.10.2010. But I was not received connection till 1st week of December, 2010. A Bill for Rs.1800/- received by me were paid on the assumption that the connection will be received soon. On my thourgh complaint I received Net connection only for 5 days djuring the month of December, and thereafter no connection has been received. Kindly do the needful to receive Net connection at an early date.

My landline BSNL number[protected] is dead since last many days and after registering complaints it has not been attended by BSNL authorities of Meerut.

I have submitted an application to shift my Phone No.2362558 from Katemaniwali to my new flat at Chinchpada on[protected] at Kalyan West Customer Care Office. That time they have promised that it would normally take 3-4 days. However, after several follow-up, it is understood that due to technical problem it is delaying. If I booked for new connetion from other sources it may take 3-4 days. In above existing line I am using broadband also. So, I am in urgent need of above landline. Now I dont know when I will get the above land line at my new address. Hope your goodself and attentionwill do the needful.

My landline connection, coming under medical college exchange, works for 2 weeks and does not work for the next 1 month or more than that. As usual I raise complaint, there won't be anyone coming to our house... I usually see the "line men" in our area and informs them about the complaint that I raised. Though people are at home after 1 PM, these guys complain that whenever they come, there is no one at home. If they say they will come on a particular day ,I can take a leave from office and wait for them (It's a shame on any service provider to make me write this).

I basically took the BSNL 500C plan for awailing the telephone and internet facility for personal and official purposes. If the connection does not work continuously for 4 weeks (this has been happening repeatedly), why would someone stick on to BSNL? I have decided that I will not hold on to BSNL landline or broadband anymore. I had been wasting 500+ bucks every month.

I very well know the reason for this poor service. I've not given any pocket money for the people who came for the service during the last 2 times. And I am not willing to... I'd been to places outside India, and I know what customer service is... I will stick on to private service providers than bribing people.

I have complained regarding Mobile internet traiff fraud recharge on 23rd Dec. 2010 at Marketing Division in Ranchi Jharkhand. Mr. Dhananjay agent of BSNL Ranchi Division. I said him to do recharge for for Mobile internet traiff for six month Rs. 555/- but no SMS or no charge has done, on demand I paid the same amount. He did froud to me.

Pls do not believe of the advertisement going on our television ......faster than our thoughts.....its download speed is just 10kbps.....that is to download a 20mb file ...u have to wait for 1.5hours....wat the bsnl people doing.....recently i tried to update my mobile ....and shocked about the speed of bsnl 3G...wat to do...india will never grow in the technology...where the whole world is working on 4G .....v even dont have the 3G in major cities itself....that's shame to our...

I PURCHASED A BSNL 3G SIM CARD ON TUESDAY[protected], INSPITE OF THAT MY SIM CARD IS NOT ACTIVATED, IT PLAYING A MESSAGE OUTGOING AND INCOMING CALLS ARE BARRED FOR THIS NUMBER, BUT WHEN I CHECKED THE BALANCE IT SHOWS RS. 150/- AND VALIDITY UP TO[protected], PLEASE HELP

With due respect and humble submission i wish to submit the following few lines for your kind consideration and favourable action please
Sir, My father in laws landline No is [protected] is not working from near about 15 days . They complaint to your office time to time but no any progress about the above land line number. Sir The Anchal BSNL exchange telecom staff (including DEO) not repaired the above number (Please see the complaint history of this number).


Sir I am a serving soldier in indian Army ( Corps of Signals) and my wife and chidren are living in my wife house and these number is only my communication media . Due to the non coverage of the mobile , landlinemedia only a conversation media with my children and wife. Sir this complaint is not cleared some somethings of your DEO and duty lineman .

So I request to you please repair my ibid land line number as soon as possible and please I communicate with my wife and children regularly

I shall ever gratefull to you for this act of kindness

I an a BSNL prepaid user for than 3 yrs.I am getting problem from the overcharging of call rates and sms rates since last ONE MONTH. I have more than thousand times to contact customer care but failed to resolve the problem.
So, I have knocked the door of your forum. Please help me if you can in any way.
