Dear sir,
I am living in kadavalloor, Trichur dist. In fact this complaint is about BSNL has already installed a mobile tower close to my house. The distance is 6 MTRS from my house. I am living with my family of three children and I am really concerned about the radiation effects from the subject tower.

Therefore would appreciate receiving your feedback.

BSNL — Complaint about a tower

One BSNL Tower named 'Perumon' residing in kollam district kollam thaluk,Kerala is not working properly.
The call is automatically dropped when talking. All BSNL customers under this tower experience this complaint

I want to say that there is more and more prblem, we face about the airtel network in our area, my address in the state of orissa, Bodharam sahoo, at/po-adia, via-Bant, dist-Bhadrak, pin no.-756114 india.And I want a tower to be erected at above place in my own area . please send me full details about it. my home area is more than 9000SQ feet . my contect no. is [protected], [protected]

Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I am a resident of Naokata village under Baksa district of Assam. The BSNL mobile tower nearest to my house is NAOKATA C. But the network service from this tower is very poor for last few months.

It will be pleasure for us if the concern authority take the actual step to solve the problem.

I am Johnsheen from Coorg .All these years we had no BSNL mobile service in my home in DUBARE(Nanjarayapatna) which is a tourists place near Kushalnagar.Recently you have installed a tower and started your service.Many people are happy for that. I would like to bring to your notice as a feed back about two problems so that you can rectify them. 1.Often the tower signal goes OFF.( I stay close to the tower). 2.It has a problem of connection to any RELIANZ mobile.Always it says "this number does not exist" whenever we dail any RELIANZ no.Only in the Area of this tower we have this problem.

In district Mainpuri (U.P.) Makiyani village has bsnl tower, no signal strength near by vilaages like Sahan, Pahi, Tikarhar, Nahri, Palikheda etc.A person told that watch man of that tower solde diesel of operating generators.Inquiry must for the signal strength.
In district Mainpuri UP Reliance tower installed by company in Sahan village, but not signal in village area.

Last four days in my village at.post. Hippalgaon tq. Shirur Anantpal, Dist. Latur (Maharashtra) newly install BSNL Mobile Tower is not working properly. BSNL tower was witched off last four to five days but any bsnl officer was not accept complaint for rework tower. Last few days various problem come to home at hippalgaon villgiers becoz mobile was not working properly.

    i have broadband connection got few days before only, i had my own modem bt nw its not working so i told my customer care exchange to please come and install wifi modem at my home but they dont listen and tells me to call from one number to another..and they dont pick call as well . i got internet when it was workin givin me only 10kbps speed where i applied for 250 mbps... please send someone to figure it out as am a MBA student and lot of loss is happening to me coz of non working of internet.my ph no is [protected]
    Sir my Broad band is not working from last 2 months when i talked to the official they are not providing any satisfactory answer. i m preparing for civil services exams so pls help this out.. they say that the card ha s a fault. but its too much now.. its more than 2 months.. so please do this as priority...

      BSNL is our national telecom company. Their tariffs are purposefully made cheaper compared to all other telecom companies because the whole idea behind such a govt company is to make communications accessible to aam admi (common man). So the central govt gives them lots of tax payers money from time to time to "serve the public" (sic).

      If you have a working BSNL phone, you are probably happy. Although you would have struggled to get hold of the connection in the first place, you forget it and move on and happily use your phone/broadband. You consider getting a BSNL connection itself as a BIG achievent, a feather on your cap, and be proud at it and live happily.

      However, let me assure you that this happiness is gonna be very short lived. Phones and broadband connections develop disruptions. Thats inevitable. You might shift residence, you might want to change schemes. This is when the real struggle starts and sometimes never ends. BSNL will make sure that they do "serve" you well enough on such occasions.

      Let me recount my recent experience.

      I had a BSNL phone with DataOne connection. I shifted my residence recently. I shifted to another house in the same layout just 100 meters away. One week before shifting, I gave application to "shift phone" at BSNL office in Koramangala BDA complex.

      A week gone. I call BSNL Mangammanpalya office which looks after my area. After about 10 to 15 attempts they pick up phone. They say no application is received yet. "Ask accounts". They gave one number: [protected]. Lady answers - says "ok, we will forward your application today." I feel very thankful of this favor by this generous lady to a humble customer.

      2 days later I call BSNL Mangammanpalya office. After about 10 to 15 attempts they pick up phone. They say application has been received. "Call lineman". They gave lineman's number.[protected]. I call lineman. No answer. Finally after several attempts, lineman answers. Says your new house has no DP (Distribution Point). I say my next house has lots of DPs, can you connect from there?. Lineman says come and meet engineer.

      I go and meet engineer the next day. Lineman hasn't come to office yet. It is 11:00AM. Engineer takes my mobile number, says lineman will call me.

      Lineman never calls. I call lineman. If at all he picks up, he repeats "come and meet engineer". "What the heck", I think. I tell him I will pay bribe. He isn't impressed.

      I go again. This time both engineer and lineman are present. In front of me, engineer instructs lineman to give me connection. I tell lineman politely, "sir", I have car can you come with me? Lineman says I also have vehicle I will come when I am free. I retreat politely.

      A month gone. Lineman never answers my call. BSNL Mangammanpalya office repeats "call lineman". Deadlock!!!

      I call BSNL grievance numbers given in their website:

      [protected]answers once in 10 attempts) - says we will look into the matter.

      I have "full faith" that they indeed will "look into the matter", ha ha.

      From ad posters, Deepika Padukone and Preity Zinta smiles at me and say "It works for me". I reply - "for me it doesn't work and it won't".

      Recent news says BSNL made 1500 Crore loss. I am not at all surprised.

            Problem started some 6-8 months back, in the day time from Mon-Friday and some times Saturdays, the DNS name resolution becomes almost impossible. I have to refresh 50 times to get a name-to-IP address resolution in the day times and then I will get a page displayed. Never had issues at all in the night times. When I tried to place a complaint, BSNL cust care does not want to agree that there is a problem. They say that there could be some problem with my antivirus, (hell) I am an Engineer and manage several servers everyday.

            I am saying that in the day time, the BSNL DNS servers are not able to take the load and not responding to the client queries. I dont know if I am the only one who is facing the issue but this has become very tedious and frustrating to the peak. Why cant BSNL put some more DNS servers to take the load. May be some one could get me the ip addresses of other DNS servers which might help.

              I have BSNL broadband connection Home500C from 28th june 2009.My broadband was not worked in time period of 3rd july 2009 to 20 july 2009(18 days).I have mad complaint on 3rd july 2009 my complain no is 6366458 and my complaint solved on 20th july.So I want rebate on broadband bill for this reason but in BSNL office they simply reject my request for this.Please help me in this matter.

                I am customer of BSNL Mobile. My complaint is that the BSNL serve me caller tune on my mobile without my permission and later 4 or 5 days company diduct 25 Rs. in my account.
                After all this i sent message UNSUBSCRIBE to 56700 on 17 july 2009 for remove this tunes But company not remove this tunes so far.

                  BSNL Internet Connection — internet connection is not working

                  The Broadband connection is not working from 4th december, 2010 onwards.
                  My connecion number is[protected]
                  Follow these steps:

                  1. Turn on your modem, open any browser, type in the browser http://192.168.1.1
                  2. It will prompt you for username and password. put "admin" (without the quotes) in both field.
                  3. Go to Advanced Setup. There will be 5 bridge connection and 1 PPPoE connection.
                  4. Edit PPPoE Connection.
                  5. Click next, next. Then you will see PPP User Name and Password.
                  6. Set the user id to the first user id with which the connection was taken. and its password as well.
                  7. Next and Save and reboot the modem.

                      I am working permanently with State bank of India & applied broadband connection on[protected] with a request to allow 20% on broadband bill as per scheme of BSNL followed with reminders dt 19-05-09 &
                      17-06-09 but sorry to say nothing being done till yet.
                      Further I also requested in my reminder dt 19-05-09 to give me discount W.E.F. April 2009 but I was refused by the accounts official BSNL Mall road Kanpur

                      what is deposit amount mentioned in bill??why unnecessary we should pay 500 for this???my plan is 500c. replyyy please..phone no-2704012.

                        had a soma wimax fitted into our home the unit was 5, 000/- rs the monthly rental 1, 800/-rs & just to plug it in 750/- had for 5 weeks & has only worked for 3 days. have made over 60 phone calls to the Salesman Ganesh who ignores phone most of the time but did admit he had sold 40 units in Calangute when the band width could only cope with 6. Every day disconnected time after time he said the back up generator at the tower didnt work. He kept saying either tower problem or electric so i asked hom to pick up unit & refund our money he said "what will i do with a unit that has been used". He also now says its where we live in Calangute that wont pick up the tower ( He sold it to us after checking out our home!!) Now we have to wait 10 days to see if he can sell it first. IT is so bad that i have a daily diary.

                            I have got a message that subscription for chat messenger service will be renewed tommorrow. send NODAT ton unsubscribe. Rs 15/ sub I m getting this message for so many months I always send NODAT to 55888 but never goes n they deduct the money. I m not at all using this servie. Plz help how to unsubscribe it.

                            I haven't subscribed any BSNl services. But I got message from 12630030 this number and it says you have subscribed for Chat messages like that. I have called BSNL customer care ([protected]) on 19/01/2011 4PM)and said about message and balance detected Rs30 from my balance. they have taken it as complaint and complaint number is tn[protected]. they told me wait for 24 hours it will be cancelled and money refunded. Today (20/01/2011 4PM) I have called them they said we are not responsible for this. See I haven't subscribed any services but BSNL people not even think of their customers. and the call I waited nearly 30 minutes. Please do the needful for me and get back my balance.                               Respected Sir,

                              With respect, i am vijay satapara. I have purchased EVDO internate modem from BSNL, Rajkot, Gujarat. They claim that they are providing speed upto 2 MBPS, but from my 15 days experience i have never even seen it speed crossing 600 KBPS. And sir, generally it speed remain below 200 KBPS. Sir, we are paying 750 rs per month and though we do not get the speed.

                              For the same complai i had call to BSNL center, Rajkot, Gujarat. They do not recieved any call even we have call every day lots many time.

                              What i have to do? Sir, Please i am really very frasteted that even government company also cheat us then how can we have trus on other company..

                              Sir, please guide me on this perticular matter

                                sir, three days ago, i got a lifetime pre-paid sim for my wife by submitting relevant documents alongwith application, paying rs.49/- at local bsnl office at Nagpur.as promised the numberi, e. ([protected]), was activated with full service. today, the service has been discontinued with no apparant reason. nither incoming nor outgoing facility is available. limited service is displayed on the mobile screen. i have lodged a complain regarding on tollfree no, 24365. but so far there is no remedy to this problem. kindly address this complain to the proper autherity so that i may nget regular service.

Not only that my relatives and friends to whom I send messages is not getting the messages is proper time. A delay of one hour or two hour is there in message receiving.                                   I am a customer of BSNL student suvidha. My sim validity was ending on 2-12-09 so i want to extend that one.For this purpose i went to customer care and ask the details..so for 1 year validity Rs/-276 are ensured and i paid that...After 5 days each sms charges 10 paisa..Before i have 2000 free sms due to this scheme..But my sms do not exceed upto 2000..balance sms are also available till now..but each sms left 10 paisa.What is the reason behind that? any problem in extension? I contact many times with appropriate officers in customer care..But there behaviour was not satisfactory & they behaved impolitely towards me..pls give me a solution...

                                    sir i have an anant connection ...and currently suscribed to caller tune service ...i just want to unsubscribe to the caller tune service...i was told to by the customer care to message UNSUBSCRIBE TO 56700 ...but message is being sent..i tried this eariler also by calling 56700..as a result a lot of balance got wasted...
