Sir,
With due respect this is to inform you that I, Subhasish Mondal, have purchesed two DOST related BSNL SIM card (Ph no: [protected] & [protected]). I have sent DOSTI message on 22/07/09 but still now(06/08/2009) it is not activated. I have called customer care several time but they did not take a single action. In fact last time (06/08/2009 10.50 pm) customer care executive roughly threat me that my number would not be activated anyhow and also funning me for taking legal steps. I really not excepted this kind of behaviour from BSNL team.

Please take strict action for this kind of lazy, careless and bad behaviour's employees.

BSNL(CellOne) — not activating DOSTI

Sir,
I have purchased two Dosti related Sim. It has activated on 20/07/2009 but still the Dosti facility is not activated. I have called customer care several time, they told me it would activated sortly. But still it is not activated. Even I have called higher authority(02/08/2009 12.10pm). He also told same thing even he don't give me the website where I put my complain. I really harassed for this event. Please have a look...

I, sankar shaw, have purchesed DOST related BSNL SIM card . I have sent DOSTI message on 19/08/09 but still now(24/08/2009) it is not activated. I have called customer care several time but they did not take a single action. In fact last time (24/08/2009 3.29 pm) customer care executive roughly threat me that my number would not be activated anyhow and also funning me for taking legal steps. I really not excepted this kind of behaviour from BSNL team.

    Please someone look into the matter. I am really worried to think that this is how a company can do its business without even providing 10% of the product which is being promised. Is there anything in this country which will help the consumers?

Why have you created these websites with so much of wrong information conveyed to the customers?

My account number for the DataOne Broadband Service is KLK[protected]. I should say that i am still with you people for my Broadband because i had this idea that your are the best in this business. However, i can feel now that my thoughts & reality has a huge difference. The kind of customer service
    you people have is extremely downgraded. I myself work for British Telecom, who themselves is the backbone o[censored]K telephony service. SO, i know it very well where we lack & where we are better. Obviously, i am not comparing both the companies. Anyway, let's come straight to the point why i am writing this letter.

    I have a Black Sterlite Wireless Router provided to me by BSNL. The router works fine, no doubt about it(although, i never
    came to find the way to go in it's firmware to open few ports for my PS2). But, this is not my problem. My problem is every
    now & then, i lose the ADSL light on my Router i.e. the broadband signals are intermittent or dropping. I have complained on
    the[protected] number many a times & on every occasion they handed me with a docket number. Rarely, i get a call
    from someone who asks whether its working or not. It works after that, it definitely does. BUT, ONLY FOR ANOTHER
    FEW HOURS!! Then, once again it goes off, comes back & goes off again. Is this what is always expected from BSNL?
    Lousy service?? I strongly believe that there is something wrong at the local exchange & it is not being dealt accordingly.
    I want someone to sort this problem for me. i want my broadband to be working all the time instead of the flashing/Off ADSL
    light.
    Also, i am also attaching a screenshot of my broadband speed tested by YOUR so called Broadband Speed Tester. i cant
    imagine that i am paying for a 2 MBPS BB connection & i am getting a 57.90 kbps speed & i can download files at an
    amazing speed of 7.24 kbps. Dont you think, you should just stop providing Broadband to customers & concentrate on Dail
    Up services??
    Your service is rubbish! I will be waiting for a better provider to come into market.

    bsnl dataone broadband — BILLING

    I have a dataone montly 250 rental plan. Recently i got a bill for internet usage of 6000 rs and previosuly of RS 2000 . I tried to check my usage on dataone website but the website sucks. Everytime I try to click on Check Account Usage the message appears Internet Explorer cannot open page. Went to BSNL office and they say check ur account usage online. on the bsnl website it mentions that download upload per month is 1 GB and additional will be charge 0.90 paise per MB . This means that my download uplaod for this month is around 50GB that is next to impossible. Because i just use internet for checking emails and using yahoo messenger for chat. Sometimes to check share prices online. Thats it. Many times in previous month the broadband connection use to get disconnected.

    I read some of the forums online while searching on google and found that many of other customers have also been charge around in the range of 2000 RS to 4000 RS for same 256 monthly Plan. I will like to look from this website that there may be other people who may be facing the same problem. But the service from BSNL is so ridiculous that people those who r busy in day to day life get frustated from such kind of services.

    From last two months I am frustated from BSNL service. When I go to the BSNL office they say check it online when I try to call the toll free number they dont give proper answer.

    BSNL DataOne Broadband — WRONG BILLING FOR 500C for the month of JAN 09

    Mine is a pakka BSNL cheating case. I am in 500c+, 1.5GB free, 0200AM-0800AM unlimited.
    For the month of Jan 2009, I received 3000/- bill, but BSNL Portal usage page shows, my USAGE excluding night unlimited is 1.46GB, and I never called to anyone.

    How come they serve me 3000/- bill when my usage limit is below 1.5GB. It should be minimum bill.
    Who can help me?

    It seems your PC is infected with lots of viruses, trojans, spywire, malwire etc due to surfing the porn sites which is not fare. Format your PC and surf like a gentleman, this will surely resolve your problem.

    B S N L Dataone - Broadband — Billing

    Sir(s),

    I had availed the Dataone Broadband under Plan 250 connection. My internet usage bills have been 13000/- for October'09 and Rs 2500/- for Nov'09. I had not at all used internet in the month of Oct'09, since my father's demise and had been in Chennai for 40days. I am living alone and my office hours are 8.00 AM to 8.30 PM. Kindly clarify with details.

Numerous complaints have been filed in this regard but no action has so far been taken to redress the issue. While i'm charged every month for my broadband connection.       Dear Sir,

      I had logged in to bangaloretelecom.com with my old user id and password. It prompted me to change my password. It took me through the password change portal. I tried changing the password but it said password change failed. Then I tried re-logging with my old password it throw me an error invalid username/password. I tried calling customer care but the they were not able to help me. All I want is to reset my password for user_id:Prateek_wap and send it to my email account registered with www.bangaloretelecom.com

      Please help me out.

      For last one month I m continuously trying to lodge my complaint online to bsnl cutomer care authorities at websites shown related to prepaid mobile service in Karnataka circle . My prepaid excel no. is [protected]. To this mobile no. of mine, I m daily getting floods of sms on cricket updates from 56505 without my request . They r virtually choking my mobile inbox space forcibly by non stop sms on cricket related updates daily. Itz so irritating deleting these unwanted feeds daily to keep my inbox free . Despite my online rquests to stop this nonsense updates, itz shamelessly continuing non stop daily. I dont know whom to call/contact/intimate to discontinue this stupidity. Each fortnight they are deducting Rs.15/- also without my consent. Thru this forum here I again request concerned BSNL people to discontinue deductions from my prepaid balance forthwith. --b.p.sahu, Retd. RBI Officer, Bangalore.

        Hi its been more than 2 weeks and still I am waiting for my new connection and later on I've to apply separately for broadband as they don't take application for phone and broadband connection at same time and for providing the connection itself they are taking so much of time and again I've to wait for broadband connection.i request you to please do the needful as soon as possible my registration number is [protected] and the phone number alloted to me is[protected]

          Dear sir,
          I have been using BSNL broadband internet connection from march'08 and since then my internet connection was working perfectly.After viewing BSNL's internet connection speed and service, many of my friends had switched to BSNL from other Internet Service Providers.
          But from the last 3~4 months i am facing internet diconnection problem and very often i am not able to connect to the internet.This has become a daily problem and very frustating for me as i am a working professional and generally surf on internet in the evening time only.I have had done many complaints to my local telephone exchange and Mr.SDO as well but everytime i get the response as " We will see"...can't get help of this sentence.

          With the downfall in communication through landline (telephone) calls and communication market taking over by private cellular service provider, these type of ignorance by BSNL personnel is never expected. If somebody is sincerely reading my complaint then please help me out and get this problem sorted out ASAP.My telephone number is[protected]

            Dear Sir,
            I am from Vadodara, Gujarat and i have complain against telephone nos[protected], 2634579. I would like to tell you that i have registered complain against the above telephone nos since last one month or more. They are registered in name of Hamax Pharmaceuticals, 703, GIDC Makarpura, Vadodara - 10. I am the partner of this company. Actually I have given complain in the BSNL Vadodara more than 1 month ago Then i have contact the supervisior incharge and he has informed us that there is cable fault so it will take some time to get corrected. Thenafter the supervisior has not attended our call and also was not available in person. So we have given the complain in writing for which i have a copy with the stamp of receipt from BSNL Vadodara Then they had informed us that the complain will be taken care of within 5 - 6 days. Then we waited for about 10 days but nothing was done and then we gave another letter mentioning the above matter and also threating them to go to the higher authority if the complain is not solved within 5 days but still the complain remains unsolved and every our one man goes there and spends 4 - 5 hours and gets no reply or receives message that due to cable fault many lines are not working in Makarpura GIDC area and it is not only your line that is not working. The reply itself suggests how careless the BSNL officials are regarding complain against non working telephone lines.
            I am facing lots of problems as only 1 out of our four lines of BSNL is working and that is having heavy impact on our turnover as we do business through Telephone.

            You are requested to look into the matter and do something so the matter is taken care of as soon as possibe

              we have taken bsnl broadband since 15 days .The bsnl official from gopalapatnam, visakhapatnam area came, and not installed any drivers and said there is problem in modem and never responded after calling sooo many times also. we are irritated by calling to the customer care.no one is responsible for customers.plz make the problem solveble

[protected] last nine months internet is not properly working but i hane been submitted a large numbsrs of complints to the relevant person's and g.m. udaipur on phone or on net but not listen my complints . every 2 or 3 days internet connection disconnected and working after open the phone, plz listen to my payer - rajendra rathore

                  I applied for IPTV at my Chandigarh residence through Akash agencies, who declared that IPTV service is being provided by BSNL. IPTV was installed at my residence after repeated followup with M/s Akash. After installation, I discovered that my either I can watch TV or surf internet. Akash personnel said BSNL will replace existing single port modem to multiport modem. This was confirmed by BSNL's public dealing personnel also. They reffered me to the Technical dept. for replacing the modem. When I met Technical services dept. of BSNL, to my surprise, they said they have nothing to do with M/s Akash (I purchased IPTV connection in the name of BSNL) and the modem will not be replaced and nothing can be done. On my repeated requests, they asked me to give an application regarding the same, which I did and nothing has happened till date. Today the situation is, whenever I switch ON my TV, the screen either reads BUSY or THE NETWORK IS BUSY. Despite paying for the facillity, I am not able to watch TV. I think BSNL should own the responsibility of harassing the customers, as M/s Akash are getting the connections in the name of BSNL. It is in the name of BSNL only that I opted for IPTV otherwise there are better private service providers for the same.

                  I am bsnl IPTV user in Jaipur and facing the same problem as others. The service is very poor and no body takes care to solve the problem.. Their atitude is not co-opertaive and helping. Now I want to disconnect my iptv coneection and refund of my security money.                     There is a major problem in BSNL kolkata network.The major concern for the same is Dumdum.No authority is bothered to check out the problems.There is a major problem of network fluctuation in
                    station area.There is also call drop problem.Being a Government Telecom company the issues should
                    be checked and the problem should be resolved at the earliest.There are some local numbers where the call rates are being deducted as STD and the numbers like 9154 are airtel numbers in West Bengal.
                    Even call conferencing service and call divert facility is not available for all subscribers from BSNL.
                    Where BSNL has launched 3G technology the same is expected that current mobile service should be
                    improved. And last but not the least the BSNL authorities should check the quality of resolutions provided by the customer care executives which is really a very dark side of the service.

                    It is very embrasing that BSNL Bhopal has no contact no. for NIC & EVDO bsnl data card related problems.By talking in customer care they given contact no. of person who authorized for that particular nic/ evdo card related problem not familliar about the card.Then that person send to arera telephone exchange in wll service section they again helpless. In all this process no one telling their name when asked for the same. I do not understand why they are not willing to interest disclosing their names despite they abide rules and regulation of bsnl corporation and sitting in responssible post of government organization.

                    One day I spoken my data card problem to a madam and another day same problem persist and contacted in same number to another person.Again and again same thing told by me that is very much embrassing for me who does not know the name of any official who are receiving the phone .

                    In customer portal of BSNL BHOPAL there is no contact number given in the website of bsnl nor higher official nominated to lookafter data card services that is why we cant able to approach the higher authority for complaining.

                    BSNL — Very poor service of NIC & EVDO data card

                    Very poor service observed from BSNL.NIC card is supposed to operate with 144 kbps as per regulations. But I m using it with the speed 02 kbps and low also. Facing a great difficulties while accessing internet with NIC card.submittd complain in BSNL , bhubaneswar, but getting a laughing response with free advise like to access at night time for better speed and like this. Staff behaviour says as they are instructed not to response with good bahaviour. Perhap this happens on top management to encourage the private network service. Because BSNL staff getting payment whether service is good or bad. Ex-before this complain there are 2407 complains pending on this company. Even New instruments are lying unused and will be destroyed with out use also. Care is not being taken intensionally.maintenance is nil and careless because of govt properties.

                    Requested to respect public sentiment as a public utility agency.

                    BSNL servicve is like above everywhere what I guess. company staffs are getting payment from govt head. and encouraging other counter parts to get payment from public by mutual 'BHAICHARAA'. Everybody is profitable except public who are BSNL customer by 'poorness'.

                    my suggestion is to increase their payments what they are getting from back door private party as 'GHUUSH" and to delete them from the list of INSAAN.
                    I am using pre-paid service and my Mb. no. is ([protected]) and my a/c credited by Rs. 149/- on 06/09/09 at 08:43 a.m. after that you have sent a massage that "my valid till 06/09/2009" (i.e. same day.)

                    I don't know that valid till 06/09/09 which are credited previous month.

                    In this connection, I would request you to please look into the matter in humanity ground and extend my valid date i.e. 06/10/2009.

This falls under the DUMDUM judriction of BSNL, and the connection is in Narayanpur, R-Gopalpur, rajarhat, kolkata. every now and then our phone line is dead and we keep getting monthly rental bill even when the conection is down. No matter how many times you complain they take their sweet time to resolve it.                     I reside in Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering Area (Near Sant Tukaramnagar Police Station) and severely suffering from giant problem of poor network connectivity. I had lodged complaints towards your side for several times via calling BSNL Customer Call Centre. All those executives intimated me about the successful reclamation of this problem. But the problem still persists. I am regularly facing this problem since I have purchased first card (year 2004 onwards). Also, the regular downloading speed for my 3G Data Card is at max of 25 Kbps (in actual which should be maximum 7.2 Mbps). Moreover, I received many calls from the mobile number [protected] asking for the current status of network connectivity problem. Moreover, I talked with Mr. Barde ([protected]), a BSNL Official of Chinchwad-Pune Cell, regarding this problem. According to him, he had visited our area and noticed the obstacles in our area. He said that the said complaint is forwarded from his side to the concerned higher official and the problem will be solved only after erecting one more tower in our area (which according to him will take around 6 months till 1st December 2012). But, still I am requesting you for a concrete solution for this problem.

                    BSNL internet is constantly giving trouble at Bobbili, Vizianagaram dist. When contacted the complaitnant BSNL
                    number, he gives another cell number asking the customer to contact another person. That cell number is not free to contact. Amount is to be paid to contact that cell number. That person does not respond . Only they receive the compalint and just keep silent. I wish to bring it to your notice to kindly see the grievene and solve the problem.

                    Secondly, my cell number [protected] amount is deducted suddenly saying that you have enjoyed monthly

                        I have charged my 02 nos. prepaid connection as per the message delivered i have charged it for 01 year and i have paid Rs. 390/- against recharge by the dealer on 09/09/2009 but only Rs. 73/- approx is only credited in my account. as per the scheme i should get Rs. 354 Talk time. i have logged my complain in Pune by dialing 24365 but they are asking me for transcation no. which is not given to me after my recharge.                               " Disconnection of Broad Band connection
                              Respected Sir,
                              I am a senior citizen and after retirement, I decided to opt out of the broad band connectivity through my land line no 24167478. In this context, I submitted my application for surrendering the broad band connection to the Commercial Officer, Jadavpur on the 19th March 2009. This was followed by representations dated the 04th June and 14th July all addressed to the same office for disconnecting the service and returning the monthly fixed broad brand charges for the months of April & May 2009 respectively. While submitting the last two representation, it was reported from the complaint receiving section that my request for the disconnection has been accedded and the same has been complied with. But inspite of this, the fixed broad band charges of Rs 250/ continue to figure in the bills. I have in good gesture paid the bills and also requested the autorities to refund the same. Howevwe, it is seen from the bill for the month of June, that the the position is yet to be rectfied in as much as the charge of Rs 250/; has yet again been billed. While I have time till the 29th July to pay the current bill, through this platform, I seek your esteemed opinion on whether I should pay the full bill or the amount less the broad band charges. Moreover, I would also like to know when i can expect refund of Rs 500/- paid by me for the months of April & May. Kindly mail your guidance well before the 29th July, as i still want to reatain the land line connectivity otherwise I might think in terms of surrendering the land line connectivity too.

                              In this context, i have, on the 29th July paid the full amount of the bill relating to the month of June. I would earnestly request for refund of the fixed broad band charges for the months April to June 07. Being a senior citizen, I am feeling the pinch of paying This extra amount.                                 I have been using bsnl cellone service(Orissa, Sambalpur) for the last four years bering numer [protected].I had changed to postpaid on August 28 2008.Again I changed to prepaid on 31st July 2009.I got a new prepaid blank sim by paying Rs.110.00.They activated the sim on 31st July 2009.But due to Bsnl technical fault neither i got any blance nor any validity.After that i contact with Bsnl Customer support and they adviced me to recharge my account and i do so.I recharged a sum of rupees 386.00 for one year validity and Rs.300 of magic voucher.After that i able to make outgoing call .But sorry to say that there would be no incoming call facility on my number.After that i am contacting with Customer support many times but nothing is happenning.Only they assured me sortly we will solve this matter.It has been five days i'm suffering.Please help me out in this matter.

                                    Please refer to last month request letter No. . Ex- Sigs/08 dated 08 March, 2010 one the above subject (Copy attached) and the revised bill have been issued from your office.

                                    It is seen in internet duplicate bill (Copy attached) for the month period of 2/1/2010 to 2/28/2010 that broadband amount Rs 750/- have been debited again instead of Rs. 600/-, whereas a sum of 20% DISCOUNT FOR GOVT. EMPLOYEE/RETIRED DEFENCE EMPLOYEE has been sanctioned and renewed by your office in the next month bill.

                                    This is a regular harassment to customer that every bill customer will request for concession and come in Telephone Bhavan to meet with concerned officers for getting benefit such types of concession.

                                    Do needful and credit Rs.150 with tax and issue me fresh telephone revised bill with an intimation to customers before payment date at the earliest.

                                    My BSNL Surat landline No[protected] has no Proper Ringtone since last few days. I have registered complaint at no 3599.But no one has turned up or rectified fault till date.Pl.look the matter as early as Possible.

                                    I have landline phone no [protected] fom last 11 years in valsad telecom district. I am also a user of Broad band, from last one month my phone has a problem. Phone is working, out going call can be done, broadband is also working. But incoming ring is not coming, Therfore We can not recieve any type of incoming calls. In last one month I have made a number of complain through automatic complain number 198, personaly I complain many time to navsari telecom department but till today no action is taken place.
                                    Plese do needfull at your earliest or advice me what I do.

                                      Hi

                                      I live in HSR Sector 2 Bangalore. The exchange goes down during power cut ( i.e Phone & broadband does not work during power cut). But it does not stop here. It does not work even after the power is back.

                                      I spoken to exchange people and they said that there is problem with Power backup system thats why it does not work during power cut but since there is no body in the exchange to start it back after the power is back thats why the exchange remains dead for whole night.

                                      Its happening every alternate day. AE promised me that it will be resolved in 2-3 days. BUT now the whole exchange is dead for 2 days. Since it went down on saturday afternoon and today is sunday. so nobody is there to take care of it.

                                      Thats really disgusting. I have 15 complaints during 1 month. but permanent resolution.

                                        I have brought two BSNL dosti sim cards on 24th July, 2009, and 4 hours after activation, I sent an service registration sms to the number 53733, in the required format, but recieved an invalid response, when I inquired the problem to the customer care service of the company the always came up with "INADEQUATE" and "UNSATISFACTORY" response. Till date I am not able to avail the stated service! The purchased numbers are [protected] & [protected]! I would be highly obliged if some necessary action is taken!
