I had booked a Sleeper Class ticket worth ₹480, which I cancelled about 13 days before the journey. As per IRCTC rules, the cancellation charge should be ₹120, so I should have received ₹360 as refund. However, I was refunded only ₹310. I booked a ₹1400 train ticket through Confirmtkt, but they charged me ₹2400 with a promise that if the ticket was not confirmed, they would refund 3× the amount. The ticket was not booked, and instead of refunding my full amount, they refunded only ₹1500 and gave the rest as a useless 7-day coupon. This is pure cheating — my actual money was not returned. They mislead customers with false promises, overcharge, and keep the balance...

I booked a train ticket via ConfirmTkt (Booking ID: TK[protected]H43). I tried cancelling the ticket at 9:00 AM, but the app gave repeated errors. I immediately contacted customer care and stayed in touch for over 3 hours. They kept giving false solutions and did not fix the issue.
Finally, at 12:00 PM, they told me the chart was prepared and I could not cancel the ticket.
This delay was entirely caused by ConfirmTkt support....

Am filing this complaint against ConfirmTkt for failing to refund the coupon value used during a failed IRCTC Tatkal ticket booking. Although the booking was cancelled due to all tickets being in waitlist status, and the base fare refund was processed, the coupon/discount amount used during booking was not refunded or reissued.

Issue:

I had used a discount coupon from ConfirmTkt while booking the ticket. After the waitlisted ticket was automatically cancelled, only the base fare was refunded. The value of the coupon used has not been returned or credited back to my account. Despite contacting support, there is no resolution.

1. Immediate refund or re-credit of the unused coupon value to my ConfirmTkt wallet or original payment method.

This mail is with reference to complain against the ConfirmTkt Train Ticketing app.
I had booked a train ticket from NDLS to Jammu Tawi on train 12425 ( date of journey 13th jan 2024 ) via ConfirmTkt.
since there was no seat available from Delhi to Jammu, I was given the option of changing seats on the same train at Ludhiana. while booking the ticket. refer attachment. ( Ludhiana to Jammu Tawi, no train change, only change seat)
However, I was issued an incorrect ticket from Ludhiana.
I was issued a ticket on a different train that had already departed on the previous day from Ludhiana. (13th Jan 2024)
This caused me a lot of inconvenience and mental trauma as a lone lady traveler. I was at the risk of being asked to deboard the train at Ludhiana Station at midnight.
I had to pay a penalty for this mistake made by ConfirmTkt. ( Rs2840/-).- paid to TTR of that train.

I contacted ConfirmTkt customer service team (14th Jan in the evening). Mr Saurabh from the customer service team had no solution or proper response to the difficulty I had to go through because of this error. Instead he himself recommended me file a complaint at the consumer court.

This situation has to be taken seriously at your top level and has to be compensated in a proper manner for all the trouble and trauma that I had to go through during this journey.

I booked a ticket with confirmtkt with PNR [protected] and was unable to travel. so decided to cancel but the confirmtkt app dint respond at all to cancel. i was unable to open the app and still not able to login.i called customer care who asked me to mail support which was useless and they said they cant refund the amount and dint resolve my query as i wasnt able to login and still not able to login. Confirm TKT are cheaters.FCS charges are preticked on the app .If you book a ticket for 8000 they charged 1587 as FCS charges.Immediately I called them to return they were not willing to return FCS.They are specialist looters...

I have cancelled a ticket of pnr.[protected] On 13 May 2023 23:12 and Journey start time was May 15 2023 .9:15
My ticket fare was 505 and i only got refund of 315 even though i was opted for Free cancellation.

Last time when i called to customer care i got the reason as chart was prepared but i am not convinced that chart will get prepared prior to 34 hrs before train journey starts

I had a problem with my cancellation of ticket. I called the support team which guided me to go to Google and put in my booking ID & email.
Tried with PNR, but was not successful. Called again and the team gave me the booking ID Number. Managed to cancel the ticket.
The problem is that I got a call from Online ticket cancellation asking me if the ticket was cancelled. I said yes, he then asked me, why then I call them. I told him that the call was made before I could cancel my ticket. I asked him why the booking ID was not mentioned on the ticket. He was rather rude and started a heated argument. I had cancelled my train ticket on 21st june which I booked using this IRCTC authorised app and till now I haven't received the refund (Rs.500) yet. On calling their customer care they say that they have initiated the refund but the amount is not credit to my bank account. I've sent them my bank account statement stating that I haven't received refund and as a reply they send me an ARN No asking me to trace the same with the bank. Upon approaching the bank, officials says that they dont have any provision for tracking the ARN No as it's not provided by the bank. There is no option provided for train late by more than 3 hour at his application when train is running late by 8 hr. The motive is passenger unable to book TDR then they can loot the money from customer. Because they are simply looting the customer money. The company is totally frauding in a open way.
