I also have experienced the same recently in the past week. I happily accepted the same offer from my banker (HSBC) and they have debited my CC account for abt Rs.6100 and now I am really in all suspicion about this whole thing. I would like to cancel my enrollment within the 14-day look-in period and request for reversing the debit.
I will close my fingers and wait to get thro' this painful ordeal of refund. Your thoughts / suggestions are welcome.

In my case it went upto hotel booking.But Heritage did not confirm to me.Time lapsed. When reminded on telephone they told me they have sent confirmation by email which I have not received.So a dispute has arisen.It remains without solution.Let us all forward this complaint to apprpriate authorities, say consumer council or RBI and see whether any solution is achievable.
same thing as Ravi Kishore faced also happening to me, I have already send an email to SBI Card feedback.[protected]@ge.com regarding cancellation of the same. Waiting for their feedback.
I took the program last year from SBI in association with Plat5. Though it was difficult to take decision over a single call but the sales guy was good enough to convince me & so i took the offer... I was reluctant and suspicious only positive thing associated was SBI, as have never heard about Plat5..
I couldn't get the bookings for holiday in one go.. But certainly enjoyed the vacation when i was through with the cumbersome procedure.. Heritage delayed the bookings & told me that they are trying to get booking in the best of the locations.. I thought they are making excuses but only after they gave me the confirmed booking i could realize the efforts being put in by them.. I was obviously concerned with my bookings which was provided at Avalon Resorts Mussorie..
Other offers like the points on the card were also given.. Didn't get time to avail their flight offer & watch is working Ok for me... Overall it was nice to get this offer from bank's side.. looking forward or other programs to come..

I would like to bring into everyone's notice in INDIA about the huge fraud doing by Heritage Plat 5 consultancy.
This company has tie-ups with many credit cards in india. example: SBI, ABN AMRO, HSBC etc.
I really dont understand on what basis these companies are tied up with a fraud company and cheating their own customers..
I am posting this solely for the purpose of providing warning to all credit card holders in INDIA.
Guys, please do not fall into the trap of SBI and other credit card privileged circle group offer.
A month back, SBI credit card team has called me and offered me "privileged circle group" under which I can get the following:
1) 3 days and 2 nights holiday plan anywhere in INDIA (includes accommodation in 4 star or 5 start hotels)
2) One way Flight charges are free
3) An american brand watch.
Usually whenever I get any call from anyone regarding the offers, I never responded with interest as I always believe that they can be fake and contain hidden charges etc...
But when I got this call from SBI, being a reputed organization in INDIA, I did not have a second thought and accepted to their offer.
Immediately they have debited 6067 rupees from my credit card.
So far everything is fine.
After 25 days, I have received the offer slips through courier.
When I opened that box, I was literally shocked to see the vouchers and watch.
1) The watch can cost around 300 rupees. It looks below average.
2) Flight charges:
I've been told, one way flight charges free for couple.
Now after I paid the money, they said Free for only one person and that too we need to choose one among 5 cities ( This is not at all relevant to what they have said earlier, initially they have told me that one way flight charges are free for COUPLE to any destination we chose to stay in our holiday period).
And, we need to give 3 different dates to them to book the flight ticket. Only base price is free and we need to pay the taxes... how well SBI along with heritage is making fools of their own customers...We all know that some times base price of flight charges can be one rupee to 10 rupees.. Its taxes which costs more and that we need to pay.
how can I go by flight and my wife by train or bus... this is the most ridiculous offer I have ever heard in my life.
3) Accommodation in star hotels:
I again need to provide 3 different dates in the next 6 months (excluding some months within that)
And again I need to pay the hotel taxes.
In addition to that above, I need to pay processing fee of Rs.250 to avail the 2 offers.
After I have received the voucher, I have duly filled them and sent it. They told me that they'll contact me within 15 days to intimate about my hotel confirmation.
For more than 30 days nothing happened. I dint get any call from them. Now I had to make more than 100 calls to them for requesting my status. The response from them is also the worst I've ever seen in my life from any customer care.
Till now I did not receive any confirmation from them about my holiday plan.
After I have paid more than 6000...what I have received was:... Huge frustration and a dirty watch which cost 100 rupees.
It seems that their only motive is to cheat the people.
same incident took place with me also but through HSBC
I will just wait for few more days and will surely proceed to take legal action.
Oh my god... After I have received this offer, I realized that i'm made as a BIG FOOL by SBI.
This is my request/suggestion/warning to all SBI and other credit card holders.. Do not fall into the trap.
I dont want any other fellow indian to go through the same frustration I've been facing with the [protected]@palt5.com

Dear All,
Today, I received an email from Heritage Group/Plat5 Consultancy in relation to my Ticket Bookings. I had already paid Rs. 6055 on 30th January, 2010 by debit of my credit card amount. At that time, I was promised to give a watch worth INR 4000/-, a two nights three days stay in some resorts which I choose from the list and to and fro air ticket to certain destination. At that time, I was not told any extra payments required to be done. However, when I got a reply for ticket booking Hyderabad-Delhi and Delhi-Hyderabad, I was told to email an authorization to Heritage Holidays to bill Rs 5, 640/- ( Rs 5, 640/- towards Airport Tax/Surcharges ) on my HSBC credit card.
I not only got a shock but almost fainted by looking at such a massive fraud.
I have replied them saying that I will not authorize them to debit my credit card account and not to proceed with the ticket booking. I am also contemplating to initiate legal actions against HSBC Bank, and Heritage Group.
I agree with the Complainant. The service is pathetic. The paltinum5 Premium offer of HSBC Bank Credit card offer is a fraudulent offer. They make so many tall promises when they call you up but when you get to know details, it will be too late as the options are very limited. In fact, regarding hotels and resorts, they say that it is 4 stars and 5 star but they are not. For example, recently, I stayed in a Resort called Logoa Azul in Goa on self expense which is one of the resorts selected under this programme of Premium offer. This resort is NOT a 4 star one. Rather, this is not a resort which deserves any star. Similarly, there are many conditions and terms and very stupid policies they have which makes the offer useless most of the time. Like, there are restrictions on utilization offer like some months depending on places are excluded during which you cannot utilize your voucher. Another funniest thing for example is you can fly Kolkata to Hyderabad and from Hyderabad to Kolkata, but you cannot fly Hyderabad to Kolkata and Kolkata to Hyderabad on which point I am still fighting with them.
The whole scheme looks like a scam orchestrated by HSBC Bank in connivance with some private company. I am soon lodging a complaint on this with HSBC Bank or its banking ombudsman and if no satisfactory reply is received, I am thinking to complain it to RBI. I am not sure and do not know if there will be anything positive, but I think we must try not to let this scam happen.
Another irritating aspect is their call center heritage. Most of the time, they do not receive the calls despite phone ringing, and ask in typical Hindi accent and in a very monotonous sound and frequently say 'Haan ji' in Hindi without anything caring about whether the person calling knows Hindi. While customer will be talking in English, they start immediately talking in Hindi, sometimes leaving the customers wondering what she is saying.
Another absolutely disgusting thing about them is that it looks they are shortage of men power or have been crowded with cheap labour in the markets who do not have enough energy to respond calls. Even when phones are ringing, no one picks up the phone and bothers to respond. It happens 9 out of 10 times and this will make a really frustrating experience to you.
We must protest against this corporate scam.

Please gather together and find out a way to esclate this scam at highest level.Please esclate it to news paper/press about this corporate scam if somebody is having the access to press.

I would like to inform the same to all customers as i too went to the same trap and got fooled after having paid 6010/- i just got a watch and forms for booking. However after sending my booking as directed i have recd no information from them till date. ie. 5 months have passed. Buyers Beware.
Hi Friends… I am Porush from Delhi and I would like to share my experience of availing the services from SBI cards and Plat5 Privilege circle program. Recently I heard of this fraud scam of Plat5 SBI but couldn’t believe that SBI can ever do this to their customers. On suggestion of one of my friends, I enrolled in privilege circle program. To be honest, till date I have not come across any sort of inconvenience, the services are as good as you like it, I mean I am a happy customer. This incident has at least strengthen my trust over SBI, I truly feel privileged to be a part of this program. Thanks SBI and Plat5 – I appreciate your initiative for launching such a wonderful offer in the market.
I also facing the same situation and the SBI have cheated me like any thing they have simply deducted Rs. 6100 from my account and simply send one message that your programme is invalid and further no correspondence after 100s of calls they simply told that please verify in the website and revise your programme. But there is no any information and happens to see your mail now i want to do some thing against the culprits and I want to get back my amount with interest kindly do something not to repeat such blody programes.

Shall I complaint to the police that no correspondence is involved in the transaction and by getting oral confirmation, they have deducted the money without any intimation
I want my money to return back.
