My name is Vandana sharma on 25-May- 2007 I got enrolled into an MBA program from ICFAI under enrollment number MBA2095481. My situation went bad and wanted to discontinue the program... on 20-May-2007 i wrote them stating that wont b able to continue this... but they denied stating that u'll have to continue this as I've signed the contract... what contract are we selling education... i am from a very poor family and cannot afford to continue further studies... but who understands... I paid Rs. 10000 as advance payment and for remaining fee I opted for EMI payment of fees of Rs. 4323/month for 18 months. I had one cheques at the time and the sales guy from ICFAI forced me that that particular day was the last date and told me that I can give one cheques for Rs 77,814, as a promise note that i will replace this cheque with 17 cheques for Rs. 4323/month within a month. hello thx to all for giving me such valuable information i wish to join in icfai for mba programme but after reading all ur comments i decided to not join why dont all ur victims have a chat n take action on dat institute bcoz dere r so many students who r going to join in dat all of they r nopt surfing the net right any way i wish good luck to all victims of icfai get rid of it
I also agree to this, Icfai is the money making institute rather than a true organisation who wants to spread knowledge. They keep such hectic schedules which is not suitable for doing such a vast course. They have no concerns regarding the pressure students are facing who are enrolled with their institute. Exams occur in every 3 month, in between they take 20 days time to provide results, after that they take 20 days to provide course material and study classes, that means students are left with merely one month of period to prepare for the exams. Even then they are such money makers that they sell even the model question papers available on their sites. They change syllabus and earn some extra money enforcing students to register for the exams which was not on the paper earlier. Where will the students like me go, who is struggling for money, good career and every thing. I dont know were and whom to go, can anybody help.
I knw dat ICFAI is a [censored] university & its a money making machine by black mailing d student .It is olny d univrsty which force to pay not quit the education pgm & give pain 2 evry 1 who enrolled in it.

People Beaware of this SCAM, , ICFAI is a big fraud. You end up paying the entire fees ans you have no option to quit even if you want to do so. They come up with Restructuring of their MBA programs and people who have cleared some groups would have to start from scratch and appear for those exams again and also pay for those exams. Its like you climb the rusted latter a little and ICFAI pulls you back to pavilon with their restructuring programmes which is only ment for them to earn money.. I wonder why dont these people start begging on streets for money instead of fooling poor students. ICFAI SUCKS

I had also applied for the MBA course but had to discontinue it on account of the news to the effect that the course was not apporved by appropriate body and it was of no value..I had also asked for clarification as regards to this to ICFAI, however didnt get any reply and now am being threatend dat dey would file a criminal complaint and of the like...However, I intend to lodge a complaint wid consumer forum...We could also give the material to media...
I request you all to unite together for the purpose...At present, I am a practising advocate in Gujarat High Court.
