Hi,
I would like to bring it to your kind attention that I took Country Club Life Membership in Hyderabad on May 13, 2004 with the membership # LM 7253.
One fine day I got a call for a meeting in Amrutha Castle, Hyderabad for some presentation by Country Vacations Team.
My wife and me went there and met Mr. Biju Mohan (Sales Department, Country Vacations) on March, 23, 2007.
Mr. Biju Mohan gave me an offer under MGM (Member Gets Member Scheme) to introduce my wife for purchasing a new VLM membership so that she would get a Plot in Bamboo Grove, Lonavala and I (Existing Member) would get a complimentary plot in the 7th Phase of Coconut Grove on Bangalore Tumkur Road as an introducer. I was also told that plot registration will happen in next three months time from the date of purchasing the membership.
I purchased the VLM Membership # DT21/0014 on March 23, 2007 in Hyderabad. (BLUE MEMBERSHIP UPGRADED TO RED WITH THE MEBERSHIP # DT25/129 IN GOA ON November 25, 2007).
I AM FOLLOWING UP WITH THE COUNTRY VACATIONS AND CUSTOMER CARE OFFICE, HYDERABAD ABOUT THE STATUS OF THE PLOTS REGISTRATION FOR BANGALORE AND LONAVALA BUT NO CLARITY TILL DATE.
MOST OF THE TIME I FELT INGNORED BY THE OFFICIALS… Mr. Rakesh, Mr. Ismail, Mr. Sarathi, Ms. Sumati & all.
I do call them on their cellphones earlier they were responding to my calls now my calls are being getting ignored.
Since, I live in Delhi and following up is not so easy, twice when I was in Hyderabad I visited both the offices in Himayatnagar and Amrutha Castle but no one had an answer.
I tried meeting Mr. Biju Mohan twice in Hyderabad office but he also avoided to meet up with me.
Please advice as what should I do and where to go???

Same happened with me..
I am Country Club Lifetime Member. It was told to me that land at Hyderabad has been alloted to me against the membership. But inspite of several phone calls & reminders to them No steps have been taken till date to Register the plot in my name.

After they have received the registration money, no interest was shown to speed up the procees & get the work done. Whenever I call up about the matter they say they will look into it..BUT WHEN !!!

Huge amount of my money is blocked in such the way. How do people like us take step?? Any Help !!
same here . Can anyone take initiatve to recover money.

Register a case against country club.otherwise they will ignore you always.they pick people, who afraid to go to police.their marketing policy is like that only.

    I. prashant Kumar recevied a call on 14/03/2009 from vinay a sales executive for to collect the gift at country club, on sunday 15/03/2009. i gone thier with my brother and for to collect with family, i regularly purchase at big bazbazaar i get paid on draw i think i gone to collect with my borther, but Sales executive EMOP ccode )118 Sai [protected], and venu manager Sumaltha [protected] given explations about the product details and not given us time to think and paid the amount Rs 20000/- by HSBC card, and given temporary receipt NO: 022076. has intial amount . they promise me give plot at jangoan / wanaprthy,

    i get attracted i will get plot of 300Sq yards, when you book on the spot only 116 members will get the plots they told, paid the amount by card, they not given time to think and contact friends and at time why because they already shunted for 3 hours continuesly.we get frusted with thier head ache shuntting and brain wash attitude, and offer's . with good culb membership of Master Life Memberhip for life time, and one WEEK vacations in the year, good party arrangements for 7 times in ayear for free. and with gift voucher of holiday NO 11626. get attracted me. paid by credit card balance by monday . ABN or HDFC OR SBI banks tie ups and balance by EMI's with out any interest for 36 0r 24 months .EMI's to credit card. but i am not able to catch point by not accepting the cheque when i was ready to give . Such a big company not accepting the cheque 's .they told me i get orginial receipt in one week and cards to home . till day no genunie receipt will come they told me i will get

    On monday i gone to OFFice but in Vain on monday manger not avaliable, and tuesday i seen complient by CCS and get enquired, and but they not give porper answer, on thrus day i agian gone to office SALES executive disapper and Satuday i gone no body is thier in office .

    I call up to manager Sumaltha but she not ready to clear my doubt, and about the news paper matters and again miss guiding me you pay the amount with in first of all then only we show the land site and papers of lands and after paying the amount no one can do any thing .

    this is very bocus company, i think any congress political party people is thier behind this company that why this type of openly frauad is going but police and political party or any govt people not taking any actions tilldate .

      I took Country Vacations membership on[protected]. I paid the full amount by Credit Card on same day. My membership no. is DTB00180 and the Receipt No. for the payment is 7160.
      When I took this membership I was told that I will be getting a 33x33 sq. ft. plot, 5% cash back on the amount paid and my permanent membership cards within 30-45 days.
      It has been more than two and half months now and I did not get anything, neither the plot nor the cash back and not even the permanent membership cards. Without the permanent cards, I can’t use any of the clubs or any of the facilities.
      I have tried to contact the customer care guys many times in this regard, but they don’t take me seriously. Whenever I call them up, they say that I will get my membership cards within 2-3 days, but that has never happened. When I ask them about the plot and the cash back, they don’t say anything and cut the call. I have wasted lot of money and time to call up the good for nothing customer care guys.
      When I took this membership, everybody was nice and good to me. Some manager named Hawama assisted me in filling up my forms and told me that her mobile no. is same for past 5 years as many customers contact her over mobile, so her number is never going to change. The next day itself she changed her no. Till date, I have never been able to talk to her. When I ask her colleagues who just sit next to her, they say they don’t know her no.


      I am really tired of calling and wasting my money in calling the customer care guys. More than that I feel that I have a big amount of money for nothing. Country Club/Country Vacations is responsible for mental agony that I am going through presently. I want my money back from them with suitable interest.

      When compared to all these facts said here, my very own tragedy seems a pre-historic. I am a oldest looser in this club, . I have been cheated for almost 2 years by now. They act the Finance company do, like take money and run away (keep shifting office without notice). Till now i am not able get hold of any managers or CRO responsible to attend my concern. All my hard earned money worth 1, 75 L is a waste. Is this shows my hight of stupidity and foolishness believing the Country vacation company. I have not used the facility for 2 years and they even have not given me the ID card. I am much depressed and thinking how to recover the many. Any body who have recovered the money from then please help me...

        Hi,

        We have purchased a holiday package with Country Club worth Rs 60, 000/- for five years, in November 2008, till date we have not received our membership cards and have not availed any of their facilities. CC executive do not respond on call, even after visiting their office several times there is no response. They have even cheated on the offers they have made during the deal.

        Please suggest how can we get our money back. We have already under gone lot of mental agony because of this and we just wanted to get our hard earn money back. Please suggest for further

          I would like to inform that my credit card has been used for country club member ship with out my notice and for up gradation also for 1, 35, 000.00 and 75, 000.00 this needs to be canceled, and i am giving call to custemer care to block my card from three mounts but i am getting the information that i have taken the request and it will be done like that they are telling but till nou it has not happened.

          please consider my request and cancel the country club tranzation and send me the final bill.

            sir im faiyazahmed frm chennai i join country club some one and half year but i could not get my membership card my membership no is dt23/163 as a tailor i cant afford that much of money i already sent my complaints to kausar jabeen abt this matter she always says that i ve sent to customer care stil i cant get any reply frm them i ve been paid 27000/ amount in cash and cheque .i dont want to act as member i want my money back or any vacant land around chennai that wil be better for me . please do the needful to me . thanking you, yours faiyaz ahmed.

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                I have taken membership of country club at Ahmedabad in last Jun-July 2008.At that time I was talking to Mr. Imran Yaqub who was employee of club sales team. The membership scheme which he told me was:
                1)member will be entitle for free stay of 2 nights and 3 days each year for next five years of any country club property by paying only tax amount of room tariff.
                2) Member has to pay only 35000/-for life time membership once only.
                3) Person can make emi of icici bank credit card of amount 1458/-on monthly basis up to next 24months in which break ups will be
                5 x 1458 = 7290 as down payment
                1 x 1458 = 1458 monthly emi for next 19 months.
                Total amounts come to 34992 which will be taken as full payment of membership.
                4) Member will be eligible for getting free magazine on monthly basis for life time from club.
                5) Member will get free family pass of every events at club site for life time.
                I Mr. Mittal Shah have taken this scheme granted and ready to apply for the membership on this scheme basis. But when I got membership letter from company it shows that your membership No. MILA-3704 and you are entitled for free holiday’s scheme only for next two years. When I found this fraud I went to Club's office at Ahmedabad C.G Road office, nobody was responding me properly. I wanted to see manager Mr. Paresh but peon and other staff says he is not in office’s can contact at our other office for any quiries.When I went there they show me my application forum which had hand written scheme on that by them later on after my signature and other formalities finished, "two years holidays scheme only."

                I was shocked how one can write a scheme by pen on the application forum after all formalities finished and if the H.O. is getting forum like this why should not they have re confirmed that thing with me???
                After a very hard work I finally got connected with manager Mr. Paresh yesterday evening on phone line but it was also very disappointed talking with him.
                According him his employee Mr. Imran Yaqub has left the company and company is not liable for anything in this matter. If you wanted only five years holiday scheme you will not be eligible, so if you wish you submit your membership and will pay your full amount back by D.D. in next one month time.

                Dear Sir I need your serious assistance in this matter.how can I get compensation for fraud happened with me and may be many more like my self. I am simply middle class person who wished to have membership of a good club on affordable prises, But I thick Country club is not required people like us that is why they are responding in this very important matter in such a way that we have done a mistake by choosing them as our happiness’ partner!!

                  I have been cheated by CCIL. They have offerd me 30x40 plots in tumkur and i got lured. Now i got the allotment but registration has not yet happened. I wanted to take my money back. They are always keeping me in a dark.I will be greatful if somone could help me to pursue this.

                    On May 9 two marketing agents, Vikram and Jesudas George, came to my apartment and gave a presentation of their membership offer. The offer was for membership plus the opportunity to invenst in land. The total cost of this package was 1 lakh 45 thousand. I told them I will have to think it over and discuss with family before making a decision. They said that is not a problem. Then came the beginning of my nightmare. They said that in order to block some plots for me they will have to create a temporary account for me. For this to happen they asked me to sign an application form and two receipts. They assured me that the receipts are to keep the application package ready in case I am interested in the membership. Then they asked for my credit card information. They said the credit card is needed for verification (here I assumed that they wanted to verify that I can pay the fees). They took information for two credit cards since he said he is not sure if Amex is accepted.

                    Then on May 12 Vikram called me to see if I am interested. I told him I am not interested. Then on May 19 when I checked my credit card account online there was a 1 lakh charge on one card and a 45 thousand charge on another. I then went to the Country club offices in Indranagar. After being directed from one office to another, I met a person by name Prabhu Venugopal. He said he was a team lead or something. He first pointed out that I made the mistake of giving my credit card information to his marketing agents. I accepted that this was a fault of mine to trust their marketing agents. Then he also pointed out that the forms I signed say that the money is non-refundable. Again I apologised for trusting the agents. Then I explained to him that they told me that they will not process my application unless I say yes. He said that this was common practice, which startled me a bit. He then started to give me a very convincing assurance that the money is mine and nobody has any right to it. He said they will return the money but he needs about 10 days time. After some more arguing I agreed to stay in touch with him and he promised to get the money back.

                    After that I am seldom able to reach him. When I try to call him on the number he gave he does not pick up. After 6 or 7 continuous tries somebody picks up and says he is in a meeting. I did manage to talk to him a couple of times and when I (angrily) enquired about the status he kept postponing by saying that the manager who has to sign the papers is not in town. I sent a half dozen emails none of which got responses. I sent a few more emails to the customer service email and again no responses. Finally one person recently told me with certainty that I will not get the money back unless somebody is willing to pay the full amount (1.45 lakhs). Only in this case they will transfer my membership and give me my money. After which I gave up and asked him if he can send me whatever is needed for the membership and the plots. He then told me that each plot will cost 15, 000 (for registration). Four such plots were promised to me when the agents visited me. And there is also a 3000 rupees yearly admistrative fees for membership although I bought a lifetime membership. This is where I am right now. I received one letter from them with a temporary card which has expired. I have not got any permanent membership card or details about the plots. When I last spoke to Prabhu he said he will get back in two days. This was a few months ago.

                    I called their office today again. A lady spoke and assured me that by today evening she will confirm my membership card status and plot allocation. It is 8:30 PM and my frustration has ended in this public cry for help.

                      hi,
                      i n my husband got a call from these Highland Holiday Homes PVT. Ltd (BAJAJ Group), that u won a gift. we went to this AJ International Hotel (Shivaji Nagar, Bangalore). Over there a guy named Shiekh was present, he told us that i[censored] take our H3 membership card u can use the facilities of Country Club once in a week free, but you have to pay for the Food n Drinks over there. We took the membership. When we contacted Country Club, over there they told us that only enterance is free n for the facilities we have to pay them.

                      These Highland Holiday Homes- BAJAJ Group is really a big fraud company. Now we want our money back, n they are not returning it...

                      I am Kalyana Chakravarthy who utilized the services of the company.
                      These people are big rouges.
                      I booked for 2 nights in 2 rooms in Highland holiday home in Tirupati.
                      They alloted only one room and they are not refunding the other.
                      Also we checked out without finishing even one day.
                      They are refusing to compensate that as well.
                      I am trying hard to get get my money back. They took the money through my debit card.They claim that once we are members we cannot cancel.
                      Requesting your valuable suggestions and advice on this.

                      We also subscribed to the scheme couple of months ago, and have been trying to get out of it within 2-3 weeks since then.
                      Their promises of "good hotel", "refunds for non-utilized period" are all false. They claim to be associated with Bajaj group, but Bajaj group is disowned them (http://www.bajajauto.com/1024/press/feb_notice2007.asp).
                      I wonder if the government can do something if it knows the open fraud.

                      i am also a victim of this fraud company. i have taken membership by spending Rs. 30, 000 two years ago. now when i want to cancel the membership they simply deny and say no refund will be given.
                      need to find a way out and get the money back.
                      they say the i need to find out a party to sell my holidays and get the refund. (who would be intrested to buy such a bad deal).
                      all promise that they made were verbal and nothing has been mentioned on the papers that they given so please guide on the ways to recover my money.
                      This is completely fraud company & the people working with them do not know customer relationship. I have paid Rs 40000/- package, which i gifted to my wife so we can plan our trip, & still i have not used it as this package is complete . They have messed with the wrong person this time, i want my refund.

We had also invested Rs. 45000- in Highland Homes and were promised that if we dont want to utilise the holidays then it will be bought by them and also we were told that we will be getting back our entire principal amount at the end of the period. Now when we tried to contact them they are saying that we wont get any money back and also that we have to find customers for the yearly 10 days if we want our money. Unfortunately we got dazed by their method of approach and their false claim that they are attached to Bajaj group. We want to get refund of our money. They promised during their promotional time to give us club membership, untilised days would be refunded but later on none of the facilities were granted to us, Even the holiday home booked by them in Dalhousie and Dharamsala claiming to be 3-star but was not a 3-star hotel and the Pricing was high for us compared to what was given to others who ooked into the hotel during the season. we want the refund of the money of subscription.                       Somehow I also felt in the trap of this but managed to get my entire amount back by disputing the transaction on my credit card. I took the national + international for 5 years for Rs 41, 000/-. But after doing the transaction, just searched on the internet and came to know the trick and fraud. Highland Holidays homes is a big fraud, they also gave me gift as joining gift, I approached them thay I want to cancel the membership but they refused so I disputed the transaction and after that they reliased that they have not received the payment and started calling me about that they have not received the payment and will deactivate the membership If they dont receive the payment, so I told them please go ahead. and just for goodwill i thought of returning the gift as i was not going to use their membership and visited there Khar office in Mumbai to return the gift so they started that cancellation charges are 25%you should have approached us before disputing the transaction.
                      We had a call from Bajaj holiday homes and were asked 3 questions.We were asked to come to Andheri wher we were literally forced to take the package.We invested 10000Rs which if wedidnt utilise would be converted into National saving certificate. The time limit has already passed awy in 2008.We tried in vain to call on all the contact numbers they had mentioned.We have with us all the documents including the National saving certificate but donot know where to go for justice.We want our money back.Kindly suggest what action should we take.

                      I am surprised to see a positive response by Preeti. I think, as we have already lost money, the only option available is to utilise the services and derive some returns from it. If Preeti has honestly mentioned about thier good services, I would like to request her to provide further details regarding how she ensureed the booking is done correctly, additional charges that are applicable for using facilities ( safary, campfire, pool) at affiliated property etc to avoid any more surprises. Has anybody anybody successfully rented from your package and received money out of it.

                      Till now my experience has been bad. When I booked this package last year I was told clearly that even if you don't avail any holidays you just need to inform them that you are not going to and that they will rent out those and return you the amount. Actually this was the USP which made me to go for it. However recently when I called them up in the same regard they came up with the excuse that you need to avail the vacations at least once before they can rent out your holidays.

                      Then I tried to avail it however as I can see from this mail thread I got the same response. No availability.

                      I think these people are pretty prepared with the excuses and hidden clauses.

                      We have so many people reporting the fraud. Can we actually do something about it?

                      I have been trying to book a holiday for the last 3 years and every time they tell me there no rooms!!!...
                      MY member ship in the HIghland holdays OSMB-767 H-12 Gold in 2001 .and promised a return of 7200/- of rentel income from the 3rd year if I Let it for rent yearly 2 days and you will be gettig it for life time it is the promise of one person Venkatesh and JJ is the executive persons of that group who called me and my wife at the Manipal centre Bangalore 560 001 in the 2001 and collected the money of 25000/-
                      at night 10.30 in my house at Vidyaranyapuras giving a promise that this is the last day for becoming a member you will be getting lot of benifits - latter I found all the promises are bogus and fraud .then I utilised 2 days holiday in Tirupathi by paying 730/- and send my letter for refund of rental income of 7200/as promised earlier no replay received then on 29.05.06 and 09.07.08 in this letter I have stated if no replay is received I will take this matter to the consumer court . till to day they have not bothered to replay . This comapay seems to be a big fraud and having some links with gangster and roughs they have not fit to be born for a human . all the victims are collectivelly lodging a police complaint I will also be one amung with them or on any day we all the victims go the Bangalore office a stage a Protest for refund of amount .
                      I have membership for 2 years, again from the same promotional event in Raheja Arcade, and their service is pretty bad, i have been trying to book a resort and it never happened, recently i called to book them 3 weeks prior to my trip they asked me call just a week before and when i did they are not taking my booking, instead they are giving me more and more options even if i had finalised on a particular resort, and still i haven't got ne reply on the status of my booking. where i'm planning to go on trip tom.(Ne way i have taken care of the stay myself) . but this is really getting too much and we got to do something about it..

                      Please let me know if you have any idea how to get our money back, and we should also think of some way in highlighting this is others. Who can say their money atleast.

                      We have to go to the consumer court to get our money legally, but i dont have enough proofs for it.

                      I too am a member of HHH, and I took this membership at AJ international hotel, Bangalore. Some person named Sheikh had sold me this plan.
                      At the time of taking the plan, they promised things like complimentary breakfast, and membership of country club for usage of facilities etc.
                      Nothing is true. When I called Country club, they said that only enterance is free, but for other facilities we have to pay.

                      Bajaj group is such a big business group of India, but still these people are making money in a dirty way. This is pathetic. Think about people who are parting with their hard earned money.
                      We also took a plan from HHH last year from AJ international hotel Bangalore.
                      Their promises were...
                      Food and accomodation would be free at all the resorts/hotels (own and affiliated) for 5 years.
                      After the first year, we can rent out our holidays. All we have to do is to give them a written
                      statement. They will take care of all other stuffs. Per day rental would be 1500 INR.
                      Free gift voucher worth Rs. 5000 by which we can purchase anything from some 50 retail outlets in Bangalore.
                      The utility charges at all their own resorts and other affiliated resorts would be max of Rs. 500.
                      All these are fake. A guy Imran and his manager Sahil explained all these things to us. Till the end of the session, they wont give the documents which we have to sign. Just before we agree to purchase, they bring the documents and get sign on it.
                      When we came to know all these are fake, we contacted the customer care at Manipal centers. I have never seen such ladies in my life who tell lies looking at our face.
                      I think we can give all can lodge a complaint against them to get the money back.

                      I am also a member of highland homes. . i become member last year. as we like to go for holidays very often. we realy feel its very good holiday package & good quality hotel & resorts. recently i had been to there lonavala resort. its realy wonderful... me & my family enjoyed alot.. its a realy homely atmosphere & we didn't feel that we are in any resorts or hotel.. the food quality & the rooms were fantistic with swiming pool. & i just paid the very nominal amount for that. while coming back we had enquired in 1 hotel, same kind of rooms for .. the tarriff 2500/- (without swimming pool).
                      i would realy suggest someone to take the membership & enjoy quality holiday in very budget money.

                      I am also 1 of the member of this company, i have invested Rs. 64500/- at long back. i have just paid this money as investement. as the consultent had told me that if i dont go on holiday i can RENT my holidays & i will be getting Rs. 2500/- per day. & my membership is of 10 day. so i should get around Rs. 25000/- per year. but "ITS TRUE THAT ITS A CHEAT COMPANY" when i had taken the membership there office was in bandra but when i visited there after few years they were not there & when i found there telephone nos from some source they said that they have sent letter to all member about change of address. at that time i was confused WHO AM I???? am i not a member????? when i got the address of there office in KHAR i was happy that my money is safe... but then i been to there office for enquiry regarding my membership & rent money. they have kept lots of girl to cool down clients... like us.. they ask me to sit at the reception for more then 30 min. and after going in cabin there was 1 small girl sitting to attend me. around 19 years old. and she was not knowing any thing about the membership... when i asked her about RENT of my holidays she directly denied & said "THE COMPANY DOSE NOT HELP YOU TO RENT YOUR HOLIDAY, AND YOU HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE TO RENT YOUR HOLIDAYS" as i have already mentioned that i just paid this amount as an investement. but after listening to her i was completly shocked... then i started shouting as i was angry then i thought she is not knowing about membership, so i request her that i want to meet your Sr. Manager or Head of Mumbai Branch.. then she directly said they are not available at this moment. i am the only person who can help you here.. & then after creating some scene... some one else came in cabin some huge ugly girl with lots of make up & attitude and she said she is the client service manager named shaziya, when i was trying to explain her my problem she was like ignoring me & was busy in playing with her hairs. i was realy feeling so embarrass at that moment. and after explaining her all the problem again. she also gave me the same answer like that small girl gave me. i asked her is there any one above you in this branch. she directly said "NO" and same answer what like previouse that she is the only person who can help me in this situtation... then i was angry with there behaiver & i was not in my control, finally i told her that i will be going to police to get my money back. & i was realy shocked with her answer she started shouted & said "HEY JA TUJHE JO BHI KARNA HAI KAR, WE DONT CARE, MUJHE PATA HAI TUM JAISO SE KAISE BAAT KARNI HAI" with her talk it was not diffucult for me to know that she stays in some slum area. & she is not from a good family background. I got the impression of the company by its so called Mumbai Client service Manager "SHAZIYA" and after that i have lost the hope of getting my money back from this cheat company. let me know if any group or any one can help me to get this money back...

After enroling i went to the same spot the very next day and spoke to all the concerned people at mumbai as well as bangalore but they refused. When i confirmed about the facilities from the back office they flatly refused. i contacted the marketing people and they even refused entertain. They even promised that their company is a listed co at BSE, which a total lie. First they promised that i can sell my holidays through them and they will pay between[protected] rupees per day. We have also gone through same process like asking three questions then declaring as winner and asked us to visit their office along with my Husband and explained about their packages for 1 hour by some trained MBA students. Then we took the membership for 5 years and they have asked us to pay through credit cards then convert the same amount into EMIs we will refund the interest charged by the bank .

                      We did the same and produced the Credit card statements after converting the so called amount to EMIs to this fraud company. Then the really story get begun. They started arguing to not to refund the interest. We fought for 3-4 months; they agreed to refund only 7% of the total amount. As we don’t have any option blindly agreed with them and took the cheque.

                      We are trying to cancel the membership but as per their dirty terms & conditions it’s not been cancelled. Hence, planning to approach an advocate.

                      So please beware of this fraud company.

I had to travel to Lonavala and Mahabaleshwar on 28th may and 1st june respectively, I called them and asked to do the bookings for the same. The reply i received was all the bookings are full.

                      The sales rep told me that over and above the membership charges I had to pay some utitity charges to which I asked her "What if I do not use the utilities? Will I still have to pay the charges?" she said no... Later When I tried booking the resort I was informed that thos were manditory charges. So I asked what are the Utility charges... she informed me that for Domestic its Rs 500 per day for 4 persons in thier own resorts and Rs. 650 in affiliated resorts... again this proved to be false information as the lonavala resort which is their own... I was informed that I had to pay Rs 1000 as utilty charges per day and in Mahabaleshwar I had o pay Rs 3000 per day.Hence I did not utlise their services.


                      I am trying to cancel the membership but as per their dirty terms & conditions it’s not been cancelled. Guys why dont we come together and file a case againt Highland Holidays in the Consumer court.

                      I too had a bad experience when I went with my family too Lonavala which was very first experience. Only 1 small room with 2 beds & i Washroom was alloted when i visited with my family of four.Whatever was explained to us during Seminar was the other side to convince to become Members. Really We are repenting & crush our that bad moment which inspired to become Member.Even three time booking was refused for some or other reason. If at all they are courteous they should refund the money.

                        I have paid a sum of Rs.125000/- three months back for the country club membership for which they promised me four sites...Till date i have received only one and that too after many follow ups...and i am still wiating for the remaining allotments letters...the executive (Mr.Balraj ) never picks up the call and whenver he does pick up gives all false promises...and his other colleagues supports the same...
                        As on date i was promised that the executive will come to the office with the allotment letter but to no avail...and neither he is responding on his phone calls...I have already started informing my colleagues not to go for country club membership as the executive like balraj who talks very sweetly at the time of collecting the money shows his true color after everything is being paid...Such executives should be sacked from the organisation which spoils the name of the company as well...People who read this i recommend never togo in for country club membership...

                          Discrepancy in commitments!

                          Complaint Rating:
                          It was committed on taking the membership Mr. Super Cool for INR 1, 32, 000.00 in Chennai India, that this membership is valid across all country clubs and their affiliated clubs across India. All facilities can be used 'Free of any costs' other than food and accommodation and plot of land which was said to be in Bangalore is blocked under my name.

                          Now after nearly 2 months of getting the membership I have still not got the allotment letter for the plot. And they people in Chennai is sending me only Mr Cool idneticy care instead of Mr. Super cool memrbership and the person who actually made me as memeber on Mr. Govardhan from Guindy Chennai office is avoiding talking to me through phone. So far i have not received my land allotment letter for my land at bangalore. I do not understand the reason behind it. He has appraoched several times to me in person and on phone for getting my membership but at present he is behaving slightly opposite. I request the concerned appropriate authorities to look into this matter immediately or else I will be forced to file a PIL in the Chennai high court, if i do not receive proper reply through letter for the inconveninece caused to me to this regard and the amount of mnetal tension i got through this deal. The people at guindy Chennai office is not all responding to my complains over phone and I feel cheated.

                            1. 5 years of vacation with option to take it as per my choice instead of 5 years back to back
                            2. No annual fees of 1800 - Only service tax.

                            On the first instance only 5 EMI's were deducted without my consent and notification. None of the above mentioned promises were fulfilled. The marketing department is not responding and gets rude.

                            The consumer care department says neither of these promises can be fulfilled nor the money can be refunded. On top of this they are asking for an additional 5000 which was given as discount.

                            Further more, the base reason to take the membership was the Sarjapur and Mumbai club which are not part of the scheme. And latest i have learnt is that the membership is limited to bangalore clubs only. If i access any of their facilities out side bangalore i have pay-up like a normal customer.

                            Not sure how to get my money back as there is no proof as of now on what they promised.

                            Any help here would be great.

                            Good news for all those cheated by country club. We 3 friends, all have won the case in consumer court and also have got our money back.

                            I also had taken their membership and was fooled by their promises. But finally i went to the consumer court.The whole process took 2 month(abt 4 visits) . Believe u me people, the process is very simple. The judges and the staff all are very helpfull. Take my advice and file the case, I did it in bangalore. Also lotsa of people have got their money back in out of court settelement. But the best part is that i got my money back with interst and Rs5000/- as fine.

                            The judge ordered them to pay the fine in my case. In my friends case before the final hearing they did an out of court settlement.

                            If any one has any questions regarding this feel free to ask.
                            Country club never kept their promises and they keep on calling for Administrative service charges. I wonder in the past also they haven't done any service and claim that i need to pay INR[protected] as administrative charges. I would like to know how to cancel the membership and get back my money .

                              I was approached by a country club executive about the new year offers where in they offer 2000+ sq ft land wit life time membership of their club and he promised me following :

                              4. I am yet to receive any details on the features offered for the membership.

A man drops in after 2 months and gives me an allotment letter for Phase VII (I was show the pahse IV layout and asked to choose my desired site at the time of taking membership and I had selected 2) and asks for 35000/- cheque for registration and maintenance, They also need My left thumb impression and photgraph. I tell him that I want to come personally for registration they say that all the customers are doing thru GPA and they cannot take me for registration. I refuse to pay and call up the executive who sold the membership he tells me that Phase VII is closer to Bangalore and Phase IV is away from the highway and all silly reasons and he talks rudely and disconnects the phone, since then he has not been responding to my call. I insisted on seeing the layout at my own cost , They refuse to show any layout whatsoever they promise.

                              When I request them for cancell the membership they say its not possible.

                              I request this forum members to help me get my money back. Please guide me how to approach the consumer forum in this case.

                                I am country club member since 7 years, i bought a plot in country kuteer Hyderabad 3 years ago and i got mt plot registered also within a month. and i am very happy with their services and i also bought a plot a mumbai kolad project also.                                 hi all the members...this is vivek kumar singh working as general manager in some company...as u know very well in the hospitality industry we dont have to expect 100% satisfaction but one is this they are maintaining 83% members satisfaction. i m very satisfied with country club membership.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam,

                                  I would like to bring to your attention few facts about my membership with Country Club.

                                  Despite my hesitation to purchase being aware that I will not be using any facilities of the club, I was sold a membership (BLGCP7923) on a trial basis few years back . I was then assured that I could easily get a refund if I wished to discontinue the membership for not having been able to use it.

                                  Kindly take this as my final resort for solutions towards my loses incurred in getting into any kind of relationship with Country Club.
                                  I signed my membership in 2007 July/Aug sometime. I was promised a great service, facilities, benefits and regular updates.
                                  I paid using my Credit Card-ICICI.
                                  Timeliness is one thing I was very particular about while signing up and stated clearly that do not commit any time if it is even difficult, give me last time and deliver and I am happy.
                                  I was promised lots of things with 7 to 10 days deadline.
                                  I received my Card/s after 20 days and since then NOTHING AT ALL.
                                  I was leaving for Germany in Sep’07 and hence after 10 times request an executive was sent from Amrutha Estates to collect my Rs. 10,000 cheque so that I can atleast get my piece of land, which again was promised to be done within 7 days and the original Bill/receipt within 2 days.
                                  I kept calling the executive/Customer Care/Amrutha Estates, (AE-Vidya[protected], AE-Devendra-[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], CClub-[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], CC-Ishak-[protected], CC-Suresh-[protected], CC-Executive-Karthik-[protected]-[protected])everybody from Germany but was always promised it would be done within next 2 days.
                                  I was back in December ’07 and again contacted all and the same promises but no action.
                                  Finaly one day on continues calls/requests I was informed by Priya/Vasukhi at Amrutha Estates that my cheque had bounced for which I told them to send the bounced cheque back and I would hand over the new cheque immediately. I would need to check with my Bank as to why the bounce as Rs.10,000 not being in my account is not possible. There anyways is never a call from CC/AE for anything and on my calls, 6 times an appointment was made that the executive would meet me and never that happened and finally Vasukhi again tells me that she has still not got the bounced cheque so could not send the executive and absolutely no coutisy/responsibility to call me up to inform that. Then she informed within 2 days she would collect the cheze and fix time again. I have been calling since then but no response. Now it is again almost 45 days and still no action.
                                  Now, on front of my membership I just have a card that’s all, I do not know what all I am entitled to towards this membership which I can avail, events, news, offers, etc. Was planning to come to my Club for Christmas/New Year with my wife I kep calling all to give me some details in writing so that accordingly I can sit with my wife and finalize but no details at all.
                                  There are lots more, on calling up the executive they say what Country Club we do not work there. Every 15 days the same mobile numbers says out of service, the Executives/CC people all talk VERY VERY Rudely, etc etc etc, the list of my Mental/Economical Distress caused by Country club can go on and on.
                                  Respected Sir?madam, kindly think if the same would have happened with you at some place what would have been your situation/Action/Steps and revert.
                                  Seriously telling, I have lost all my Trust and liking of the big name - Country Club.
                                  I as gentleman look forward for a gentleman’s damage control/action.
                                  Will all Respect and expectations.

                                  I am also being cheated in similar way by Country Club.
                                  I have paid 3, 50, 000 towards a lifetime membership and a plot at Kolad and a free trip to Dubai for two.
                                  Nothing has happened yet. Please let me know how to take action on these people.

                                  We are also sufferer like you. We are their life time International membership, our no.is CGP-101-V & became member on[protected] paying full amt.Rs.175000.00

                                  Also, read that some people got refund of their money by filing suit against them in 3 months. One member wants to file suit & we have joined, if it will not happen, we will do on our own.

                                  I also got cheated by country. Firstly i had paid 1, 25, 000 Rs, towards membership. At the time of member ship Country club marketing folks offered so many things including a land ( 3 plots). My bad luck i had paid 35, 000 6 months back to one executive from Amrutha estate who is in partnership with country club for the real estate means land developers. Knowing the fraud things and cheatings from country club I had called country club customer case, Amrutha estate customer care before I paid 35, 000 cheque. Cheque was issued from my icici bank towards "Amrutha estates". Recently when I called country club and Amrutha estate folks to check the status of land registration, they are telling that they never got the money/cheque credited to their account. I checked with ICICI bank and took the copy of the cheque, money is credited to Amrutha Estates – City Union Bank, Benashankari. But now Amrutha estate folks are telling that it is not their account and someone would have cheated me. So finally I lost 1.25 Lakh + 35, 000 K rupees in total. Anybody can suggest what should I do now to get my money. These type of companies should be banned and govt should take legal actions against them. Please spread this message to as many people as you can. I wrote many mails to country club to check this issue, but no responses from anybody.. I still cannot believe that I got cheated by some ordinary marketing folks from country club and Amrutha estates twice

                                    Contry club is the Six Sigma level cheeter's club in India. Immidiate action should have to be taken against it.

                                    If I would have know about the complaintsboard.com 3 months earlier I would'nt be in the trash of country club.

                                    they call ppl in lots of 10-12 with the help of a forms filled by agents at bigbazaar and other shopping malls, then they put them in a noisy room to blunt logical thinking of a person. also people see eachother getting fooled off and falls prey.

                                      It was committed on taking the membership Mr. Cool for INR 1,15,000.00 in Bangalore India, that this membership is valid across all country clubs and their affiliated clubs across India. All facilities can be used 'Free of any costs' other than food and accommodation. And plot of land which was said to be 'C9, Country Grove Phase XIV near Tumkur is blocked under my name then they told me they will be alloting land in Penukonda 2 sites. But so far they have not given me the allotment letter. And now they are demanding annual Maintanance charges of Rs.3000 yearly per site.

                                      Now the marketing people who got in touch with me to sell the product are not traceable.

                                      All the complimentary offers given at the time of selling the product like Airway tickets to Goa from Bangalore, Bhandipur Visit etc are tottaly false and cheating.

                                      On calling the customer care there is no proper response.

                                      Shrinidhi, Go for consumer court. I have gone through your pains and understand your concerns very well. Today I have a court order in my favour, asking country club to pay my money back with anual interest of 9% within next 4 weeks time. Consumer court does it quite fast too...It took only 2 months(in Bangalore ) time for me to get to this stage! Now I am waiting for my money after 3 painful years!

                                      @Regards to the Complains to the Executives: All the complains that have come are from India, we have almost 25, 000 agents working and yes they tend to give fake promises to generate sales. Even Multinational Companies like: Reliance, Citi Bank, Vodaphone, Airtel etc have customer complaints and issues, once the Application is signed and submitted to the Customer care dept, they receive what package they have enrolled with. We have many types of Membership in India and it varies from state to state...
                                      @Regards to the complains to the Holidays Packages: The booking has to be done prior to 30 days advance. We have one dept for booking holidays and if everyone wants to go on holidays next week and inform us this week... Do u think this would be possible? not at all... 30 days prior booking...confirmed accommodation...
                                      @Regards to the complains to the Plot package: The Plot would be registered only when we receive the full payment of the membership and plot registration amount; hence if a member has taken instalment option for 2 years ... it is not possible to register the plot on his name until the payment is through.
                                      @Regards to the Payment: We have several payment options, even if you have not paid your full membership fee, you can utilize our Health Clubs, food outlets...etc But once you are done with your payment, you will be able to avail your holidays, plot would be registered in your name etc. It’s a life time membership with one payment term, to be easy on the payment terms we offer Easy Instalments Plans but this doesn’t mean that you can be full fledged Member with paying an instalment of AED 6250 when the package is for Aed 35, 000.
                                      I am also one of the agrieved persons who has been cheated by Country Club - they promised cash back of 5% against the payment made through credit card and also a 19" LCD TV - but there is no trace of that and the executives concerned do not even lift the phone . I am now planning to take them to the consumer court for recovering my money as they mislead people into buying expensive memberships when the facilites shown in the catelogues and brochures are also not there at the clubs .
                                      i m also facing same problem ... i had purchased country club member ship in june 2009...
                                      n given 2 lakhs

                                      i tried 3-4 times for booking ...but it was not avaliable ...

                                      it is simply useless ...

                                      i need my money back from them ...
