Dear Sir,

Today I purchased jewellery worth around 50,000/- from Bheema Jewellers (Bangalore) and was carrying a Deutsche Bank Credit card to make the payment. To my surprise, the cashier told me that the transaction is declined. I was dead sure that he was wrong and asked him to make another try and he kept on trying SIX TIMES FROM 6.07pm -till-06.49pm.

Not only this, when I fished out another Credit card (American Express) from my wallet after having long discussion with the Deutsche bank customer care, the cashier of the jewellery shop asked me for a Identity-card to ensure that I am not a fraudster. This really embarrased me and I had to produce my driving license to prove that I had a valid credit card. The customer care kept advising me to try after 10 min and i stood there for 40 mins at the cashier. I lost my self respect due to Deutshe Bank's 'technical difficiulties' (as the customer care kept on telling me). I am attaching this screen shot of Deutcshe Bank website where they said that due to maintenance purposes, few services will be down from 4.30 pm (9th Oct) till today 10.30 am (10th Oct). Today (10th Oct), I was denied transaction at 6.07 pm till 6.49 pm WHICH WAS NOT THE TIME MENTIONED IN THE WEBSITE. Moreover, the website announcement does not tell that the credit transaction will not be accepted.

After Bheema jewellers, I proceeded to another restaurant -The Village (Indiranagar, Bangalore). And my Deutsche bank credit card was denied 3 times at 08.17pm.

LOSS QUANTIFICATION: I LOST THE POINTS I WOULD HAVE ACCUMULATED DUE TO THE TRANSACTION OF 50000/- THAT WAS DENIED ON DEUTSCHE BANK AT BHEEMA JEWELLERS. I WOULD LIKE THE BANK TO CREDIT THE POINTS TO MY ACCOUNT.

PLUS

THE SELF RESPECT THAT I LOST DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WAS SUSPECTED TO BE A FRAUDSTER AND HENCE HAD TO PROVIDE MY I CARD PROOF DUE TO THE FACT THAT MY CARD WAS NOT ACCEPTING THE SWIPE. THIS MADE THE MERCHANT FEEL THAT THE CREDIT CARD IS NOT MY OWN. I WOULD LIKE THE BANK TO COMPENSATE THE LOSS OF SELF RESPECT THAT I SUFFERRED.

PLUS

THE RISK WAS HUGE OF NOT CARRYING AN ALTERNATIVE CREDIT CARD TO MAKE A HUGE PAYMENT OF 50000/- LUCKILY I WAS HAVING AN ALTERNATE CREDIT CARD ELSE I WOULD BE IN A FIX.

    I have mailed CIBIL and also Duetsche Bank Credit Support Team with the Below Details with regard to Add-On Cards issued to me without my Knowledge and also reported to CIBIL as Defaulter. I still haven't got any reply from CIBIL nor Duetsche Bank

    The Credit Card -XXXX6502 is an Add-On Card where the Primary
    Card Owner is my father Mr.Selvaraj.
    It is to be noted that I have not signed or requested for the
    Credit card from Bank and the Primary Card Holder is solely
    responsible for the Payment. Neither the Bank have not contacted
    me for any Payment request till date. Hence I request CIBIL to
    please research if the information is a Duplicate with that of
    Mr. Selvaraj, the Primary Card Owner and that provide me answer if Fields like Overdue
    is necessary for Add-On User in the CIBIL report.

    ACCOUNT-HSBC XXXX9264
    AUTHORISED USER with High Credit:76,672

    The Credit Card -XXXX9264 is an Add-On Card where the Primary
    Card Owner is my father Mr.Selvaraj.

    Again, I have not signed or requested the card and upon
    discussing with Mr. Selvaraj, he has provided the information
    that Bank have called with offer and requested to provide family
    member names for Add-On Cards. Hence the Credit card came in
    Mail. I have no idea of the card which was issued to me and I
    came to know only after seeing CIBIL Report. Hence I request
    CIBIL to provide me if the Information provided from its
    members(Banks) are being validated that if the consumer have
    signed or what support documents were provided by the consumer
    for getting the credit card in order to accept the information.

    Note: It is to be noted that the I have never
    touched/Benefitted the Add-On card and that Sum of Amount
    displayed in the Credit Report for the Add On Card XXXX9264 of
    Rs.76,672 is never a valid information my statement.
    It is Only Valid if CIBIL takes care to mention the amount
    used by Add On Card separately and not the Total Amount used by
    the Primary Card to avoid Duplication of Information.

    Please let me know if CIBIL needs
    further information from me for the research and Hope to get a good
    explanation from CIBIL soon.

      An interesting act of RIP OFF FROM DEUTSCHE BANK

      This is further to my discussion with Deutsche Bank in regard to a waiver of the interest charges levied on my card on account of non payment of dues for the month of July.. I have had a conversation with Mr Trunal from your office, asking for a waiver.. I would like to inform you that I have been prompt with my payments in the past.. Most of them have been done using the online channel.. In fact most of the times I have deposited over one months dues in advance.. On this occasion my wife had deposited a check of Rs. 5000 (the amount is over and above my outstanding balance of Rs. 3000), however since it was an outstation check the same had not been deposited for collection.. We at no point received any intimation from the bank stating that there has been a issue with check, which have ideally been the case.. Having not received any communication from your office we were under the impression that the charges have been paid for.

      More to that I recently sent them over 4 mails asking for reverts which have yet not arrived.. They have verbally stated to me that they would waive of 50 % of the charges, which I think is un ethical.

      I want few clarifications on this.. I WOULD UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE MAKE THE PAYMENT FOR THESE CHARGES, SINCE I CONSIDER THEM TO BE UNETHICAL AND BASELESS.

      How would we know that there is no DB branch in Guawhati.. Where on the back of the card statement was it mentioned.. Why was there no intimation for the fact the the check was not deposited.. I have 2 other credit cards with other banks whom I deal with regularly who seem to be more capable o[censored]nderstanding the right from the wrong..

      DB has faltered on following fronts..

      1. They never mailed us the returned check prior to the due date.. They do not have excat recods of when the check was deposited.
      2. They did not intimate us about the problem with the check. They claim to have sent an SMS, again date not known much after the due date.. How can one consider an SMS (getting digital evidence is so difficult) to stand as right.. Mor
      3.They have taken so long to reply to my mails and my querys, wheres on the phone their colleagues mentioned removal of 50 % of the charges..
      4. They claim that they cannot mention all payment related information at the back of the card statement..

      In fact a month prior i'd deposited over 7k additionally on the card..
      My case is clearly of the nature that i made the intention to pay..
      Proof of which is the check leaf dated 5th of july.. I.had not faltered
      intentionaly.. Anyways i.ve plenty cards to operate with.. DB can
      very well cancel the card.. I'll make to closure of my account n never
      ever again use DB..

      I have copied the details mentioned at the back of the card statement..
      All payments are to be made in Indian Rupees only. The Cardholder has the benefit of only following modes of effecting payment
      to a Bank:
      1. Online Funds Transfer from a non - Deutsche Bank Accounts using NEFT/ dbQuick Pay/ Visa Money Transfer facility.
      2. Funds Transfer from Deutsche Bank Current/Savings Account.
      3. Cheque/Draft favouring Deutsche Bank Card Number XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX deposited at Deutsche Bank Branches/ATMs, dropped in Sky Pak/MINC drop boxes. Please note that the outstation cheques only from Deutsche Bank locations can be accepted.
      4. Cash deposit at Deutsche Bank Branches/ ATMs. Charges apply. Payments received against card outstanding will be adjusted
      against all EMIs, Taxes, Fees, Other charges, Interest Charges, Cash Advance and Purchase in that order.
      1. FEES & CHARGES
      a) Joining & Annual Fees - Joining and annual fee may vary from customer to customer and from offer to offer. These shall be
      communicated to the card member at the time of applying for the card.
      b) Cash Advance Charges - 2.5% of the advance amount subject a minimum of Rs.250 Interest accrues on cash advance
      transactions from the date of the transaction.
      c) Service Charges - Returned Cheque Charges - Rs.250/- Balance Enquiry Charges at Non-Deutsche Bank ATMs - Rs.25/-
      Foreign Currency Markup - 3.5%(effective Feb 1, 08) Savings Plan Change - Rs.250/- Image Change on Card - Rs.150/-

      (Annual Percentage Rage) (effective Apr 1, 2010)
      Interest is calculated on a daily basis on the current outstanding balance of the Cardholder. Interest is levied if total amount due
      is not paid off by the due date. Interest is also levied on all fees, charges, interest and service tax. Please note that making only
      the minimum payment every month would result in the repayment stretching over a period of time with consequent interest
      payment on your outstanding balance. e.g. at 2.95% p.m., it would take you 129 months to payoff an initial purchase of
      Rs.10,000/- if you make a payment of only the minimum amount due (with Minimum Amount Due at least Rs.100) each month.
      Interest Calculation Example - If the statement cycle is 25th of every month and the January statement has one transaction :14th
      January Shoppers’ Stop Rs.10,000 The outstanding balance on 25th January is Rs.10,000. If the complete payment is made
      before 14th February, no interest shall be levied. However, if a part payment of Rs.7,000 is made on 10th February, then interest
      will be calculated as below :
      1. Interest on Rs.10,000 from 14th January - 25th January (11 days) = 10,000 x 2.95% * 12/365 x 11 = Rs.106.68
      2. Interest on statement balance as per 25th statement from 25th January - 10th February (16 days) = 10,000 x 2.95% x 12/365
      x 16 = Rs. 155.17
      3. Interest on outstanding balance of Rs.3,000 from 10th February 25th February (15 days) = 3,000 x 2.95% x 12/365 x 15 =
      Rs.43.64
      Total interest as per 25th February statement = 106.68 + 155.17 + 43.64 = Rs.305.49.
      Please note in the above illustration interest has been calculated at 2.95% p.m.
      f) Over Limit Charges - 2.5% of Over Limit Amount subject to a minimum of Rs.300.-
      g) Late Payment Charge - Based on Total Amount Due: Up to Rs.10,000 (Rs .350/-); Rs.10,000 - 20,000 (Rs.450/-); Rs.20,000
      - 30,000 (Rs.550/-); Above Rs.30,000 (Rs.700/-) (effective Feb 1,08)
      HOW TO MAKE PAYMENTS
      1. FEES & CHARGES
      1. The Bank will send at the Cardholder’s registered email address, a statement once a month for each billing period during
      which there is any transaction or an amount outstanding of at least Rs.50, on the card account.
      2. Non-receipt of statement would not affect the Cardholder’s obligations and liabilities under this Agreement and he/she shall
      be liable to settle at least the MINIMUM AMOUNT DUE before the payment due date.
      3. Minimum Amount Due is calculated as 5% of Total Amount Due or such other amount as may be determined by Deutsche
      Bank at its sole discretion. Please note that EMIs are added to the Minimum Amount Due in full.
      4. The Cardholder agrees that it is his responsibility to notify the Bank in case of non-receipt or discrepancy in his monthly
      statement within 15 days of his statement billing date. In case the Cardholder does not notify the Bank of any such event, the
      statement will be deemed to have been delivered and conclusive.
      5. The Cardholder can contact the Bank through any of the following communication channels for any enquiries and/or
      redressal of concerns:
      a) 24-Hour Phone Banking Number:[protected] # .

      Please note, the option to convert transactions on your Deutsche Bank Credit Card into EMI is not applicable for petrol purchases,
      jewerally purchases, cash withdrawals or such transactions as may be specified by Deutsche bank from time to time.
      4. CONVERTING YOUR TRANSACTIONS TO EMI
      2. CREDIT AND CASH WITHDRAWAL LIMITS
      1. Credit Limit: This is the maximum limit assigned to the Cardholder. Your total outstanding including all transactions, fees and
      charges should not exceed this limit.
      2. Cash Limit: This is the maximum Cash Advance Limit assigned to the Cardholder. This limit is lower than the Credit Limit and
      is a subset of overall credit limit.
      3. The credit and cash limits will vary for each Cardholder and will be disclosed in the monthly statement sent to the
      Cardholder.

      Bank — late payment charges

      i have used the card on 15 Nov 2009 for Rs:381=00 , i have not received the statement for the folowing month hence the payment was not paid, you can see the past track record payment made by me to bank. I have received the statement for the of December 2009 where i have noticed interest charges, late payment charges ,service tax which is coming to Rs 350=35 . which is not fault from my side.

        This is regarding my credit card issue
        Actually i wanted to do settlement of my credit card payment issue for which i had launched complaints to DB CC customer care and ask them to transfer me to their settlement team , but they use to cut the call or say they don't have such team.
        Also after registering several complaints they have not stopped charging INTEREST on the false amount which they have charged to me i.e some fee again i had also made an complaint against this but there was no support what so ever from them.
        DBCC is only interested in harrassing the customer and take a good lmpsum from them in form of Some un ethical fee or charge.

        I seek your interference in this case and help me in resolving the same.

        Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Customer support service arrogance

        I was talking to the executive for 1196 rupees charges for bounce of cheque of 1445 rupees. I was at fualt for bouncing due to my negligence in withdrawing cash before check is passed.

        My enquiry was why so much additional charge. they said 350 for bounced cheque, 72.27 interest, 69.24 taxes and surpringly rs. 250 for cheque returning!! this comes to 741.51 rupees. But total amout paid extra was 1196 ruppees. I was explaining to the female excutive with 2 statements, she did not understand. I explained it to her as if i am talking to the kid, then also she could not understand.

        I lost my temper and i said, if you can't understand simple arthamatics, please put me to your superior. She said what any normal man can never expect. She said, "MIND YOUR LANGUAGE".

        I said, please understand where to use this word. you can not talk like this. Not only arthamatic, youalso doesn't know english.

        I was insisitng her to tell what is fowl language did i use. She could not say anything. to her arrogance, she (Ms. Malavika) was justifying her use of "mind your langauge"...

        I don't know, whether deutsche bank is using dumb executives to get away for lavying additional charges!!!

        Deutsche Bank Credit Card — settlement issue

        Dear Sir/Madam,
        I used to hold Deutsche bank credit card [protected] which I have not used since january, 2008. Recently, I have come to know that the bank has levied a wrongful charge on my account. I have paid the complete amount and I always maintained a good credit history. The last usages made on 5/12/2007 amounting Rs. 2837.00 and last payment was made on 12/02/2008 amounting Rs. 3.333.00 matching the total outstanding. I have made the complete payment outstanding except the late payment charges of Rs.1274.18 which the bank charged on me during January, 2008, as I missed the due date for some un-avoidable reason. However, when I called up the bank customer care at that time for the waiver of this extra charges, they agreed upon the same. Now the bank is saying that the charge was not waivered, and henceforth they have applied extra charges all through this 20 months, and asking me to pay Rs.15,000.00. The bank has not sent me any statement al l through these months and I strongly feel this is a deficient service from Deutsche Bank violating my consumer rights. Therefore, I insist the bank to take immidiate action and close the account right away.

        Dear sir,

        I was trying to book an air ticket from Ranchi to Delhi on Kingfisher airline for travel on 08th October through payment by DB card held by me. For some reason, I have not been able to receive the ticket or PNR number. I am not aware whether the payment to airline has been released by DB. Kindly let me know by return mail so that I can deal with the matter accordingly.

        Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Mis use of credit card

        Hi,
        Yesterday Night i received a SMS quating that my credit card has been used for online shoping for and amount of Rs 103763.73, and the surprice is that i have not done this transaction. so i called the Bnak customer care and reported the Misuse of my credit card. they immidiatly blocked the card and said took a complaint stating that i need to wait till the bill happens for this transaction and then i need to fill a form that they are sending me.
        my fear here is that the billing date for my card is 45 days away, if i wait for so long doing nothing what wil be my sitiation.
        if some can suggest me on how to go about this...

          Dear Sir
          We had a home loan from Deutche bank from 2008 to 2010. On April 2010 we had pre closed the loan on 17-04-10. But on 20-4-10, they initiated the ECS of emi of Rs 8950/- without any intimation which was bounced. Technically this should not be happened. Further, they have charged Rs. 500/- for cheque bouncing otherwise they told that they will not issue the NOC and original documents.

          I feel that this is an injustice to me and I would request you to take satisfactory action against the bank so that this kind of thing never happens.

            Dear Sir,

            I would like to complain against Deutsche bank credit card as issued by the bank. The details of my card no. is as follows:

            Card no. [protected]
            Card Company: Deutsche Bank
            Name: Mrityunjoy Chatterjee
            Mother's maiden name: Sadhana Chatterjee
            DOB:28th Feb, 1980

            For the above card no. i have closed my card sending an email requesting for such cancellation, along with the last payment outstanding in the month of March, 2008(don't remember the exact date). the then outstanding was somewhere around within Rs. 1500. buti have made a cheque payment of Rs.1700 and above. So it means that after making the payment my outstanding was zero (0). Meanwhile i requested for a CIBIL report wherein it is showing a current outstanding of Rs. 26,000 and change which is absolutely immaterial. They couldn't intimate me about the same beforehand and kept on accumulating interest and late payment fee for the same and finally made my name in the list of defaulters in the CIBIL report.

            It is because of this, I am not able to apply for home loans, neither my loans are getting sanctioned.

            Kindly do the needful and help me get the proper justice.

              Hi,

              I was using a credit card of Deustche Bank (No. [protected]). In Year 2009, I asked bank to settle my account. Their Customer care executive told me that I have to pay some 4300/- Rs. and my account will be settled and I will also get my settlement letter. One of thie collection executive came to me and I paid some 4300/- Rs. to settle my account. I asked for the settlement letter and he told me that it will come soon.

              But letter didn't came. One day a customer care executive told me that your card is blocked and very soon, I will get my settlement letter. But time passed on and it was 20th Oct 2009 when I got the call from the bank that I have to pay some outstanding amount of Rs. 11,000. I again told them that my account is settled and you have to send my settlement letter. But he told me that as the amount is 11,000 and now if settlement letter will be released, then you have to pay 1500/- for settlement. I asked them to send my settlement letter anyways. He promised to send the settlement letter within a week.

              But again time passed on and no settlement letter came and in the month of June 2010, I again got a call from Deustche Bank that I have some outstanding amount of Rs. 20000/- to pay. I again repeated that please send my settlement letter as my account is settled. The executive told me that I have to pay 1500/- to settle my account and my settlement letter will be send. and that letter was to be sent on Monday (7-Jun-2010). Their executive also called me on Monday that today I will get my settlement letter. But that most awaited angel didn't came and still i don't got the settelement letter.

              Now I have some queries for the bank:
              1. Is it Deustche Bank's hidden policy to harrash the customer in such way. Is Bank waiting for the day to come when he can tell me that some huge amount is outstanding in my account and then it will be more enjoyable for bank to harrash me?
              2. Why I have to Pay 1500/- to settle my account when your bank is doing the mistakes?
              3. When I will get my settlement letter?

              If I don't get my settlement letter and answer to all my queries within 3 days I will proceed to open a case in consumer court.

              I will not let Deustche Bank to play with my money and consumer rights.

              Please look into the matter very urgently and please send my settlemet letter.

              I have also send a mail to Duestche Bank but don't got any response.

              The Customer handling is very poor. The executive didn't talk to me in a manner which is expected from a service provider to it's client. At one instance, The executive hanged the phone without listening to my concern. This is not the way to handle the customer. Although customer is now settling his account but you have made profit from him. With this profit you feed your family. So think!!!
              How you behaved and how you should behave with a customer.

                Before some time repeatedly Mr. VIRENDRA, 1 OTHER PERSON Called and started conversations with very poor language, they requested him not to misbehave & his poor languages. He is also calling at my office phone that attended by Receptionist, she was telling me about his misbehavior & poor language.

                  I have a complaint against Mr. Parmanand Vaswani.This gentleman & his associates has called me several times for assigning a Deutche Bank credit card co-branded with Landmark. I was not intrested in taking the card but he has forced me to take the same. He has asked me to submit my Pan card details, My salary slips & my ID.

                  Despite submitting all the valid documents I have not yet received the Credit card as promised by Deutche bank. I have been cheated as beacuse I have submitted my personal documents to him.

                  Perhaps he may come to know about my bank details as because I have submitted the documents as suggested by him. I think he has cheated me & has taken all the vital information about my bank account. Need your immediate help & attention in the same. I think he is running a racket in the city.

                  Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Documents Taken. No Card

                  I had applied for the Lufthansa Deutschbank Credit Card on 24th August 2008. All my documents including my other credit card details were taken and a confirmation was given that I will be getting a final call on 26th August, 2008. but no call has come in since then. Also when I had contacted the Customer Service Centre they had said that my application had not been filed at all. I cannot believe an international bank such as Deutschbank can be so disorganised in fucntioning. Its been a month now and nothing has been done.

One of my client based in Dubai has transfered an amount of 5910 US $ againist an Invoice submitted from our company. My client in UAE banks with Emirates NBD and my company current A/C is with State Bank of India, since SBI does not have a branch in UAE the payment was routed through Deutsche Bank. My client has shared the invoice from Emirates NBD where in it states that the amount was debited from his account (Emirates NBD)on 26th April 2010 with the TT No:[protected] and the Ref No is MSS19684/SEN504117. Till now ie 8th May 2010 end of day I dont have any information from Deutsche bank or SBI, I tried calling the call center but have not got any information. 12 days have passed by and I dont know when it will reach me.                     I got a personal loan from duetche bank.Since one month I have been extremly engaged in my business. I have never missed any of the installments of this bank but inspite of that now I am receiving a bad code of conduct in form of phone calls and in person from the collection team. Mr. Chandrajit Singh, a man who comes from the collection department and has conducted a very behaviour with my family and that also before the due date.                       I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Deutsche Bank Credit Card procedures.
                      I had a credit card bill to be paid on 28th March 2010 , so i had dropped the cheque for the same on 21st March, 2010.
                      One week prior to the due date. The cheque details are as follows. Cheque no-716275, Dated- 21st March, 2010. Bank- Ing Vysya Bank Ltd. Amount:-5630/-
                      I dropped the cheque at "Rays Clothing Ways" 10,Galleria, Hiranandani Gardens Powai Mumbai-76.
                      But bank had cleared cheque lately in April and in the next bill they have included the Late payment charges, Interest cahrged and all the fees which they
                      wanted to charge extra.
                      I already registered a complaint about this and the Request No is :- 63430. But they were not able to give me the details for cheque clearing.
                      They said "upon investigation cheque was recieved late", but there was no date information when it was recieved and cleared. Instead they given me a
                      offer of 50% wave off on Late Fee and Interest charges. First you will charge me unnecessarily and then giving me 50% discount on the amount which is charged unnecessarily.
                      So i requested to cancel my card as i am not satisfied with the service and the Request No for the same is :- 81734.
                      I dont want to break relation with your bank , but your bank made me to take this harsh step.

                      There are lot of questions unanswered for me as mentioned below ?

                      1) I got emailid head.[protected]@db.com,customer.[protected]@db.com from offical website of bank , why there is no repsonse, if you send mail ?
                      2) While i joined for this card for some years back there was no online payment option, i need to use cheque everytime time , why there is no standard
                      procedure for clearing cheque , why they can delay and charge extra charges???
                      3) Why i need to pay charges for the delay from the bank?
                      4) Why my issue not addressed from bank?
                      5) Why bank can't give details for Cheque clearing ???
                      6) Why common man at the losing end always?
                      7) Why you are not holding responsible the person who is collecting the cheque from drop boxes and providing it to you...?

                      Mr Santhosh I am also a part of a MNC Bank. I just want to update you that if any Bank got the cheque of other Bank for the payment same day or next day (If Droped before 9 o clock same or next) that cheque will be sent for clearing and then bank will wait for other bank (in your case Ing Vysya Bank) to disburse the amount so Deutsche is not at all responsilble for those charges you should speak to Ing Vysya Bank people that why they have delayed the disbursel of money.

                      There is no Bank in any country who want to cheat because Bank run on the basis of trust and long relation with the customer.

                      I hope you might have got answers of few of your questions.

                        But bank have cleared cheque lately in Jan and in the next bill they have included the late payment charges and all fees which they wanted to charge extra.

                        So after returning to on March 1st2010 , i went to DB office MG road to get details . They told that my issue can be addressed by Customer Call centre or send to email to customer care email id.
                        So i have sent mail to customer.[protected]@db.com on March 29th , but no response and i have got new mail id cards.[protected]@db.com after searching online.
                        So i forward issue to new mailid on April 6th , after i got one mail on 7th like "we are looking into this issue".
                        For so long there was no reply , so i have send reminder on April 8th and April 13th and finally got response on April 19th.
                        Mail content was like "upon investigation cheque was recieved late" , but there was no date information when it was recieved and cleared .
                        To get information i have send one more mail on the same day , but no reply till then. So today [April 28th] i have sent one more reminder and called the customer care , but the guy attended call told i need to wait 24 to 48 hrs to get reply mail.
                        From previous experience with bank , i know that this time also they will not keep the commitment ,so i have asked escalation to higher manager , but asked wait in hold , i have waited for 2-3 minutes and no escalation happended .
                        There are lot of questions unanswered for me like below ?

                          I took personal loan from this bank. While taking loan they have given a payment emi schedule. I was checking this schedule every month. When the last month EMI is over I was so happy that loan was over. But this bank has deducted the amount for the next month. I have complained them, they stated that they have given wrong statement and they have deducted for next 3 months EMIs.

                          How can these bank cheat their customers by stating they have given wrong statement and deduct more money... My sincere request is please dont have any kind of relationships with this bank they will cheat now. No doubt in that.

                              I received a call today from a guy named Shrikanth from Deutsche Bank though I have not taken any loan nor I had any transaction with that bank in the past and he called me and asked whether I was Mohammed Thameemudeen, for which I said no as I am Thameem Anzari, for which he said no you are Mohammed Thameem and I know i can recognize it from your voice and you have taken a loan from our bank and you have to repay,

                              I was taken aback and shocked I have been in Delhi for last 8 years and recently moved into Chennai and this guy called me up and threatening me that he will launch a complaint and was speaking in an abusive manner, which I didn't like for some one why he has to impose his allegations on me, this is truly a unprofessional and cheap behaviour from a banking professional I have ever come across.

                              I would like to launch a compalint against this guy or he should understand that he had spoken to the wrong guy.

                                I would like to inform you that I have a salary account with Deutsche Bank Noida.They sent me a Gold Debit card along with the pin without any prior information on 28/12/09 at my office address (as per their record) ,but it was never received by me .
                                I never placed any request to issue me a new debit card as my old debit card is valid till Sept 2010.When i ask them why did they issue this new card they said that it was a gold debit card as we upgraded you account but i was never informed that they are going to issue a new debit card.Now in the month of Febrary 2010 Some has withdrawn cash over 1 lac INR from my account that i came to know recently when i checked my mini statement on 5/4/10 then on the same day i filed a complaint with the bank customer service on 05/04/10 (complaint no SR[protected] and filed FIR also with Sector 18 Noida polica station on 6/4/10.They also took a request n writing from me to stop ths new debit card however i never put a request to sse this card.I want you to take action against them because how can they issue a new deit card without blocking the previous one and without informing the customer if the customer has not put any request.They have not done anything as if now however they said they are doing some research.I want you to help me and ask Deutsche bank to recover my loss and to stop this kind of irresponsble behaviour n the future.I would also like to inform you that this is not the first incidence with this bank .In Apr 2007 also they pad someone's phone bill from my friend's account and when he filed a complaint then they sad he set up a direct debit to pay that phn bll in amount of 3100 however it was never set up and the bank does not have anything in writing and they have not resolved this issue till the date.

                                Please take strict action against the bank as they are not learning from ther mistakes.

                                  i have Deustche Bank Credit Card no.[protected] which is expired and the DBCC is still cahrging me with the Late payment fee and other charges for which i had made many calls to their phone banking officers for SETTLEMENT purpose and every time when the officer use to transfer me to the SETTLEMENT EXECUTIVE they use to disconnect my call or put me on hold without attending my call , this has happened not once but many times.I had stopped using this card due to the this type of disgusting and phatethic customer service by DBCC. Also previously i use to receive statement's after the due date inspite of several coplaints being lodge thru phone banking.Still this problem continued in each and every month and i had to stop usage of this card.
                                  I would request you'll to kindly help me in resolving this issue at the earliest as this is spoiling my credit card image and hence take some action against DBCC as they are palying with the customer's.

                                    Please Please reply me if the mail is fake or not, cause we were about to issue the cheque to this person. As a precaution, we called up Deutche Bank London office, were they refused to connect to the HR department as they said there is no such person named Kerry Ben in the concerned department.

                                    If it is fake, it was a narrow escape.

                                    I also found similar mails received by lots of people.
                                    Isnt there a way to stop this fake mails, cause out of 10 atleast 1 would have fallen in the trap.

                                      Dear All,

                                      This is to inform and stop the fraudulent transactions that happened today

                                      at 8:42 p.m and 8.28 p.m on my credit card ( Deutsche bank card) the smses that

                                      came to me showed the Merchant to be AIR INDIA, Gurgaon.

                                      The transaction details are:



                                      X73053 for Rs9610

                                      And

                                      X06081 for Rs 4965

                                      After that a series of attempts were made which were foiled

                                      as at the same time i had connected to the DB call centre,

                                      And the card was blocked.



                                      The card used for these transactions is :[protected]

                                      4007

                                      With expiry 11/12

                                      Belongs to HEMANT GUPTA



                                      These transactions were fraudulent transactions as the card was not used by me or any one else i know. these transactions were carried out without my consent

                                      Bankers end that these transactions were carried out without my consent.



                                      There has been a serious problem with the Bankers software with a series of requests filed to update my correspondance address and to send the pin. It always shows my old address and it so bad to the extent that even today after updating numerous times, the credit card still showed my old address.

                                      problems that i have faced many times.

                                      I seriously doubt that it is because of the software problem or may the details of my card have been passed on by the bank to some one internally who has used it.

                                      this matter needs to be investigated very seriously.



                                      Also the transaction needs to be traced as to what was booked, if these were tickets then the booking needs to be traced and the people need to be behind the bars.

                                      I now leave it to the heads to sort this problem of

                                      fraudulent transactions to be stopped as the money has yet not changed hands

                                      and the bank has yet the pay the Merchant.



                                      I would also need the details as to what was booked and for which sector along with the rest of the

                                      details so that a proper FIR can be also launched (in case required) with the

                                      Police if that is what that has actually happened.



                                      I would request the transactions to be cancelled and the

                                      money to be reversed asap.



                                      Hope we will not sleep on it and an immediate action will

                                      be taken .

                                        Hello,

                                        A sales executive of Deutsche Bank India (Gurgaon) region sold a Deutsche Bank Platinum Credit Card ([protected]) to me with following offers:
                                        1) 10 International Air port lounge passes which (as he promised) can be used to avail the Lounge at any International Airport for absolutely no fees.
                                        2) He told me that I can use the card and if I am not satisfied with the services of the card, then I can surrender it anytime before payment of joining fees. In such case, I would only be required to pay the usage of the card and no joining fees.
                                        3) A card design of my choice from the list of available choices was also offered for free.
                                        4) Later on the sales guy added 2 Jet Airways promo codes to the offer.

                                        After the card reached me, the shock began as the deutsche bank india platinum credit card was just like any other default card and not the one which I selected.
                                        I got no Jet airways promo codes and no lounge passes. I called up the sales guy and he told me that those will be delivered to me from db bank but nothing came to me till now.
                                        I had to travel abroad and I used the credit card at overseas. On my return to India, I called up the customer care and came to know that lounges passes are issued on request. Till then the joining fees of Rs 3000 was added in the first month statement. I clearly asked the db bank customer care executive whether joining fees will be waived off if I pay the card used and surrender my card. He confirmed if I wish to close the card, I just need to pay the card used and not the joining fees.

                                        I paid my total card used outstanding except joining fees and raised a request to close my card giving the reason that false promises made by the sales executive were not delivered. I raised the card closure request on 20th of Jan 2010. The CC executive said they cant close the card right away and I will recieve a call back within 48 hours. I recieved no call back from deutsche bank till 27th Jan 2010 morning. In between I did call up customer care about 3 times. When I called up on 24th Jan 2010 (Sunday) and requested to act on the closure of my card, the executive asked me to wait for the call back from the bank. When I requested to talk to a manager or any senior person, she told me that no senior person is present as its Sunday.

                                        On 27th, the same sales guy called me up and told me that there is a request raised for 2 Jet airways ticket for me, to which I told him that I havent raised any such request. After some time his manager called me up and said that he has fired the person who had made false promises. The manager also told me that lounge passes do not permit complete free access to the lounge. I would require to pay around $27 per person per pass in India.

                                        Today, when I called up deutsche bank credit card customer care and enquired about the status of the request, the executive told me that the investigation is still in progress. They are now looking for the offers on the credit card request form which I signed. When I requested to talk to his manager, I was promised a call back in half an hour. Now I recieved the call couple of minutes back from a manager of deutsche bank, I told her the whole long story. She told me that Deutsche bank has already taken action on the person who made false promises to me. She also told me that bank wont wave off my joining fee even if I close the card. When I asked her what about my loss which happened due to bank's mistake. She straight away said that there is nothing she can do the joining fees cannot be waived off even if I close the card.

                                        I could you got the value of the joining fees in terms of passes and tickets on my trips. Most of the big banks in the market are giving away their credit cards without any joining fees. In such a situation, why should I go for paying Rs 3000 as a joining fees for offers which I cannot use.

                                        I expect a just behaviour and positive response from bank's side.

                                        I have a Gold Credit Card of Deutsche Bank last 3 years...I have a good payment track record with CIBIL
                                        as wel las the Bank...unfortunately i got into bad liquidity crunch last 2 months and there was a delay for the first time on my credit card...collection agent came home and asked me to meet up with bank official
                                        at M.G. Road, bangalore..I had mentioned to the executive that there is a temporary delay and i am making arrangements to pay up the minimum amount due to regularise the outstandings due..i had then travelled out to chennai for 5 days..on 2nd Feb morning 10.00 am i got a call from a person quoting as a deutsche bank officer and he used the below language to me

                                        why the you didn't pay the dues ???/ u know the language that i am speaking...u r a bustard
                                        i will show you...too dirty language for a corporate bank.

                                        it was a harassment to me..
