Dear Sir,

With respect to my complaint with the Deutsche bank captured below the bank has remained silent and has not made any official communication on the same not even an apology. I wish to register a Complaint on Deutsche Bank on grounds of Harassment, deficiency of service and breach of banking
principles and take the issue to a logical conclusion.

Saturday, May 2, 2009 claiming for a non payment of Rs 54000 (approximately).
For this I require a explanation and redressal. This is not only disturbing but
criminal in nature. Note the bank is liable and accountable for all its actions.

The bank owes explanation on the following:

1. Not following KYC norms and accepting a Chennai mobile number for Kolkatta
based Customer.

2. Harassment of customer(myself) over phone when I owe no dues to the bank.

3. Allowing a fraud & cheating to be committed.

4. Breach of my privacy & Misuse of my mobile number.

5. Breach of banking principles.

6. Refusal to provide identity of the executives in the bank for escalation.

The bank is hiding behind the call center and not providing proper explanation
and clarity on the issue.

The bank lacks courtesy and has no dignity to admit its mistakes. It touts to be
elite bank but harasses as law abiding customer, hiding behind call centers, for
no fault of his.

The Customer care raised the following complaint number 27876. The bank refused
to act immediately in spite of me repeatedly telling them its a fraud and
cheating.

I hold the bank responsible for all the above events and looking for a logical
conclusion to this episode. Note as a bank you are irresponsible. I am dismayed
and disgusted with your actions and intent.

I had received a job offer mail from DEUTSCHE BANK but got suspicious since the senders Id was a gmail id. The mail was sent to me in reference with my resume in Timesjobs. Now i know its all fraud.
Would they do something like this ...???

    This is to bring to your notice that I have charged late payment fee on my credit card unnecessarily

    I have already complained multiple times in this regard. But still in i have been charged the same.

    I had used the credit card in september '08 the payment of which was due in oct '08. To make the payment I wanted to use the reward points but all my queries to the customer care went unanswered. This lead to the payment date getting past.

    I subsequently made complaint again to customer care where I was assured that the late payment fee will be reversed and a new bill will be sent to me. No action has been taken by the bank since then and I have been getting bills with added late payments.

    Now I am being harrased with calls from them regarding full payment including the late payment and interests.

    For their delayed and atrocious services, I am being penalized and harrased with calls for payment of an amount which is wrong.

    CreditCard — reversal of late fee and excess charges

    sir/madam,
    its to inform u that im not receiving my statement of payment time to time and ur collection officers says us thatwill not charge any late charges any other unnecessary charges but when i rec. the statement late charges was shown im not not liable to pay it so pls correct it as soon as posible before my next step

      1. Deutsche Bank had stuck a deal where they offered me (Anindyo Moitra) 'The Great World Vacation' scheme which was agreed by me over the Phone on a call from Deutsche Bank representative .
      2. ' I need to pay 6 EMI's of 1123.67 total Rs.6742 and 500 handling charges with no other hidden or extra cost '.
      3. After the first EMI payment Deutsche Bank informed me Over SMS that I need to urgently Clear the Remaining amount as my Card was cancelled, the reason they say that it was the sole discretion of the bank and they reserve the right to do so at any point of time without prior intimation.
      4. After interacting with them it was found that the package/scheme availed by me stood active although my card was cancelled .
      5. Deutsche Bank insisted up on full payment but I stick to the agreement and paid them 4 installments till date . EMI of Rs.1125 each.
      6.Now when I want to avail the 'The Great World Vacation' (with reference to booking form no 806380 offered by Deutsche Bank. ) Heritage Holidays Pvt.Ltd is asking to pay Rs.1640 more as Utility Charges.

      Grievances:

      1. Why Deutsce Bank wanted to realize full Payment of the Package ? The Package was 6 easy EMI's of Rs.1125 each .
      2.Why my Card was cancelled without prior Intimation and why extra charges are levied on the remaining amount ?
      3. Why after Paying 4 EMI's the Heritage Holidays Pvt.Ltd is asking to pay Rs.1640 more as Utility Charges? while it was stated that no other charges except Rs.500 as handling charges will be debited on my Credit Card after I avail the Package.
      4.Deutsche Bank is very reluctant in replying to the mails I forwarded to them (cards.[protected]@db.com, ganesh.[protected]@db.com, Mithun Bhakta/db/[protected]@DBAPAC, Cards Care/db/[protected]@DBAPAC, Aanchal Gidwani/db/[protected]@DBAPAC, Customer Care/db/[protected]@DBAPAC, Binku Dutta/db/[protected]@DBAPAC) at least 10 times.

      I want Deutsche Bank to Return all my Paid EMI's with Immediate effect.

        Think before using world class services of Deutsche Bank Platinum(False Promise) Credit Card
        If you are going to use Deutsche Bank Credit card Services
        1. You wil get lot of false promises in case:
        a) When you get call for Credit Card offers :)
        b) When you get Card you get nothing like that ... :)
        c) When you ask to cancel the card again you will get one more promise :)
        c ) Five star Customer Care : No one to hear your complaint, again you will get one more promise
        d) No revert Calls from CC as they promise. :)
        e) When you call back after some days to know about your complaint you will get one more promise...
        f) CC Mangers missing from floors and you get one more promise for call back:)
        f) CC refuses to provide Contact details of Nodal Officer
        you will get two email IDs for credit card in "contact us" section but both the IDs are same :)
        2. When you try to use the card, It is declined due to their network problems...
        3. Main Point CC number is different from the printed number on the back of the credit card
        Nodal officer's details are missing from the bank's website


        I am fed up with the serices of Deutsche Bank as there is no one to hear my problems.
        Even the communication with Nodal Officer Mr. Manoj Naik also proved useless. Mr Manoj Naik assured me for solution and new card but all balls are from the same court. Still no action. It has been more than three months and the issue is still unresolved.

        This is my request to all my friends please fwd this MSG to your friend circle to protect them from the false statements of the bank.

          I have opted for a world vacation offer scheme with Deutsche Bank Credit Card. the bank has taken money from me & nothing I have recieved from Bank. The below added are some of the communactions which I have exchanges with Bank several phone call have been done from my side & inspite of getting assurance from Bank, no action is being taken till date.
          Two months have passed already

          This mail is with reference to the world Vacation offer which I have opted with your bank. Right from starting I am facing many problems after accepting the offer. Initially I was told that I have pay appx 6300 Rs & I will get a free accommodation in any of resort selected from the list provided. Till this point it was ok.

          But when I received the actual documents in my hand it was already a month old. I came to know that this offer is valid only till may 2009.

          I have to book the hotel atleast 2 months prior to the journey date.

          Although this was a completely irrational condition where in today's world any booking can happen right at 1 click of the Internet, I accepted it.

          I got in touch with the customer care & came to know that I have to get in touch with the official agency personally to get the confirm the availability & get the booking done. I was also told that I can discuss with the agency over phone & can facilitate the bookings

          On 31st Jan, I personally went to the Delhi office of agency appointed by the bank to handover the slip to do the bookings. Firstly the behavior of the agency fellow was very unprofessional & rude. I was told that once I submit the slips I have to wait for 2 weeks to get to know that whether I will get the bookings in the submitted list hotels or not. The reason was that they are following the stone age method of booking by sending some courier to the hotel & then confirm the booking. While mentioning the choices for the destination, I was not even allowed to book the same dates for two different places.I got a confirmation slip with number[protected]

          One should understand that in the today's world people always try to plan some leisure trips keeping in mind the public holidays so that one can get the leave benefit.

          Even after this I swallowed all the rude happenings. Inspite of all this I did not received any communication neither from bank nor from the agency regarding the bookings. When I called the agency, I was told that I will get some reply in next 3-4 days.

          No communication came.

          I called the customer care on last sat(21st feb) & did narrated the entire incident to Akansha (the customer care executive). I was given a complaint number 21546 & was told that some body will get in touch with me shortly. Now 1 week has passed & I am yet to receive a call.

          This is highly unethical & unprofessional way of dealing with customers. I am feeling cheated after dealing with Deutsche bank. This is unfortunate.

          Kindly look into the matter urgently.

          I have received a false statement from db cards. i have paid in total 5420.00 ruppes last month, but i have received the statement that i have paid only Rs. 920.00.My Deutsche Bank card [protected].Hence please confirm and send a revised Statement.

            Dear Sir,

            I would like to Lodge a complain against the Deutsche bank Gold Credit card No.[protected] .I am holding this card for last 5 months .Suddenly on last month due to my mistake the cheque of my credit card got bounce due to mis match of the amount in words and the amount written in the column. As soon as i come to know about it immediately with in 24hrs i cleared the amount. This month i got a bill in which the bank has charge a fine for the bounce in the Cheque. I cleared that bill also with immediate effect. Suddenly the very next day a SMS is send to me in my mobile and i have been informed that my credit limit is slashed down from Rs.60000 to Rs.10000. When i call up customer care to know what went wrong i am being informed that my useage in my card is not very high so the credit limit is slashed. Immediately i told the customer care to cancel my card and from now on i will not be using it any more nor i will recommand it to any one in future. Its really a disgraceful service.

            Hi,

            Even I was offered a Gold credit card from Deutsche Bank. Within 3 days of receiving the card, I had a call saying my card was cancelled due to wrong information provided about the credit limit on my existing card from another bank. The customer service took over 10 days to activate the card again after I provided complete information and proof all over again about my existing limit on the other card.

            Though rather disappointed with their poor service and delayed response, I continued to retain the card. However, within the next month the customer service informed me that my credit limit has been slashed to 10000 from the previous 65000, and did not mention any reason for doing so. I cancelled the card immediately as I am not happy with their pathetic service.

            Very bad customer service and response from Deutsche Bank.

            Back in July-Aug2008 i estlabished a credit card relation with this bank, Deutsche Bank. though i was told to receive credit limit of at least 1lakh but was awarded not even half of it. Fine by me. I got the card (its NOT my first card), and as we all do initially we use new card for small transactions.. i did the same to get familiar with the hidden charges if any. and i paid dues in full. All went smooth so i decided to use as per my usage. And guess wht one day when I was on the way to shop, around Diwali, and i receive a SMS saying your credit limit has been decreased. and you will not believe when i say it was decreased by 80%.

            Irony a week before they called me to have a add on card, i'm glad i did gt one for my mom. ... I'm so glad that i'm not giving them business at all. To the one who may be remotely thinking of going for Deutsche credit card... i would say i[censored] r ready to challenge of embarrassments .. then only go for it.

            Just think of having a business dinner, family shopping, outing with girl friend... you hand over your card for swipe and at a same time you get sms.. saying sir you line is decreased to X amount. Are you ready for it?

            its true that we cut down the credit limit when it is not in use... when you are not using it not more than 10k, we reduced it .. when you are out and if you want more credit limit for that specific period we will do it.. not only that it also decreases your exposure.. we do it only after informing and making sure of your exposure and spendings... pls do think once sir, what are we going to get by disappointing the customer and can we be in such a elite position if we do so... pls do think about it.. sorry if it hurts your ego sir but then it is good for you and as well as the bank... we always do what is good for the bank.. how can we afford to play with the reputation of the bank.. pls try to understand..

              I have applied an Gold card application to Deutsche bank & accordingly bank had issued me an Gold card having with credit limit Rs.1, 14, 000/- but after passing only 2 month of card issue, bank have reduce my credit limit without any reason to Rs.10, 000/- only. when i call the helpline number, the tale-caller informed me that bank is not bound to given any reason to me for the same.

              Following Bed Experience facing from Deustsche Bank.

              1. Pracnel Loan :
              Through telemarketing I got many call for pracnel loan, after all for trail I agreed for Rs.25000/- (pracnel loan).I submitted my all document to deustsche bank person for loan and they given approval for this loan amount but at the time of relishing DD suddenly they refuse to give this amount.risen????
              Note : I am salaried person and yearly income around lake.

              2.Credit card :
              I taken Deutsche bank credit card through telemarketing.
              After few month I got call from telemarketing department that my credit card number is selected in good customer category and they ready to give me Dimand card holder facility on this card but I have to take World Vacation offer to activate this facility.After that I agree for this offer and paid Rs.6742/- but as per conformation till date I have not received any compliment gift nor any kit for this world vacation plan.

              3. Request for IPIN Number :
              I also Given request for IPIN number on Toll Free number but till date I have not received any response for this matter.

              Suddenly week ago I got SMS for termination of my card .all this experience is creating negative picture in my mind above deutsche bank.

              So please take some necessary action above such matter so deutsche bank generate good business in India.
              As a senior marketing person I feel bed about your banking marketing system.

                Hi,
                In the evening, when i was driving to my home. i received a call from deutsche bank about credit card matter. His name was Eklavya Jain. I straight away told him that i don`t want any card. But he insisted to listem the details. i agreed. He explained me some plus points of that card and then asked my position and current bank details. I replied "I am an executive and hold an account in ICICI bank". he said "Oh my god". And listening this i said i don`t want the card. Then that bloody said "Apko milega bhi nahi" and cut the phone.
                I don`t understand why these call and mis-behave. this is terrible thing from an interntional bank. This was my first encounter to such a rude behaviour from any executive.

                  I had applied for a caredit card with Duetsche Bank sometime in the month of October 2008, after repeatedly being haunted by their tele-rep, only to be rejected 2 weeks later. That too they never bothered to call me. I called them as they had told me to expect a card in the mail in 4 weeks. When they had approahced me they had mentioned that I had a HDFC platinum card, and they were issuing it as a promo to all the people who have a HDFC platinum card and that it was a pre-approved card.

                  I do understand that if I am applying for any loan or credit card, and if the bank is rejecting me for any reason then the bank is obligated to send me a response stating the reason for rejection. I have called the tele-rep 6 times since the month of November to check on the reason for rejection, only to be told that they would give me a call in 2 hours. But they never call.

                  One way, I am happy that I did not get approved, cause I would never bank with a company that gives you such a run around. Frankly never expected this treatment from a company of the stature of Duetsche Bank.

                  But, no matter what, I still want to know the reason for rejection.

                      I had a credit card of Deutsche Bank and they terminated the card on 29th december-2008, with termination card account No.[protected]

                      Toady i recieved a letter from Deutsche Bank signed by Sudipta Roy(Head of products-Asia) and Anil Ramachandran(Director & Head Cards-India).

                      Such a idiotic last para is of this letter that I feel insulted as they have threatned me to take legal action againt me when my out standing on my card is Rs.ZERO. I feel that while writting such personal letters they should know the nature of their customer as i have never defaulted in any of my payments and have never paid any intrest or late payment charges.
                      Then why such IDIOTIC letter i have recieved.
                      At such a senior level how they can afford to write such irresponsible letter.

                      Deutsche Bank Credit Cards — Poor Customer Service

                      Hi,
                      I have been duped by the Deutshe Bank these guys followed me everywhere when they wanted to sell a credit card to me, after several follow ups I agreed only for the benefit of fuel surcharge waiver was the only scheme that attracted me. Despite of many complaints to the customer service, which is sorry to say very rude and it seems they don't hire people judiciously.
                      I was deprived of the information that my form was rejected, when asked why ?.. the Representative denied to give me any information. I was shocked and taken aback when he said that we will not give you the documents that you provided the bank as they have kept it for there records.
                      I will never deal with this bank and advise people not to do so.
                      What bothers me is my personal information that this bank is using for monetary benefits, because since I have submitted my documents I have got numerous amount of sales calls.
                      I have given hopes ..only if someone can help...

                      I have not used ur card even once. It is asking for payment of nearby Rs9000. The basic starting amount was Rs7000. My card brooker told me that i need to pay amount after atleasing first use.
                      This is very painful to pay interest without use even.
                      let me ask you one thing, do they know your face or do they know about you? they are just doing their job and they are working for the bank.. your debts is with the bank and not with them personally and so why would they write you a personal letter.. that letter is from banks point of you and so it is official.. they threatened you saying that they will take a legal action, if you have made the payment then why are you worrying about it.. you can tell to the court itself right? so what you said is not true, they will send you a letter only after checking your outstanding.. could you forward the letter copy and date of receiving and the date you made the payment.. the cheque no or something that you have? dont blame people like them..
                      it may be true that ur form got rejected.. you may be in cibil or sathyam or your debts may be high or you are highly leveraged... you will definitely fall under any of these things because we bankers will always try to give you a card but on some exceptional cases we cannot... we assign the person who sourced you as your relationship manager..and if you have any problem you should give him a cal, just tell me your date of birth and i will let you know the reason through my manager sir, , ... pls dont speak bad about the bank.. the bank will always keep your information confidential and 2 of my colleagues got sacked when they tried to give leads to another bank and we are not allowed to keep the customer information and no source is given to us to find the customer details.. only our mumbai head office has those details which they wont share at any cost..

                        Sir,

                        My Deutsche Bank Personal Loan account number is [protected]. During the application phase, the DB Rep advised me that they would prefer ECS for the EMI debits and I agreed because I travel a lot and it would be inconvenient for me to give the bank a cheque on a monthly basis. So I advised my bank (Citibank) to enable a ECS mandate for DB. Please refer to the below mail from Citibank stating that as far as Citi is concerned all the formalities are completed.

                        The issue is that even though the ECS mandate has been set up, Deutsche Bank calls me each month in order to collect the cheque for the EMI and this has happened since the PL account was opened. The ECS was setup within 10 days of the account being opened and there should no reason why DB should call me for the cheques instead of collecting the EMI through ECS. Please help me.

                        Please refer to the mail below that gives the confirmation that ECS has been set up at Citibank for Deutsche Bank PL.

                          I am a credit card user of Deutsche Bank Credit Card User since May 2008.The bank has forcibly cancelled my card without any prior notice and till now it is not providing any reason for cancellation.28th Dec, I have last used this card and when I asked to redeem my accumalated reward points that is 369 as on Dec 2008 which will be Rs. 276.75, now the bank is not allowing me to redeem my points saying that the points is less than 500.I want to make it very clear, I didn’t cancel my card, if I would have done this I would have beared this Rs.276 loss for myself, in this case the bank has cancelled without any prior notice to the me (customer), as being customer I want my Rs.276.75 amount should be adjusted towards my outstanding. The bank is not giving any response to my mail or complain, though the mail was sent to cards.[protected]@db.com, head.[protected]@db.com.
                          Can uou please take necesary against this bank at the earliest.

                          Deutsche Bank — Creating the Charges+

                          I have issue cheque of Rs. 35000 (Deutsche Bank) for my payment and deposited in the Parrys ATM chennai on 16/01/2008. But till now it was not hit my Account because of that u peoples charged me LATE PAYMENT FEE AND INTREST CHARGE. You peoples have to send my cheque for clearence how i will be responsible for this. These citbank customer not sending the cheque for clearnce and holding it for some days and creating the late payment and interrest charges to the customer. Please reverse all my charges this s not first time happening with ur organisation. Each and every time u peoles trying to make fool the customer. I don know y u peoples cheating the customers like this u Plese check my last statement i have paid more than my bill amount. For that u peoples not paying interesting but making fraud and charging more charges. I need my charges back. Its my heard earned no like u peoples cheating and making money from the customers.

                          Deutsche Bank / Credit Card — Telemarketting Call

                          I have registered for Do Not Call with Vodafone but after that also I am recieving call, please try to stop these things.
                          This complaint is regarding the calls received for credit card payments on card no: [protected]

                          Which I hold since. I got a Cheque dropped favoring card a/c of Rs.2000 (ICICI Bank Cheque) at ATM on 23.04.08.

                          Even then I was repeatedly receiving calls from DB Collection deptt from someone called Rohit and from No.[protected] on 25/04/08 between 2.15pm to 2.40 pm. After communicating to him the Cheque details he forced for some cash payment.

                          I was on a board Meeting and received 10 calls from him.

                          Therefore, please send an updated statement and get the payments cleared and cancel the card ASAP as I do not want to continue the relationship with DB.

                          I will take legal action against the Bank, if I receive any calls further. I am also stopping the Cheque issued to you and sending someone to deposit Rs.2000 on this A/C.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Incomplete and deliberate late information sharing

                          Subject:: Complain # 39922 dated 4th Jan'09, Complain # 04883 and 05244 dated 2nd Jan'09

                          Dear Sir/ Madam,

                          I am sorry to write this but I am really very embarrassed and annoyed with atrocious services, I have been receiving from deutsche bank on my platinum select credit card.

                          Now, I realize that I had made bigger blunder to accept this credit card and also paid Rs 5000/= as an annul fee.

                          I think now the time had come to correct my blunder and correct my blunder and save my further embarrassment and frustration.

                          I had already mentioned all the Complaints # in the subject line, which will give most of the story by itself.

                          For your ready reference, I am herewith writing below as well. ( the real reason for frustration)

                          1. I received my credit card bill on 6th Dec.. Paid in full on 7th Dec.
                          2. Received confirmation through sms on 11th dec.
                          3. After that, a lot of advertisement smses received on my registered mobile #, which was ignored anyway.
                          4. On 2nd Jan’09 I received one letter dated 18th Dec. ( through post) that my cheque could not be credited against my card outstanding as cheque was returned by bank.
                          5. I am surprised to see this important piece of information through simple post ( not even courier) which took almost 15 days to reach me. So I think the idea was to impose interest on the outstanding amount.
                          6. I called up on 2nd of Jan’09 immediately after receiving this postal mail and talked to Ms. Afsana ( tele executive on[protected] and explained the entire story and requested that I am not comfortable paying interest and late fee and service tax etc.. Although, Cheque returned fee can be imposed. ( Complaint # 05244).
                          7. I also said that cheque collection center is also not very neat and that also can be the root cause of of problem, this I have been saying since I joined this credit card that is from Sept’08 onwards but in vain. ( Complain # 04883).
                          8. After that, on 2nd of jan during almost 45 minutes of conversation, I was not informed that my card would be blocked etc., The only thing I was told that on 4th of Jan, I could call up again and can find out that whether my other charges are reversed or not.
                          9. Today ( i.e on 4th jan) when I tied using that card in different shops, it was declined. This was really very embarrassing and frustrating experience.
                          10. Once I call up again ( phone number[protected] and talked to Ms. Deepa, she simply told me that yes the card is being blocked because of non payment. Why I am now even more annoyed as why this important piece of information was not provided to me on 2nd of Jan itself and at-least I could have saved some embarrassment, which I had faced. ( Complain # 39922).


                          Now, I think I had enough, So thanks for all the atrocious services and grievances, you had provided.

                          Please guide me how can I surrender my card now as I do not want to undergo further embarrassment.

                          Quick reply on this regard will be highly appreciated.

                          I fully agree with you. The same thing happen with me too. They cancelled my card too and now they are neither giving me the reason and adj. my accumulated points. I have also written the there customer care but didn't receive any reply. I am also not going to make any payment untill n unless they are going specify the reason and ready to adjust these points.

                          I think if they don't give the reason then we should take some legal action against them. And there dues should not be cleared too.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — money swindled

                          Hi,
                          Deutcshe Bank has a nice little racket. I recently canceled my card. There were around 4000 shopping points on the account which translated to around Rs.2500 due to me. I asked Deutsche Bank to refund those points and send me the cheque before canceling the card. They just canceled the card and did not refund the points/ money. Now when I call for my money they say the card has been canceled and nothing can be done and they refuse to acknowledge my request for a redemption of money/ points before cancelation. For a second if I had forgotten to redeem my money, isn't the card company supposed to refund the money anyways?
                          We though Germans were honest, so much for honesty.

                          In the month of july/aug. i received a call from your bank stating we are pleased to offer you personnel loan to the tune of Rs. 28000/- for the period of 12 month(EMI). On showing inttrest i asked for monthly EMI's that i will have to pay towards the repayment of loan. I was told that the 12 EMI's would be of Rs.2540-46 out of which the first EMI you will have to bear the processing fee so that would be something 3000 odd.Rest 11 emi's would be fixed 2540.46 and absolutely nothing more then that.I had raised querry as to later on you shud not charge me anything apart from 2540.46 no service tax no other hidden charges whatso ever of any nature till the end of 12 months.The tele executive gave me assurance that your EMI's would be only to the tune of Rs. 2540.46 and nothing more.

                          Now as par the terms and conditions agreed upon i accepted the personnel loan.For 5 months i received the bill as per agreement between me (borrower) and your bank (lender) and all EMI's were paid in due time.

                          From jan/09 bank started sending me bills for amount exceeding the amont agreed upon between us prior to sanctioning loan.This was contrary to the terms agreed upon between us at the time of me accepting the loan there for i called upon the phone banker and i also brought to her notice that i was asked to pay(fix) EMI of Rs.2540.46 so i am sending the cheues for the balance EMI's in accordance to the terms agreed upon mutually by us prior to loan.

                          I would also bring to your kind attention that I am still paying the balance EMI's in due time for the amount of 2540.46 the amount for which i am committed to.

                          Kindly look into the matter and give me the waiver of all other charges levied on me and send me the rectified bills.In order to maintain healthy and good relations between us.

                          Further more if you do not wish to co-operate then i also request you to cancell the above mentioned credit card issued on my name.

                          Dear Sir/ Madam

                          I am using Deutsche Bank Credit Card No. [protected] from August 2007. In May 2009 statement bank has charged me Rs. 423 as a late payment fee. I have launched a complaint to bank for reversal of payment. But bank has rejected the same. My payment due date to the bank is 28th of every month & I have made the payment of Rs. 600/- on 21st April through ICICI Bank cheque at Deutsche Bank Drop Box in Technopolish Park, Saki Naka, Andheri. The Bank has cleared this cheque after the due date & charging me extra Rs. 423/- for late payment. Same thing the bank is repetedly doing with my other colouges.

                          I paid my dues through cheque to bank - which they acknowledge that they have got. Now neither the cheque is produced to my issuing bank nor returned to me. I have intentiones to pay, but not being allowed to do so. Pl. help

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Electronic withdrawal of money

                          Deautscha Bank has withdrawn a large sum of money from my Bank account by illegally reactivating Electronic Clearing Service and it was done without my knowledge. All DBCA card holders should cancel ECS through their own bank as opposed to trusting DBCA.

                          Three managers (Meghana Rane, R. Padwal and D'Souza) in DBCA must be avoided as these are unprofessional and vindictive managers. They colluded to create new charges in my account to punish me for closing the account.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Harassement by Bank's Credit Card Division/ False claim by Bank on unused credit card

                          I am Soumyendu Biswas, Asst. General Manager of a PSU, residing at P-398 Parnasree Pally, Flat:A-4, kolkata 700 060. Following are the salient points on which I want your intervention.I have all the documents, mails as described below with me.

                          1. Received the Deutsche Bank credit card in November/ December 2006.

                          2. Never used the credit card ie, from December 06 to July 09.

                          3. Received a phone call on 21.10.08 at about 11a.m. in my Office, from a representative of credit card section of Deutsche Bank (in the land line of my Office) regarding a holiday package offer, in which I had given prima facie acceptance, subject of sending all relevant documents related to the offer from banker’s end to me as promised, verbally over telephone. At that time it was informed to me that I will get the relevant papers of the offer within 15 days from the call date, ie within 04.11.08. They didn’t even tell me that this verbal approval/acceptance of offer will be a binding in my part.

                          4. Suddenly, I got a monthly statement bill on 17.12.08 in which Rs. 2686/ was debited in my credit card account. In fact the Bank started debiting Rs.1123.67 as EMI on 23.10.08 against my credit card for the account of World Vacation Offer for which I have not given any written consent as because I could not take my decision due to the non availability of the detail paper/written documents indicating the terms, conditions, validity, scope of deliverables as promised by the bank personal .

                          5. I had sent a mail to the Head Services, Deutsche Bank, credit card section, on 20.12.08 stating that I am not accepting the offer as
                          A) The relevant papers of the offer has not been sent within stipulated period of 15 days,
                          B) The documents related to the offer were not even sent till 20.12.08.
                          C) Without my written signature of acceptance of offer, the bank has started the EMI of its own, EMI option also not opted by me. I also requested them to close my credit card immediately.

                          In my opinion, I cannot take the risk of exposing my family in a holiday tour which includes a disable daughter of mine to those persons who are not ethical, unreliable and also not responding to the customer’s need in time.

                          6. On 26.12.08 Deutsche Bank replied in mail stating that “We are acting upon the concern highlighted by you and will get back to you with the status shortly." No communication was received from the Bank for the period 26.12.08 to 22.01.09

                          7. On 22.01.09, when I was out of station, a packet came to my residence by a courier service (Blue Dart), in which no information was written on the cover of the packet that it has come from Deutsche Bank. It was accepted by my father, who is 79 years old. After coming back on 28.01.09 at Kolkata I found the packet with papers of holiday package of Plat5 ( Deutsche Bank’s partner for the holiday offer )along with a wristwatch inside the packet.

                          Please note that packet with detail of offer has come after 3 months from 21.10.08 and 1 month after informing to the bank of not accepting the offer by mail on 20.12.08, and also 21 days after Bank’s mail dated 26.01.09.

                          8. On 30.01.09 I sent a mail stating the fact of sending papers related to the offer at my residence and the fact that Bank also has not given any consideration/ importance to the mail sent on 20.12.08, and subsequently their own mail on 26.01.09.In the mail I requested the Bank to take back the materials from my residence by their representative. Also informed them that I am not interested in their offer as stated in my mail dated 20.12.08.


                          9. Bank mailed me on 2.2.09 stating that they are not been able to contact me. If this is true, then how the Bank personal could contact me earlier occasions? My Office land line (BSNL) number is same as earlier. However, on 3.2.09 I immediately mailed my mobile number . In the mail I once again requested them to take back the envelope send by them.

                          10. On 06.02.09 Bank replied to my mail dated 3.02.09 stating "we are looking upon the concern highlighted by you and will get back to you with the status shortly."

                          10. On 27.03.09 I got a mail from Bank stating “We have investigated the referred matter and according the update received, we have received a positive consent for the Great World Vacation offer. We are unable to reverse the offer” which is totally baseless.

                          11. On 07.04.09 I sent a mail stating the unethical practice they are following and asked them to enquire the entire matter again.

                          12. In the offer document of Plat 5 (Deutsche Bank’s partner for tour & travels) the following is written in the 1st point of their terms & conditions “ The Bank shall contact the cardholder for determining their interest in the program. If the cardholder gives his consent for participating in the program, the Bank shall forward details of the cardholder to Plat 5. Plat 5 shall then contact the cardholders directly and send Vouchers to the cardholders. The cardholder hereby gives his/her irrevocable consent for sharing of personal information relating to the cardholder with Plat5.for the purpose of the offer under the program. The cardholders can avail the offer only when he/she pays a handling fee of Rs.500/ along with duly filled up Voucher to Plat5. All payments made by the Cardholder in terms of the offer under the program shall be made through the card. Upon such payment and receipt of Voucher by Plat5, Plat5 shall send a joining gift to the cardholder.”

                          It is worthwhile to mention here that the voucher is still with me & nothing has been written on that voucher.

                          13. On 7th July, 2009, a person, who introduced himself as a representative of Deutsche Bank, came to my house to collect the money without prior information and harassed my family which includes my father(79 years), my mother(76 years).

                          14. Next day the same person rang me on my mobile, and I asked his name repeatedly but he did not disclose his name rather he disconnected the phone. Since it was very turbulent time in my family ( my mother in law expired on that day) I could not keep his phone number.

                          15. Finally, I received an order from the Office of the District Legal Service Authority, 24 Parganas (South) to appear in person before the Lok Adalat on 25.07.09 for amicable settlement of the petition/case, & the petitioner of the case is Deutsche Bank.

                          16. On 25.07.09 a person named Avijit Goswami, Phone number[protected], introduced himself as Bank's representative rang in my mobile. When I told him that let me write down his name & phone number, he immediately disconnected the phone.

                          16. The aforesaid matter was informed to R.B.I, Office of the Banking Ombudsman, 3rd floor, 15 N.S. Road, Kolkata-700001 on 24.07.09.

                          17. I made a General Diary against the activities of Bank in Behela Police Station on 27.07.09.( G.D No : 2704, dated 27.07.09)

                          Deutsche Bank / Credit Card — Complaint against Services rendered

                          Dear Sir / Madam,

                          I had taken a credit card from Deutsche Bank with an initial credit limit of Rs. 75000 - Credit Card No: [protected]. I used the credit card for a few months and paid all my bills on time. All of a sudden my credit limit was capped at Rs.11,000. I decided to surrender my card with a last bill of amount Rs. 785 pending. So I called up the call center and asked them if I could redeem my reward points even after surrendering my card. I do not remember the exact date when this call was made as I couldn't foresee something problematic.
                          So I destroyed my card and when the next bill of Rs.785 with reward points of 354 points due to me, I called the call center for redeeming my points garnered. I was told that I couldn't redeem my points unless it was a minimum of 500 reward points. I quickly responded and questioned why I wasn't told about this earlier. The executive apologised but said I still couldn't redeem my points.

                          Initially I refused to pay up out o[censored]tter disgust for the kind of services rendered. Then I paid up an amount of Rs.[protected]Total amount due - no of points earned).

                          In the interim I had communicated to the bank repeatedly regarding this; there was no resolution. In stead they gave me replies that
                          - I had placed no request for redemption that is why I wasn't informed.
                          This is true that I had placed no request for redemption but I had queried whether I would have no issues in redeeming my reward points. The executive replied that I wouldnt have any difficulties.

                          - Later I was told that I should have gone through the detailed pamphlets that were sent with the Credit Card.
                          If that was the case then there would be no requirement for a call center with executives entertaining such requests.

                          And now I have recovery agents of the bank calling me, who have no knowledge of the background of this case as I guess repeated communication (email) to the bank was not recorded. I have received at least 4 or 5 such calls. And most of the time the executive mentions that they would check the details of the case and get back, which happened only once. And all she said was that my charges were reversed as requested. That was never my complaint.

                          The initial amount here due was Rs. 354 which I strongly believe is not a huge insurmountable figure for me to pay up. But I did this as

                          a) When it comes to sourcing a credit card they go all out to harass the prospect just to get a customer for the bank through their hired executives.
                          b) But when it comes resolving issues like mine mentioned above there is no customer facing representative to resolve the case of the customer.

                          As a customer I do not deserve this. I hereby request for a immediate and final resolution of this case!

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — LATE FINE CHARAGE OF RS 586.55 FOR THE PREVIOUS BILL OF RS 919.51 AND THE CHEQUE DROPPED THE BOX BEFORE DUE DATE ON 23/09/2009.

                          IT IS TO INFORM U THAT I AM CREDIT CARD HOLDER OF DEUTSCHE BANK AND NO. IS [protected].FOR THE LAST MONTH BILL WAS RS.919.51/- AND DUE DATE WAS 23/9/2009. I HAVE SEVERALY REQUESTED TO THEIR CALL CENTRE NO.66016601 FOR WAIVING THE LATE FINE CHARGES BUT PPL OF THE BANK DENIED THE SAME AND ADVICE ME TO GIVE THE LATE FINE CHARGES . INSPITE OF THE RECD OF BILL OF RS.919.51/-.NOW I WANT TO PAY THE ONLY RS 3881/-WHICH IS ACTUALLY OUTSTANDING WITH THE BANK FOR THIS MONTH AND DUE DATE IS 23/10/2009.HOPE , CONSUMER FORUM WILL HELP ME IN THIS REGARD BECAUSE I AM NOT CHEATED WITH BANK BUT ABOVE BANK FORCE ME TO GIVE THE UNLAWFULL LATE FINE CHARGES AGAINST THE BILL OF RS 919.51/-WHICH IS ALREADY CREDITED WITH THE ABOVE BANK.
                          I would suggest that you should immediately pay up the remaining amount to your bank. It's not about taking a higher moral/legal stand on this issue, but about you losing a good credit score in CIBIL.
                          I had a similar issue three months back, where I refused to pay 2100/- and made a settlement for 1000/- on a Manhattan (StanC)credit card. But due to this, StanC submitted a negative report to CIBIL, and I am facing a problem getting a home loan of fifty lacs!
                          As you said, it is a small amount... don't create problems for your future. You never know what loan/card would be declined because of this small issue.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — impose unneccesary interest charges

                          I am using deutsche bank credit card since 3 years back and from there i was regular user of deutsche bank credit card and doing payment regularly. but at once i paid by cheque before 2 days of payment date but it couldn't reach on time for payment then they charges interest, late payment fees and education cess. i was given regular information about wrongly charges by bank even i discussed with bank employee on phone and for that matter i had called u at my home for actual payment which i need to pay to bank . So the bank person had arrived and took actual amount of charges and also given full and final settlement slip which is mention on my receipt. But last few month they uneccessary calling me on my mobile for payment and harrasing me mentally. which also effect in my personal life and i always said you have some amount to pay . But i have already pay . I dont know what to do with them.
                          Kindly suggest me how can i get away from this bank and i want u to take some legal action against them.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — New Cell # not getting updated

                          I had called up DB customer service THRICE in last month and have asked them to update my cell number. However I can’t understand why they are not able to change it. Every time I call and ask them to update my cell number, they say your number has been updated in our system and will reflect in 3-4 days. I think its more than 1 ½ months, still my issue persists.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Wrongly Claimed Offer

                          Hi,

                          This is Abhishek. I have been a user of Deutsche Bank credit card for the last 2 years. Its disgusting to know that the book my show offer claimed by them through which they issue one ticket one free has become a complete farce. I have been trying to use the offer in Kolkata for the last 6 months and it absolutely does'nt work. I have tried 25-30 times. On calling their customer care, instead of investigating the problem they rather believe and convincing the customer that he is wrong or does not know the rules. They say that there are limited tickets on the card each day but on trying it is very obvious that there are absolutely no tickets. Its unfortunate that they fool customers after selling the card and the customer can absolutely do nothing about it.

                          Deutsche Bank Credit Card — Incorrect Charges

                          The Due date for my Card payment was 23rd and as every month I dropped the check on 22nd but this month they charged Late Fees and interest.
                          I am also facing similar issue with the Deutsche Bank

                            Which I hold since. I got a Cheque dropped favoring card a/c of Rs.2000 (ICICI Bank Cheque) at ATM on 23.04.08.

                            Even then I was repeatedly receiving calls from DB Collection deptt from someone called Rohit and from No.[protected] on 25/04/08 between 2.15pm to 2.40 pm. After communicating to him the Cheque details he forced for some cash payment.

                            I was on a board Meeting and received 10 calls from him.

                            Therefore, please send an updated statement and get the payments cleared and cancel the card ASAP as I do not want to continue the relationship with DB.

                            I will take legal action against the Bank, if I receive any calls further. I am also stopping the Cheque issued to you and sending someone to deposit Rs.2000 on this A/C.

                              This bank cancelled my card without any info/reason.

                              I went for shopping with my friend and when I tried to do the transaction, the representative told me that your card is not working and at the same time I was not carrying cash. It was really embarrasing for me.

                              What the hell is this?

                              I have always made my payments before due date, no cheque bounce, no fraud then why they are doing this to me. This is really disgussting and I want a reason and compensation for that.

                              I just cancelled my card with Deutsche bank for almost the same reason, i went shopping and my transaction did not go through because of insufficeint funds .Overnight they reduced my credit limit without any notification it was a very embarrasing situation for me, I have never defaulted on any payments and always paid up in full .The service is horrible .I thought this bank was better than citi bank, but this is worse.
                              You should be happy that you come out of such big crap bank!

                                My Deutsche Bank Credit Card No has been misused for online payment on 13/12/2008 by someone. The amount involved in this fraud payment is total 37229/-(Thirty seven thousand two hundred Twenty Nine). The above fraud payment has made online to Ezee go one travels.

                                I have made last payment through my card is Rs 354/ to Vishal Pharma, all payments afterwards made throgh my card is fraudlent payment. Its my request to reverse the above sum and take appropriate action against this fraudlent payment.

                                I have intimate to the bank officaials about this fraud payment.

                                  I asked to their support, they said its happening just because i withdraw the amount more then 2 times from other Bank's ATM.

                                  I took personal loan from this bank. While taking loan they have given a payment emi schedule. I was checking this schedule every month. When the last month EMI is over I was so happy that loan was over. But this bank has deducted the amount for the next month. I have complained them, they stated that they have given wrong statement and they have deducted for next 3 months EMIs.

                                  How can these bank cheat their customers by stating they have given wrong statement and deduct more money... My sincere request is please dont have any kind of relationships with this bank they will cheat now. No doubt in that.

                                    I need your guidance. Last month DB(Deutsche Bank) executive has called me and told me of an unbelievable World Tour Offer. Saying that i just need to pay an amount of 6764 Rs. for 5 days and 4 nights. He said i was one amongst the 43 customers exclusively shortlisted for this offer. And the offer is absolutely free. Because of this i misunderstood the offer.

                                    They have already charged me for this without even sending the documents. I have already complained. I need your suggestions on how to come out of this loop.

                                    How can any Bank charge without even me signing on the documents? How Can they that offer is free and actually there is nothing which is free? Whom can i go to complain on this?

                                    My self P Subhash Reddy I have recently (4 months back) received a credit card from Deutsche bank on my personal interest and not yet started using it in the first month but received a call from a person saying its regarding "world vacation offer" they are providing for Deutsche bank customers on 25th November 2008. I have shocked immediately after hearing that, think how come they knew that i possess that credit card. i have accepted for that plan thinking i can use it for new year occasion to receive welcome pack and the money Rs.7303/- have got deducted from my card immediately. After 1 month at utmost last week of Dec 2009 as i haven't received it called them back for the cancellation of that offer as it was no use for me then and it was not dispatched from their end to me, but they refused to do that saying i will receive it by Jan 1st week and then only i can cancel. I thought of waiting still 2 weeks and cancel but i received a call from them saying sir sorry for the delay i will surely get it in Jan '09 1st week, during that call i requested him to convert it into EMI for 6 months for which he said there won't be any extra money needs to be paid by me, from then i started paying the amount Rs.1250/- every month. As I payed the amount 1500/- for the first month which was not complete amount they have charged me some extra charges so i mailed them regarding that on 8th of Jan and i received a call from customer care on 13th of Jan regarding my request and i have said him about how i was cheated by the company World vacation offer by them so he promised me saying i will receive a call from them in 2 days but till now 30th of Jan i haven't received a call nor welcome pack of my offer.So i called him on 29th of Jan and once again reminded him about all the requests made so he said i will receive a call from their manager today on 30th of Jan. So please I would request you to look into this issue and do me some favor and teach a lesson for such banks so that this type of banks never cheat an other persons from now and then. I was facing mental tension all these days which would never allow you to live peacefully.

                                    Completely agree with you Subash. This is a fraud bank, only way to deal with such crap bank is boycott them and increase the awareness. By the way I lost 6k courtesy Deutsche Bank- The Dumb Fraud Bank!

They called me when i was very busy I told them that i am not interested & please don't call me again then also they keep calling me & in such a hurry i said yes just to keep avoid that call. But literary i was not interested into it.And then they register me for that offer. After that i treid so many times to cancel my offer but then thay either don't respond or says like we will let u know later.So tired of all this i stop calling them.And have to pay around 7k just for nothing.

                                    I am one of the victim of there World vacation offer from Blue circle group of Deutsche Bank credit card. I too paid Rs 6742 for this offer in September 2008 and since then no body had contacted me for the vacation. Now since I paid that amount I started tracking with the vacation offer team for the option which I had opted while availing this offer. But in March 2009 I got to know that whatever option of resort which I had opted was not available (even though this option was sent to then 6 month back i.e in October 2008) and they were asking me to take an alternative. Now if I am paying money for some vacation I should get to spend it on the vacation which I want and not what the team is pushing on me as an alternative.
                                    After lot of fight with the RCI people I realize that they cannot give me my opted resort, so I went back to Deutsche back blue circle group. The lady from blue circle told me that I cannot get refund of that offer. If you read the terms and condition of the offer it clearly mentions that if booking of any resort is not confirmed then we can get back the refund with minimal deduction as administrative charges. So this is another way of eating up customer money. I tried sending mail to there so called Customer Grievances email id but as the bank is into fraud business I did not get any reply, just an automated mail that they will look into the issue that too after sending second reminder.

                                    So I can only say that those who are availing this offer from Deutsche bank will loose there money for sure.

                                    I take this offer & was very very nice experince. I am happy that Dutsche Bank is giving wonderful offers to customers

                                      I have come to this Conclusion that all these banks who advertise Personal Loans are for people who already have money or have Credit cards with all the Limits available.
                                      Especially the Banks like Deutsche Bank. I had a little crunch in my business and required a personal loan of Rs3lakhs. I applied to Deutsche bank and submitted all my papers. I am self employed and have my own business for 5 Years. My IT return last year is Rs290000, My office has been same place for 5Years, and My Company is 5 Years old. I have been having a residence address for 18 years. I submitted my passport copy, my pan copy, and my bank statement for last for six months. I have credit cards from two banks and more than 2 years old and have a credit limit of 100000 on my Credit Cards.
                                      All the verifications were done. I called up the bank as I had submitted all the documents 3 weeks ago and never received a reply from Deutsche bank, The bank informs me that they have not approved my loan and do not give any information on what grounds have they refused me a loan. I asked the bank for a credit report or control number as I was informed by CIBIL that I have a right to ask for it but till now I have not received anything from the bank.
                                      I think all these banks should advertise that they provide personal loans to people on high interest rates only if the applicant has double the money in their accounts and all the limits available in their credit cards accounts and have properties then and only then they are eligible for personal loans.
                                      I feel this personal loan is just wasting of time as I have tried this for the first time I have realized it is simply useless and wait of time. I would say it is much simply to get loan from local financiers in the market then these claiming to high reputed banks.

                                        BEWARE ! Deutsche Bank representatives are out there to cheat everyone, they will give false details of their products including mutual funds and what not and get you to buy them. They will never tell details like lock-in period, charges involved and will give you false information.
