Provident Fund — Following since last 3 years

Hi,

I worked with IBM India Pvt. Ltd (Location- Bangalore) since 13-Oct-2005 to 23-Jun-2006. My resignation was accepted and all the settelements were done in Aug-06. Then I asked IBM to help me on withdrawing my PF money. IBM helped me to fill the form and I sent it back to IBM. Finally, they sent mcheque from PF company but the account number mentioned on the cheque was wrong. I requested to Bank to allow me credit this cheque in to my account . Bank denied me because the account number mentioned on the cheque was only 10 digit, However, Acoount number was of 11 digit. I sent a request to PF company to the change the account number and reissue another cheque with correct bank a/c number. I waited for their response till Aug-08, I did not hear anything from PF company. IBM provided me some phone number[protected],[protected] but no one pickup the phone to response.

I discussed this with IBM, they asked me to fill the form again in a fresh way. I filled the form again and y PF withdrawl request to PF company after completing all the formalities. In Jan-08, I received a submitted it to IBM in Jan-09. IBM filed my request with PF company in APR-09. Today (29-May-2009), I received a letter from PF company that "My claim has been setteled on 29-Nov-07, Cheque number-169100". Now, I am not getting what to do ?

Could anyone help me or guide me correctly ?

No use.. There all M*** [censored] are sleeping in EPF office. Even i did not received my PF amount from 1 year. mails are getting bounce. They wont pick the call.. . F** this bloody system. F** the indian Govt Officials. They just made for eat, sleep, enjoy the holidays and take the salary for doing nothing. I feel to slap the govt employs. Waste bodies.They dont even know the value of time and money. At least they should work 5% for what they are getting the salary.

I am B R Gautam (e-mail id [protected]@yahoo.co.in ) and Iam trying for last 2 years to get my final claim released but no result.I resigned from M/s Interdril Power Pvt. ltd.My final PF claim was rejected as signature of authorised signatory did not match. The company is not functioning and there is nobody to receive even Phone calls. On the suggestion of EPF official of Bandra office I again submitted the withdrawl Forms with Cancelled cheque and ID proof documents, which were received by EPFO Bandra office on 13 nov. 2014 and processed fot final settlement. On my latest enquiary, I was conveyed by Bandra office that my case has been rejected once more. I really do not understand what this means. Will I be deprived of my payment of PF for good.There were other employees in same Company who have lost all hopes to get their claim paid.
I request EPFO Authorities to look into the matter and release my due Payment ASAP.

There are many reforms that needs to be carried out in India's EPF.
1. Basic + all other vaguely named allowances to be added for EPF if they have been paid on a monthly basis.
2. Contribution to Pension to be increased to 12% and an equal amount from employers - like the golden parachutes of CEOs employees need some parachute
3. 10 % of IT collected from EPF Members should be set aside to provide pension dearness allowance
4.; All unclaimed PF contributions to be transferred to this dearness allowance fund
5. Pensionable age should be lowered to 55 or age discrimination in employment should be legally stopped like in the US
6. Government Procurement and Subcontracting should be given to pensioners who set up business on a preferential basis
7. Names of all companies defaulting on PF/Gratuity payments with CEO names should be disclosed periodically on a portal by SEBI and Mutual Fund members should have a mechanism to prevent funds money being invested into those company shares.
8. All contracts of remuneration of board members and CEOs should be legally made null and void as per the list on point 7.
9. Companies must be ranked on the basis of quantum and timeliness of the EPF/gratuity payments regularly so that employee investors can reward good players and kick the rogues.
10. Mutual Funds should disclose that they take these governance principles while invbesting in companies.

I have left my service in May 2006, my A/c No. is BR/BH/25510/01 and I have also sent the filled form of form 19 and form 10C but still have not got my PF. So, kindly show me the status of my PF and also confirm my payment as soon as possible.

sir I was working in The Banyan Tree school and have resigned from the school on 1/4/2010.Now I would like to apply for my pf settlement. As per Bank Officials there has not been any cheque received in my name,
When contacted with PF Officials again, I was asked to fill a ASR form and attest the same with Bank and submit to PF office. where as bank is refusing to do any such activity.
Please advise sir, I am being humiliated, I am a working person and am not able to run here and there with a lot of rejections. Indirectly I have also been asked to bribe,
Cheque No. Provided by PF Officials is 584122 amounting Rs. 15226 only, Claim ID is[protected],
813725 amounting Rs. 33000 only. Claim ID is[protected].
as per PF Officials the cheque is already dispatched on 31 Oct 2011,

Employee Provident Fund is working their way as usual in the Goverment Style. My PF Number is not even in their status link. They is no customer service, people in their office don't want to provide information until they have something given under the table.

I want to protest at the way they are working..Government officials should be made to sit at home if they dont have any training in using system or technology. Because if the Country needs to grow..It needs grow at a pace like other countries. India will realise this once when all the business from India is pulled away by China, Phillipines or even Africa which will change in no time. Please take out Corruption, Lathargic and Intolerable officials and Imporve the country with better systems in place.

So far my account in both the account nos. TN/ 40450/4081 and TN/ MAS/52711/632 have not been transferred to my present a/c no. WB/PRB/ 34609/61954 in spite of my repeated requests for transfer.

Transfer/Withdrawal:
Usage of RTI can solve your problem.
1) White paper with detailed query of status of application for PF number (from to respected sir format)
2) 10 rupees postal order
3) Post to address
Public information officer, EPFO, place where PF account maintained
See the response in 30 days and the government officer in charge of your application has to give reason with justification/answer and it will stand as a proof with valid authorized signature from a government officer.
Please write query in clear ad legible manner. If there, enclose the copy of PF withdrawal or transfer application with your RTI application.
Government officials will not give blunt replies for your RTI. You can see the accountable person for delay has to give an answer within 30 days and has to do his duty without fail. If not, he will be fined for each day delay in providing information.
Lot of success stories are there in usage of RTI in all government organizations since 2005…
Please send application to Central Public Information Officer of nearest Provident Fund office with postal order of Rs.10.
