I've bought the Fiat Palio Stile 1.1 SLE in October '07 from lexus Motors, Kolkata. In past 2 months 3 big problems I've faced and they are not resolved.
1. Water drips from the AC inside the cabin from the chamber just above the clutch paddle.I've taken it to the workshop, but the same problem persists.
2. The interior cabin lamp is not working properly instead of replacement.
3. Screeching sound from the fan belt/timer belt when the car is started after a long duration.

The later 2 issue has been highlighted 2 times before but no resolution.And the A/C problem has cropped up over the last month.

I feel the Workshop is incapable to troubleshoot.Also I'm trying to contact the Customer service cell of their head office.

    There is practically no worthwhile service centre for FIAT PALIO cars in INDORE. The services are supposed to be looked after by TATA Motors, however the quality of work and availability of spares is PATHETIC.
    The car is an EXCELLENT piece of technology, however, you cannot even replace a lost petrol cap or bulb or windscreen wiper!!! It is highly unfair to sell such a car in any country, unless the product is displayed with a WARNING sign to say "Buy at OWN Risk - NO AFTER SALES SERVICES ARE GIVEN BY THE COMPANY ANYWHERE !!!"
    If FIAT PALIO is kind to reply to this mail, it will be a good gesture.

    after reading this article i have just cancelled my thought of buying new palio car

    If the FIAT PALIO was sold originally by a authorized dealer in Indore and if spares and repair facilities are not avalable, I would advise the gentleman to sue FIAT INDIA AUTOMOBILES in a consumer court.

    My FIAT PALIO ELX 1.2 2002 was serviced by SHAMAM Auto of Bombay upto 37, 500 kms and there was no problems with them. They were able to fix the front windshield plastic strip which had blown off and even the lock of the lid of petrol filler. Front disc brake pads and lower link arms were replaced after three years use. Then I shifted to Bangalore and Sunderam Motors serviced the car well. They even fixed the rear dicky tray lifting strings.
    Then I shifted to Calcutta. Wahan Motors serviced the car. They fitted the antenna which had broken
    and the dicky plastic shield - a refinement to prevent head injury when accessing the dicky. They replaced the engine timing belt before it was recommended by FIAT as a precaution against serious engine damage and the TDC sensor when I faced engine starting problem. The only problem was the coolant pump replacement as it was leaking. It took me a month and many calls to FIAT INDIA.

      Dear Sir

      14 th April

      I took my Fiat Palio to Him Motors, Udyog Nagar. New Delhi

      Informed Problem with the worn out reverse gear.

      15th April

      Him Motors sends a request to to Fiat for the spare part.

      I somehow manage Fiat's number as i knew the reputation and contacted myself.

      Mr Hemant Despande ([protected]), a senior informed me on the 17th April, the parts are being sent.

      The parts were sent on 18th as they were not able to generate the Invoice.

      I requested the courier company GATI to deliver it on Sunday they did so inspite being a holiday.

      19th April.

      Him Motor receives the parts and informs me wrong parts have been sent.

      Mr Despande asks me to get arrange for the photographs of the one taken out from the car.

      Him Motor takes 3 days to get the parts photographed. ( Searching For a photographer of Lakme fashion Week Fame)

      22nd April

      Him Motors again sends a request.

      I beg Mr Despande to please send it at once.

      26TH aPRIL.

      Parts from pune are shipped..

      27th April.

      Parts arrive at 1pm at Him Motors.

      Instead of Gear Fiat has sent the Shaft.

      A lovely car SCREWED by the people.

      I think this is the height of FUSTRATION.

      One more thing, Are the people in Fiat working for free?


      Mr Ratan Tata should call of the alliance if he cannot change the attitude of those in Fiat.He has a lot to pay post Jaguar/Land Rover.

        I Vinod Jhawar had purchased Fiat Palio on dtd 21/01/08 from dealer of Tata Motors, Kamal & Co. of Jaipur (India) & Reg no. of this car is RJ14-CE-6007.

        Since the same car was met with an accident just after one month and I submitted the same car at the

        above mentioned dealer's workshop on dtd 23/02/08 for accidental repair. but till date i don't know

        what is going on my car . till date company persons are unable to tell that when they will get parts for


        repairing the car, so many times I contact them but till date I did not get any positive reply that when

        i;ll get my car back. now it seems to me that i made a great mistake to purchase this car. At the time

        of purchasing this car I was told by company's sales person that Tata Motors has joint venture with the

        company Fiat Palio and Tata motors is looking after sales & service in india of this car .

        So pls help me and suggest me that what should i do, as now I don't want my car back as i loose confidence in Tata Motors and I want to purchase car of other company .

        I HAD PURCHASED THE ABOVE SAID CAR FROM A ONE MOTORS (RAMA ROAD).

        WE ARE A REGULAR CUSTOMERS OF A ONE MOTORS & USE TO BUY TATA CARS SAY ABOUT DOZENS A YEAR.

        WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE ON THE REPUTATION OF A ONE MOTORS & TATA MOTORS.

        BUT NOW WE THINK THAT WE HAD PURCHASED A “PROBLEM” ISATEAD OF A CAR.

        PLS NOTE THE PROBLEMS FACES BY ME BY THIS CAR & TELL ME THAT WHAT I SHOULD DO WITH THIS.

        AFTER THE PURSHACE

        1. REAR DOOR GLASS WAS BROKEN DUE TO VACUME IN THE CAR, NONE OF THE DEALER IN THE CITY & NCR WAS HAVING THE GALSS.

        I HAD TO ASK SOME BODY TO MAKE A CUTTING OF ACERLIC SHEET & THEN PAST IT ISATEAD OF GALSS. I SPENT Rs 3900.00 ON IT. JUST DUE TO NON AVAILAILITY OF THE PARTS WITH TATA DEALERS AFTER ONE MONTH OF THE LOUNCH.


        2. ON THE FIRST SERVICE ONLY MY DRIVER COMPLAINT ABOUT THE CLUTCH PROBLEM & AC PROBLEM, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN & WAS TOLD TO ME THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM IN THE CAR.


        3. MY FRIENDS TOOK MY CAR TO MASOORI, THE CAR WAS UNABLE TO RIDE THE SIMPLE HILLS OH MASOORI & THE RESULT THAT THE CLUTCH FAILS AT THE HILLS. HE ARRANGED A TAXI FROM THERE TO DELHI WHICH COST HIM ABOUT Rs 6000.00. I WAS FEELING SO GUILTY.
        NONE OF THE DEALED IN HARIDWAR, MASOORI WAS HAVING THE BRAEKDOWN SERVICES & THE PARTS WERE ALSO AVAILABLE .
        ATLAST I HAD TO TAKE MY VEHICLE TO HARIDWAR & GET MY CAR TOWED TILL DELHI TO A ONE MOTORS MATHURA ROAD.
        THERE 2 – 3 DAYS WAS TAKED TO REPLACE THE CLUTCH.

        4. AFTER THAT I HEARD AN UN USUAL SOUND, DOOR LOCKS NOT WORKING, THE CAR WAS NOT ABLE TO OPEN FROM INSIDE, REAR SEAT WAR NOT FOLDING IN THE CAR & SEND MY CAR FOR THIRD SERVICE AT A ONE MOTORS MATHURA ROAD, THEY KEPT MY CAR FOR ONE WEEK & WAS NOT ABLE TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM AT LAST. THEY AGAIN CHANGED THE CLUTCH THE NOW ALSO THE SEAT WIRE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

        5. SOON AFTER SOME DAYS / WEEEK MY CAR WAS STANDING ON A RED LIGHT AT FARIDABAD, MY DRIVER SWITCHES OFF ENGINE & WHEN HE TRIED TO START THE ENGINE, THE ENGINE FAILS TO START .
        I CONTACTED A ONE MOTORS MATHURA ROAD FOR A BRAKEDOWN SERVICE, BUT A NEGATIVE REPLY WAS GIVEN THAT THERE SERVICE VIHICLE IS IN WARKSHOP FROM LAST 2-3 DAYS, THEY GIVE ME THE NO OF A DEALER IN FARIDABAD BUT NO BODY PICKED UP THE PHONE.
        AT LAST I HAD TO GET MY VEHICLE TOWED MYSELF TO A ONE MOTORS MATHURA ROAD.
        MY CAR WAS KEPT FOR 3-4 DAYS, THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIGNOSE THE THOBLEM & FINALLY THEY CHANGED THE INJECTER OF THE CAR.
        ON THAT DAY WHEN I TOOK THE CAR FROM THE WORKSHOP DRIVING AFTER 10 KMS I FOUND THE TEMPRATURE METER WAS RISING UP, I CONTACTED THE MANAGER AT A ONE MOTORS THERE & TELL HIM THE PROBLEM, HE ASKED ME TO PARK THE VEHICLE ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD & TELL ME THAT HE IS SENDING A MECHANIC FOR THE SAME.
        COMING TO A DISTANCE OF 10 KMS, THE MECHANIC REACHES IN 4 HRS TO ME.
        HE DIGNOSED THE CAR & TOLD THAT A PART RELATED TO TEMPRATURE IS NOT WORKING & IS NOT AVAILABLE ALSO . SO NOT TO WORRY IF TEMPRATURE RISIS ITS ALL OK & CAN DRIVE THE CAR

        6. NOW ON[protected] I FOUND AN UN USUAL SOUND IN THE CAR & I THINK REAR SHOKERS ARE ALSO NOT WORKING & THE CAR IS MAKING NOISE ON 3 & 4 GEAR, I SEND MY VEHILCE TO A ONR MOTORS RAMA ROAD, THERE I GOT A REPLY NO PARTS HAVE BEEN SHIFTED TILL YET OF THE CAR, THE DIGNOSED THE CAR & TOLD ME THAT AGAING THE INJECTER OF THE CAR IS LEAKING & ONE OF THE CYLINDER IS ALSO NOT WORKING.

        AT LAST I CALLED MR SNAJEEV K GULATI (GM, A ONE MOTORS RAMA ROAD), THE TELL HIM THE DETAILS, HE TOLD TO SEND TRE CAR ON TUESDAY.

        SIR,
        PLEASE TELL ME WHAT TO DO, I HAD PURCHASED A TATA PRODUT & IN A RUNNING OF 30000 KMS
        1. THE CLUTCHED IS BEING REPLASED TWICE.
        2. INJECTER & NOT WORKING TWICE.
        3. AC NOT WARKING PROPERLY.
        4. SAT FITTING ARE NOT GOOD.
        5. DOOR HANDEL NOT WORKING PROPERLY
        6. ENGINE SOUNDING VERY BADLY.
        7. VIBRATION IN THE CAR
        8. THE CLUTCH IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY NOW ALSO.
        9. THE SUSPENTION IS LOOSEN
        10. REAR SHOKERS 7 NOT WORKING.

        1 . THIS WAS MY LAST VEHICLE FROM TATA, AFTER THAT I HAD NOT PURCHASED ANY CAR OF TATA TILL NOW.

        Service center fellows say they do not have the inventory of the same & it is yet to come for which they have already raised an order.
        Can i know who will be ultimately responsible for the delay.

        I’m another fiat owner, who regret to my soul that I bought a Fiat car; everything related to it is Painful and terrific.

        I bought Fiat Palio Stile SLX on July 11th from Preran Motors Bangalore.

        Sales, Support, Service and even the basic manners of people related to it is really horrible.

        Sales Experience I had with Prerana Motors, Agara Branch, Sarjapur Road Bangalore was the worst to start with.

        I requested for a 2008 Model and Made car and I was given a 2007 Made one.
        The Interest Rate promised and provided are different(word of trust not kept).
        At last I got my Car on the delivery day with long scratches(escalated the same and got it changed).
        On delivery nobody explained anything about the car nor a precaution required to drive technically, very little the guy who sold the car knew about the car.


        I am very good at giving my car for services regularly. I Care my Car(Nobody else). Since Prerana Motor’s Service Center is very far from my place, I preferred Green Tracks Auto Services (PVT) Ltd. Authorized service center for TATA FIAT. (8KM from my place)

        Another Painful Customer Service I received from:
        ‘Green Tracks Auto Services (PVT) LTD situated near Madivala on Housur Road.

        Right after the service the ignition error came up. The very same day went to them and had it fixed.
        It’s frequently popped up (4 times) and I kept on rectified it from Green Tracks (The service is not reliable at all) Thrice this was rectified by Babu from Green Tracks.

        Another Dissatisfying Experience occurred when I went to report the AC problem twice we had broght the car to the serice station for the Ac checkup since we felt the AC is not up to the mark...they said there is nothing wrong with it and second time luckly my husband stood near the car and got to know from the mechanic that there was one of the three plugs missing. Three plugs covered by a plastic shield, and nobody noticed it one of them is missing.

        The second service was done on 4th of October 2008, at Green Tracks and they gave my car back within 3-4 hours with the Bill of Rs.1416.00/- ( I am attaching the Bill for reference) The bill says the Coolant was replaced and Coolant hose clamp tightened….


        I belive, everything happned after the 2nd service...

        Last Saturday after a short drive of 20 kms I heard a strange noise from the car and it smelt of smoke or something burnt.
        I immediately stopped the car and opened the Bonnet to check where it was from, Found that the coolant and the related Hoses were very dry and burnt like.
        Immediately called Babu and informed the same. He wanted me to drive it to the Garage, while taking the car back to the them It made strange sounds whenever accelerated and the engine went off twice in between 10 kms.

        Babu, on checking my car, said “The Engine is Seized” Horrifying to me because my car is less than six months old. I could not believe that because a seized engine will not let us start the car and the reason that I guessed logically (as I am not technically sound with cars),

        The actual reason was : the coolant went dry and leaked which led the engine over heat.

        Now why/how it happened : I have driven my car more than 7500KM, and it just happened right after the 2nd service.

        Logically whom should be blamed for??? How it should’ve happned. I drive my car only on weekend and not more than 15-50 a week.

        I assume : They might have not filled the coolant or accidentally the hose got damaged. As they already mentioned some works at the service BILL. I doubt during this process, there should have had a disturbance to the Coolant. This may have led to the Hose leak Or Manufacturing defect in the hose that they changed during the second service.

        Please note THE ENGINE Heat/Temperature indicator never went above the middle level during any time during any of our journeys.

        I believe a service should include a check on everything in the car, though it is free(so called).
        We end up paying few thousands during our services.

        Shouldn’t they check and confirm every aspect of the car functioning properly.
        I am completely fed up with Tata Motors Service Stations and people involved from the Sales and support.

        I have spent my lifetime to buy this car and now it is a pain in my life, in terms of Service from you people.

        I’ve escalated this issue to TATA and hopefully they will fix it to my satisfaction.

        One serious Note : none of the service center mechanics and floor supervisors, knows very little about the car mechanism, no manners, never seems to understand our concern, I felt, all of them are unprofessionals.

        I have purchased Fiat Palio Style 1.3 DSL SD dated 9/1/2009 from Auto Industries Goa, Nuvem, Goa.
        My Car Registration No. is GA-08-E -7054, and Registration ID is 164031

        Complain No 1
        1) The music system provided by company with emblem of TATA, stopped working from the first day.
        the same was further repaired four times in next four months. At the time of fifth repair in the month of May, I was told by dealers mechanic that the system is beyond repairs.

        2) The fact was brought to the notice of dealer and email regarding the same was sent to Shri Balaji as per the request of the Manager.

        3) The reply was shocking. I was told that since the system was given as a gift the question of repairs or replacement does not arrise.

        4) In the delievery Challan No. CRN : CR01-08-[protected], Delivery note No. AuIndP-NM[protected]DLN dated 09/01/09 there is no such mention of any gift given to me

        Complain No. 2
        1)In your companies advertisement in daily news paper you had announced a milege of 26km/lit.

        2) In reality I found that it is less than 15km/lit.

        3) The fact was brought to the notice of the dealer.They were kind enough to provide me mechanic cum driver in the month of June 2009. It was found that per lit milege was 14km/lit.

        4) Since then I have been promised every week that the they would take up necessary repairs to improve the consumption to minimum 20km/lit. but no action has been taken till date.

        With this I request you to kindly look into the matter at the earliest or else I'll have no other option but to approach consumer forum to claim the losses.

        I have purchased a Fiat Palio SDX car on 8.5.2009 bearing Engine No: 0012639 chassis No: MCA 17888F08072795CQZ from R.F Motors(P) Ltd, Edappally, Kochi and the services are doing by the local authorized service centre, m/s. Kulathunkal Motors, Trivandrum. My car has done only 13, 100 kms.
        From the date of delivery, my car is having an abnormal sound while starting the A/C and the dust is scattering upwards from the engine room side. So I am very much disappointed about this problem. Also I am very much sorry to say that this problem has been informed to M/s. Kulathunkal motors several time and they have not taken any interest to rectify the same. Kindly look into the matter to rectify the difficulties affecting my vehicle. An early reply will be appreciated.

        Fiat Palio — servicing of car

        Respected Sir/Madam,
        I had given my Fiat palio 1.2 ELX for repairs to Sanya motors at Mayapuri, Delhi since there was coolant leakage leading to overheating of the car in march 2010. The car was repaired and they changed the cylinder head and various other parts including the belt . I was informed that the leakage will stop now and there shall be no overheating. I shifted to Pune in May and the same problem has resurfaced and the service staion at Wakad at Pune(BU Bhandari) was handed over the bill of the repairs at Delhi. They have informed that the leakage is from radiator and it needs to be changed. I am not sure of who is right and who has fleeced me but I expected some transparency and honesty from a brand owned by Tata. Please help.

        i have had my worst car buying at rama motors of okhla, new delhi. these guys tried to sell me a car which was driven for 850 kms in an auto expo after taking an advace of rs 1 lakh...i had to spend about 30 thousand rs extra in cancelling the bank loan and rearranging it again for an another dealer...though punto diesel is an excellent car, i strongly advice against rama motors of delhi..they are cheaters.. would have gone to consumer court against them if not for my busy schedule.

          I bought a Fiat Palio 1.2CC in 2002 with all the eagerness of owning a good car like any other consumer. The car has been always giving one or the other problems all throughout especially after warranty expiry and worsening as the car ages. Let me take you through each aspect of the frustration.

          I. Too many and frequent costly parts failure
          1. During the first year warranty period, Speedometer had a design defect which used to show less speed than actual speed driven. Fiat replaced the entire dashboard unit.
          2. During additional 2 year warranty (Fiat Advantage), following things failed. 1. Alternator, 3. Thermostat, 4. Thermistor, 5. Horn, 6. Central locking. After months of fighting, Fiat replaced.

          There have been much more failures which were attributed to wear and tear (so early!!) like Gear assembly and similar endless list of spares which are costly.

          II. Rusting:
          My woes intensified really much more by closure to 3 year wty completion and thereafter.

          1. Dickey door started rusting and the paints started bubbling. As usual after all the fighting, Fiat replaced the dickey door. Dickey door once again rusted, and they painted. Now again it has rusted, Fiat is not doing anything.
          2. Driver seat side door got rusted and a hole formed. Fiat did what some blacksmiths do to close the hole and painted. Now the rusting started again.
          3. Rusting started in the railing of the car which can be noticed on opening the door as the rusting formation is in the foot steps of the rail. Fiat is unable to address.
          4. Recently rusting started in a new spot and paints started bubbling similar to the dickey. Fiat is not doing anything for it.
          5. Few years ago, when my car was in stationery was hit by another vehicle in a minor incident. The damage in the front bonnet was very high (spent about Rs.30000). It was found the front bonnet metal body had rusted, that broke away which caused a major damage.
          6. Once my car abruptly stopped midway. It was found the clutch oil tube had rusted and leaked which I had to replace on my cost.
          7. There are some more rusting spots observed and Concorde has surveyed the car and given a report to Fiat but Fiat is sleeping on it.

          III. Paint quality
          1. Upon three year of car ageing, the ceiling/roof top paint has faded and look with a different color now. I have seen many Fiat cars like this. A phenomenon I have not seen in any other manufacturers’ car.
          2. Outer body paint started perforating and looks like the paints chipped or how minutely broken glasses mass glare. Concorde has surveyed the car and given a report to Fiat who is sleeping on it.

          III. Non guarantee on supplied parts.

          1. Fiat does not support quality of a replaced part. Fiat had replaced the central locking electronic assy immediately after Fiat advantage expiry for the complaint registered within warranty period. That part has been malfunctioning and Fiat refuses after dilly dallying for 2 years lying that they had not replaced. I have the proofs including the bank statement (Fiat’s agency reimburses for spares during Fiat Advantage period).

          IV. Non availability of spare parts.
          1. A plastic chrome plate inside the car is missing. Fiat had been blaming Concorde for not giving the part number (which was false), Fiat dodged for a year and still says no parts available and Concorde helped me putting a spare from Indica car!
          2. Every time a spare fails, it means your car has to be in the workshop for weeks due to non-availability of spare parts from Fiat. The service agencies order and follow up after follow up! Recently Fiat could not deliver a spare – power steering oil tube which I could buy even from outside.

          V. Service network.
          1. Service network has been a perennial problem. You have to always take the car from one end of the city to anther end every time. And poor network outside the major cities. Luckily, you can depend on Sundaram Motors network that comes to your rescue.

          VI. Irresponsive service and never care attitude from Fiat’s employees.

          1. Fiat is lethargic on complaints. 1. They do not respond to mails – you need to provoke them to get them respond. 2. They take too much time and blame the service centers like Concorde for no faults from Concorde. 3. Despite all cries, they never even want to speak to you. Totally contrasting attitude compared to Maruti’s service I have been hearing.

          Am I the only one to complain? No. Same are the stories of many of my colleagues who bought Fiat Palio whent here was no similar alternative cars in the market.

          I am not much concerned if Fiat solves these issues now or not. But, until they notice and give attention / service, I am going to publish endlessly this story website after website and mass mailers. Consumers should not be taken for granted. I can afford to buy car >4 times of price of Fiat Palio.

          fist car failed on 1435 KM on that time we put our complain regarding defect of car and ask replacement than told us from R D motors this time you drive car if any problem or same problem arise than we look in this matter and replace car but you can check in your recored officially or non officially how many times car go to R D Motors and we asking replace ment all time given verble commitment.           during these years probabaly you got half the parts of car repalced? whereas FIAT parts are imported and costly...

          I’m another fiat owner, who regret to my soul that I bought a Fiat car; everything related to it is Painful and terrific.

          I bought Fiat Palio Stile SLX on July 11th from Preran Motors Bangalore.

          Sales, Support, Service and even the basic manners of people related to it is really horrible.

          Sales Experience I had with Prerana Motors, Agara Branch, Sarjapur Road Bangalore was the worst to start with.

          I requested for a 2008 Model and Made car and I was given a 2007 Made one.
          The Interest Rate promised and provided are different(word of trust not kept).
          At last I got my Car on the delivery day with long scratches(escalated the same and got it changed).
          On delivery nobody explained anything about the car nor a precaution required to drive technically, very little the guy who sold the car knew about the car.


          I am very good at giving my car for services regularly. I Care my Car(Nobody else). Since Prerana Motor’s Service Center is very far from my place, I preferred Green Tracks Auto Services (PVT) Ltd. Authorized service center for TATA FIAT. (8KM from my place)

          Another Painful Customer Service I received from:
          ‘Green Tracks Auto Services (PVT) LTD situated near Madivala on Housur Road.

          Right after the service the ignition error came up. The very same day went to them and had it fixed.
          It’s frequently popped up (4 times) and I kept on rectified it from Green Tracks (The service is not reliable at all) Thrice this was rectified by Babu from Green Tracks.

          Another Dissatisfying Experience occurred when I went to report the AC problem twice we had broght the car to the serice station for the Ac checkup since we felt the AC is not up to the mark...they said there is nothing wrong with it and second time luckly my husband stood near the car and got to know from the mechanic that there was one of the three plugs missing. Three plugs covered by a plastic shield, and nobody noticed it one of them is missing.

          The second service was done on 4th of October 2008, at Green Tracks and they gave my car back within 3-4 hours with the Bill of Rs.1416.00/- ( I am attaching the Bill for reference) The bill says the Coolant was replaced and Coolant hose clamp tightened….


          I belive, everything happned after the 2nd service...

          Last Saturday after a short drive of 20 kms I heard a strange noise from the car and it smelt of smoke or something burnt.
          I immediately stopped the car and opened the Bonnet to check where it was from, Found that the coolant and the related Hoses were very dry and burnt like.
          Immediately called Babu and informed the same. He wanted me to drive it to the Garage, while taking the car back to the them It made strange sounds whenever accelerated and the engine went off twice in between 10 kms.

          Babu, on checking my car, said “The Engine is Seized” Horrifying to me because my car is less than six months old. I could not believe that because a seized engine will not let us start the car and the reason that I guessed logically (as I am not technically sound with cars),

          The actual reason was : the coolant went dry and leaked which led the engine over heat.

          Now why/how it happened : I have driven my car more than 7500KM, and it just happened right after the 2nd service.

          Logically whom should be blamed for??? How it should’ve happned. I drive my car only on weekend and not more than 15-50 a week.

          I assume : They might have not filled the coolant or accidentally the hose got damaged. As they already mentioned some works at the service BILL. I doubt during this process, there should have had a disturbance to the Coolant. This may have led to the Hose leak Or Manufacturing defect in the hose that they changed during the second service.

          Please note THE ENGINE Heat/Temperature indicator never went above the middle level during any time during any of our journeys.

          I believe a service should include a check on everything in the car, though it is free(so called).
          We end up paying few thousands during our services.

          Shouldn’t they check and confirm every aspect of the car functioning properly.
          I am completely fed up with Tata Motors Service Stations and people involved from the Sales and support.

          I have spent my lifetime to buy this car and now it is a pain in my life, in terms of Service.

          I’ve escalated this issue to TATA and hopefully they will fix it to my satisfaction.

          One serious Note : none of the service center mechanics and floor supervisors, knows very little about the car mechanism, no manners, never seems to understand our concern, I felt all of them are unprofessionals.

          I bought one Fiat Palio Stile SDX model in sept2008 and this was my biggest mistake of my life. Can u believe that Hind Motors Chandigarh an authorised service provider of Fiat Palio does not have Diesel filter in thier stock. I went to the Hind Motors Chandigarh yesterday to get my car serviced third time and the service advisor gave me an estimate of Rs 2800/- for the same. After that i got a call from Hind Motors that ur is car ready and u can teke ur car. I went there and i was surprised to see the bill of my car. It was only for Rs.1420/-. When i asked about the same they simply told me that we dont have the Diesel filter in our stock and we have changed the engine oil only. We will call u soon once we get the filter in our stock.

          I would like to ask TATA and Fiat that i[censored] cannot keep the stock for the most common part of the car in ur stock why u r selling ur product in the market. And i[censored] dont hv the stock why u r attending the sevice calls o[censored]r car.

          I would also like to tell all my friend who are reading my complaint that pls dont go for FIAT products ever. Even all of my friends suggested me to not to buy this car but still i dont know why i did this mistake.

          My first car that i got was a fiat palio sport in 2002 1.2 ... i used for a bout a year, then my brother who turned 18 took over as i upgraded to a sonata, then later my wife started driving it in 2005 . Trust me guys i still have the car with me i have just redone the paint once and the suspension thrice, otherwise basic maintaince/... as on today its a aao jaao ghar tumara car driven by just about any body in the friend circle. iam quite happy with the car,

          i got my second hand fiat palio DL 9CG 3990 painted on the outer only after dent work at Rama motors, okhla new delhi, but they charged me 30000/- where as he had quoted only 23000/- in the begining.

          i was`not shown the companys approved service charges...

          i felt poorly treated by the staff at the end.
          Overall car is excellent for the price and build quality. We need to take care of regular service. Even i have faced few problems with that point in time i realised OWNERS WILL ONLY REALISE WHY THEY BOUGHT FIAT WHEN IT IS BROKE DOWN !!!

          21KM run and clutch gone, 6K is the cost for replacement.

          i agree with some complaints but in general fiat palio stile slx ( which i own ) is a good car but little bit underpowered, meant for highways not for rough hilly roads( as in j&k state). The problem i am facing is, the fuel injection system indicator on the dash board after every[protected] km, which after rectifying, appears again and agian.
          In continuation of my earlier comments, I would like to share my present state of afairs that now I wish to change my palio slx( petrol ) with new palio diesel 1.3 multijet. Kindly, advise me in this dilema, though, a number of choices are coming up in diesel versions in 2010. Petrol versions being less economical for mileage per litre. What about the services and spares availability for palio diesel.

          I purchased a fiat punto car (on 31/08/2009, No. KL 01 AW1166) from your dealer Kulathinkal motors, Trivandrum. Moreover, I experienced an assortment of dilemma from that firm, as follows.
          1) Committed effects were not made available.
          2) Underprivileged quality of accessories were provided (other than promised).
          3) After sales behaviour was truly disappointing.
          4) When ever I make an enquiry about the inconvenience of your vehicle and its components, they minimally blame your company(may be its true, to my best experiences).
          4) Even my privilege, as a government employee (for a markdown of Rs. 9000/-) was secreted from me and I was prearranged only Rs. 6000/-(This is a grave mater & absolute fraud by your dealer (which was revealed from reliable sources)).           I have bought Palio stile SDX in September 2009 and drove for 8500km and i was noticed that front side two tyres inside portion completely ruptured ( tyre threads are visible) srprising was that i have given for second free service at 7500km only afer that i drove 100km left me with the bad experience like loud tyre noise. I have given complaint to Tata jasper Vijayawada but response was very poor. today they called me and informed that only one tyre going to be replaced out two damaged. One can understand that Fiat vehicles run with three wheels only unlike all company vehicles run only with four wheels. Thia is the greatness of Fiat vehicles. I suggest all to not go for Fiat vehicles as the service is very very very poor. I hope you are understanding my grievance!!!

          Post my last conversation with you, I am once again requesting you to kindly intervene and sort out my concerns. Inspite of the car being at the service station continuously for over 45 DAYS !!, it is still in the same pathetic condition. Infact at your behest I even waited for your valuation for the exchange but you can imagine my consternation when the car, just 4 months old gets valued by your Dept at Rs.2 Lac !!! 2 Lacs for the car for which I have shelled out 5.5Lacs in November..!!! This is when I have request you NOT TO CHANGE OR REPLACE. (the defective car you sold me in the first place!!!) BUT TO BUY BACK THE CAR and let me pay the difference for a linea??? You are not buying it, and not letting me sell it either...!!! What kind of Sales / Customer is this???
          The car now has issues with the RPM (its over 2500 in IDLE mode), so I cannot get a Pollution Certificate, The AC tank, since the time GOLDRUSH palmed and fooled me into buying the car, is still leaking copious amounts of Water inside and outside, The "FACTORY INSTALLED" decks, FM is still not working. Its been over 65 Days since Ive been waiting for the water tank for the Vipers to appear but still its "supposedly" out of stock.
          WHAT ??, JUST WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ME DO NOW ??? Now I actually am understanding why people lose hope with life and humanity and commit suicide...ITS IS BECAUSE THE PATHETIC AND NO GOOD PEOPLE FORCE them to...

          I am really at a loss to decide where to begin, Hence I should start at the very beginning. The first Qs. that I have is whether in today’s monetary world, even under the most underestimated conditions, has a sum of Rupees Five Lac’s (5, 50, 000/-) lost value?? I mean is it just peanuts? If it is, then please do not proceed to read further………………You cannot and will not be able to help me out...!!


          My father bought his first Fiat way back in the late Sixties, Iv actually and literally grown up on it. Gradually with more options, better variants and cut-throat competition, Fiat ceased to be a name to reckon with. And now after a long hiatus, FIAT has resurfaced, albeit taken birth under the unfortunate star of the TATA stable.

          It was after a lot of deliberation and consternation's that I decided to opt for FIAT, now I really wish I would have taken a MARUTI 800 rather….even if people would have laughed at me…..at least I would have saved my sanity !!



          I reached your GoldRush Distributer Fiazabad Road(Near HAL) sometime in October ‘09. Spoke to them about the various model available (As usual, initially I was very heartily coaxed to move to the TATA models, namely MANZA ) but I did not relent. I steadfastly refused everything and finally the Grande Punto was the car I liked. Unfortunately there was a shortage, I even requested them to arrange the model I wanted in a month, but they told me that even that was not guaranteed so finally I was forced to reconsider. Out of the available cars, the Linea was the next one but my parking space did not allow me the space for another sedan. So finally I took a test drive for the PALIO Stile. The car was good, although not in the league of the Punto or Linea but still the same Multijet Engine could be felt beneath the hood. The car atleast passed muster. I opted for it. Once again I was told that the models are not available and it would take some time before it was delivered however there was one model ( while color) that was standing in their yard that was available for immediate delivery. I was a little surprised but still went along to see it. The car was dirty, the seats were soiled but they promised me that they would change the seats and once washed, the car would be brand new after all!! Once again I was fooled, after all why would a distributor want to screw up a buyers life…??? Right?? Wrong…..The car was delivered, with the same patchy seats and I was given an explanation that no other Palios were available so the change of seats wasn’t possible….Neways I am not a man to press charges for dirty seats so I forced myself into contentment. While the sales pitch was being made, the seller let drop a vital point, He mentioned that the car had actually been called for another buyer who in the end just decided to go for the Punto hence this was left behind, and the reason it was so dirty was because it was in the yard from the past Six months.





          However, since the car posed no immediate concerns I took it. I travel a lot and since this was a new variant from the Multijet Section, I took it with me. I traversed a lot in the northern region, Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab Etc. and the car behaved just as expected, averaging over 27 !!! It was in December after the first service, that I began to realize something was amiss…The average went below 15 !!! And My clothes, as in my Jeans and trousers started showing stains on my Left foot, especially below the knee – careful search revealed that some kind of oil was being discharged from the car just below the dash on the left side and hence the Oil was spilling on my clothes, Nonetheless, I immediately took the car to the nearest FIAT / TATA showroom. Imagine my surprise when not one, not two but three centres – Chandigarh (on the Patiala – Chdh Highway), New Delhi (South Ex) & Noida (Sector 2 or 3 I don’t remember which!!) outright refused to take in my car !! Just stating that the spare parts were not available and that I should take it back to the place I bought it for proper repairs..!! Can you actually believe this …???!! This Audacity from your own service centres??? Infact at at all these places I was made to look like a fool. They actually “jeered” at me..- asking me what in the wide world had made me opt for a FIAT, least of all a PALIO?? They kept telling me it had no resale value, and even when I argued that the SWIFT and almost all other successful models in the market today sported the same engine, they still said that FIAT engines in Fiat were not something that was going to sell and this was mainly due to the fact that TATA after all would make sure and market its own cars over the FIAT….no matter what the JV was all about.

          Disheartened, disillusioned I started back to Lucknow. Midway someplace the oil problem escalated…( I got to know later that it was from the Hydaulic gear / brake section) And I realized the true nature of the life risking predicament I was put into. The gear / Clutch jammed and at 90 kmph, I was forced to get off the road and stop the car using the HAND BRAKE. You can surely visualize the scene I hope.!!

          Any way somehow I got back to lucknow, diving at speeds of 25- 30 kmph, and handed over the car to the service station. They had one look at and asked me if it was the same car that was left in the yard for the past 6 moths, and when I replied in the affirmative, they exchanged knowing smiles….Now I wonder why…?? I told them the problem and they assured me that it would be looked into, when asked for a timeline they very categorically refused. Finally after running after them morn/noon and night, they finally gave my car back to me after 9 days !!! NINE DAYS to change the oil tank leakage and repairs. When I collected my car, (my seat covers are cream colored ones) the car was black inside. The workers had wiped their hands on it and the interiors looked as if the CAR HAD BEEN BEEN RAPED…short of inside they had done everything to it. Eaten peanuts, left shells inside, left the wiring open at most places, the Deck was half inside, (I could pull it out!!) chapatti and pickle pieces were below the seats.!!!

          TELL ME, WHICH SERVICE CENTRE AFTER KEEPING THE CAR FOR OVER 9 days RETURNS IT IN SUCH A HORRIFIC STATE ??? When I asked them about the condition they said “sorry” not that we would clean it, not that we ought to not dirtied it…but “sorry”….we’re helpless”….I said fine…what’s done is over with. And I took the car, fuming and ranting inside….called up the help lines and escalated the case to the higher authorities in Lucknow…but this was not the end, before they could apologize, or clean up my car, I realized that the oil problem had once again started, it was once again dripping copious amounts of oil and not just that ….now even the AC was leaking water inside…when I tried to reach out to the water source below the dash, I realized that the tank holding the water was already ruptured and had been taped / fixed with some kind of liquidized / molten rubber…!!! And this was done obviously before I took ownership of the car…..

          For the deck they told me that since I had it installed from the market, it was not a perfect fit…( the deck is the one given by your company – preinstalled….no amount of convincing made them believe that…!!!)



          I once again took it back and this time they assured me that problems would be sorted out …another week passed….and still I bore all of it with patience that even my family was surprised with. Finally I got the car…..cleaned up …..the deck still out of place…the FM still disconnected but atleast the oil problem seemingly sorted. I just took the car and left, and 2 days alter after filling up the tank….started for Delhi….Barely 40 km before Barielly, I felt water once again trickling down my trousers and stopped the car at the nearest “dhaba” as I was worried that the oil might just follow it next, and this time I did not wish to risk my life again….while I waited and had breakfast, and the car kept dripping water as if there was no tomorrow, a GOD-FORSAKEN BLIND TRUCK DRIVER, very casually backed into my Car, crushing it from the left side…(not that this has anything to do with my earlier concerns…the car went for claims…and the estimate is over 70K of whatever my share comes to…I am happy to bear..!! )

          Well this was on the 3rd of March…and at 2 o’clock in the afternoon I handed over the car to the service station.

          TILL DATE, except the promise of deliver within a week, nothing has materialized…..

          Now pray tell me…

          Why Why Why should I put up with all this nonsense, , , , ….???? What sins have I committed in opting for a car from a Company that still has people who swear by its make?? What have I done to deserve this treatment from your service station???

          Why is it that they keep telling me that my CAR the FIAT PALIO is a fu$# all vehicle that is going to cause to nothing but problems in the future?? Whys is it that when I asked them for an estimate for resale that they tell me that I would not even get half my price???(this too after just 2 months of purchase???) Why Why Why???



          If the car parts are not available, if the car has inbuilt faults, if it was a defective piece, if I have been conned in taking up a rejected vehicle, IF the resale is not there, or if if this is just not the car that was to be sold in the first place, or if TATA is not competent enough to service Fiat...…….I DO NOT CARE…….If this is what I have to go through every time I have a concern….THEN SORRY BOSS..IVE HAD IT NOW…



          “I DO NOT WANT THIS CAR….”

          I have enough people in GOLDRUSH who would vouchsafe for the problems I’m facing for the past 3 months. And now I am left with just 2 solutions…

          Either :

          #1. You take back the car and REFUND MY ENTIRE AMOUNT ….

          Or

          #2. You take this car back, refund the money and let me take a higher value vehicle from FIAT…I am willing to shell out extra for the Punto or the LINEA but I have had it now with this CAR.

          I hope you would appreciate the time and patience I have put in this endeavor and also the fact that till date I have approached all and sundry for putting me out of misery…



          Incase my concerns are not sorted out, unfortunately, I would be left with no options but to approach the Indian Legal system for a redressal for my aggrieved state of mind and body and also file suits against FIAT MOTORS for endangering human Life by repeatedly providing substandard services and products.



          Looking forward to an early resolution of my concerns.

          The Fiat Palio and the Range of its recent products are CERTAINLY FASCINATING.. I too fell in the PITCHER TRAP though many adviced not to go for it when I knowingly went on to buy a second hand FIAT PALIO. They absolutely do not respond to any complaints once the product is yours. They are supplying the spares for brand new PUNTO?!?! and LINEA !? !? and so on but not for the five odd year old PALIO and the like.. Pathetic.!!! In fact I have received assurance of spares availibility for the PALIO and it is still in my mailbox. There is a damn CEO corner in the official site of FIAT_INDIA dot com where one can post a complaint. But if the complaint is about the above subject, then expect a silence as its replay... The company is virtually lending deaf ears to the hapless victims of its beauty product. But I shall still repeat the first sentence.. The Fiat Palio and the Range of its recent products are CERTAINLY FASCINATING.. As one victim has rightly said... "Buy at your own risk"

          My car concked off and I am suffering today as the cost of repairs is too high. It would have been lot less if the Advisor at ASL had taken my problem seriously and acted promptly I would not have to suffer so much. I feel that this is a serious issue and needs to be addressed on priority. Fiat sales guys make all sort of false promises while selling the car but after the car is sold we are treated like animals and we fall in trap of these advisors and incur heavy loss. I have always been misguided by fiat guys and am paying a huge price for my love with Fiat cars. How is it possible that all sorts of problems started to occur immediately after my warranty expires? Your guys don’t attend to me when I take my car for servicing and then these problems occur. If this is the standard of after sales service then you can well understand the future of Fiat Cars in India.

          hey guys i own a fiat palio 2002 model but after the first 3 services i never went to fiat dealers ... for service or spare parts but opted a very simple option ... whenever i found any problem or a regular service i go to a local mechanic and he always fix it, i have to pay less as compare to fiat service stations, he even arranges spare parts with lesser price as compare to the showroom price .. from last 8 years i am very happy with my car

          I am owning Fiat Palio 1.2 ELX NV, bought in 2006. I regret buying this car. The dickey door has started rusting. The rear door has rusted. I try to contact TAFE REACH, Chennai and FIAT, no one responses. Pathetic response and service. The FIAT people are not bothered at all about their customers. No wonder FIAT sales are reducing.
          I feel the material / treatment used in these cars are below standard.
          I would suggest to all of you there never to buy a FIAT car. The car may look good and may perform good, but the problems starts after 3 years when the extended warranty fiinishes.

          Hope who ever reads this listens to me.

          FIAT Grande Punto — MANUFACTURING DEFECT OF ROOF

          I purchased a Fiat grand punto on 31st March 2011, after few months we realised there was problem with the roof and if a 2kg weight was placed over it , It bends and has to be pushed from inside. We informed the matter but no action was taken. They said something will be done when the car comes for sevicing. But during service they said they will not be able to solve the problem. What should we do. Even If puppy sits over, it bends.

            This is the copy of mail have written to TATA motors.

            I have or actually had a car, Fiat Palio Car (1.6 GTX) number DL3CV-2675. One and half months back it developed a snag on road and I immediately stopped the car there and by pushing it I took it side on the road. I called up my 24 hrs help line and they came and told me that timing belt is broken. I checked on internet then and there, I found Gurgaon car scanners in the list. I spoke on the number given and was told that they are authorised agency for servicing Fiat vehciles. They even offered me towning facility to till the service station. But thanks to my insurance company, they offered me free towing and towed that vehcile to "Gurgaon Car Scanners".

            It was then when my nightmare started, vehcile was immediately attended to and was told that by evening they would give me the vechile. They gave me service sheet. After that nothing has been good till today.

            They gave me vehcile after 10 days and told that this is allright. They billed me Rs. 7800/-(APX), I took a test drive and paid the amount. Only after 10-15 kms the vehcile started heating and sound from engine started coming, I was shocked, I pushed the vehciles side and called up Rohtas of Gurgain Car scanners, he told me to drive the vehcile and bring it tomorrow morning. I asked him if this would be a problem, he told that no, it would not be a problem. So I took the vehcile home and next morning I again brought back the vehicle to "Guragaon car scanners".

            For over month, they kept giving me vague excuses daily and tell me to keep my cool. I regularly told them that please let me know if they are authorised for servicing FIAT, they told me sir all TATA agencies are authorised to service FIAT. I betterd that nobody is trained to attend that vehcile. Even in front of me nobody was able to attend that vehcile with confidence, all mechanics showed ignorance and commented to Rohtas "Dekhna Padega, maloom nahi kya hai, kuch hua hoga" . Then and there I knew that nobody is aware of the mechanism in this car. I asked again and again " Do you have experinced mechanic to attend my car?" answer was, "are sir aap kya baat kar rahe hain, hamare pass sab trained hain".

            After that they never called me up, I kept calling, sometimes phone went unanswered, sometime Rohtas picked up the phone and started giving excuses. I regulalry told them that I commute from Dwarka to Gurgaon, I face difficulty asking for lift and through other mode, they kept laughing and were not even sympathetic. I kept begging for lifts.

            As discussed with you few days back, you had told me that they are NOT AUTHORISED TO SERVICE FIAT and my fear that they do not have mechanics came true . I was totally shocked at this new development. I was totally at loss of words. ised me to speak to Mr. Sumit owner of Gurgaon Car scanners, I spoke to him, he listen to me pateintly and told me that he was sorry for all the horrific things that have happened to me. He was apologitic. He told me that not to worry, he will take care and get the vehicle repaired and has requested me not to write to you. I thought ok let's give it a try. After 4 days and again many follow ups I got a call that vehicle has been repaired. They came with vehcile and gave me bill of Rs. 37500/- appx. They told me that they have repaired the vehicle and whole engine has been overhauled.

            I have also contracted many mechanics and they have told me that it does not required whole engine overhaul, maximum the valve is bent and it hardly costs 10-12th rupees. I am at loss of words, the care which is valuing not more than 1 Lac, they have spent so much money without even asking me and are asking me to pay money for no fault of mine. They repaired the vehicle in first place without having proper workmanship and because of that vehicle developed snag again.

            They have misused your good office to get business and am sure that all of thier mechanics have learned and practiced on my car. They have done more damage to my car, they have opened engine and done (learned) things.

            Belive me I do not write long mails, and this is shortest version that I could have written of all the harrasment I went through.

            I seek your help in getting my car and also seek legal/disciplinary action from your side on "GURGAON CAR SCANNERS"

            I am also filing copy of this email to following:

            1. Fiat India Pvt. Ltd
            2. Tata motors head office

            I have already consulted an advocate and am planning to go to consumer court and seek compensation over 2 Lacs and damage charges against this service center for deficenicy in service and mental harrsment due to them. I also properly plan to go to media to show up the negligence on service center's part.

            Seek you help in getting justice.

            My Car’s blower and left side power window is not working properly since the inception of my purchase. At my first servicing I got that issue resolved at Raipur dealer point. However this problem arised again within weeks time. National garage at Bhilai, from where I have purchased the car refused to give service any more with the reason that their dealership does not exist anymore. However they are selling other TATA cars. They suggested me to go to Raipur center, which is 45 km away from my home. I am a bank employee working in HDFC bank and I cannot take leave just to get the servicing. I cannot take leave or otherwise I may loose my job. Even once or twice leave can be taken but for every time of servicing or any other requirement of car. At the time of getting the car sold, they assured me that I will not suffer any problem in getting the spare parts and servicing of car, as everything is available and it will be serviced at Bhilai itself. If required my car will be sent to Raipur to get it serviced. Even a boy will be sent who will take the car from my home and after getting it serviced they will deliver the car at my home .At the time of my first servicing I sent my car to Raipur dealer point at my cost after their denial of servicing at Bhilai dealer point. I never knew this kind of pathetic condition would arise to me. However I agreed to bear the cost of petrol. You concerned people can understand and that why I have got done only servicing of my car till date .If I had known that I would suffer this problem then I wouldn’t have purchased it. Nobody is helping me in this regard rather the service personnel of TATA motors and others are criticising my step of purchasing it. Everybody suggested not purchasing it due to service problem existing earlier. But I proceeded trusting the brand TATA and people of organization that I would not suffer from service problem. I am 26 yr old middle class guy earning 15000/ per month and purchased this car at my own risk. I have financed it through TATA FINANCE. This is a serious issue to me, as I don’t want to regret of the fact that I made a mistake purchasing this car ‘fiat palio”. I don’t have the capacity to bear this kind of loss.

            These days unless you are knowledgeable about cars, you will be taken for a good ride by dealers. You will never get a replacement car from FIAT for your car with leaking coolant UNLESS you go to the State ConsumerRedrassal Forum. and once there you will go to the National Forum and even the supreme court. in the end.

            Learn this from me - dealers loose all interest once they have sold you the car.. For free repairs during warranty which possibly is applicable in your case, dealers get very little. The maker - FIAT does not make money by giving you free parts. So once the warranty gets over they make you pay through your nose. you could end up in a LOOSE LOOSE position

            The trick is to beat both the maker and the dealer by ;

            1.. Not buy any car - use public transport and radio taxi when necessary

            2. New cars come with electronic engine management ystem which no neighbourhood mechanic
            can fix. Buy a a good used car which has no electrincs. The friendly neighbourhood mechanic
            will be able to fix everything in these cars. . On the average he is more hardworking and
            honest and doesn't dream of big bucks but don't bargain with him for a good job.

            3. The good old Amby will go on and on whilst HONDAS, HYUNDAIS, FIATS fall by the wayside.

            Fiat should be banned in India unless the Company guarantee to ensure prompt after sales service. Their present arrangement with TATA Motors to service palio cars is pathetic, and a dis-service to fiat customers. I have had several bad experiences with TATA Motors for service of my Palio. Spare parts are costly, and still worse, not readily available. Even vipers were not available for months. The mechanics are not properly trained on fiat cars, and they seem to learn on helpless customers. Joseph Purathur (Nadiad/Gujarat)

              Repairing of Car and settlement of Insurance claim

              The Vivek Automobiles Ltd., MD:Mr. Vivek Nanda, Mani, Gandhi, Shrivastave, Bhardwaj etc are responsible cheaters.

              The claim settlement team manager Mr. Mukesh Arora of ICICI Lombard, NOIDA with surveyor ........ (Name I forget) are also cheaters.

              The two years old car has lost its market value (due to said bad dealers appointed by the Fiat company) and I requested claim team to settle total loss as the car was badly damaged due to severe accident which they turned down with the saying the repair will be got done and car will be made to just new.

              They made a bill of 2.0 lacs in the name of re-building car to new and paid the claim amount to company. They put 70000/= on me to get the car from the dealer. They didn't provide any bill, details of approvals except payment receipts and initial estimate for filing claim.

              I wrote to ICICI Lombard too, but no care and action.

              They have put several damaged & old things back to car. Their men replaced the clutch and power steering and several other parts too. After charging so much and giving assurance they have failed to make car like new and the same has lost more value.

              The car could not be made new at all.

              Surprisingly, they paid the cheque to Vivek Automobile without my verification and approval of the work, as I was out of India from Nov to Jan.

              They also demanded storage charges and didn't returned any of old parts.

              While dealing with Vivek Automobiles and ICICI Lombard claim team everyone must be careful and fight for return value for money.

              Also, when I bought this car from them, has a pick up problem, They always said that this is the speciality of Fiat Company and couldn't remove the defects.

              Thanks to Nawab Motors, A Tata dealer, who on servicing and setting of repaired car found that some sensers are defective and they changed them. The car got a best fuel efficiency and pickup.

              The car was parked at my house, as was not properly repaired. The nawab Motors made it runable on the roads. Now, I also got fitted LPG and driving has become more pleasure just half of the cost of petrol.

              Advises from everyone on this complaint is most welcome.
