I bought a Honda DIO scooter last year which was delivered to me on 13/9/2011.the free services were done on 6/10/10, 6/1/11, 6/4/11, 6/7/11 and first paid service was on 12/10/11. on31/10/11 afternoon, the 'self start' of vehicle was not working. so i kicked started It and took to the service centre(marikar motors,mg road,honda division,statue, trivandrum)and they said that battery should be replaced. Just after completing 1 year, battery had to be replaced. As battery was out of stock at the service centre, we went to the battery shop and got it replaced. During changing, we noticed that the battery was that of exide while in the papers given to us during delivery ,battery type was recorded as Amco. No battrey number was given.. we have all copies of the papers and i request you to look into the matter.I bought the scooter as i trusted the company which became doubtful after this incident.. We have with us the old battery and all the papers of the vehicle. The losess may also be compensated.Expecting reply soon.......
