Dear Ramdev,

Sorry to bother you, but I have left with no other option other than keeping you informed about the shabby service provided by your service center in Tumkur Road.
Hope you would help me unlike others whom I have interacted with.

I have bought a new Verna CRDI (KA 02 ME 510) in the month of Dec 2009 & I have been facing some or the other issues when it comes to servicing the car.

First issue: You would definelty agree to me that I have every right to know & it’s the duty of the service person or so called manager to assist with the questions that I would ask them pertaining to my car.
I was surprised the way he attended to us( I think his name was Mr. Bannejee). He was too rude to my dad, who had gone to collect the car on my behalf when we had some concerns related to service.
I understand that he may be a busy person & he has his own commitments but there is a way one needs to communicate to his customers. If he is busy he should direct it somebody who is responsible enough. I am sorry to inform him that because of customers like us he is kept busy else he will not have any job to do there.
The way he handled the entire conversation was very unethical. Although & he was apologetic about his behavior later, I dint escalate this matter then.

Second issue: When I gave my car for last free servicing, I was surprised to see that the car was just watered on top & no cleaning was done. You will be surprised to know that I had paid a Rs.900 for interior cleaning(which is am aware I need to pay, as this is not the part of free servicing) but to my surprise basic body wash was not done which is very much a part of whatever servicing you do. When enquired, I was informed that body wash was not a part of free service. You charge a whooping Rs.900 + other charges, please do not tell that you would not do a basic body washing of the car. After some arguments finally with the help of Mr. Kulkarni (service RM I suppose) I got the wash done. I did not want to raise the issue at that time also as I felt this was not that serious.

Third Issue: On 23rd Nov, I found out that there was some creaking noise from the engine cabinet & the very next day I came to the same service station unfortunately(I stay in Peenya & this is the station which is near to me). I was attended by Mr.Girish & he confirmed that there was indeed some noise & he would want to completely chk before delivering the car. I dropped the car on 24th & I got a call from Mr.Girish that there was some problem in the alternate & this had to be replaced for which he had to order the spare part from Chennai & that would take 3 days. I was fine with that as I wanted my car fit & fine. There was no response from Girish till I called him back on Sunday afternoon to find the status of my car, Girish confirms that there was no replacement done but the problem is rectified now, he just replaced some brush & there is no more sound for which I had visited this service centre.
My question to you is, if there was no replacement done, why did you keep the car for 4 days & why the hell i should get back to you guys? Is it not the duty of the service RM to call me back?
Please remove all those jazzy hording & banners kept in your service centre when you don’t live up to it.

I took the delivery of the car on Sunday afternoon & I agree that I did not hear the noise which I complained but again to my bad luck today morning I get to hear the same noise once again & believe me, I am frustrated to the core with the whole issue.

I finally decided not to visit this shabby centre any more. I called one of my friend & discussed this issue, he was also of the same opinion that after sale the service is very bad in Hyundai. I am cc’ng him in the mail if you don’t believe me.

To add a few more complaints
- I found out that there is a leakage in Dry boot shaft(not sure what you say) this is below the front wheel in driver’s seat & if driven without repairing, entire assembly has to be changed. Do you think that I should be knowing all these or is this the responsibility of the service engineer.
- They have replaced the engine cover bolts of my car with some old bolts( you can get in touch with Mr.Rajesh from Advait hyundai(queen’s road) who replaced it now).
Want to know, who has given you guys this right & what all have you changed without my notice Is my biggest concern?

I can go on & on with the issues but I see this as no end.

Believe me, the whole experience with dealing you has left a very bad opinion about you guys & I am very sure that you will still continue to do this sort of creepy work after going thru this mail. I just wanted to keep you informed with what is going on in your service centre’s. I also deal with a lot of clients & I knw what cm service is. Moreover I do not have so much time to deal with you guys every other day to get my car in proper running condition. I cannot visit your service centre every now & then for no fault of mine. If you say that buying a premium car from Hyundai, I need to go thru with all the pain then I will never trouble you going forward,please respond to me I will take it forward from there on , if not please address my issues immediately. If the issue is not resolved in couple of days, I would definitely want go to press & may go legal also, bcoz I have paid my hard earned money for this car & you guys cannot take me for a ride every time. I also do not want to spend a single rupee on any thing that you will replace as this is still in warranty period + the pain & agony that you guys have given me every time I visit you.

I have wasted my precious time to write such a mail for the car which is not even a year old. God save me, for all my future interaction with you guys till I sell this car off.
Never a Hyundai car in my life nor I will suggest anybody to buy any Hyundai vehicle for sure.

Dear Sales Dept,
I mr.Joseph Araujo bought a verna 1.4 petrol from you, all the money was paid by cheque.All promises that the car would be delivered, Yes after one week the car was delivered and now its 15 days there is no RTO no plate only some temporary no is given .I wanted to go to Nasik with the car today I cannot go, all false promises the car is in my garage but cannot drive out.Sales person Mr. Amol made all false promises that in 3 days all the procedure would be done now he is telling its RTO problems.Very BAD service from GRAVE motors pvt. ltd.
I agree, the sales team at Trident Hyundai would treat you so well, its almost surreal, however, once you have made the payment, they will not keep up to any promises they might have made on their own (pre-sales), for that matter the sales rep. (Gautam) is not even picking my calls...I had never expected such appalling service by such a big brand...its my first car and I was told there would be a small celebration at the time of delivery and a surprise gift and all that non-sence...we gave them 2 weeks to get the car ready and a week extra considering the sales guys was going on leave, so we decided that we will take the car only once he is back, on a sunday, when I called him on Sunday, I was told that my car is not back to the showroom (even when he had 3 weeks time) he said it would take another day, I got this information, only when I called him, he dint take the pains of calling and letting me know about this.Finally we went to get the car the next day (Monday), We were simply given the keys without any ceremony, my seat covers were not done, I wasn't given my car cover, which I had specifically requested for, and now he isnt picking up my calls...I really cant imagine...its just so unacceptable...Cmon guys this is not how you build relationships!!! Customer Service at Trident Hyundai sucks big time...absolutely disappointed.(Trident Hyundai - Sadashivnagar, Sales Rep - Gautam)

    Dear Sir/Ma’am,
    I had brought Hyundai Verna Diesel in the year September 2006. 1st delivery in Pune city.
    Last year the clutch paddle got stuck and as told by your authorized service centre, the hydraulics of the clutch had some issue.
    The gears have become so stiff and when sent for repairs they charged Rs.23,000 and kept the car for 1 whole month and dint get the stiffness fixed. I rented a car for the whole month. They even changed some parts and dint return the old ones. How are we supposed to know that they have really changed the parts when both – the stiffness issue of gear and return of changed parts is not done.
    For the stiffness in gear I have been going to Authorized Service centre “ Maa Hyundai” Pune. They are not able to solve the issue. Instead new problems are occurring every time I give the car for service.
    Very bad service i have come across.

    Hyundai — bad service

    Sir,
    I just want to bring this in to your notice that your company's staff don't deal properly with the customers. I am a Hyundai's customer. Several months before i bought a new Santro car from Novelty Hyundia located on GT Road, Amritsar. I am totally dissatisfied with the service of this company. Last month on 3/04/2010 i gave my car in your company's service center to get serviced but i face many troubles created by your company's staff members to get back my car. They commit me that they will deliver the car on 9/04/2010 but they didn't deliver my car on the commited date and they deliver the car on 13/04/2010 moreover they also changed the tyers off my car, they replace the new tyres of my car with the old once. When I came to know about the replacement of tyres I went to the service center with my complaint but the staff didn’t listen at all.
    That’s why I am writing this to the company. So, kindly take some action on my complaint and replace the tyers of my car. If no action would be taken I’ll go to media.

      My 2006 model Hyundai Getz GVS car Chassis No. MALBT51HR6M026192, Engine No.G4EA6M142900, bought from Popular Hyundai, Thiruvananthapuram in April, 2006 made a terrible noise from the engine area while starting in the morning on FOUR different occasions during the past 4 years. The noise was as if some one had put a stick or something into the fan blades. There was no visible objects in the engine area on examination. The noise came again on re-starting three times, and then subsided slowly while idling and the engine was sounding normal. The oil pressure light was not lit up, suggesting it was ok. The agency people could not explain why it happened. THIS HAPPENED ON FOUR DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, WHILE STARTING FOR THE FIRST TIME ON A DAY, but not on consecutive days or weeks or even months, and on all four times, the noise subsided gradually.

      Secondly, the dash-board of the car has become VERY STICKY to touch. The door of the glove- compartment is fine, but around it, it is sticky. The inside of the doors and other areas near and around the gear-shift lever have no problem.

      I have met atleast one more Getz GVS owner (from Kochy), who has the same problem with the dash-board.

      Any solutions to the above problems?

        I gave the my car (Hyundai Sonata Gold) to the Hyundai’s service center (Morani Hyundai, Jaipur) in a good running condition without any abnormality in engine & general condition (except the small accidental “Exterior” damages) but for this 3-4 days work the service center took lots of weeks & then also the work was incomplete and very surprising and shocking - The engine started making abnormal loud and creaking noise, engine came is in critical condition, engine bearings are damaged, oil pump not working, engine needs overhauling with major expenses. The service center manger and the owner are saying that these all damages occurred in Standing/Idle car as car is a mechanical & electrical machine which may get any faults even in idle position.

        Even one of the supervisors and a mechanic of the same service center, both told the manger of the service center in front of other staff that they both have driven my car when I gave it to service center, and they both accepted and agreed that my car engine was not having any abnormality in engine, there was no noise, oil was proper & it was in excellent running condition.

        Over and above this the managers and staff behaved & talked very rudely and abusively. They gave me lot of mental stress and losses.

        When contacted owner Mr. Jawahar Morani, he first assured to restore the car but then he gave time gap and then he said that he will not do anything and I can do whatever I want to do.

        I was also informed that they have contacts with prominent people, Police & Government departments and that they are one of the best dealers in Hyundai and that the media will also not go against them as they & Hyundai give huge advertisements income, so no one will take action against them. They don’t have any problems from any aspects so they don’t worry even if I escalate this matter.

        Anyways, I know that I have been cheated and something has been done in my car at the service center and all the facts validate my opinion.


        My Details:
        Car: Hyundai Sonata Gold
        Average Monthly Car fuel, maintenance & driver expenses: Approx. Rs.35,000/- P.M


        Complain of dealer:
        Dealer: Morani Hyundai Cars Pvt. Ltd., Jaipur
        Owner: Mr. Jawahar Morani
        Service Center Location where Damage occurred: Sitapura Service Center


        Car Condition
        At the time of giving it to Morani Hyundai Sitapura Service Center: the condition of car was as below:

        Accidental Damages:
        · Windscreen
        · Head Light (Left Side)
        · Bonnet Dent (Left Side)
        · Shaft Bend (Left Side) (Light Bend) (Reported to me later on by the service center body shop department)


        Car General Condition
        · Engine: Very Good Engine condition, No abnormal Noise from engine or car (Confirmed by 1 supervisor and 1 Mechanic of the Morani Service Center itself)
        · Oil Level: Full
        · Oil Leakage: No Oil leakage
        · Throttle: Little up down variation between 800 to 950 RPM
        · Start: Half key start (Mean to say very quick self start)
        · Others: No Other Problem


        At the time of forced/Insisted delivery of the car by Morani Hyundai, Sitapura Service Center:



        Accidental Damages:
        · Windscreen - Replaced
        · Head Light (Left Side) - Replaced
        · Bonnet - Painting was of worst condition which I have asked more than 5-6 times to be changed / repainted but it never got repainted. The managers never admitted that the paint is bad or done on contract, but when I told Mr. Jawahar Morani to get the technical evaluation done by third party then he himself admitted that the paint is contracted to 2 other parties and as these contractors are not doing it well they are in process to change the contractors.
        · Bonnet alignment: Was not proper and that was done unsatisfactorily even after 5-6 times requests/instructions from my side.
        · Shaft Bend (Left Side) (Light Bend) (Reported to me later on by the service center body shop department)



        Car General Condition:
        · Engine: Very Critical Condition (Main & Begin Bearings Damaged, Oil Pump damaged, Overhauling required, Heavy creaking noise from engine,
        · Oil Leakage: Heavy Oil Leakage, Template cover cap ring Missing.
        · Throttle: Little up down variation between 500 to 1100 RPM
        · Start: Full key hold start (Mean to say self start taking time)
        · Dash Board Indicators: ABS, TCS and Handbrake Lights all ON at same time
        · Dash Board Indicators: Oil light was Slightly Blinking (dim blinking)
        · Template Cover - 2-3 Screws missing
        · Rear View Mirror (Inside car) was replaced by some other broken mirror (When I complained they said that its my rear view mirror only but was broken wrongly by any mechanic) & when I said that this is not my mirror I recognize it. After some days they replaced rear view mirror with other mirror and told me that someone wrongly in error put the old mirror in the car and it was unintentional. They found my mirror somewhere else so they had put it back.
        · Screws inside the car below the Gear Handle were all missing. When I asked why you opened these screws they were answerless.
        · Power Steering: Tight & hard.

        Complains:
        1. Extraordinary delays in work
        2. Seldom called customer to give updates/status even after lots of request by the customer to update on status
        3. Incomplete work at time of delivery & insisted deliveries to customers in such car conditions
        4. Managers insist to take delivery of car in as it is condition giving excuse of heavy work load and promising to complete work after some days
        5. Managers and staff misbehaved and talked rudely and abusively
        6. Good condition car converted into a Critical Condition car which now requires complete engine overhauling with major expenses.
        7. Manager instructed staff to “Throw” out the car on the road if I don’t take delivery in as it is condition
        8. I am very sure and have strong feeling that that they have changed the parts of my car and/or something has been done with my car.
        9. There were another sonata(s) in the service center (and as told to me by the mechanics there that other car(s) were awaiting for some parts from long)
        10. These guys thought that as the Car is from Maharashtra and the person lives in Mumbai, therefore if they do any inappropriate activity with the car, they will not face any issues and escalations.
        11. At the time of entry of the car first time in premises of service center the staff says “Break Coconut, Call body shop guys to bring sweets, Finally a sonata has come, also we will have some arrangement other car”
        12. Unable to arrange parts: The dealer company which claims to have the best relationships with Hyundai and other dealer network failed to get the left axle/shaft of the car and I managed to procure it in an hour. Managers told that the part is not available with Hyundai India , Mobis India and entire dealer network otherwise they might have got it. When I questioned Mr. Morani about the relationships they claim with Hyundai and then not getting part, then he told me that they can never get any part from dealer network, other dealers can give it to customer but not to them as they are competitors and Hyundai India also intentionally not provides the parts to them but they sale to open market and that why customer can easily arrange for the part. I was surprised with his statement. This was contradictory, in one statement he says that they have best seller awards for genuine spares and in other statement he says that Hyundai India will not intentionally issue parts or its availability to them. When I questioned this to him he was answerless.

        Brief Happening:
        1. The car met an small accident near Morani Hyundai (Sitapura, Jaipur) service center
        2. I gave my car to service center it was in good running condition & good engine.
        3. The purpose was to change the Windscreen, Left side head lights and to do bonnet denting and repainting.
        4. 1 supervisor and 1 mechanic who took the car 1st and 2nd time confirmed in front of managers that my car was in very good condition and that there was no noise in the engine.
        5. For doing the above work of 3-4 days, the service center kept my car for more than 15-20 days and even after 15-20 days, they were not able to complete the work.
        6. Even after such excess & delayed time period, the car was forced delivered with incomplete work promising to complete work after some days. The car was having some other damages and problems which not existed when I gave car to service center.
        7. At the time of making delivery from service center the Car engine started giving loud noise and it was told to me that engine bearings and oil pump has been damaged in standing/idle car and it needs complete engine overhauling and major parts replacements.
        8. When questioned by me, the Managers and staff misbehaved and talked rudely using abusive language. Manager instructed mechanics to “Throw out the car” and let customer do what he wants to do.
        9. The car was kept on the road and I was forced to take car.
        10. I then went and met Mr. Jawahar Morani, Owner of the company, who first assured me to resolve issue and he asked me to meet once more to take this forward. I kept on following Mr. Morani for meeting and final resolution, but he kept on saying next day, next week etc. After some days, he said that he will not make the car good and I can do what I want to do. He earlier passed message that He has strong and solid relations with the Police & all government departments, Hyundai India, and many of the Ministers, so he doesn’t care even if I escalate it to any government department or Hyundai Motors because company will favor him only and not the customers, because he gives great business to company.

        Hyundai Motors — not transfering car ownership

        DEAR SIR,

        I HAVE PURCHASED DL7CA-0486, OLD SANTRO FROM HIMGIRI HYUNDAI, PEERAGARHI, DELHI IN 2ND WEEK OF MAY 2008.

        PAST 5 MONTHS I AM BEING ROLLED BY MANAGER MR.VINAY MAKHIJA FOR NOT TRANFERRING CAR IN MY NAME,

        NOW MR.GROVER, GM, MOB NO.[protected], IS MAKING NEW STORIES EVERYDAY AND NOT GIVING ME RC BOOK

        IS IT OWNERLESS CAR ?

        HAVE THEY FORGED WITH ME ?

        PL LET THEM TAKE BACK CAR,

        TODAY ONWARDS, ALL THEIR RISK AND RESPONSIBILITY,
        I AM GOING TO SUE IN COURT TO CLAIM DAMAGES AND DOING 420 WITH ME.
        CAN YOU PLEASE DO SOMETHING ?
        I AM REALLY WORRIED AS I HAVE PURCHASED CAR FROM DELHI DEALER AND RUNNING IN GUJARAT

          Dear Sir,

          I have been writing & talking to all the HYUNDAI officials & talking to them since the last 30 days but all in vain. Till date the local dealer out here M/s SHREE HYUNDAI in Bokaro Steel City, Jharkhand nor Mr Shantanun Bhadhuri cell no [protected] ( service Head HMIL, East) have helped me out. My above said vehicle is still in the WS due to NON availability of parts in the co.

          I have been sending my vehicle regularly to the authourised showrooms at Jharkhand for routine servecings but to my surprise the TIMING BELT broke out on 24th of OCTOBER on a highway from where the same was toe chained to M/s SHREE HYUNDAI & till date its parked there.

          Non of mails were sent across the country at co mail id's have been answered,excepting the AUTORESPONSE mail no reply has been received from any of the co officials. I have been calling the regional service manager Mr Shantanu Bhaudri on his cell every 2/3 day BUT AS USUAL he has been telling I shall revert within 30 min BUT NEVER HAS HE CALLD BACK or updatedthe status. I am litterally fedup with Both HMIL & local dealer. I can give u examples of almost 100 UN SATISFIED HYUNDAI local customers who have NOT EVER got any response both from HMIL & SHREE.... I have even calld at the nos of customer care where in UN TRAINED NON CusTOMER FRIENDLY people from call centres take the call & DO NOT give proper feedbacks ( Mr AMAN- at [protected] on 11th NOV at 1230 HRS)

          The vehicle is still in the w/s & I have been using a TAXI since last 1 month ..... for no fault of mine. Had the DELAERSHIP / HMIL done proper servicing & as per instructions changed the TIMING BELT within the stipulated time of 60000 to 65000 KMS I wd not have to undergo sooo much of pain, harresment & mental tourchure. Please let me know why should a customer / ley man be penelised for such an irresponsible behaviour of HMIL Dealer, there are NO TRAINED mechanics / supervisors in the dealships, absolutely ZERO in customer satisfaction.

          I will make sure THAT NON OF MY FRIENDS / RELATIVES EVER GO IN FOR A HMIL MAKE VEHICLE so that he will have to go through mental torchure. I am a social worker & also the President of Rotary Club Bokaro for the current year 10 -11 & will not leave any stone untouched to reveal the POOR QUALITY OF SERVICE by HMIL & SHREE.

          lastly I have taken up the matter with Mr PRIYESH RM - SALES East - [protected] & RM SERVICE East- [protected], they have promised to look into the case & revert in a days time, after that I shall take the help of District Consumer forum & State Consumer redressal forum for the mental torchure & pain the co has given. If this is the case with a saloon class vehicle we can very well understand the fate of poor SANTRO owners who shall be crying ....

          Dear Sir/Ma'am,

          I am driving your Verna car, a well proven product. But skilled manpower for servicing of this vehicle at dealership is completely missing. I went to your one dealer network ORION HYUNDAI at Gurgaon with huge expectation from these guys for services and few other problems like black smoke, clutch on 04/02/2010. During parking their driver broke my door side strip of rear door, when I bring into notice to ORION service manager he assured me that he will get it fixed, but when went there to receive my vehicle it was as it was.
          Also at time service I specifically bring into notice of Mr. Kuldeep that my car has a problem of black smoke, please check it and I think this is mainly due easier valve. He said no sir it due to injector, it is my responsibility to get it fixed by cleaning it, for this he charged Mr Rs 1310/- which was not at all required. After three days when I finally received my car black smoke was as it was and car was so dirty that I was not able sit in the car there was black kind of thing was there on door trims, dash board and on floor. After bringing all into notice to Mr Kuldeep, he assured me that he will get it all things done in coming week , height of negligence that ORION people are not even bothered to call me even a single time.
          Also they try to bribe by give some amount discount, but I completely refused.
          As I had clearly mentioned on customers satisfaction voucher that "I am completely dissatisfied" but still that thing does not worked out.

            I won a car HUNDAI Model i10, registration number is MH 12 FU 6931
            After a minor accident of state Bus dashing from rear I gave my car for repare work to SANJAY AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERS PVT LTD in Pune, MH India, Invoice no B[protected]

            Car was delevered to me in incomplete condition. after calling I learned that car was not inspect by the supervisor at service centre even no one checked at showroom before delevery and before taking payment from me.
            Even nothing was intimated to the customer about incomplete work as they were not knowing.

            Similar case has happen with me second time.When I intimated the instance to the supervisor Mr. Suhash Raut he says I have to check what was the approval from your insurance company even my car was there for a week.
            While giving the car for reapre Showroom supervisor Mr. Manoj inspected the car and while taking delevery Mr. Manoj Inspected the car and found incomplete work. I have taken his remarks on the invoice as incomplete work.
            In my family we have PALIO of FIAT, INDIGO OF TATA, ZEN OF MARUTI, But I was very passionate about HUNDAI and taken i10. I dont know whethere I mistaken by choosing HUNDAI.

            I expect matter should be taken care urgently and incomplete work must be completed urgently.

              My name is Amit Batra and I am staying in Noida (Uttar Pradesh)
              I purchased Hyundai – i10 era in Feb 2010 and few days back (on 13 Nov 2010) I met with an accident in which my car bumper and left head light got damaged.
              I immediately called the Khanna Hyundai - Yamuna Nagar (Haryana) as I purchased car from there and also I was going there for a family function.
              They assured me to bring the car in their service station and the car will be ready by 14 Nov 2010 evening.
              I went to their service station (250 kms from Noida) on 14 Nov morning.
              They took my car and there was no painter to paint the bumper but they always promised me to get it done in a day.
              I spent whole day of 14 and 15 Nov in the service center but no one was ready to do even a small work.
              Not only this, on 15 Nov they even told me to take my car back to Noida as they don’t have painter available.
              I personally contacted the painter and requested him to paint my car’s bumper.
              I had the worst experience of my life in those 2 days.

              If this is the service Hyundai provides to their customers then everybody will think twice before buying Hyundai’s vehicles.
              Also I would like to add that I haven’t even get my corporate discount check from Hyundai.
              Please look into the matter and do the needful.

                  I took the car to SUPRON HYUNDAI, Gurgaon when the engine was giving trouble. The car battery was bought from this dealer in February 2010. My driver told me that the engine was not picking up because of battery problem. The dealer said that Altometre was not working. They replaced it. Again the car was having the starting problem. Then i took it to the same dealer. He said there were other issues. Again they charged me over 7,000. Within two days, again the engine was not starting when i switched on the AC. I took the car to the same dealer. My driver again told me that the problem is with battery. The dealer said it is a fuel pump problem. They cleaned it up and tried to put the car on track. It did not work. Reluctantly and grudgingly, they agreed that the battery is down and needs to be replaced. i made two complaints on line and sent the same to HYUNDAI INDIA CUSTOMER CARE. They did not bother to respond to my email complaints. They did not instruct the dealer to replace the car battery whose warranty period is not yet over. The dealer is not willing to replace it and is giving evasive replies, stating that i have to leave the car for two/three days, then Exide battery team will come; they will inspect whether it works or not; they then certify for replacement; and when it is done then the battery will come from EXIDE and then they will replace it. i said this is not customer service but customer harassment. The battery was bought from the same dealer. The dealer agreed that it is a defective battery. instead of replacing it straightaway, why should they keep the car in their stations for 3/4 days and put me to continuous harassment and trouble like this. I have not done any tinkering, i have not made any mistake. They have given me the defective battery and they should replace it without causing any pain to me. Instead they are putting me to serious trouble, curtailing my mobility and keeping the car for 3/4 days with no promise of battery being replaced

                    I bought a Hyundai i10 car on 2007 and it has been three years now. Recently on September 20th 2010 my car Hyundai i10 got fired. It got smoke from the front engine and fully got fired.

                    Fortunately there was no one inside the car as the driver came out to check the smoke in the car and it suddenly fully got fired.

                    We are clueless on the happenings and hopefully Hyundai company need to provide a good response
                    or guidance to us. Car service was done on September 14th.

                    So please guide me on how to approach with the same to Hyundai Company

                    NO ONE SHOULD BUY HYUNDAI CARS, I PURCHASED MINE AND WHEN IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY MY CAR STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HIGHWAY WITH SMOKE COMING OUT IT WAS VERY SCARY AS I WAS A SINGLE WOMAN DRIVING THE CAR, THE ROAD SIDE ASSISTANCE TOOK MANY HOURS TO COME, THE SERVICE STAFF WERE VERY RUDE AND WERE POINTING OUT THAT I WAS AT FAULT EVEN THOUGH CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY THEY SAID THEY HAD TO KEEP MY CAR AND BEING IN A VERY OUT OF THE WAY SERVICE CENTRE I HAD TO FIND MY OWN WAY HOME FEELING VERY BAD BECAUSE THE STAFF HAD TREATED ME SO RUDELY, NEXT DAY THEYCALL AND TELL ME I HAVE TO PAY 5000 RS FOR NEW PART ADDED TO CAR, I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SO MUCH MONEY HAS TO BE PAID, IF THIS BECOMES A HABIT A HYUNDAI CAR WILL BE VERY COSTLY TO BUY

                      I want to lodge a complaint against the Hyundai car dealer Rishabh Hyundai Motors, Okhla Phase-II, New Delhi. I have booked a Hyundai Santro GLS Euro -III Car in their showroom. I have paid full down payment to them and the balance payment through HDFC Bank. After receiving full payment, when I go there to take delievery, they told me that there is some problem in that car. they refund my down payment which i gave them cash but they didn't gave me the loan cancellation or rebooking amount (Rs 2000) which is asking my HDFC Bank from me . HDFC bank told me that I have to bear that amount. I don't know why should I bear that amount. you are requested to lodge my complaint and please take action on Rishabh motors.

                        Dear Sir,
                        I, Ashish Agarwal had purchased Hyundia Santro (Regn No: UP32 CC 5702) 3 yrs back and was never satisfied with the the service centre since my car's first service. I have been giving my car to SAS Hyundia(Service Tax No: AAJCS00028ST001) for the service.

                        I also own Maruti Swift and have never faced a problem during its service. There are many Problems i have faced and facing with SAS that its almost like i just avoid giving my car for servicing. One of the biggest problems is i think shortage of technical people or may excess of non-interested Staff. Staff is never ready to explain the faults with the car but spontaneous enough to come with big bills. I had to change my clutch plates 3times with 2 times in last one yr with only a mileage of 34135 km and i have no answer from SAS of what is the problem. We have many cars in our family have never come across such a thing.

                        Secondly the service is not at all satisfactory. Even after extending delivery date we are handed over cars not fully serviced. Either cars is not washed or gear oil not changed or some other task which is undone. Now after spending so much, this is absolutely frustrating.

                        With my experience of 3 yrs with SAS i would give it a rating of 4/10.

                        I am sorry to say with service like this your customer base in my friends and family circle is shifting to maruti who instead of buying i10 or 20 have preferred Swift.

                        Please take some action, tighten there screws which will lead us out the miserable experience of getting our Cars Serviced.

                        SAS Hyundai lko. /Hyundai i10 — Change of part

                        my vehicle no. is UP32CM 8288. purchasd from SAS Hyundai lko. on 2/08/08.Ever since purchase of the vehicle we have been complaining of the vehicle taking bounce & sometimes stopping on first gear. our problem was fixed temporarily by the local service centre.On every service this complaint was repeated & was fixed only to be repeated after use of about one week or so.Now after 2 yrs.when the problem has become so worse that the vehicle just stops on first gear, the company now tells us that the gear assembly needs to be changed on payment of about 5000/- rs. My query is- that if the gear assembly was problematic from the date of purchase of vehicle why was it not changed when the vehicle was underfree service by the company even after repeated complaints? why did the company wait for 2 yrs? pls. note that my vehicle has always been serviced & attended by your authorised service centre at SAS HYUNDAI KANPUR ROAD LKO.
                        We may inform you that we also own a HONDA car & WE HAVE NOT ENCOUNTERED ANY SUCH PROBLEM FROM THEIR SIDE FROM PAST 3 YRS.
                        Kindly look into this matter & help us out as soon as possible as this vehicle is used to pick & drop my kids to school.

                          I had purchased the i10 era on 15th Oct 2009.. right from the very first day my AC is not working properly.. its not getting the chilled .. same the problem with the head light.. I had logged complaint with service centre " Nagpur Hyundai " now its " Eros Hyundai " during all the 3 free servicing.. and also seperately with during the hyundai service camp..! But I have been said that the AC is working fine and its ok.. same is the problem with the head light which too deem and adversely focused..

                          Finally I logged a complaint with the customer care of the hyundai.. after that also , I had to make lot of follow with the Eros Hyundai .. to get the defect rectified.. no one turned down to pick the vehicle.. finally i got the appointment after long.. Again i was told that now the gas was not upto the specified limits or less.. that why AC was not working.. now it has been recetified.. and headlight we cannot do anything about it as power of the bulb was increased ( I would like to mention here that even after so many request during all the 3 free services ,, the problem in the headlight and AC were not rectified ,, so I had to go for bulb change for more focus and power)

                          Also,, the quality of service " Ero Hyundai " does is very low class and pathetic.. no proper clean from outside.. no cleaning of the interior, no spray ... its like somebody from roadside being asked to wash the car..

                          Its 15 - 20 days now the complaint attended,, but still the AC is not working fine.. so as the headlight..
                          I would like to add here that,, the services provided by Eros hyundai is very low class infact pathetic..
                          Service manager not even bother to attend the customer with full attention.... it seems they are running a provision store " once the soap is sold .. they are done there only " ..

                          I want my vehicle to be totally defect free interms of AC and headlight at the earliest.. other I would not have anyother option to go for some other forums..

                                I purchased Hyundai i10 (Reg No. PB08-BL-0643) from Goyal Hyundai G.T. Road Jalandhar (N6209) on 3-6-09. Sales Manager promised me of 2 benefits
                                i) Loyalty Bonus- Rs 10000/- - on sale of old Non- Hyundai Vehicle
                                ii) Corporate Bonus - Rs 4000/- - for Government employees
                                In sept 2009 i submitted the relevant papers to avail the said benifits which they promised would be released within 3-4 month.                                 Upon approaching them on 17/11/2015 they denied the delivery stating they haven’t got the car delivery from Hyundai and now requested us to wait for another time i.e. a period of 3-4 months or more than that…also if its urgent we need to pay another additional ₹ 100000/- or else need to purchase the accessories costing ₹ 150000/- invested by an earlier investor who booked the car… so that they can arrange the delivery on preferred dates… but they will not issue any official receipts for the additional cost collected by them other than the on road cost…

                                In such scenario we would like to lodge an official complaint against your good dealer M/s Mithila Hyundai who collected the additional cost of ₹ 100000/- for urgent delivery of CRETA 1.6 VTVT and now forfeited the transaction. With such discourteous behaviour from your good dealer there are many other customers who turn their NEW THINKING and went for the NEW POSSIBILITES with other MAKE / MODEL except HYUNDAI…

                                You are requested to intervene and resolve the issue ASAP enable us to stick with your innovative slogan NEW THINKING NEW POSSIBILITES to get our DREAM CRETA on desire delivery schedule.

                                  I have purchased car on 7th Dec 2005 vide Car No : MH-12 CY 6408 SANTRO XL

                                  The car has not troubled us at all excepting some problems like cranking noise of driver’s seat which was not rectified in spite of many times sending car to Kothari.

                                  Now in Sept 2010 when my front driver side power window operation started giving trouble to me I took my car for its repair. Kothari They charged me Rs.1550/- for replacement of Limit switch which operates both sides glasses and I thought it done.

                                  But again after 3 days same problem started giving trouble the window up and down was not happening at all. After changing the Limit switch too it was giving trouble as mentioned above. Again car was kept for two days but there was no conclusion and later on car was returned with a verbal remark that "THE WIRING HAS PROBLEM WE HAVE ORDERED IT IE WE GET THE SAME WE WILL CALL THE CAR. After that 2 months have lapsed and in spite of follow up many times no one has bothered to call me even after my several calls to their Mr Sandeep on his mobile no: [protected] they are silent on this subject. The response has been very bad and was never expected from Hyundai service center.

                                  Can company make justice to me and arrange to rectify the problem at the earliest as since more than 3 months I am unable to make the window up and down and is causing great hardship to me.

                                  Santro is the worst case for the power windows. There is manufacturing defect in the system. In fact the entire central locking system has problem as I have tried to repair the same for my car. I have visited the garage at least 10 times in the last 8 months. NEVER BUY A SANTRO for the problem it gives after a few years in the doors and windows. What good is a car if you cannot open the doors an windows. The mechanics at several garages have confirmed that the max complaints for power windows and central locking comes from Santro. If Hyundai is listening contact me on skhandelwal.in @ gmail.com
                                  such a third class company I purchased santro xing gls model in 2013 end . the interior is so bad that everything makes noise when car goes on uneven road . so no more to santro now I prefer to buy Honda car .

                                        I took my car for service to V3 Hyundai service station in Chennai. I own Santro zing limited Edition.

                                        Gave them a list of complaints and to get the car serviced overall.

                                        Basic car cleaning was not done properly.
                                        Asked to change the switch for the reverse light and was not done.
                                        During the pressure wash am assuming – the form that is at the bottom of the radiator had pealed off and they did not bother to put it back.
                                        Brakes was supposed to be sharpened instead they were week and had to pump the brakes instead of stepping on it.
                                        Customer services called me to check on the service and when I said I have a complaint to make placed me on hold and hung up.
                                        I called back and asked to speak to manager or to give me a number she took her own time and gave a wrong number.
                                        Called back the second time and got the manager (Murgan) who did not apologize when I gave him the gist of what happened.

                                        I was driving Chennai to Bangalore so you can imagine my horror.

                                        Hyundai as a company I believe has a set standard world wide and if you give it to such incompetent people to handle your customers there is a flaw in your system.

                                        Have been working for the customer service industry for the past 8 years and there was no customer services with V3 Hyundai.

                                        Thought will keep you informed and will be selling my Santro and will look for a company that has better customer service.

                                        The complaints never end with hyundi and the services i had with V3.
                                        After I gave my car the second time to V3 the driver brought the car back from service and when i was paying him the money a guy riding a bike drunk
                                        hit the car from the back and broke my tail light windscreen and damaged my bumper.Insurance took care of most of the damage but Ihad to shell out 2500 for repairs.
                                        Is this bad luck with V3 or just there issues of servicving cars.Cause if they got it right the first time this would not have happened.
                                        The issue never ends.
                                        I was on my way to Bangalore from Chennai to attend my best friends wedding.
                                        36 km from Vellore the car jerks and comes to a halt at 8:30pm in the medlle of nowere.Thankfully it was a friend that was with me and not wife who is with me most of the time.
                                        My friend and me stayed in the car the whole night as we did not have any numbers to call.Morning we caught a bus to vellore and went Hyundai Susee in Vellore.
                                        The machinices came back to the car and tried to fix it but in vaine.The car was tored back to the services station.The manager said they would try and fix the car.After a whole day they are still not able to fix the problem cause thay dont now where its.The manager of susee keeps calling me updating me about the car which am very happy about.
                                        All this has happended after the service with V3.When we went for a test drive on friday the manager said that the car was straining at the speed of 80km.before the service with V3 the car has touched 140km easily and was smooth.
                                        Now who is going to compisite me for the time i spent on the highway missing my friends wedding ritules and the money that i have spent and going to spend with Susee motors after they fix the car most of all the stress that i was put through during this period.
                                        The car is still not fixed and in Vellore with Susee motors.i will have to take a days leave travel 150km+ to pick up the car.
                                        Who do i Blame for this..Myself for buying a hyundai...V3 for not getting the service incorrect the first time..or is it just bad luck i have to deal with untrainded unproffessional people that represent hyundai
                                        Well not sure if youll take your complaints seariously...just thought will keep you posted.Am just fedup and stresssed about the car and service.
                                        Like I said the service issues with Hyundai never ends.Ever since I got the car back from susie motors in vellore I drove back home to Chennai.Have been travelling on work since so the car was parked at home.Today when started the car to go out on some important work less then 100 meter away from home the problem started again...it shut down in the middle of the road.

                                        I have sent over Rs8000/- on the car ever since it went to V3 for service.This is apart from the accident that took place because of them.

                                        Time on the high way with no assistance in the middle of the night.Lost a complete 2 days trying to get the car fixed and get back home to chennai.

                                        Now the issue still continues with the car.

                                        Who do I go to..Who is sufficiently trained to fix my car in Chennai.. or is servicing a hyundai car a money making scheme..and they just dont care about customers anymore.

                                        Have written numerous mails to hyundai and still get the same service..

                                        Thought I can call and speak to someone in customer services.. the wait time to speak is over 5 minutes...and is an STD call for me...my conclusion is that either you dont have proper trained people or there are too many calls which means you guys have so many breakdowns and dont have the manpower to manage the calls and the number of cars breaking down are high which doesn't speak highly of hyundai.

                                        Questain- Do i call KUN ,Express hyundai, HMP DSC to come fix the car so they can take more money and rob me dry...

                                        What do I do???????? Sell the car ....Who will buy a car after they look at the history of the service...ever it went to V3 for service...The useless bunch have spoilt a perfectly running car and created so much customer dissat.

                                        Hello Everybody,

                                        I also had horrific time with service in Hyundai at V3 for the second time. Even the Non Hyundai local service center are better in this regard. Its high time they correct theri course else it will ultimately lead to doom.

                                        1st Time:
                                        1. Took my car to the service center. The customer service was pathetic. They made me wait in the lounge for more than and hour and I was getting late for the office.
                                        2. Then a mechanic came and asked me the problem. Don't know what is he thinking at that time..he hardly was listening to the problems I was sharing. I not only had problem with the body but also with the functionality...but he suddenly said this is body guys work and asked another guy to take care of this.
                                        3. The second guy again made me wait for almost half an hour and took the complaint for both body work and mechanical problems.
                                        4. They told I can come and collect the car from service center. Didn't even offer to bring the car to house. That would have definately be nice gesture.
                                        5. They never bothered to call me and inform me that the commitment they have made to give the car in the evening was not made. Insted when I called to confirm if car is ready they asked me to come the next day evening.
                                        6. Next day evening (fri) when I called they said its not yet ready and they will inform me when the car is ready. I was very disappointed by the gesture.
                                        7. 3rd day I waited till 10 am in morning and when I called them they asked me to come at 11:00 am. When I reached there instead of delivering the car they asked me to wait in the lounge.
                                        8. Waiting for long 1.5 hours and when I went to reception to enquired, I was stunned to know that I have to wait another 1 hour coz staff has gone for lunch..How rediculous!! They never bothered to inform me that it may take more time or didn't have courtesy to ask me also to go and have lunch...!
                                        9. I went for lunch and came back at 4 pm and after waiting for another 1 hour I got the car back finally...My whole saturday was ruined on that day.
                                        10. They didnt' even fix some of the problem I had highlighted and I had problem with vehicle after some time.
                                        11. One lady called me for feedback and I gave very bad feedback...but things remain the same as I experienced in my second service.

                                        2nd Service:

                                        One not fine day my car didn't start after I did grocery shopping near my house. From that place I can see the V3 service center clearly..not even 500 m away...Since I had come with my wife and small kid..I needed urgent attention and called V3 Service center. The receptionist told me that wthin 10 mins he will send a mechanic to check.

                                        Can you believe I had to wait almost 1.5 hours for the mechanic to arrive. I had to call so many times after which finally they arrived. They did something and asked me to push the car and it started somehow. They were two of them came in car. I asked one of them to come with me till my house(very near) so that my family and grocery can be offloaded and they can take the car. I was astonished by the answer..They said take the car home drop everything and bring it back to service center. When I insisted also they were adamant and asked me to bring the car to service center. The most nerve wrecking was while they were going to their car they turned back, saw me and laughed with each other mischeviously (????).

                                        The story doesn't end here...when I call to check if my car is ready..the mechanic said 2 parts are not available but u can pick up car and the parts will be avaialble in next 2 days. When I went there my car was not ready..I had to wait from 5 pm to 8 pm(3hrs) to get my car ready...so funny...!

                                        They commit but never keep the commitment..the part that was supposed to come after two days is not available even after four days...I might have called 10 times and everytime he says..he will call me back but not even one call i got so far...I don't believe in these guys anymore..and looking for local mechanic as they are better than these guys...local mechanic told me with in half day the original parts will be replaced with almost 30% less price...

                                        I don't see any reason going back to V3 Service Center anymore...and I suggest others the same...
                                        I have a Hyundai Elantra CRDI vehicle. Can anybody suggest best place to get it serviced?
                                        Which is the best place to get spares and regular servicing? Any experienced local mechanics/workshops can anybody please suggest?

                                        I would recommend you to go an authorised Hyundai Service centre. you must be aware of the recent upcoming where the U.S Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has caught Hyundai for overstating the mileage a few of their cars give. The Elantra and Accent are included in this.
