Sir,
I have applied for idea postpaid sim on last saturday 20/05/2016. They told the sim will be activated within 24 hours. But after a week also, the sim is not activated. Address verification also not happened. They have not even shown the courtesy of calling my alternate number. I am providing you the details please look into it.

    Yesterday i recharged my idea internet pack from mobikiwk for 249rp. It showed 2gb unlimited plan for 28 days. But when i completed recharge idea gave only 1.25 gb for only 21 days. Than i contact with idea but first time they put me in hold for 7 min than again i contact with them they told mr that our plan is only for 1.25gb for 249rs. Now what can i do? Wo is responsible for this? Idea or mobikiwk? I have updated version of mobikwik also. Plz help me

          I have received this email from some advocate for idea.. This is not my number, this is not my address but this mail is coming on my mail id. Why?
          Infact i have never even lived in this saharanpur or whatever area this is. Idea kindly find the person who has taken this number, go to his address, collect your bloody bill. Do not send this on some other person's email.
          Ps i am assuming that you are running a telecommunication company and not a barber's shop which keeps sending mails to unrelated persons for recovery.

          Subject: - outstanding amount due and payable by you to idea cellular limited under a/c no.[protected] and mobile number[protected].
          Our client: - idea cellular limited, a-68, sector 64, noida – 201301
          Sir / madam,

          Under instructions from and on behalf of our client above named, we address you as under: -

          That our client have provided the data/internet/voice services at your (“service”) request after receiving your duly completed customer application form (“caf”).

          As per the terms contained in the caf, you are liable to pay the various dues, charges as are applicable for availing, retaining and using the said service. As per the terms in the caf, read with the monthly statements issued by our clients for said service, our clients have regularly billed you. Despite our clients repeated requests and reminders from time to time, you have intentionally delayed and defaulted in making the payments.

          By agreeing and accepting the terms and conditions of service as well as of the caf, you, inter alia, agreed to pay to our clients such dues and charges as detailed in the monthly statement/s of our clients. Further, you continue to remain liable for the late payments and such other charges as have been specified in the monthly statements issued by our client for the amount of such charges and fees not paid in time, up to the date of their payments. We state that a sum of rs. 1225/- is due and recoverable from you as on date.

          We further state that, you have, despite regular requests and reminders of our clients failed and neglected to comply with the demands of our clients and clear the said dues as required.in fact, not only you have failed to make payments of the dues (Charges and fees) but also the reminders of our clients have elicited no response from you. Our client therefore states that in the circumstances stated herein before, you have become liable to forthwith pay to our clients an aggregate sum of rs. 1225/- along with the interest and charges that accrues till final payment, under the said agreement.
          Though our client would have been justified in taking criminal proceedings against you directly, in the interest of justice and to give you a fair opportunity, we hereby finally call upon you to carry out and comply with the requisition contained in this notice within 2 days of the date of this notice, failing which our client will have no alternative but to institute appropriate legal proceedings (Civil and criminal) for the offences of cheating, fraud, misappropriation of funds, criminal breach of trust and conspiracy for recovery and strict punishment thereof entirely at your risk as to costs and consequences which please note.

          This notice is sent to you without prejudice to my client’s other rights, claims, actions, interests and contentions or any action or police complaint already initiated or likely to be initiated against you under the aforesaid agreement.

          Our clients also call upon you to pay a sum of amount 1000/- being the legal cost incurred by our clients towards this notice.

          Without prejudice, if you are willing to make the aforesaid payment, within the stipulated time, you are requested to contact with mr. Irshad ahmad on contact no. [protected] during working hours (I. E. 9:30am to 6:30pm). You can make payment either through web or through crossed cheque favouring “idea account no.[protected]” and dispatch it to mailing address.

          Please advise procedure to stop the irritating flash SMS messages.
          After every communication i get a message you are charged zero amount. This happens even when my data service changes from WiFi to mobile data while moving around my house. I am getting an average 50 messages per day and am not able to stop.

            Hi Team,

            Idea is the worst and very bad broadband band service provider. My request has been closed without informing me. The request was raised on 15 Jun 2016 and another one on 22 June 2016 and both request has been rejected. I do not understand why this request has been closed without informing. I think you are playing with customer money and not giving proper service. Requesting you please reopen my request ad don't tell me due to system restrictions we can not open old request. If you have not given the solution then you do not have any rights to close customer request.

            Also I have observed that your idea customer representative do not have enough knowledge and customer dealing capabilities and they even don't know how to talk with customer. Please provide them some training they even don't know what solution and detail need to provide to customer.

            I have never seen such poor quality services. I was on call with your customer care for 1 hours 30 min and they have disconnected my call directly because they don't have any answer.

            My humble request to you please reopen my below requests

              On 23rd of august i got a recharge done for my idea number of rupees 453 which was an offer only applicable for the users of the phone (Oneplusthree) so i got a message that the recharge has been done and i have received the normal 2 gb data, when i checked the balance it was showing that i have 2 gb of data to use but when i started using my internet facilities they started deducting amount from my main balance, now i have trying to talk to them since the morning of 24th aug and no one is able to help me, i have been put on hold for 10 mins, i have to explain my problem to them each time i call and then come out with no solution then they transfer my call to their seniors for which they put me again on hold for 10 mins each time i call i have to stay on line for like 30 minutes, they asked me to wait for 24 hours, i did. I have called like more than 10 times and still my problem is not solved, last time i talked to a senior he said he will call and he also did but he had no solution they just keep asking for more time, then again a guy called but due to some issues through his side the call disconnected. The name of the senior was mr. Arif yasmin baig and after then i called again on idea customer care and talked to a ma'am and even she put me on hold for two minutes and when i asked her name she refused to tell me her name but somehow afterwards she told me her name which is seema badnawarc, and she then asked me to wait for another 4 hours. This is what is happening with me since the last 36 hours and i still am stuck with my problem here.

              My 3g data pack is activated but my internet is still running slow. signal strength is almost full but still it is running worst.i had some talk to this company customer care but it is useless as i have done everthing but there is no use of their help.please take a look or otherwise i will port my network to other cellular network

                  The Signal at my home (which is located at the middle of Trichy city) is poor.

                  At town it is weak and at villages it is zero.

                  Idea has less number of towers when compared to other companies, but the amount charged is mostly the same as other big companies.

                  I have missed most of the important calls came to me and felt bad about it.

                  So I request Idea to resolve this issue as soon as possible.

                    I am writing to you with grave concern that I am facing issues with my cell number [protected]. I am a very old client of yours. I have complained regarding signal problem with you but till date no solution has been in place by you. How it is happening I am unable to understand. We are facing signal problem in National Capital. If you are not able to resolve this how you are going to resolve the problem existing in other parts of the country. Your executives makes false promises of resolving the issue which is still persists.

                    Finally I shall wait till tomorrow. If the problem continues will change the service provider during the coming weekend.

                          This is with reference to excess bill provided to me By Idea post paid bill. I am surprised to see my July month bill of amount Rs 9909 /- because i have activated the international roaming in my number([protected]) and it was shown that i had used internet and my data usage is 7.76 Mb and charges imposed on me for this is Rs 7956 (data usages) +Rs 1200 (service tax) and total amount is Rs 9909/- approx bill amount.Which is totally fraudulent charges and unacceptable to me because i didn't use this SIM for any calling or data usage during my Australia Business trip.

                          On my several request customer care of idea not able to explained the bill calculation even i have visited my nearest customer care center at Shridatta communication, Kaspate wasti, waked Pune, they told me that they don't know the calculation, they can only take the request for activating the international Roaming..i have to contact to idea Customer Care on phone..i tried 2-3 times on idea Customer Care, but they didn't able to explained me the actual calculation, and it was shocking for me to hear from one of the idea Customer Care representative(Mr Nilesh) that since this was used in Australia, and we don't know the exact tariff and calculation, you have to asked regarding this to the Australian service provider.I am shocked to hear this unprofessional Answer from your customer care officer, felt really harassed by continuous call from your team for payment of inflated wrong bill.

                          Fact is that, I was in Australia Perth city from dated 19.07.2016 to 05.08.2016 on my business trip i usually carry my Australian Matrix Sim and always used that SIM for calling and data/internet use.I never ever used my India postpaid SIM ([protected]), though i have one more prepaid SIM (air tel), and always prefer to use that than postpaid.
                          This is first time i have activated international roaming in my Idea postpaid number since i ported this No. to idea.

                          Before Idea i had never faced any problem regarding international roaming with my any previous service provider, since i have been using this number from 7 years. I am really upset with Idea services and wrong charges they have imposed in my bill.

                          Now all outgoing/data usage/SMS services has been blocked by Idea despite my complaints which is pathetic.

                          My humble request is to remove the data usage charges and revised my bill accordingly.I am ready to pay my bill after revision otherwise i have to move to consumer forum and get my connection disconnected.

                            My idea Bill ([protected]) includes an extra 250 rs for a 1 gb data which I didn't use as I had got it deactivated from idea.
                            They say the rule is that a service ( add on data plan) can't be deactivated in mid cycle. .so they should have given me the data if they had to charge me for it .
                            I deactivated it in the initial part of bill cycle. ..they deducted the data from 3gb to 2 gb immediately but charged for the 1 gb data
                            CAN'T UNDERSTAND THIS DUAL POLICY
                            DATA WILL BE DEDUCTED IN MID MONTH AS SOON AS ASKED FOR BUT WILL TAKE CHARGES TILL END OF MONTH.
                            IF THEY CHARGE FOR ANY SERVICE TILL BILL DATE THAN GIVE THAT SERVICE TILL BILL DATE

                              Sir my idea gsm no is [protected] .my balance of total 6rs deducted without any intimation on 23&24 aug 16.After i spoke to customer person came to know the money deducted from account on time 14:54pm and next day 13:04pm.But at that time i was on duty(army).It is very pathetic condtion without any concurrence they deduct the money.so i request you to stop deduct my money and also refund my money as soon as possible.I already spoke to customer person after several attempt but his reply was very unsatisfactory.so please do the needful.

                                  Dated[protected] i changed my network from bsnl to idea through port……sim no.[protected]. Present this no working with idea net work……..When i connect idea network, any bsnl calls are not connected to this number….We call any bsnl network number to this number it says this number does not exist, try againg later…..Any other network calls are connected with this number without any problem…..All out going calls including bsnl are working good with this number…..
                                  This problem i talk customer care bsnl and idea net works…..They told me our networks works well your number/connection perfect in our networks….We do not solve your problem….Connection is perfect…but why your number not connect with bsnl networks we don’t know….We never solve your problem….

                                    Idea company is most respected cellular operator in India .But the unprofessional attitude of some executives changed my perception toward idea . I am idea postpaid customer since 2 years and using their service . some data related issue happened last month and they disconnected service of my number even without intimating . I was even ready to pay the major portion of disputed bill but ironly they disconnected my number before I pay . Now they thinks I will pay the amount .
                                    By my this mail I want to tell Aditya Birla shahab to improve your customer grievances mechanism and I will be happy if you start my services without term and conditions .

Is number pe mujhe first day se problems aa rhi h. Mera idea number cug plan 900rental plan m h. Iss number ka august month ka jo bill aaya h usme 26 july se internet charges lge hua h jo ki plan se alag h. Jo internet charge lge h vo rs 750 h. Maine [protected] pe 23 july ko 1925 pe call kiya tha or balance se net nahi chalne ki service activate ki gyi thi jo msg mere pass saved h.

                                      (2). And second problem is mera bill cycle month ki 14 se 13 date ka banta h or mujhe har mahine ki 14 tarikh ko net ka benefit milna chiye jo iss mhine mujhe nhi mila or mera net ajj 23rd august ko bhi balance se chal rha h main 3-4 time idea store main contact kar chuka hun or idea care pe bhi call kar chuka hun mujhe koi solution nhi mila..

Network nd idea care hisar executive behaviour is also very bad . idea care executive not attend customer and if talking in rude way. M not satisfied with your interaction.

                                        On behalf of my husband dhiraj d. Pawar for the mobile nos. [protected], [protected] i want to register the complaint for the charges mentioned in the attached invoice.

                                        On 3rd august 2016 the request for closing both the nos. I. E. [protected], [protected] was given at your wanorie office pune along with the closure forms id proofs and photos.

                                        The wanorie office idea representative confirmed the till date (03/08/2016) unbilled amount for both the nos. As rs. 660/- which was paid at the same time.

                                        From then there was no usage done by us on the both the nos. But as per your invoice the net usage charges are levied on us on 4th august 2016 for both the numbers rs. 1220.56 and rs. 2874.52 respectively.

                                        Today we received these faulty bills with charges charged on the date when we have not used either of these numbers.

                                        After calling to customer care they confirmed the sim card was deactivated and there was no usage of the numbers after 03/08/2016. Will you please explain why this was not informed to us on the day when we were closing these numbers?

                                        Why the unbilled amount sais to us was only 660/- for both the numbers?

                                        There was no transparency kept from your behalf on the unbilled amount and internet usage.

                                        I still think the charges are excess.

                                        I am very unhappy with the resolution provided by customer care.
                                        Will also file a complaint in consumer court for the same.
