Dear sir/madam
This is regarding a fraud committed in your bank’s erstwhile first capital branch in sector 26, chandigarh.
Last year i had gone to buy an ac from a dealer in kharar, mohali. There i came to know that there has been a loan taken on my name vide account no. 7771030.. When i enquired further, it came to my knowledge that in your above-mentioned branch, a loan was given to the tune of rs. 61990/- with my fake documents and the amount was used to buy a gadget. When i approached your branch, the staff was very non-co-operative and refused to part any details about the said loan. When i persisted, mr. Rohit kapoor, the manager just showed me the pic of the lady in his own phone, on whose name the loan was processed. When asked that why there was no verification of address and phone number was done, he was very elusive about the answers. And when i asked him to take action against that person, he flatly refused. It seems very clear that it was known to him that this thing has happened.
Now, as per the latest update from your company, after filing an application, a reply has come. And to collect it either i have to go to the branch individually (Which is quite far away i. E. 26 kms and i have to take leave from my work) or i have to send someone with an authorization letter and my id proof. Surprisingly, your people never bothered to verify my id while giving a loan to someone else on my name. I have already missed my work and taken leave for 5 days.
Just because of this my cibil score fell drastically and i was not able to buy ac for my children and they had to suffer in summers. Just because your bank people were careless and generous too, at the same time to give a loan to someone else.
Now, i need to know will there be any corrective action taken or i have no other option than pursuing the legal course.
