I was having a loan from capital first, now known as idfc first bank.
The loan got closed on jan 2018, i have mail from them with end date.
Everything was smooth until they deducted 1500 in july 2019 in name of ecs. I am shocked why did they had to deduct ecs after 1.5 years of loan being completed.
This is not acceptable. If you had any outstanding you should have deducted it before, there was no need for waiting 1 year.
When i raised this, they promised me to refund but later asked me to pay 1600 and then only they will refund me 1150. Does it make sense? No, not at all.

IDFC bank has disbursed my loan without by consent which is very pathetic and against RBI policies. Now, I want to cancel this loan asap.
I have already given the request for cancellation however no updates yet. Also, they are stating that I will have to pay 10, 000 as cancellation charges which is again very disheartening.
I have to run here and there for cancellation and still I have to bear the loss. It's unprofessional and unethical from IDFCs part which is really not expected from a bank like IDFC.
