Me and my friends are travelling from Hosur to Yesvanthpur daily by train.
By morning we are travelling with train number HY1 (Hosur - yesvantpur passenger) and by Evening we taking 6527(yesvantpur jn to kannur) , These both trains are running late everyday now.

HY1 trains starts late in hosur and it reaches near to yesvantpur Jn and it stopped for above 20min. later it reaches its platform(this is the daily problem that we are facing)

Evening train number 6527(yesvantpur jn to kannur) is running late it is stopped in between and it reaching Hosur late.. (From past 2 week this was running late due to several reasons).

Distance between Hosur to yesvantpur station is 67 kms we are traveling more than 2 hours.. if train runs correctly then we is to reach 1.15 hours..
I request improve the train service between hosur and yesvanthpur jn and also between Hosur and Bangalore city Jn. This trains are also getting delay between Hosur and Bangalore city Jn...

    this is regarding the inconvenience suffered due to negligent staff and catering services on-board the Rajdhani express to Bangalore for Nizamudin station Delhi.

    train details-
    train number 12430 Rajdhani express.
    travel date- 2nd feb 2011

    the duration of this journey is about 35hours and it has been very inconvenient to travel for such a long time with absolutely terrible services. the food is not served on time. it is cold and probably stale. there is different food served in different classes. and in-spite of opting for non vegetarian meal it was refused to be served.

    enough drinking water was not provided and we were told that only one bottle of water would be given for each person. water was given after a long argument with the ppl in-charge. not only drinking water but even for other requirements like washing and toilet use there was no water.

    the floor was dirty and the toilet was in a terribly dirty state. it was stinking and was not cleaned properly.

    this was a matter of concern to not only us but to all other passengers as well, and in spite of repeated requests and negotiations there was absolutely no effort by the service boys to make anything better. this also led to many unpleasant arguments through the journey.

    rajdhani is supposed to be the best amongst all the available train services, and if after paying 2000rs for a ticket this is the way passengers are treated, then i wonder what happens otherwise.

    not only travel but even the inquiry services are so bad that after trying to reach the inquiry number for an entire day there is no one to take the call.

      Dear Sir,
      The Indian Railway Welfare Organisation was arrenged for dwelling units of varius type named on "Rail Vihar" at Asansol only for Railway employees, being a Railway employee I was booked for type IV dwelling unit on may 2005, and also received allotment letter No. IRWO/Asansol/ ALT/0001004.
      But unfotunetly the organiser decided to shelve the construcion of type IV units in this project. So, I informed many times to the General Manager/IRWO to refund my booking amount of Rs 50,000/ with interest, which was deposited on bank draft No.312276(SBI) dated[protected].

      I shall be highly obliged if you kindly investigate the matter, so that I get it refund my money.

        my son was booked one residential type IV flat with booking money Rs.50,000 at Asansol developing by IRWO/Newdelhi. But suddenly the they have calcelled to construction of this type of flat.
        so, my son was requested to return his money many times.But stil now it is laying in non refudable condition. plese see the documents attached herewith.

          I have been using ATVM card for my travel between Velachery and Mylapore regularly. I used to get my to-and-fro ticket from the ATVM dispenser in Velachery.
          For the past few months one of the two ATVM dispenser was not working properly as the pointer of the touch screen was not recognizing the finger touch. Almost all people were made to use the second dispenser. Today, the dispenser which was functioning properly was totally down with some error message displayed on the screen and people were forced to use the malfunctioning one. It was extremely difficult to get a ticket printed out from this machine. What used to take normally 2-3 minutes to get the ticket printed out took almost 15minutes today.

          Will the authorities look into this issue on priority as there is always a huge queue piled up during the peak hours at the Velachery station?

            I had booked the railway ticket for journey from Jaipur to Kanpur in 3A class on[protected] in Tatkal for journey on[protected] with transition id-[protected](Rail Zone ER) on above mentioned PNR NO. Payment of Rs.2178/ was made through I Cash Card.
            Train was late about 24 Hrs(Indefinite Period) from starting station Jaipur and decided not to travel on same train due to urgent work at Kanpur.on[protected].
            I had lodged the TDR claim as per IRCTC rule on[protected] and IRCTC farwarded to Indian Railway.but so far Indian railway has not setteled the claim. So many reminders were sent to IRCTC by me and IRCTC has also sent reminders to Indian Railway Railway on 22-Dec-2009 .and already issued Reminders on 01-Sep-2010 and 07-Oct-2010 and 10-Apr-2010 and 13-Jul-2010 and 19-May-2010 to concerned railway to chase up the case.But despite reminders by IRCTC but refund is yet for settled the claim by Indian railway .But so far Indian Railway has not setteled the claim and also not replying from last 14 Months.to IRCTC.
            You are requested kindly kindly take necessary against Indian Railway to settle the claim urgently..

              Honable Railway Minister Ms Mamta Banerjee,

              I, Madhu Shukla was travelling with my family (8 members), by Kalka Mail (12311) AC 2 Tier, PNR no. [protected], [protected] on 24/01/11 boarded from Howrah to Allahabad.

              On the train's sheduled stop at Dhanbad station at around 11.45 pm, I woke up by a sudden noise to find my Laptop bag containing; Compaq laptop (value Rs 45,000.00 on purchase), Tata Photon ( value Rs 1,400) & cell phone charger ( value Rs 1,000), being stolen from the overhead rack by a tall hindi speaking man, who then rushed to the compartment door of the opposite side of the plaform. I rushed behind him calling him out, found him opening the door & tried to retrive my laptop bag from him. He snatched it back, hit my left hand with a pistol and jumped on the tracks threatning to kill me.

              There was no RPF/ police force or attendant present to address the situation and the connecting gates to other compartments was also open. My call for help woke up the other passengers but the train had already started leaving the platform by then. On my family's call for help, the attendant with the COR Mr. Md. Sallaudin came and made me write a complaint & also register an FIR.

              Madam, I being a woman entrepreneur of a small scale enterprise, had all my work data and details of on-going projects stored on the laptop. This theft has been a huge blow to me both personally and professionally and I feel helpless as neither my laptop nor my valuable data can be retrived. I feel cheated as I have always been travelling by AC 2 tier so as to ensure personal safety & safety of my belongings. I was under the false impression that security forces in AC 2 tier would avoid life threatning situtations & theft of this kind.This incident has left me scared for my life while travelling by rail and work while travelling now seems impossible.

                Sir.
                I am also having a complaint. I booked two tickets from Trivandrum to Guruvayoor on15.1.2011(Departure -Night 11.15 from Tvm) in 2nd AC sleeper waitlisted as 3 & 4. I reached at Tvm station at 11 .15 o"clock. But waiting list not cleared and TTR not allowed me to travel in that train.Next day morning I presented the ticket for refund. But the authorities rejected the claim by saying that 6 hours passed from departure time of the train. Sir, is it justice? Railway has no loss relating my ticket. Another passengers travelled and so the waitlist not cleared. I have suffered physically and mentally so much. Why cant Railway refund the untravelled (paid in advance) fare about Rs.1300/-.? Here, the cancellation is none of my fault. I am ready to travel. Railway not permitted for W/o clearance of waitlist. As such Railway is liable to pay the fare at any reasonable time when I claimed. The common time lag of 6 hours not applicable here. If iam cancelling a sure ticket after departure of train it is O.K. Here I am compelled for cancellation. Common justice is to refund my fare urgently. Who will redress this grievance Sir?

                Indian Railway — Refund of ticket Fare

                I had booked e ticket bearing PNR No.[protected] for the journey from Nasik Road to Nagpur for the date 04.11.2010 & status of the reservation was wait listed 14 & 15. Before a day of the journey, it was not confirmed but it was just came down to W/L 12 & 13. In the peak season, it was not possible to confirm the same. So, I have tried to cancel eticket online. But, due to some technical problem occured during the cancellation process, I could not cancel it. Then I have cancelled it by offline on 03.11.2010.
                On the return of the journey from Nagpur, it is come to know that the proceeds of the cancelled ticket was not credited into my account with Bank of India, Junnar Branch. On the inquiry over the telephone to IRCTC, New Delhi, it is know to know that the said ticket was confirmed on the journey date i.e. on 04.11.2010. However, I have not performed the journey as it has already been cancelled by me offiline. They have suggested me to file TDR to get refund. On 18.11.2010, I have filed TDR. As per rule of the Railway, it is to be refunded within 90 days. Till date, I could not get it.
                My humble request to Railway Authority to process the same as early as possible.

                  I had send one Motor bike from NewDelhi to Coimbatore by train vide Way Bill No.0053011 dated[protected]. Since I wanted it to be bought along with me, as directed by the parcel clerk, I took the bike two hours before the actual departure of the train and made the booking. I was given the assurance that it will be carried in the same train in which I was travelling ( PNR No:[protected], Ticket No: 26635636, train No: 12626 Kerala express dated[protected]. On arriving at Coimbatore station I came to know that the said item was not loaded in the same train. Until 10th January I used to enquire every day at the parcel office and used to get the same reply. There after I could make an enquiry only on the 19th and I was informed that the bike was brought to Coimbatore on 11th January. I had to pay a demurrage of Rs.1990/- vide Money Receipt No:940637 dated[protected] to get the bike released.
                  I would like the answers to the following Questions of Mine.
                  1.Having told by the booking clerk and taking all the pain to book my Bike 2 hours before the departure of the train, why the bike was not loaded in the same train?
                  2. Why the bike once it arrived in Coimbatore Junction even though the address and telephone number was given, no effort was made to contact me?
                  3. Indian Railways is sole responsible for the late arrival of my Bike and why railways does not take a responsibility of it and instead charge me on a hourly basis?
                  4. I was told that the bike will be kept only for 6 hours once it arrives and from then it will be charged? On What basis will I know on which train my Bike was coming when actually it was intended to come on the same train I was travelling?
                  Hope you will answer my queries.

                    I booked two seat in Train No.16382 from Kottayam to Alwaye to undertake the journey on[protected], The booking was made thru internet vide PNR no,[protected]. The schedule departure of the train from kottayam station is 11,40 Hours.. The train was running late by more than hour but no announcement was made till 12,40 Hours. Inquiry counter was unmanned. with the great difficulties I could get information from fellow passenger at 12.50 Hours that the train has developed some technical problem. I tried to reach to Station Master but the office was closed. The police picket at station is of no any use as the police peaple were not at all helpful. I was traveling with my wife and to catch a flight from Kochi Airport I had no other option but to engage a taxi at that point of time as the arrival time of the train was not till 13.00 Hours. Since I was running short of time and it was not possible for me to get the Confirm Ticket canceled, My repeated request to one of the counter went in vien as the counter staff insisted for standing in the queue despite the staff was not having any passenger in his counter. Since the train was running late and would not have reached on time at my destination,all probability I would have missed the flight at 16.00 Hours. Now I request that I may be refunded the amount of Ticket which I could not use for travel due to deficient service of the Railays.

                      I Mr. J D.JOSHI, Citizen of India, traveled as on 22/01/11 which schedule time from Ahmadabad was 23:55. My PNR NO.[protected], TRAIN NO. 12833. Coach no. S-12.My travelling start from Ahmadabad to Nagpur (Maharashtra).
                      Sir, I was very disappointment for the service and attitude of pantry car personnel. Initially there was no order taken by any of them till 12 p.m., when they take order, they serve food at 13.00 pm and which was very low grade and having only 2 chappati in that meal. for that they charged 50/- Rs. when we ask them for bill of that food, they were neglecting. During the journey i asked them about bill approximately 08 time, but no positive answer from them. at last one of passenger from west bengal who is travelling with us, call central railway officer and request them to meet us at nagpur railway station, when we reach there. Lot of passenger in our bogue launch a complaint to designation authority from nagpur sation master. I wish attached my complaint with those people.There was an instruction plate near entrance and exit gate of our bouge in which toll free no. was mention by railway, which was erased by some people.
                      Sir, we expect from your kind honor to look into the matter as most urgently basis. As we know that" CUSTOMER AND CONSUMER IS THE KING OF MARKET".
                      Plz. note the complaint point as below:-
                      1. Poor quality of food,
                      2. Poor service,
                      3.Non-supply of bill,
                      4. Arrogant attitude by pantry personnel,
                      5. Over charging of products.as compare to quality and quantity.
                      Hope your kind honor will give us right justice in this matter of cheating and misbehavior

                        i writing about complain against indian railway parcel system. i have booked a parcel (A Hero Honda splendor+) thru railways parcel service on 05th Jan 2011. (Billti number K 108320) at Barmer Railway station. It was to send from Barmer to Etawah. distance between them 850 km.

                        At the time of booking external agencies were asking for extra money to sent that on the same day. But I denied saying that I would pay only the money which is determined by railway. I booked the parcel and I was told that it will be sent in next two days. but till date 23 jan11 i have not received my Bike at Etawah.No body says at Barmer Station and Jodhpur Station about my bike delivery status. I am going to marriage in next month . i fell very sad about Railway parcel system, i think there should also have ONLINE PARCEL BOOKING SYSTEM like railway ticket system. please take necessary action

                          This is to inform you in brief that the undersigned along with my brother Shri Subrata Paul, his wife Smt. Mili Paul and my ailing mother were returning to Kolkata from MUMBAI by 12151 Dn SAMARSATA EXPRESS on[protected] after medical check up of my mother Smt. Gayatri Paul at the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital. My mother is a cancer patient and she was administered Chemotherapy treatment there.

                          We were travelling in a AC II tier – in coach no A1, Berth No. 13,14,15 and 11. Before alighting in Howrah station (near Santragachi station) we detected that our suitcase which had all the money and medical documents of my mother along-with PAN card of Shri Subrata Paul, debit cards of both the undersigned and Shri Subrata Paul etc. was stolen. We do not know when the theft took place. The suite case was locked and kept tied with chain and lock. The theft was done in such expert manner that we were completely unaware of it till we examined our luggage. The theft in all probability took place between Bilashpur to Rourkela.

                          We had informed the railway authority immediately on arrival at Howrah and have submitted written complaint (copy attached). We have indicated a fellow passengers Shri Shakti Shah (PNR No.:[protected]) who boarded the train at Kalyan and was walking with a crutch. He changed his berth no 10 (upper berth) with our berth no 11. Later on we came to know that he had two companions who were travelling in the same compartment. They apparently got down at ‘JHARSUGUDA’.

                          I may add here that the coach attendant was not of any help. Most of the time we found that the door of the compartment was kept open. We did not find any RPF or GRP personnel in the compartment.

                          The reason for seeking help from you is mainly to retrieve the valuable medical documents of my mother, ATM –Cum-Debit card (belonging to the undersigned & my brother) and most importantly the hard earned money, amounting to more than Rs 60,000/- (Rupees Sixty thousand) only which was saved for immediate requirements of my ailing mother.

                          Copies of the FIR for theft along with written application to the O.C, Shalimar ‘GRPS’ (duly receipted) is enclosed for your ready reference.

                          The incident took place on 13-14 January, so far we have not received any feedback from the railway authority.

                          We implore you with folded hands to convey necessary directives to the O.C. Shalimar GRPS for an early and proper investigation with a view to track down the offender and help us salvage our mother’s Medical Documents and the money together with MEDICLAIM policy of Shri Subrata Paul and his wife Smt. Mili paul (Policy No. 030600/48/09/06/00005348 o[censored]nited India Insurance Co) at an early date. Especially the medical documents of my mother is o[censored]tmost importance since she is a cancer patient and has to undergo routine checkups regularly. Loss of these documents may cause serious problem for carrying out her treatment.

                            In train no.2484 .ASR /KCVL express..

                            we book and pay for for 2nd Ac coach then have full harrased journey all the way from goa to chandigarh and back journey also.they make half coach 2nd and half coach 3 Ac leading to confusion in seat no..and availability..during whole 2 days journey,,,ridiculous behavour in such 200 crore populated country ..u don,t have even 2 separate coaches for Ac..such 2470 km jouney..that too after paying..

                            we want permanent soltion to this train ac coaches problem..
                            since we r regular visitors for gonng to home chandigarh from goa..

                              Iam an Air Force Personnel and Iam on leave from[protected] to[protected] at kalyan junction,I wanted to transfer my bike to my home town at kalyan thats why I booked the bike from ambala to dadar junction on[protected] so that I can recieve it at the destination myself and get the registration done here,that was the only pretext of taking leave.I had booked myself my motor cycle Hero Honda splendor on[protected], after that i had been regularly enquiring about the reciept at Dadar terminus but they are not in reciept of motorcycle till now.On further query by the parcel office at Dadar ambala parcel office stated that the motorcycle has been loaded in the train to nizamuddin, further no more deatils are known that where the vehicle is right now and even parcel at Nizamuddin is also not giving the right picture, this is highly irregular and i will be in trouble if I dont get my motorcycle before completion of my leave,please make necessary arrangments for loading my bike to Dadar terminus,please accord priority.My Parcel Way Bill No is H 848429 dated[protected], booked at Ambala Cantt to Dadar Terminus, Item One Hero Honda Splendor Bearing Registration No CH 03Q 6790.

                              Indian Railways — Non receipt of Hero Honda motor bike till date which was booked on 04-01-2011 at Ambala cantt to Dadar Terminus

                              Respected Sir,
                              My name is AM Nair Serving in Indian Air Force, I had Booked my Motor Bike Hero Honda Splendor against parcel booking at Ambala Cantt to Dadar Terminus on[protected].I had taken leave for recieving the bike at my home town i.e Dadar Terminus so as to Re-register my bike at home town, thats why I had booked my bike personally at Ambala before proceeding on leave.I had been regularly enquiring about the reciept of my bike at Dadar Parcel Office since[protected],but they are telling that they are not in reciept of the bike, On further query by them at Parcel Office Ambala they stated that they have loaded my bike in a train to Hazrat Nizamuddin ,which is highly irregular becuase my booking was for Dadar and there is direct train Dadar Amritsar Express from ambala cantt to dadar terminus,On enquiring by Parcel Office dadar on hot line at Delhi Rly station they are not giving any right picture of where my bike is right now and they are not responding even,In this case how do I get my bike and how do I track my bike when railways staff is not able to track it.Right now my leave is going to be completed by[protected], if I get my bike after that I will not be able to collect at the destination.Kindly help me to get my bike at the earlist,Please accord priority. My Parcel Way bill No H 848429 dated[protected],Bike Registration No is CH 03Q 6790 colour black.At present the further intimation recieved from Delhi is that my bike is at Delhi but it is not confirmed whether it is at New Delhi or Old Delhi,It is a great concern for me so do help me to get my bike at the earliest.Thanking You.
                              I have booked motorcycle CT 100 Registration no. UP 85 N4831 from mathura city railway station on 2/3/2011 to Ambala Cantt.against receipt D337646. According to officials at mathura they have loaded it in Jhelum express same day for Ambala cantt. So it has to reach Ambala (UMB) on 3/3/2011. I have visited ambala station 4 times from then and have received no satisfactory response from them as to where the bike is. I have to travel from chandigarh to ambala just to check whether they have traced the bike or not. neither they are giving any of their contact nos. Pl help to trace the bike

                              Personnel — non receipt of my motorcycle till date

                              Sir,
                              i booked my motor cycle through railways vide RR no 067983 in jaisalmer railway station dated 25/05/12. The destination is ramanathapuram (rmd). Still date. i didnt received my motor cycle. The registrarion no of the motor cycle is CH01AJ 1811. i personnally confirmed by friends that the motor cycle despatched in in the same date in train no 14809 jsm- ju exp. And from jodhpur the bike despatched to ahamedabad in local train in front slr on 29/05/2012. The runs from ju- adi at 0800am. Further i am unable to confirm or trce out the same . P lease sir look into my matter and help me to get my bike earlier as possible.

                                  Dear Authorities,
                                  With a great disappointment and grief you are being informed that there is the biggest anarchism which I have ever seen in my life. The incident usually takes place in HAD (the train which tends to DELHI from HATHRAS KILHA). No security to ladies, kids and Senior citizens. No law and order. People after the Aligarh Junction (especially in between KHURJA JUNCTION to GHAZIABAD JUNCTION) start misbehaving to fellow passengers and sometimes things lead to fight as well. I have seen the incident that a Railway Police staff guy asked a senior citizen to leave his place for him. Hope there is humanity in our country called INDIA. I cannot speak about the staff as I don’t find the words to explain their cheapness and corruption. They misbehave at ticket windows for small change or sometimes even for one rupee which they are supposed to return to any passenger, after deducting entire ticket cost. Please not that most of the public at Hathras or nearby do farming so called farmers. You must value there single paisa as well.

                                    I had booked ticket from Nagpur to Pune for undertaking journey dated 2810/2099 having PNR Number: [protected] from credit card of my younger brother Pranav Meghal. I have already claimed for return of the fare of Rs. 1131 since the train was late more than 3 hours. However, despite constant communication with IRCTC as also with the railway authorities, it is regretted to inform you that so far i have not got the refund of the said ticket. The other details of the ticked and the train number etc. is given in the attached image, kindly find the same.

                                    In view of the above, I request you to takeup the matter on urgent basis since it is more than a year now.

                                      Today on 16.01.2011 I boarded Vikramshila Express (12368)from Anand Vihar terminus in AC first class for Bhagalpur. It was surprising to see lot of rats roaming around on the floors of cabin. I talked with cleaning staff who was putting room fresheners here and there. I asked them to do something for rats. It was surprising to note that they were handicapped about rats as housekeeping checklists were for mosquitoes and cockroaches and not about rats and do not have anything for rats. Serving pantry staff told that lot of rats are in pantry and they come from yards to coaches .
                                      I think something needs to be done about rat threat to Indian railways. I have raised my complain about the matter on housekeeping feedback form given by Sh. Bibhas Kr.Sah Sup. housekeeping and coach attendant Santosh Kr Pandey. Staff were nice and cooperative but unable to do something about it. I will like to bring rats in the agenda of housekeeping. Lot of railway staff see rats every day but do not feel to tell about it or if they tell no one is listening. Irresponsibily about betterment of services to the passengers it is bad . I Feel some one is responsible and I want to communicate to him. My mob no. is [protected].I want to listen that some thing is done by railways to resolve the issue..

                                        theft in Rajdhani.......laptop and digital camera by breaking locks......KOLKATA HOWRAH RAJDHANI*** STAR TRAIN OF INDIA. Its a same for all indians like us.
                                        We are coming back from honeymoon in New Delhi- Howrah (kolkata Rajdhani) on 10-1-11.We found (IN THE MORING -WHEN JUST KANPUR STN. HAD CROSSED)our trolly bags locks break and Laptops(Dell Inspiron model black and Silver) and Kodak digital camera with many many new articles lost on 11-1-11.Police didnot help us atall for looking up the lost materials.
                                        as for that We have launch FIR after reaching Howrah Station.
                                        THERE IS NO SECURITY ON THE TRAIN TILL MUGHULSORAI FROM DELHI.
                                        R.P.F. denied to take neccesary action on time and to take F.I.R.

                                        We have lost all our Honeymoon pics and videos .... ;(

                                        Its a same for aLL the indians as for train Like RAJDHANI EXp class 2A.

                                        Any body have found this Item or buy second hand please return.

                                        i agree because i have also lost my 4800 rs and kangan weighing 60-70gms in sealdah rajdhani on 28th dec 11 early morning at around 4.50am when i found that my hand bag ismissing . 15minutes prior to kanpur station, i tried to lodge fir on kanpur station but they denied. after half an hour we've come to know that few more bags had been stolen from different boggy's . bag s were found near toilets, after a thorough search my bag was ffound under some other passenger berth with the above said contents missing . we've lodged the complaint (new delhi staion)but we know inside from our heart that we've lost our belongings, because we are not safe on our own motherland not beacuse of this incident but so many reason and everybody can feel this .
