I AM MANISH, MAM ON INDIAN RAILWAYS' WEB PORTAL I WAS SEARCHING FOR THE AVAILABILITY OF TATKAL TICKETS IN (KARNATAKA EXP) ON[protected], I FOUND THAT THERE IS 240 SEATS AVAILABLE FROM THE NEW DELHI STATION TO BANGALORE STATION WHILE THE SAME TRAIN DOES'NT HAVE ANY SEAT AVAILANLE ON TATKAL BASIS FROM GWALIOR STATION TO SAME DESTINATION ON THE SAME DATE[protected]. HOW IT COULD BE POSSIBLE?

MAM, I AM SMELLING ANY KIND OF CORRUPTION AND RELATION B/W YOUR WEB PORTAL TEAM AND TICKET MAFIYAS.
PLEASE TAKE THIS ISSUE IN YOUR CONCERN AND PROVIDE THE IMMEDIATE SOLUTION.

    Trail from Patna To Himgiri Express late by 11 hrs on their actual departure time 10.00AM on dated 06/02/2011.
    As per the relu and also confermed from TTE, if the trail is late more than 3 to 4 Hrs, the cancillation charge not apply.But in the Patna Railway stationReservation counter, mony dedected 50% and during the discussion the pepole not justified me.Their are so mant crowed.
    This is mantly hrassment.

      i booked my belongings through railways parcel at aligarh junction for muzaffarpur junction on2 feb 2011 butt till today it has not reached there yet.the booking no was H917837.on inquiring it came to my knowledge that due to non availabilityof space in trains to muzaffarput, my goods were sent to kanpur on 5 feb via link express train; from where it will be sent to muzaffarpur.but still my goods havn't reached the destination

        Dear sir,
        My complaint is regarding 3 TDR's and amount received is not as per rules. As per rules refund sall be 100% instead of amounts paid by railways. Pl. look in to the matter and make full refund witout any further delay.

        Your reply does not gives any satisfactory answer. please lookinto the matter and take nercessary action for full refund. a copy of my initial mail is pasted below for your ready reference.

        Copy of complaint to railways.

        I have filed following 3 TDR's on 2nd Feb 11 against tickets booked for train no. 12987 from Sealdha to Agra Fort for journey on 1st Feb 11 . It become necessary to cancel the train tickets and book passengers by flight as train was running apprx.14 hrs late.

        To my surprise 2 TDR’s are approved but amount refunded is not as per rules. 3rd TDR which was for a Tatkal ticket still pending. As per IR rules full refund on all the tickets shall be allowed as train was running more than 3 hrs. late

          On Thursday, 3rd February, 2011,I, the undersigned alongwith my wife and two daughters travelled by 12163 Dn Dadar Chennai Egmore Superfast Express in 2nd AC Sleeper (A1) compartment--04052 vide ticket No.84960024 ..berth 13,37& 39from Kalyan to Renigunta thinking that travelling in 2nd AC alongwith my family would offer a better experience over a 2nd class sleeper but alas it turned out to be a bitter experience. That very night my wife got a fright of her life when she saw a huge bandicoot (rodent) criss-crossing the bogie without any fear. When we brought this to the notice of the coach attendant Mr. Suresh Omle, he shrugged off saying that the railways give us only poison to kill the small rats but nothing much can be done about this rodents. He further went on to add that these rodents may have entered this compartment through the underside of the vent when the train was parked in the yard for cleaning purposes and which was kept open as inverter exhaust.

          I never knew that on my return journey on 6th Feb 2011 from Renigunta to Kalyan in the same bogie 2nd AC (A1) compartment--04052 vide ticket No.[protected]berth no 1, 3 & 1 RAC,that I would become a victim of rodent menace and that I had to pay a price for complaining against the rodents which has made its habitat in this bogie, as rodents has torn to shreds my expensive Strolley (suitcase plus trolley) containing the expensive silk churidars and sarees of my wife,sports shoes,clothes of my daughter & shoulder bag. To complain against this damage brought about by the rodents ,when I woke up the conductor, Mr.S.K. Panda from his slumber in berth No.5,he refused to give me the complaint book and instead suggested that I may complain with the Station Manager at Kalyan. He went on to say as a Conductor I can only register an FIR against stolen goods and not about the damages brought about by rodents. Again the same attendant, Mr. Suresh Omle shrugged off saying I can’t do much. Finally when I got down at Kalyan Station,I approached the Dy. Station Manager’s Office, the personnel manning it tried to pass on the buck saying that you should have registered a complaint with the conductor and not with us. When I finally loss my patience and informed them that I will complain to the higher authorities, they relented and allowed me to register my complaint and also the torn strolley and carry bag was inspected by the personnel who were present in the cabin, copy of the complaint is attached herewith for your kind perusal.

          Today if bandicoots has torn to shreds my belongings in a 2nd AC bogie, I shudder to think that tomorrow it could be the turn of an infant or a toddler. This rodent could bite off the finger, arm or any part of the body with his or her parents blissfully unaware of what’s happening around and sleeping with the false sense of security of having paid a higher fare to sleep in the company of rodents. Little do they know that they have to pay a heavy price for the sheer callousness, negligence and inefficiency on the part of the railway authorities. These rodents can spread diseases like Plague & Leptospirosis too. As Indians, we are used to such things happening in poorly managed Govt.and Municipal hospitals across India but we never expected such a thing would happen in a Superfast train operating out of Mumbai, the commercial capital of India.

          Now, I fully understand why Indians Railways are unable to control dacoities and robberies in the train across India because if they are unable to fumigate and control the rodents in a so-called Superfast train charging superfast charges, how can they probably control dacoities and robberies which happen right under their nose and your personnel choose to look the other way.

            Sir,
            I had booked a raliway ticket for my family members thru internet using my credit card. On the day of travel, the ticket was cancelled due to late running of trains. The travel was from Nagpur to Kalyan on 19th June. A TDR was prompltly filed and followed up a number of times. The matter remains pending. I am attaching a file print of the communication.
            Request you to escalate and help me recover my dues from the railways.

              HI I am daily up and down from Navsari to Surat by train from last 8 years In morning time Memu train from Virar station to Surat station regularly time at Navsari station and lots of people pick up the train at the time but from last many days at surat station platform no 2 going of working for new tracks so memu train no go to surat station only to udhna station its ok i understand but any option from udhna to surat ??

              Ok as per udhna station master from udhna to surat one train bhusaval but only one train ??

              Ok but from navsari to udhna it will be take approx 30 min but from udhna to surat it will be take 45 to 1 hours it this possible ?? it will be acceptable ?? only one station between udhna to surat approx 5 to 6 kms but 45 mins i thing this unacceptable this is really totally harassment to passengers given by Indian Railways

              And your Udhna station master said if it will be long time please pick the auto rickshaw from udhna station and u will riched faster then train

              I understand the problem at surat station but why lots of people suffering ??
              Please i request to Indian Railways that arrange for same from udhan to surat
              Why u collect the full payment of railway reason pass ??
              Last time also same problem at surat station platform no 1 that time u promise that in 2 months it will be done but 7 to 8 months it has done It is the way ??

              Why u are not listen to your customers indian customers that is the problem that our indian is very past

              If 5 to 10 mins late it will be ok i know that indian railways is large network but 45 to 1 hours means lots of times lots of money

              Do u know that how many people traveling in memu train for job business its totally waste

              I[censored] are 45 mins late than our county also late 45 mins but u did not understand

              I[censored] have no power to change the system so please leave the job

              Why u always says that we are not responsible for that please accept the problem and u prove it that we can change the system

              Please see other county like usa china and his train meto only 5 mins and we take 45 mins for one station it this just joking

              try to resolve the problem not say that he is not my fault this is government notice from mumbai this is the

              Please understand the problems of passengers i am not blaming to u but thing of that time is waste only

                  Dear Railway Minister

                  Subject – Parcel not Searched and delivered.

                  Our Parcel has to be delivered to Durg station from Pune.
                  Our parcel was very expensive and it has food item in it which has to be stored in cool place and it was packed in thermocol boxes and ice in it. and it has to be open and stored in freezer within 20 hr.
                  We were present at the time of arrival of the train to collect our parcel although we have reminded the parcel officer for the same but when train arrived no one was present at platform they came 2 or 3 mins. after the arrival of train. When we asked them to check for our parcel they were refused to search our parcel boxes and said we are not responsible to find your boxes and they were not at all understanding the the problem which we'll face if the parcel will not be opened and stored in cool place.

                  Very rudely the said that go to Bilaspur you will get your parcel there. we send one person to collect the parcel in the same train and same story happened in Bilaspur as well... and we didn’t received our parcel.

                  Finally wen i am writing this complaint i have not received my parcel and i had a loss of 40000/- because whenever the parcel will be sent back to Durg Station my Raw Material will of no use.

I requested with TT and Station manager to help me regarding the issue they have harnessed me and my friend and said that they can not give any information. We are going to attend a conference at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research. That conference is very important for my carrier. Please help us regarding the same.

                    Indian Railways — Corruption in Railway ticket

                    I have experienced the similar experience. I had booked tatkal ticket from Howrah to Chennai. It was 44 waiting list while booking. after charting it was 4 waiting list. but i couldnt found my name in the chart. I was surprised to see that after mine. waitinglist 55 56 etc were confirmed. the chart also they list just one hour before departure of train.

                    This is very uncomfortable situtation. I had to travel without reservation.

                      People who uses to go with reservations & regular they cant communicate to the inquiry (PURULIA Jn-PRR) because for last 3 years the landline phone is out of service.
                      When we asked for any other number to know about the train status they suggest to dial 139 which is not pure unfriendly to know about the train...
                      So my complain is that what for the the phone (enquiry no of PURULIA JUNCTION) still missing ?

                        Every time we book ticket either online or offline for Azad Hind express,no one informs that this train will be super late like 12 to 20 hrs late... which leads to very frustrating situations specially i[censored] r with family.

                        Train departments should know this very well.... I think they know all this but how to earn money n all... Agents comes n asks for alternate options... which adds icing on cake of that tension.

                        We personally been through worst experience of waiting on platform at Bhusawal Junction for 13 hrs.

                        Solution can be : either start a new train from Bhusawal to Pune... or inform traveller on ticket purchasing itself tht this thing going to give you sad experience like we had... So that in advance people will be aware and can take care of tht.

                          Today I am travelling from Chennai to Hyderabad by Hyderabad Exp with my family (Me, Wife and a kid 2,5 yr old), I booked my ticket around 15 days before for 3rd AC. At the time of booking the ticket was WL 9 and 10. At the time of journey it was RAC 1 and 2. I got a side lower berth 47 to share with my family. Because my ticket was on the top of RAC list I expected a separate berth after few stations. There are other people whi are also travelling on RAC. I talked with TTE regarding this and TTE assurred me that when a berth is vacant he will allot it to me. Ultimately I found that person who have tickets with RAC 3 and 4 got confirmed berths instead of me. I approached to TTE and the TTE is unable to provide me a valid reason. Ultimately I have to travel with my family on a single seat which is very painfull. These TTEs are completely corrupt and degrading the service of Indian Railway.

My mother Smt Kokilabai Gorakh Patil is apply for family pension after expired my father we are submit all necessary documents like PPO Order, Death Certificate of my father, Passbook front page xerox of my father & mothers A/c & life certificate of my mother to State Bank of India Branch Sindkheda Dist-Dhule (Maharastra) my mother A/Cs No- [protected] but till on today[protected] my mother can not received her pansion.

                              In day trains starting from chennai egmore second class sitting accommodation is not provided in certain trains as mentioned below:

                              1. TRICHY EXP TRAIN NO.16853 DEP AT EGMORE 8.20 HRS ARR AT TRICHY 16.25 HRS

                              2. RAMESWARAM
                              EXP TRAIN NO.16713 DEP AT EGMORE 17.00HRS ARR AT TRICHY 22.35 HRS.

                              what is the necessity for ONLY sleeper accommodation during day time without providing second sitting.
                              the second sleeper accommodation is more costlier and not necessary for many passengers. So I request the RAILWAY ADMINISTRATION to provide second sitting accommodation with reservation facility
                              for senior citizens like me in the above mentioned trains.

                                Me and my friends are travelling from Hosur to Yesvanthpur daily by train.
                                By morning we are travelling with train number HY1 (Hosur - yesvantpur passenger) and by Evening we taking 6527(yesvantpur jn to kannur) , These both trains are running late everyday now.

                                HY1 trains starts late in hosur and it reaches near to yesvantpur Jn and it stopped for above 20min. later it reaches its platform(this is the daily problem that we are facing)

                                Evening train number 6527(yesvantpur jn to kannur) is running late it is stopped in between and it reaching Hosur late.. (From past 2 week this was running late due to several reasons).

                                Distance between Hosur to yesvantpur station is 67 kms we are traveling more than 2 hours.. if train runs correctly then we is to reach 1.15 hours..
                                I request improve the train service between hosur and yesvanthpur jn and also between Hosur and Bangalore city Jn. This trains are also getting delay between Hosur and Bangalore city Jn...

                                  this is regarding the inconvenience suffered due to negligent staff and catering services on-board the Rajdhani express to Bangalore for Nizamudin station Delhi.

                                  train details-
                                  train number 12430 Rajdhani express.
                                  travel date- 2nd feb 2011

                                  the duration of this journey is about 35hours and it has been very inconvenient to travel for such a long time with absolutely terrible services. the food is not served on time. it is cold and probably stale. there is different food served in different classes. and in-spite of opting for non vegetarian meal it was refused to be served.

                                  enough drinking water was not provided and we were told that only one bottle of water would be given for each person. water was given after a long argument with the ppl in-charge. not only drinking water but even for other requirements like washing and toilet use there was no water.

                                  the floor was dirty and the toilet was in a terribly dirty state. it was stinking and was not cleaned properly.

                                  this was a matter of concern to not only us but to all other passengers as well, and in spite of repeated requests and negotiations there was absolutely no effort by the service boys to make anything better. this also led to many unpleasant arguments through the journey.

                                  rajdhani is supposed to be the best amongst all the available train services, and if after paying 2000rs for a ticket this is the way passengers are treated, then i wonder what happens otherwise.

                                  not only travel but even the inquiry services are so bad that after trying to reach the inquiry number for an entire day there is no one to take the call.

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    The Indian Railway Welfare Organisation was arrenged for dwelling units of varius type named on "Rail Vihar" at Asansol only for Railway employees, being a Railway employee I was booked for type IV dwelling unit on may 2005, and also received allotment letter No. IRWO/Asansol/ ALT/0001004.
                                    But unfotunetly the organiser decided to shelve the construcion of type IV units in this project. So, I informed many times to the General Manager/IRWO to refund my booking amount of Rs 50,000/ with interest, which was deposited on bank draft No.312276(SBI) dated[protected].

                                    I shall be highly obliged if you kindly investigate the matter, so that I get it refund my money.

                                      my son was booked one residential type IV flat with booking money Rs.50,000 at Asansol developing by IRWO/Newdelhi. But suddenly the they have calcelled to construction of this type of flat.
                                      so, my son was requested to return his money many times.But stil now it is laying in non refudable condition. plese see the documents attached herewith.

                                        I have been using ATVM card for my travel between Velachery and Mylapore regularly. I used to get my to-and-fro ticket from the ATVM dispenser in Velachery.
                                        For the past few months one of the two ATVM dispenser was not working properly as the pointer of the touch screen was not recognizing the finger touch. Almost all people were made to use the second dispenser. Today, the dispenser which was functioning properly was totally down with some error message displayed on the screen and people were forced to use the malfunctioning one. It was extremely difficult to get a ticket printed out from this machine. What used to take normally 2-3 minutes to get the ticket printed out took almost 15minutes today.

                                        Will the authorities look into this issue on priority as there is always a huge queue piled up during the peak hours at the Velachery station?
