Travel from mysore to bangalore - reservation done for 11:10 airawat.

My wife reached the bus stand at 10:15 in the morning and from that time, every bus which came, they just told the reservation related to this pnr is not in that bus. So she had to wait for more than 1 and half an hour. The bus was supposed to be at 11:10.

Till 12 there was no clue about the bus. The kstrc people in the bus stand (drivers, ticket collectors and officers) also just kept on telling us to wait.
None of the airawata buses had this reservation. Then they asked her to buy a ticket and go.

The reservation made could not be cancelled online as the travel had started already.

We had reserved to avoid the problems of standing in queues as we had our son along. This was really annoying. She had to go through a lot of trouble, having our son also with me.

It was totally crude way of handling. I was proud to see online services in our country and state for state transport as well. This was a real biter experience.

Would I atleast get the refund? I have complained to the department.

    I have booked my ticket through online and it got cancelled on 8th Dec 2011. But still i haven received my refundable amount. If i am calling customer care, they are just giving some other number and disconnecting the call. The same story in the next number also. I tried around 7 nos, but no one is responding properly.       I was travelling y an early bus from Srinivasapur to Banaglore, and the conductor forgot to issue an ticket fro the starting point. And when asked for the ticket in Kolar issued me a ticket fro Kolar to Bangalore bearing the ticket number 237897 B13583 A[protected]N for 50 Rs and when asked to issue an manual ticket from Srinivasapur to Kolar for which he received the money of 22Rs refused do it and was saying that he cannot issue manual tickets whenever possible. This throws light on the improper functioning of the staff and also on the consumer rights and would like to book a complaint on the same. Hoping that this issue will be resolved and this doesnt happen with someone again. He is a conductor who is been posted from the Srinivasapur depot, Kolar Division and the bus is a regular bus that travels from Srinivasapur to Hornadu and i am a regular traveller in this route.

      I also mentioned that my father is an ex staff of KSRTC and was working as an chEcking inspEctor but he was abusing badly and was not agreeing to his mistake.


      But when he has issued me a ticket for 50 Rs. it was is duty to either take only 50 Rs or issue an ticket for 72, as he is using an electronic ticket machine thats not possible but he can always issue an manual ticket.

        Hi,
        I had booked a bus ticket through ksrtc website on[protected] from Hubli to Hyderabad (journey date:[protected] Rajahamsa executive). But i cancelled the same ticket on[protected] because of some reasons. After cancellation I got a sms saying that your ticket has been cancelled and your amount will be refunded to your account within 7 working days. Till today the amount has not been refunded to my account. The PNR number is T25859954.I called KSRTC help line 4-5 times and asked about the same thing they said they have refunded it on 3rd november itself. But till now the amount has not been credited in my account.

            on 21.9.2011, I S.S.Bharath, Advocate High Court of Karnataka was about to leave from Hassan to Kukke subramanya and i Along with my aged parents and with my sister was waiting for a bus to the said place at about 3.05 pm in new Bus stand Hassan, and at about 3.10 pm one Volvo Airavat bus has come to the said Bus Stand from Bangalore and it was about to leave to Mangalore and it was not completely filled and i mean to say is, many seats were vacant at that time and i went forward to enquire about the fare and seat arrangements in that bus and i requested the conducter to say about the fare till Gundya and he did not replied me and he made me to wait for 2 to 3 minutes to have answer and when he told the fare also he was very arrogant and he was behaving like he will take us to his own bus and he was acting like he is the owner of the bus and after about 1 minute i stepped inside the bus and saw that there were only 3 seats vacant and we were 4 members and we decided to not to go by the said bus and we were standing outside and then the driver of the said bus has enquiered the conductor of the bus that whether we will step in to that bus or not? suddenly the conductor of that bus said like as follows,,,,,,these faces are not seems to be coming by this bus and they are here only to enquire and they does not have capacity to travell by this type of bus( kannda version as he said can be seen in the next bracket)(ee mukhagalu ee bus li prayana mado yogyate padedilla mattu ivaru bari vichariso mukhagalu) after this we all felt very bad and it was for our shock and strange that my father and me and my sister and my mother everybody felt very bad and it was not tollerable and we did not opened our mouth and the people who stood arround us were laughed at us after hearing the words spoken by the conductor and we all were really insulted by the conductor, Hence this complaint and

            For the reasons stated above i request your goodself to take necessary action as per Law againt the Conductor and to instruct the said conductor and other conductors not to repeat the said type of attitude towards the respected citizens of the state

              I, Chetana Acharya, aged 22 years and residing at Udupi,had booked one seat in KSRTC Rajahamsa Bus for 30.08.2011 10.10 PM from Mysore to Udupi with seat Number 3 through an agent at INFOSYS Campus Mysore. On 30.08.2011,I left Infosys campus by Volvo bus to Mysore Bus Stand to board Udupi bus.after reaching bus stand, I found that the ticket which I kept at my hip pocket was missing. I contacted controller of KSRTC at Mysore and informed the matter. He rudely said," Lost the ticket? Go and sit in the seat and purchase the ticket again". He never want to listen me in spite of my showing the identity and also my name is appearing in the trip sheet. Since the bus was about to leave the station, I had no option but to board the bus and purchase the ticket again by paying Rs 346/-(Ticket no 128460) as I was alone and nobody was there to help. I sat on the same seat number 3 which I was reserved earlier.
              Hence I request you to help me in getting the amount Rs346/- back.

                Respected Sir,

                I have shifted in Bangalore nearly 2 years back and there is a regular problem I am facing.

                The problem is, conductors do not render the change money. So many times it happened that despite of having coins (we can hear sound) in the bags, they say that change is not there. Also, If we ask the ticket for small denominations, they take the money and do not give tickets. Which directly goes in their pocket.

                Today (30/08/11) the same problem happened. I asked money back (03 Rs) and conductor dint return it despite of me asking many times. Later, I was scolded by him and I was told that he doesnt have the change. I was sure that change is there and I asked him to show me the bag, which he denied. My ticket no is 413856. Trust that you understand that it is not money which matters.

                Sir, we go through this kind of humilitaion on day to day basis. Moreoevr, this is loss to Govt also.

                I would request you to look in to the matter seriously and also kindly let me know the action which is taken against the above said conductor.

                  dear all
                  i travel bangalore to sindhanur on 17/08/2011 along with 2 member per person fare 297 and while coming i came from sindhanur to bangalore fare is 301 per person.......i spoke with controller in sindhanur bus stop and the controller does not know the difference on the fare rhan we check with other bus which bus coming from devadurg to bangalore in that bus fare is sindhanur to bangalore its only 295.............why there is difference in the fare for same place ...........who has to bare the difference amount............

                  when i was asking the controller complaint book for log complaint he not gave the compalint book . instead of the complaint book i was giving me the change that is difference amount(4rs).........

                    Dear Sir,

                    There is a regular Volvo service by KSRTC to Kottayam at 1915 hrs. It is strange that on 30/08/2011 (31st is Id and 1st is Ganesh Chaturthi) there is no regular Volvo service, insteady there are two special buses on the same route at 1933 hrs and 1943 hrs. The charge on the regular bus is Rs 633/- for adult whereas on the special bus it is Rs 1018/-. I can understand some extra charge on a special bus, but why cancel the regular bus and instead introduce a special bus. This is an unfair practice and KSRTC is trying to collect extra money from customers just like private operators do.

                      I'm one of the frequent BMTC bus traveler.The conductors are looting money with out issuing the tickets.Even,If we ask also they don't mine or bothered.I'm requesting BMTC department to take action and save government money.The looting is in crocs every month.
                      Consider a conductor is looting 500rs/- per a day.Imagine there are around 1000 buses then the total amount looting per a day by the conductors is 50,000rs.If we consider per month 1.5 crocs.please take action immediately and save public money.

                      I am a regular bus traveler.I went to marathalli due to some ergent work on 14th aug in 2011.I took a bus from marathalli bridge to return to my house.I gave 10 rupees to bus conductor for kalayanmandava.He took the money without giving me any tickets.First, I thought that he had not any change.So, I asked him about the money.He behaved like that he knew nothing about this.Unfortunately, I was unable to get down at kalanyanmandava due to this matter.

                      I would like to get attention to KSRTC bus controlled office for prevention of public harragement from bus conductors.
                      I also request to karnataka government to save the public money which is looting by these bus conductors.If we don't prevent this then I think that we have forgotten the meaning of 15th august.

                          Myself Gayathri Sabarish, and my user name is ganasaba , i
                          booked tickets for the journey from mysore to coimbatore for 7 th
                          august 2011 in AIRAVAT ( VOLVO A/C ) BUS ( trip code 1430myscbt)
                          through on line on 5th august 2011 with my Dena bank debit card.before
                          that when i tried for booking in this on line 2 times my transaction
                          was failed after i entering my bank details ( ref.no OB4228722 & OB4229101), 3rd time transactions has accepted and ireceived my tickets on my mail. but 2 failed transactions also get-debited from my bank account sum of 442+ 442 that is total 884.So i kindly request u to refund the excess payment of Rupees 884/-( eight hundred eighty four only ) as soon ..I enclosed the copy of my journey ticket and mini statement of my bank account. .

                              I had booked a ticket for my mother in KSRTC - Rajahamsa Executive bus (Trip Code 2144BNGJMK) for 31st July, 2011 and specified pick up point as Navarang Park. However when the bus came and I was holding the bag and ticket and was waiting it to stop, the bus didn't stop at all at Navarang and nobody responded to the number mentioned in the ticket - [protected]. I then enquired at KSRTC ticket counter, Navarang and when that guy called, the conductor told the bus was just after Navarang signal and waiting. I, for the safer side, took the car and the bus was waiting after 3km from the pick up point! Luckily I had car so I could drop. If any lady is alone how she can go? City buses don't ply there and it is not safe to take auto at 10 30 PM. The conductor is highly irresponsible and he didn't even apologize for not stopping. Now it also loss for the KSRTC because now I don't feel like traveling in it. I am a regular commuter from last 5 years. Please ensure such incidents do not repeat in future and KSRTC has to apologize for the same. Since only one ticket was booked from Navarang, KSRTC can find me and apologize.

                                Iam a regular customer of Karnataka RTC. I usually book my ticket through the nearest local agent always, but some times through Internet site of KSRTC.in because of convenience.



                                I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Ernakulam on 02/07/2011 and return ticket on 04/07/2011 through Internet facility KSRTC.in (ID: jinokurian).



                                Ticket Details:



                                Bangalore to Ernakulam

                                Date – 02/07/2011

                                Time – 8:13pm

                                Start point – Electronic City Depot

                                Class of Service – Airavat (Volvo)

                                PNR No - J24265874

                                Trip Code - 1929BNGEKM



                                I reached Electronic city Depot by 8:00pm and shown my ticket print out in the counter. Counter person (a lady) told me that, this particular bus is late for 45 minuts and because of late coming driver may not stop for dinner.

                                I went for dinner first floor of Electronic city depot (Hotel Pallavi) and came back by 8:35pm and seated on the side of Counter (on Concrete bunch).



                                I waited till 9:15pm. In between one Kottayam Airavat bus and one Rajahamsa is stopped for passengers and passed.

                                But no Ernakulam Airavat Volvo has come to the bus stop. I went and ask to the counter about the bus, he answered that he doesn’t know because my ticket is not booked from this counter.

                                One another person from counter came and told me this bus is already passed by 9:00pm, but it is not come to the bus stop.



                                I called helpline number[protected],[protected] which is mentioned in ticket. But no one picks the call.



                                The argument happens between me and Electronic city counter person. He told me that, “this ticket is not booked from this counter. So you can do whatever you want”.



                                I wouldn’t know what to do? I was totally upset and gone to kerala by local bus. But I reached Ernakulam by 1:00pm 03/07/2011. I missed my urgent and important function in Ernakulam by 9:00am.



                                My argument was “This bus is not come to the Electronic city depot bus stop. If the bus comes, they should call on mobile phone number which is provided while booking the ticket. Internet booking is costing more by service charges and infrastructure fee”. But rejection and no acceptance is with any bus stop counter.



                                One more passenger was waiting for same bus on this bus stop. He cancelled his trip due to this incident.



                                I strongly feel, this type of operation is ridiculous and cannot acceptable. This incident causes wastage of my money, time and mental agony.



                                Now, we corporate friends are thinking about alternative bus transport for better service.

                                Many o[censored]s from Fort Kochi and closer by areas are travelling daily to Aroor, Eramalloor, Thuravoor, Cherthala, and Allapuza daily in connection with our employment.
                                Why dont you arrange a FP service from Fort Kochi bus stand around 7.45 - 8.00 a m in the morning and also an evening trip towards Fort Kochi
                                This will be of great help to us ladies, and will certainly be effective.

                                      Sir/madam,

                                      I Dr.Vivek Jogani, a resident of Mumbai, and dentist by profession have been travelling to Davangere and Bangalaore very often from Mumbai. I am regular traveller via KSRTC-Airavat volvo service, past 3 odd years. This is one of the best services I have come across; punctuality, hospitality and safety been the key features.

                                      But, I am sorry to say that, off late, your service is been deteriorating and becoming verse day by day. All thanks to your mumbai-bangalore airavat drivers and bus keepers. On 11 june 2011 sunday 5.00 pm, I had boarded bus no: KA 01 F 9164 at from mumbai- sion to davangere. To my horror was the concept taught to me by the bus driver was that the bus wont enter Davangere bus stand and I will have to alight the bus in the middle of the highway. All these years the bus has stopped at Davangere bus stand and all of a sudden this time the bus driver and keeper said that it wont. Moreover it was raining and no rickshaws were available. When I resisted from getting down, the bus drivers were harsh, used abusive language and even threatened that they wont stop; which they did. After I told them that I would call the local police, they changed the route and entered davangere bus station finally. This was at par after causing immense inconvenience to me and my fellow co-passengers.

                                      sir/ madam, no doubt KSRTC is one of the best services been offered in INDIA BUT THE QUALITY IS BEEN degrading day by day. I request you to, therefore, take stern action against such bus drivers and cleaners and deal with them accordingly.

                                        I have traveled from Ernakulam to Puthenkruz on 16/06/11by a KSRTC Fast passenger bus started from Ernakulam depot at 9.30pm to Muvattupuzha Depot.
                                        As it was after 10pm, I requested the conductor to stop the bus at Mananthadam stop, that is before Puthenkruz. But the conductor refused to stop the bus and he stoped only at Puthenkruz. As it was heavily raining, i had lot of difficulties to come back to my bus stop in the late night. I request you to take necessary action in this regard.

                                        KSRTC — Bus not stopping at bus stops

                                        Date of Incident : 30th October 2010
                                        Bus route : Ernakulam to Pathanamthitta via Thiruvankulam, Piravam, Kottayam and Thiruvalla.
                                        Time : Reaches Thiruvankulam @ approximately 6.15 am

                                        I take this particular bus on a regular basis to commute from Thiruvakulam to Thiruvalla. On 30th of October 2010 as usual I was waiting for this particular bus at Thiruvankulam, the bus reached Thiruvankulam late, ie, by around 6.25 AM. There were other passengers also waiting along with me. The driver did not bother to stop the bus, making all o[censored]s fools, the bus went away very fast. The bus was not crowded as well. How could the driver not stop the bus at Thiruvankulam as it being a major stop and so many passengers were waiting there.These kind of behaviors are not expected and appreciated from KSRTC staff as it is for the service of the people. The fellow passengers suffer a lot because of these kind of incidents. I wonder whether any actions are action, if no actions are not taken, request you to look into this matter urgently. I have already dropped complaints in the complaint boxes. This surely has caused lot of inconvenience and I reached the destination an hour late.
                                        My question is why buses are allocated for particular routes if they are not stopping there. If this the case, the bus can have only two stops, one from where the bus starts and one the last stop. I would request you to look into this issue and take immediate and necessary action. So that passengers do not have to suffer like this.

                                        KSRTC, Kerala — Not stopping at Legal Bus stops

                                        I am venugopal & boarded on Bus no. KL 15 7617 from North Paravoor & took ticket for kodungalore vide ticket no. 00043714, 6.44 p.m. and paid Rs.9/-. When the Bus reached the Kodungalore North Nada stand the conductor refused to stop the bus & took me to the next stop i.e. Kodungalore pvt bus stand stop. I had to come back by 15 minutes walking, to my required stop. Then I Saw a KSRTC Bus was dropping & picking the passengers from the North Nada stop. Bus conductor was arrogant & refused to stop the bus at North Nada Bus Stand. Please clarify & give the official stops of KSRTC at Kodungalore.
                                        Sir,

                                        I had traveled from Trivandrun to Venjaramoodu by KSRTC Trivandrum-Idukki-Kattappana Super fast bus on 15/7/12 at 23:48 Hrs.
                                        The Conductor in this bus was behaving very brutally to all passengers at mid night. I am also a victim for this. I gave Rs. 101 for Rs. 21 ticket fare. I physically saw change in his bag, but he refused to give me balance amount and dropped me at Vembayam Junction at mid night and purposefully asked me to collect the change from shops. There was no shops opened at midnight their. For my goodness I saw one of my friend their and I collect changes from him and refunded the 100 Rs given to the conductor.
                                        I hear by request you to take necessary action against him for this kind of behavior with passengers.
