I have cancelled my ticket for Bangalore - Pune. PNR No is J29544299. Total amount of the ticket is Rs. 1333. Date of journey is 26/04/2012. But till now I haven't received the refund amount (after deduction of cancellation charges) back in my SBI aacount. I've contacted on KSRTC email ID's [protected]@ksrtc.org and [protected]@ksrtc.org. I've received email saying that - 'contact account section on following email ID's 22221321/22221325, Ext: 280-for SBI and 283-for other banks'. I called up on the given phone numbers (on working days), nobody is answering the call.

Please help me in this matter.

    Respected sirmadam
    My self TharunaSree, travelling from Jyoti Nivas College to kormangala depot in KSRTC Bus on 2nd May 2012 @ 3.15 to 3.45 in the evening. Bus number was KA 01, FA- 1617 which is a ksrtc pushpak bus, the bus number is 171. The conductor of the Bus was very rudly behaving. When i entered the bus i should my pass to the conductor he said my pass was lapsed as i don no to read and write kannada it was my mistake and i mmediately paid him rs 5; and when asked for the ticket he grew wild and demanded Rs.7 and gave me the ticket the ticket number is J93 809186 but refused to return my pass. when asked for a reason he was not ready to tell and started passing offensive comments wen i said my photo is in the pass.

    When i asked the name of Conducter, he was not ready to tell. I also observed that he was not wearing his batch through which we can identify his name and the depot to which the bus belongs. However i asked him this bus is from which depot, he said it from Kormangala Depot. Why the conducter is not wearing his batch and when he himself cant fulfill his rules and disciplines and being a educated why should we have to listen to them and face the situation which insults us.i request the ksrtc department to provide these drivers and conductors a training and to teach them a basic manner and discipline in which they have to speak to the public.

    Can the KSRTC solve my query and give the conductor a warning.I am very sure that the KSRTC department doesnt take any action against them ; and i can pass this comments as the driver and the conductor only insisted me to file a complaint and also passed a comment that i can do nothing even if i file a complaint as you dont take any action against them.As in this case there is no matter of money, its matter of my insult.       Very Very rude and horribly abusive conductor and driver of bus KA 34 01 8471 from Mantralala to Bangalore on 15/04/2012, Airawat Bus PNR:J29391865, TRIP CODE: 2120MNTBNG

      The conductor speaks Third grade languages and swears in front of ladies and is not at all apologetic for even one bit for his behavior. He even provoked me to go an file a complaint, as in his own words " yaaru shhta kitkolalla ".
      This is a heinous act against customers and that too just because we were searching for our slippers which had slipped and reached under someone else's seat while getting down from bus in KG bus stand and it delayed no one ( as we were last to get down ) and caused no harm ( no traffic jam , in contrary to what the conductor said ) as it was 0445 in the morning .
      Instead of helping customers which is expected at the least, he started abusing in third grade language.
      I am ready to give any more information regarding this and to follow this up.
      This was the most horrific experience I and my Family had with KSRTS so far, which had more or less made us loose faith in the system itself.
      If no action is taken on that manner less conductor and driver, its a shame on the mighty KSRTC system.
      This is with utmost regret I am writing this complaint. The conductor did not even care for the ladies present. He even abused them.
      This is totally intolerable, and that conductor has to be taught a lesson and some manners.
      Please just see that he cannot get away after doing such things. Its a humble request

        On any given day Hundreds of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Buses Enter and Exit, Swar Gate shared ST Bus stand. Even though we had reserved my ticket I missed the bus because there was no Co-ordinator or KSRTC Counter in Swar Gate ST Bus stand in Pune to guide me to my respective bus. There is no body to guide which Bus goes where. In fact KSRTC bus driver & conductors are misleading while boarding the exact bus. Need a Co-ordinator & Enquiry counter at this Bus stand. Further we also doubt whether the NEKRTC & NWKRTC bus reports to the Depot manager because we could not find any Depot manager. We request you to depute a group of resposible & sincere Co-ordinators & an Enquiry counter at Swar Gate ST Bus stand.

          On 05 March 2012, I tried to book three tickets from chennai to bangalore through the online portal of KSRTC. The transaction got cancelled but money was deducted from my account. I followed the procedures for online refund as mentioned in KSRtc website. But I am yet to hear anything from their end.

            Rash driving

            Dear KSRTC Bangalore,

            Today I have noticed that the bus driver is very rash in driving and does not have patience that might lead to accident.
            I was traveling on Vajra bus (KA 01 F 3985) and at 9:48 AM the the driver of the bus had cut off the motorcycle driver sharply during a left turn. The person driving the motorcycle had to apply sudden brakes and fell off the motorcycle and is badly hurt. The driver is very rude...

              Dear Sir, I was book a ticket from KGF to Chennai,On.18.03.12 by 10.30PM bus, when I was alloted seat No.25 Window seat, but when I was seen in the bus the seat No.25 is not a window seat, 24 is window seat.
              when I ask the conductor he says that when you are booked is another bus, this is diffrent bus.
              how it possible.
              I request you to please check the bus, what we are booking in the online, the same to be alloted.

                Subject : KSRTC - Volvo Bus (AIRAVAT) Conductor Cheated KSRTC Transport.

                Travel Details: On 11/03/2012, AIRAVAT Volvo Bus from Bangalore to Tirupathi, which reached K.R Puram around 6.00 AM.

                On the above mentioned date and time, we got into AIRAVAT Bus and asked two tickets to CHITTOOR. (I clearly mentioned TWO Tickets to Chittoor) but purposefully the Conductor made one ticket to Tirupathi (Ticket No. 072163, 11/03/12, Rs 390/-) and another ticket to Chittor (Ticket No. 072164, 11/03/12, 06:05:14, Rs 290/-) and he said that by mistake he printed Tirupathi ticket and to keep with me, he collected Rs 580/- for two tickets to Chittoor.
                When arriving Chittoor, he asked the ticket back saying that he has given upto Tirupathi and when I ask to re-issue the ticket to Chittoor for Rs 290/-, he didn't give me and behaving roughly.

                I am suspecting that he cancelled Rs 390/- Ticket and and taken Rs 290/- to his pocket.
                I request KSRTC Transport to cross verify that the Conductor has cancelled only for 100/- or the whole amount. If he has cancelled the ticket and taken Rs 290/- means he cheated KSRTC Govt, even getting salary and working for it. So please take appropriate action.

                  Sub: Harassment towards KSRTC Bus passengers

                  This is to bring your kind attention towards the inhuman treatment by KSRTC staff, especially Bus Conductors, to the commuters.
                  I am a regular commuter in Alumchuvadu – Kakkanad route. Today I travelled in KSRTC Ordinary Bus (Regn. No: KL 15 – 8446, Time 8:45 AM). The ticket charge is 5 Rupees. As I didn’t have change I gave 10 Rupees. The Conductor refused to give the balance, saying I board the same bus next day to compensate for that. But he refused to write it down on my ticket. On the destination, I requested to halt for some time to get the change. But he tried to signal the Bus. When I asked him to stop, the argument went so bad that it is below my dignity to quote the words that he used! Finally I have to give him change after borrowing from local shop, then only he gave the balance. That guy had the necessary change; but won’t usually give – insulting the passengers.
                  We are common people. We have to depend on KSRTC Buses for our daily travel needs. But if the staff behaves in this way, how can commoners travel? This being a democracy why people like us are helpless in the hands of such people? I humbly request you to take stern action against such people so that the morale of common passengers is not affected. Along with attaching the scanned copy of my Ticket.

                    Rude & Hopeless conductors in Bus no. 119(Volve), & in village buses in ladies seat all the gents will be their


                    The conductors of local buses are very rude & Hopeless talks, they behaves very irrespectively bus no 119 (Volve). I will try to keep the change whenever possible. But each time how can anyone expect from anybody to keep the exact change. For Rs.16/- ticket, if we 20 rs given, some conductors will start scolding very badly in Kannada, they speak in singular for ladies..Some bus conductors even having the change, don't give, instead they write the change amount on backside of the ticket. When asked, they will not give the complete change written and they will again say no change. They will tell to get down from the bus. Its worse with some conductors, they will write the change amount on backside of ticket, when the stop comes they will go and stand in the back of the bus or in middle of crowd so that change cannot be asked. Some bus conductors do not wear the badges to note the names and complain and behave in indecent way with girls.
                    In village side buses (Gadige) all the ladies seats will be occupied by Gents. If ladies ask them to live the seat, its ladies seat means they will tell rules does not applies in village bus, Even though back seats will be empty. Why Gents want to sit in front seats . Even conductors will also support them. If one or Two seats is ok, But all the front seat will be occupied by only gents. moreover ladies cannot stand in between the crowd. please take necessary action. Hopefully will be solved very soon.

                      There are also bed bugs in KSRTC buses...please ensure corrective measures....
                      The Rajahamsa which is subject to leave from Koramangala to Mangalore at 8 pm was not present in Koramangala Depot and when checked with Depot manager it was told that in spite of him informing the bus driver.conductor did not listen to him and asked me to go to majestic and after reaching majestic when checked with conductor he complaints on Koramangala Depot manager.Such situation occurring is horrible and there is no one who wants to take responsibility.

                      Please instruct the personnel accordingly and ensure such things does not happen in future.

                        The conductors in KSRTC daily route buses cheat a lot . They give tickets of one passenger to another passenger and pocket the money.Some passengers dont even realise what they are doing and think they've issued a new ticket.But this is not the case.These conductors happily pocket the money.It's happened umpteen number of times in my case but I make sure they give me new tickets.
                        Today my friend and I were travelling in the ac volvo bus from Sankranti circle to Infosys.The ticket charge is 10Rs /-.The conductor of the bus gave me somebody else's ticket from MBS to Infosys (20 Rs/-charge) and when I asked him about he says very sincerely that it's the same.But we got new tickets issued by him.

                          Dear ToWhomSoEver,

                          I had to travel from bellary to bangalore, so i booked three seats in Rajahamsa bus. The reason for this complaint is that BUS is not up to the standards
                          of the Word RajaHamsa ( Kings Chariot). The bus was filled with rotten smell of an animal and the seats where not up to the standards. We had a misery of whole 7 hrs of journey from bellary to bangalore. As an responsible citizen we request that we need the service of whats being promised to BUS fare. Please consider this.

                              Sir,
                              I am a daily pass holder travelling from belgaum to dharwad. (Working). Sir suddernly the rates of the pass was hiked as per the toll fee which a single bus cross from the toll will be paid i.e. if dharwad than the hiked if Rs.220/- hubli Rs.350/- in actual pass rates. See if we calculate daily also it should not exceed Rs. 2/- per pass holder but such hike and second thing granting permission in promotional buses like non stop bus from belgaum to hubli and belgaum to dharawd as they are charging less than what the normal bus will charge i.e if for hubli normal bus rate is Rs.87/- but promotional bus is Rs.80/- and the promotional bus is allowing a ksrtc staff to travel free and the bus will be vacant only but not allowing the daily travelers so i request the concern minister and M.D. to look in the matter and do the needful.

                              sir im the resident of hubli... i feel very sad wen i see the condtion of buses plyin in H-D city.. although all the city buses have automatic doors dey r nt used by the drivers... as per the rules dey have to be used... plz do take concern of this n try for the passenger safety...
                              Today 24th Oct 2014, from Belgaum to Ulavi (Near Dandeli) bus facility was not available even after waiting for 2 hours. After having question about the bus operation to controller he started shouting like "we have many work to do" just because the bus was coming from Inchalkaranji and it was not belgaum depo bus. We (17 adults group including small kids and female elderly) were waited for 2 hours and after contacting Chikkodi depo controller, Depo manager said they put the cancelled board in Chikkodi depo and if we want we can go there to read that. Even in Belgaum depo first the respective controller was not available (later understood that he was off duty on mutual understanding) when main controller contacted two great personality on Mr. Chikmath and another Mr. Patil they started behaving like bulls without any respects. When we asked to contact their higer authority they said we cannot help and use alternate option as if they are providing free service.
                              With lots of bad feelings in our mind we (all 17) people have to return to our villages as practically there is facility that time to reach using government bus facility.
                              Hope someone will look this issue and avoid such incidents in future.
                              If anyone has any questions or doubts please contact me.
                              Very rude way to handle operational issues and provide service to public.

                                As per web site the child ticket criteria says less than or equal to 6 years are allowed to travel freely . Also one more criteria of height i.e 117 cm.

                                But as per the conductor and the Officer at chennai airawat counter the applicable age is 5 years and above the ticket is available. They were arguing very badly and loudly as if i am a "cheater". The Officer in charge is referring tamil nadu age limit and made me "" and "illeterate". They are very storingly and firmly says above 5 years are chargeable.

                                I have agreed finally and paid Rs. 447 for half ticket but the conductor is not allotted seat. While issuing the ticket he was telling me to occupy seat no. 45 but when i went that seat one person occupied without carrying any ticket. On enquiry he had paid money to the conductor and got this seat. On subsequent quarrel the conductor asked to me occupy his seat in the cabin which i don't want but travelled with my own seat carrying my child.

                                Without allotting a seat how can he charge the ticket?
                                They not even know what is the child ticket criteria and gave me mental agony and torture?

                                  I had booked tickets from sagar to bangalore in karnataka sarige express who's starting point is karwar, in the ticket the pickup point timings was given as 19.45hrs, but when enquired about the bus to the TC in the sagar bus stand, he told that the regular timing of the bus at sagar is 21.15hrs. when conacted to the ksrtc helpline, the lady did not repond properly, and I was asked to contact a different number. How can this happen? how can KSRTC put wrong timings in the internet, making the passengers to wait for more than one and half hour.

                                      the pitiable state of affairs in every bus station, be it the taluk or the district level needs immediate attention the honourable minister Mr Ashok who claims he is doing his best is simply not aware of the ground reality
                                      like how the airports are managed by a separate authority called national airport authority of india the transport department has to segregate the functioning of running of buses and maintaining of bus stations into separate activities and start a separate entity called the karnaataka bus station corporation to look after the bus stations alone the ksrtc which runs and maintains the buses should pay user fees to this company for using the bus stations.the bus stations which are the gateways to those places should become international class bus stations adopting new technologies with emphasis on green clean concepts are u game for it Mr Ashok sir , can we atleast expect a reply from ur goodselves sir
