Cheating Mysore-Calicut Volvo Bus passengers:

I booked for Karnataka Road Transport Corporation's Trip AIRAVAT CLUB CLASS (VOLVO AC) MULTI AXLE SSL (No. of Services: 1)
From Mysore to Calicut for 11March 2013 (Trip code 1001BNGKZK). The web site says The bus leaves Mysore at 13:45 and journey hours
3hrs 16mins. ( expected to arrive around 17:01. Accordingly I booked for a Tatkal 3AC tain to trivandrum scheduled to leave at 18:45.

When the bus started the conductor stated that it usually reaches Calicut only at 19:30 (Journey hours 05hrs 45mins instead of the advertised 3hrs16mins), as the bus is long and needs multiple trials to take hairpin curves. He sarcastically stated that the timetable in the website is meant for the future Express Highway and Minibuses.

The bus reached at 19:32 and I missed the train, money and had much difficulties to reach trivandrum. Now, who will compensate for my losses.
And let the cheating be stopped now itself.

    I booked online ticket for my father from Bangalore to Coimbatore (2hours prior to departure time) on 15/02/2013 through KSRTC portal. I added all my father's details correctly. Once my father boarded bus he recognized that name of the traveller is not changed. I forgot to edit passenger's name from my name to my father's name.

    I requested the conductor and told him that i made a mistake in booking the ticket. All the details related to my father were correct except the name. But the conductor charged full amount again from my father without issuing the ticket. Being a senior citizen too the conductor couldnt consider it and took the whole amount(bribe) and dint issue the ticket.

      Its been 15 days long after giving you the intimation to refund the amount due to failed transaction. The amount is not yet credited to my account. As you said last week i have called the number you mentioned below, she told to wait 3 to 4 days. Today from morning i am giving a cal to that number but there is no, answer from you side.
      Please refund the amount as soon as possible or i will complain to Indian customer complain forum.

      KSRTC — Poor Online Ticket booking

      KSRTC have the preference of booking the ticket online. But whenever i try to book the ticket it says that SERVER TOO BUSY & PLEASE TRY AFTER SOMETIME. This is the msg i get always & its really frustration. Dont know why did they create website. Its really poor maintenance from the KSRTC dept.

      Hope KSRTC will improve soon.

      KSRTC — Refund amount

      KSRTC have website for online booking(KSRTC Awatar).
      Sometimes Money will be debited without Ticket confirmation due to network failure or else.
      They will refund the amount within 7working days.
      But KSRTC not providing refund amount properly.
      Eevn they are responding properly through mail or not answering phone call.
      Take necessary actions.

      I was not refund the Rs.936 . On booking of KSRTC Volvo MutiAxle on 14.05.2012 8:00pm. from Hyderabad to banglore Seat No.18 . The Ticket was not Booked But Ammount has been deducted from my account, But till now i was not get the money back.

      hi, i booked 2 tickets in ksrtc online booking premium service, but i didnt get a ticket ,rs.1026 deducted from my syndicate bank accont. so kindly check the status & do the needful .thank you sir/madam.

        sir, yesterday night 31/01/2013 around (11:50pm) i got in to the bus from (Unkal cross) to get back to my house to (Bhairidevarkopa darga) stop i paid 10rs for conductor for ticket he gave me the ticket but didnt return the change i saw the ticket amount was 10rs i asked...

        Sir ,

        I booked a Ticket to travel to chennai from Bangalore. The ticket indicates clearly that I have booked my ticket in KSRTC, but the KSRTC bus which was suppose to depart at 19:51 was no where to be seen in the vicinity. When the time passed. The person at enquiry counter had told me that the bus is NWKRTC, which I should have boarded and its a yellow colored bus. How a passenger would know a NWKRTC and KSRTC are the same. The bus was also coming from Belgaum, the starting point is not bangalore as mentioned in the Ticket. I lost 779/= Rs.

            Hi,

            My name is Pooja. I am regularly ttravelling in bangalore taking KSRTC bus route number 276 from ITI bus stop (New Bell Road) to Sadashivanagar police station. Today I got into the bus number KA-01 F 4441 at around 8.30 am. Since my stop was just the one after the next stop so intentionally I was the last passenger to get into the bus. So when I got into the bus then driver without any warning closed the door and my bag got stuck into the door, where it very well could be my arm. When I pointed this out to conductor then he instead shouted at me saying you have eyes so you should look at this and not even a single time he agreed that at this moment it was his responsibility to warn the passengers before closing the door, well it was well crowded bus and you can't close the door on someone, or he should atleast look carefully before doing so. I think government should take an action to guideline the drivers and conductors of these KSRTC buses to behave properly with the passengers. I have regularly seeing such incident of misconduct everyday in these buses and no wonder why all o[censored]s would prefer private vehicles instead o[censored]sing public services and adding more to pollution and traffic. I also urge other people to be together on such instance and let these rude drivers and conductors know that we care of each other and their this misbehavior would not be acceptable.

              The service from Shanthinagar stand to Palghat ( volvo multi axle semi -sleeper) starting at 22.02 , with number KA 01 F 9355 , reached the destination 3 hours late. The driver was very inexperienced and hardly saw driving in top gears. Even the local buses were overtaking !!! It seems like driver is not used ti with such heavy vehicles. ksrtc.in site displayed the arrival time as 5.15 hrs and it reached 3 hrs late. please be concious while allocating drivers for long journeys.

              Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation — CREW MEMBERS ARE PURPOSELY MAKING DELAY IN ARRIVAL DRIVERS

              It is very pathetic to put this complaint. Since last two month. i have been a regular traveller of Bangalore to Munnar through the Friday trip. and as per the schedule time, the bus has to reach 1000am at Munnar. But really the friday service will reach at 1200 pm. Purposly the drivers are making the delay as they are stopping the vehicle for dinner, drinks, coffee, and breakfast more that 06 times in the particular friday trips and if we are complaining they will say Friday heavy traffic is at bangalore that's the delay. But really it was not the reason, they will reach at Coimbatore at 0630 Hrs every friday and will have break fast at Pollachi. The restaurant at the Pollachi opens at 0730 only and they want to make tiffin at there only and thats they are making delay upto there. Please check all the Rajahamsa which is starting from Bangalore after this bus will reach exactly 5am at Coimbatore. One hour they are spending the time at Pollachi for Tiffin and again they will stop the bus at Marayur at 1030hrs for Tea for 20minutes. the crew members names are Mr. Arasu and Mr. Doraiswami..so requested to change these crew members as they are delaying the service. Even while coming back also the it will reach late at bangalore.

              Please change these crew mebers.

                We were guided by the KSRTC helpdesk at Tirupati bus stand that our bus will arrive at platform 22. We waited at platform 22 from 23:15pm .The bus did not turned up.When i called to ksrtc, they just keep saying that the bus will come.Even though another airavat bus came at 23:30, when we told them and showed the ticket to the conductor. They just said it's 23:48 bus and it's on the way. We checked all other buses also.
                We still waited from late night 23:15.to next morning 02:00 am but there was no airavat bus.
                We enquired many times at the helpdesk, but nobody knows anything.
                Finally we called up call centre& driver told bus already left and you can complain to whom u want, there will be no action.
                KSRTC helpdesk is only misguiding and we had to spend money again on tickets.
                If dept. is so incompetent, u should inform us when we purchase tickets and not by cheating customers like us.

                Please refund the entire amount ASAP

                  It is a complaint again the shop In shanthinagar bus stop, the second shop in platform 1 . (shop has no name but running by mangalapuram poeple, shop next to hpmc juice stall)
                  after drinking a juice and buying a biscuit they charged me 80 rupees.
                  The biscuit charge is just 22 as mrp. But they charge 30 rupees.
                  Shop keeper refused to give me change offering filthy chocolates.
                  It is really a day time roberry happening in there.
                  Really need some authorized person to stop this day time theft.

                  Daily 1000nds of people travel to home town from this location.

                  I request to take actions so that we will have justice.

                    The conductor of the bus KL-15 7346 on the date 18-12-12 , 8.30 pm trip from kazhakkutam to VikasBavan misbehaved to me in front of all the people in the bus. He was shouting at me by telling that I have waved my hands to stop the bus. Some times the buses wont stop in the bus stop if we don't wave hands. Even though i did a harmless thing he insulted me. Please take action towards him for insulting woman in public.

                      Dear Sir,
                      Myself N Maruti Rao, resident of Belgaum, booked e- ticket for Belgaum to Bellary (6th Dec. 2012, seat number 18, Raj Hansa) and back journey from Bellary to Belgaum (7th Dec. 2012, seat number 19, Raj Hansa) and made payment through SBI internet banking option given by KSRTC. The transaction was successfully completed I have received reference number from SBI about confirmation of payment (IGE5280869). But, the tickets were not available for download and I have not received any confirmation from KSRTC about booking. I went to Belgaum Bus stand around 9.30pm and enquired about my reservation in the reservation counter. The in-charge of reservation section told that tickets were not booked in my name. So, I had purchased tickets of Raj Hansa for Bellary by paying Rs.400/-. Sir, the bus condition was so horrible that there were no headlights for the bus and bus was under repairing condition. In mid night around 3.00pm commuters had asked driver to stop the bus and make alternative arrangement and they tried to contact the Belgaum control office but in vain. However, around 4.00pm they were able to contact and the control office in-charge had apologized for inconvenience and promised to make alternative arrangement in Koppal but no arrangement were made in Koppal nor bus was repaired. The bus reached Hospet at 7.00am (3 hours late) and conductor had requested us to catch red bus ( we have paid for Raj Hansa) which is going from Hospet to Bellary and we reached Bellary at 930pm. I have not expected such poor quality of service from KSRTC which has bagged best transport award please look into the matter and do the needful.                         Very bad behaviour from conductors in BMTC bus. The bus I travelled was from whitefield to hopfarm. I boarded the bus at around 10.30 am. Todaythe conductor refused to pay me balance and used very uncultured language while asking for balance. At last, after begging for balance, he gave the balance, and he asked me to "GET OUT" in very harsh and impolite language. After I got out he manhandled me and strangled my neck trying to pull me back to the bus, for saying that I will report the incident. He asked me to speak in kannada and when I said I do not know kannada, he said, then "why am I coming to bangalore".
                        This is not an isolated incident.
                        If KSRTC cannot employ well mannered bus conductors and drivers, its a shame on the company.. pitiable. And for sure, this incident will be taken up very seriously and is a bad name for KSRTC.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          Am Ramesh residing in Porur, chennai.

                          Would like to bring to your notice that myself and my father in law travelled in KSRTC
                          From pamba to chenganur and the bus stopped in waha for resting. We got down to get
                          Refreshed and came to understand that within few minutes the bust left us and went with
                          Our baggages. I had to get 2 other buses to reach Chenganoor and had to call and go
                          Through lot of people to get my luggage. I spoke to Mr. Babu who was working with KSRTC
                          For 15 yrs as he mentioned and he said to get the luggage from info centre. From waha to
                          Chenganoor, we had to travel in 2 Buses in standing after paying for our travel. Hope u will not find it fair and take perfect action on the staff who were irresponsible.

                          FYI: The staff in info center of Chenganur said the there were total of 6 passengers left by this staffs in this travel.

BUT TICKET WAS NOT BOOKED ( TRANSACTION FAILED MESSAGE WAS RECIVED ) SO KINDLY TAKE NECESSARY ACTION TO REFUND THE AMOUNT TO ABOVE MENTIONED ACCOUNT NUMBER.


                            AFTER REPEATED REMINDERS ALSO NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN SO FAR, YOU TOLD MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED AFTER 7 DAYS BUT NOW 18 DAYS ARE OVER PLEASE REFUND AT YOUR EARLIEST .

                                I have tried to book the ticket on 20/10/2012 through online through http://www.ksrtc.in but transaction failed so i m unable to book the ticket and money was not refunded yet. I have requested the department to take necessary actions to make it refund my money with the following details given below as soon as possible.I have repeatedly replied them for this purpose but still then I haven't got my money back to my account.So kindly take necessary steps and actions for which i shall be ever grateful to u.

                                Karnataka SRTC — Money not refunded

                                KSRTC hasn't refunded the ticket cancellation money for two cases as i booked both the tickets online. They say that it'll be refunded back to our account nut nothing has happened so far. Details are given below:

                                Still waiting for the refund.

                                  I am writing this mail on behalf of all passnegers who have suffered a lot during the journey.

                                  As per above mentioned details, we (few names of passengers mentioned below) had booked for tickets online to travel from Bijapur to Bangalore. Suhas Bus departed @ 8PM from Bijapur exactly with reg. No. KA28 F1871 (Suhas). this bus got broke down 30KMS before Chitradurga at 3AM in the night.

                                  I had booked 5 tickets from coimbatore to mysore for rs.1055 for date: 25th sept , i subsequently cancelled the ticket on the next day i booked 29th aug. the website said that i would recieve my amount (rs.901)after deduction within 7 days . till this date(23th sept) i have not received any amount. Repeated calling and e complaints often lead to NO ANSWER...... and after i went to the local ksrtc booking center the guy gave me a number and asked me to contact where a person spoke and assured me that my amount will be refunded but that was not to be ..... lots of calls to the number result in "NO answer " or "Line Busy"...
                                  KSRTC should stop their online booking site rather than feeding on public money due to poor cordination and outdated servers.......
