My Policy no. is[protected], my 1st premium was paid by my agent Rs. 2712/- but my second premium was Rs. 2400/- & as per my knowledge Premium Amount will not change so please give me guideline about it

    I hold a policy viz. Jeevan Shree (No.[protected]. This policy I had taken at Hyderabad (Himayat Nagar Branch) and during last November (2008) I relocated to Bangalore. Since then, I have been sending reminders/letters to my agent Mr. D. Venugopala Rao, 01835660, but he has not bothered to get it done.

    I have been paying my premiums regularly. I have also sent many letters to LIC office @ Himayat Nagar, but to no avail.

    I request the concerned authority to get the same done immediately & also take necessary action against the agent.

      I would sadly inform you that my husband expired on 30.08.08 (saturday). Mrs.Ananti Mohan wife of late Mr.Mohan Raj Nadar and nominee.

      I have submitted original policy paper & other documents to LIC of India, Dharavi Branch, Mumbai – 17. After 10 month we have received letter from your office that cancellation of claim.

      Kindly look into this and reason for claim cancellation as we have submitted all relevant documents with supporting of medical report.

        My father on my behalf had applied for duplicate copy of policy no.[protected] on 30/07/09 and deposited the required fees of some Rs. 86.00 at Branch No 115 at N-72 Bombay Lift Bldg., Cannaught Place, New Delhi. He was told that we will be getting policy within 1 week's time. He again contacted the concerned person Mr. Chetan Sagar at this branch who replied that the Typist is not available and it may take another week's time. Keeping in mind a long weekend, my father again contacted this person today, i.e., 20/08/2009. This person attended the call and put the call on hold by saying he is looking for policy status. He put the call on hold for 20 minutes and did not return and somebody hung up the phone. Again my father tried the number and spoke to this person and again he had put the call on hold and did not provide with any information about the policy.

        This kind of irresponsible behavior from a company's personnel is really shocking. I would request that matter be brought in attention of the concerned person and do the needful and provide me with the duplicate copy of the policy as soon as possible.

          My policy no.[protected], i m not receiving any letter from lic to pay my premium, i have to keep track of my due date, if godforbid i forgot to pay the premium, then additional charge will be levid on me.

          Please send the due premium letter without fail to enable me to pay the premium on time.

              I have taken housing loan for Rs 24.75 Lacs for my flat in Regency Estate, Dombivali. My loan got disbursed in the month of May 09. As per disbursement schedule given to me, interest / BPI of Rs 8306 was to be debited on 10th June 09, but it has not been debited from my account till date. Also emi of Rs 21879/- was to start debiting from my account from 10th July 09 which has not happened.

              I have been following from last two months with Mr. Sunil Yadav ([protected]) starting from around 13th June 09. I told Mr. Sunil Yadav to please deposit the blank security cheque with proper amount filled in very sorry to say, the cheque is never presented in the bank till date. Each and every time I have spoken to him he told me that the security cheque which we had already submitted at the time of loan disbursal will be deposited in the bank within 1 day / two days.

              I had also visited Jeevan Prakash (Fort, P M Road) branch of yours on 23rd July 09 regarding the same. There I met Mr. Anand Bihari Lal (Area Manager – [protected]) and Mr. Sunil Yadav also personally. I explained to Mr. Lal the entire episode. He had noted down my query on a simple piece of paper assuring me that he will personally look into the matter. Even Mr. Sunil Yadav called somebody in front of me and asked the person over the phone to deposit my cheque next day but till today that also has not happened. I can give you documented proof that the cheque is not presented in the bank.

              I happened to speak with Ms Sneha on 8th August 09 from recovery dept and she promptly updated on the status saying Mr. Sunil Yadav has misplaced my cheque. I asked about giving it in writing to me on which she told me that somebody from Mr. Sunil Yadav’s team will call me and I should speak to the person calling.

              Later, Mr. Sunil Yadav called me on Saturday 8th August 09 (for the first time after such a long follow-up) just telling me to give a cheque of two emi amounts only to Mr. Ravi Bhagwani ([protected] / [protected]) of Regency Estate. I enquired him again about the security cheque I had given on which he told me that it must have been deposited in the bank during these two months. When I cross checked with him giving him references of several conversations I had with him, my visit to P M Road branch, he suddenly said he must not have received the security cheque and ECS form. Then I again enquired him about the loan disbursement procedure and brought to his notice that unless the security cheque and ECS form is not given the loan will not get disbursed and since my loan has disbursed, it is a proof that I had given the documents required. I also informed him that Mr. Ravi Bhagwani had done all the required formalities and also collected all the required documents as a part of disbursement procedure.

              He was totally confused and was also not sure about the exact status of my cheque and kept on telling me that he is not sure what has happened. When I asked him straight if he has misplaced the cheque, he was neither ready to accept that the cheque was misplaced from him nor was ready to give me in writing but in turn was blaming me that I must not have given it only. I was very furious but kept my cool. He told me that he will not give in writing since he has not received the cheque and ECS form itself, I then again asked him if Mr. Ravi Bhagwani has not given him all the documents then Mr. Ravi should also be brought in the entire picture to which he seemed to protect Mr. Ravi by saying why to bring him in picture, he had not done anything and stuff like that. But he never accepted that the cheque was misplaced and was also not ready to give it in writing to me. He in the end again told me that he will not give anything in writing.

              During this period of two months, Mr. Sunil Yadav was consistently arrogant, rude in his tone of voice, never remembered the case history I had to always remind him about the past conversations. He on many occasions even told me that “LOAN DENEWALEKO PADI NAHI HAI TOH AAP KYO CHINTA KARATE HO?”

              they are not readyto give me anything in writing but have started threatening me about sending recovery people at my place, harrassing me etc etc

                I have compliants to lic office, bikaner for removal of lic agent. Because my agent yogesh kumar acharya had not turned to me after making of lic. I have contacted him in regard of lic work of change of nomination but he did not response. Now I wanted that lic should take necessary action against such agents who have work only for once for commission only.

                You must complaint but ensure that you have not bargained with him and have not taken any part of his commission as i know he have to give services if he is getting proper commission with out any discount

                Myself Raju kumar, At:-Kalyanpur More Nohta, Fatuha. I have already discussed I sending the mail that you required please take the action against this.


                I have complaint against your agent named Neeraj Kumar, Father name is Krishna Prasasd, Village: Bakipur Gorakh PO: - Fatuha. Code:-021015 · This person is doing fraud against me since 1 Year.· I have taken a policy from Neeraj kumar before one year. That time I have Paid 15000 to neeraj kumar by cheque & remaing amount is already paid in cash. They tell me that I paid all amount in a our single cheque, because lic did not allow partially cheque and cash for a single payment.· After one month they tell that I have continue your policy I means you are insured by lic.· They give me Recipt of payment and a details of our policy, my Policy No:[protected].· They tell me you have paid every year your premium amount.· This time I am going to paid the premium and found that his cheque is disowned and I am not insured this period. · Document aginst this: Bank Statement Receipt of LIC Status Report of LIC Calls recording Between Raju kumar and Neeraj kumar All Document are presented by me when you required.

                Most generally, it is the common problem that after taking Policy, most of the agent doesn't care their customers. So, LIC / Other Insurance Co. should have provision for changing the agent

                    Dear Sir,

                    While contacting with customer service (Tel. No.1251) of LIC, they had informed me to get the Policy Status of my LIC Policy, I had to personally visit to branch office of LIC of the each spesific policies.

                    So in the current situation and in the globalisation, it is very time consuming to go personally to the spesific LIC's branch office, only for the policy status. and also like a gient government company like LIC is also not responding properly to small investor like me.

                    And the agent is also not co-opearating to collect the policy status from the LIC's branch.

                    So please advice me what I have to do.

                        I took a loan from LIC Housing Finance from Asaf Ali Road, Laxmi Insurance Building, New Delhi Branch. I don't know what kind rate of interest they are charging.

                        I have relocated to bangalore When I contacted their branch over phone to reach them and know the status of account, rate of interest & Interest Certificate, every time I call them it is ringing or pick up the phone with no response so that you will furstrate, you will not call them again or somebody will give some other numbers to contact which is either swithed off or ringing. These are few numbers they have given me to 23232830, 32641060, 23232625.

                        Still I have been struggling till date to get it,

                        If you luckily get chance to talk to them, they behave so rudely like you have taken loan from Employees not from the LIC Housing Company.



                        Please be aware.
                        If any financial institution does not co-operate with you in repayment of home loan, it is better to send a formal letter authorized by a lawyer and then not to pay EMI till the problem gets settled.
                        Further the customers are being cheated given lower rate of interest with subsequently increase of interest by atleast 150 bps after 3 installments are paid. This is the policy of Company.

                        So please beware before going to take loan.

                            pls tell me groth status of my lic market plus policy no.[protected], table no. 181.rupees 13000.pls give me reply as soon as possible.
                            I have two plicies of Market Plus.One on my name and another on my wife's name and paid one time premium. So far I have not received any statement of the account so far sincre 2006. Whom to cantact for the present staus of the policy.

                              My Home Loan Tenure was agreed as 15 years at ROI -11.25 % . Later when the ROI has reduced to 10.25 % as on date, the EMI figure today still remains the same,

                              LIC HFL has automatically reduced the tenure to 163 EMI's from 180 EMI's as agreed while loan sanaction, without any permission or application from my side.

                              Like - recently they issued a wrongly typed A/C no # for LOAN disbursal amount of odd 7 lakh rupees, the cheque returned & when I submitted them the cheque for correction, THEY asked for an application from my side for correction, INSPITE of no error from my side ???? HOW the HELL can they change thh tenure without me applying or permitting for the same ??? This is nothing but just violation of conusmer rights???

                              I need to know, how can they alter the tenure or no. of EMI's without my permission & not pass on the benefit of reduced EMI to the undersigned??

                              I have noified them in writing, BUT still no response???

                              To add to the injury, when floating ROI was agreed, in NOV 2008, JUST on DEC 2008 14th they decided to launch reduced ROI to ?NEW CUSTOMERS @ 9.25%, WHat the hell is the meaning of floating ROI >>> The customers like us who just go the LOAN 15 days ago were all of sudden OLD customers???

                              Exactly.

                              Only new customers which are going to take loan are lured by providing lower rate of interest;
                              all are being cheated once three installments are been paid and they are treated as old customers and increase the rates upto 150 bps i.e increase of 1.5%.
                              LIC Housing Finance sucks big time.You go to their website and look for a contact number to resolve your query..you get 20 numbers..not one of them is useful.

                              I had sent 6 EMI cheques dated 5th of each month.
                              They returned it to me three months after recieving it saying the date on the cheques needs to be 1st of every month.And put charges, interest and recovery charges because my pdc's were sitting in someone's drawer at LICHF for three months, till they suddenly woke up as to the date.

                              LICHF is one company, I seriously hope I never have to do business with ever again.
                              Interaction with LICHF justs saps your energy.

                                we have approx 10 policies from lic of india bhoopal ganj branch bhilwara rajasthan but since long time we are not getting premium due information, we severally informed to devlopment officer but till date no action taken
                                due to this we are unable to deposit due premium in time,
                                very bad position of this office in this matter,

                                  i have to recieve a cheaque of rupees 15, 000 in year 2005 from branch office 116 on behalf lic money back policy but i have not recieved it yet(2009). i have complained about it at the required branch but i have not recieved any response regarding my complaint. i am moving out to lic office from last 2 years and they just enroll me with the word that i will recieve the money...

                                  I had applied for a housing loan worth 53.50 lacs, however the process at LIC home finance is very cumbersome . Moreover the terms and conditions are not clearly explained, as the staff and employees are themselves confused right upto to the position of Area and Regional Manager. I was assured by the
                                  agent of a processing charge of not more than 5515 Rs, however when i receive a sanction letter on the 4th August the processing charge states that i need to pay an additional balance of 21, 750(which was never communicated). The concessional interest rate of 8.50%p.a is suddenly change in 20days-1months time from the time of speaking to the agents and receipt of the sanction letter on 4th Augustto 9.50%. And then on speaking back to the agents/employees it is changed to 8.50% for 3mths.Ridiculous! speaking to the Regional Manager is difficult as he is never available on phone. On visiting him personally and speaking to him we understand that the scheme for 8.50% was for 1 month only and withdrawn. He gave us an option of 8.9% for 3 years fixed, but apparently when speaking to the Area Manager that option is no more available.Confusion and chaos all the way. Delay as no one is entertained - Govt attitude towards work.It seems that the company is doing us a favour.On speaking bakc to the Regional Manager-he states that he was mistakened.As far as the processing charge is concerned he says that usually one has to pay 0.5%on loan amt, but it can be reduced to 0.3%, depending on the signatures of the Coporate office Manager.and recommendation of the Regonal manager.( This was never conveyed earlier), So from earlier being promised to pay 5, 515/ i am sudenly
                                  being asked to pay minimum of Rs 15000.(0.3%) depending on the approval for reduction from the corporate office. After all the drama i again receive a letter from LIC to make a payment of 21750/- and sign there. When enquired with the employee they maintain it is the usual procedure and that till they get it reduced i need to sign as a formality. Bottomline line is that i am still waiting for the loan to get disbursed . Pre-payment charges of 2% which was supposed to be waived is still not done even inspite of communicating of the waiver.

                                  regard of the day,

                                  My home loan is almost 5 years old and amount is Rs890000 for 20years and my current emi is
                                  Rs.8838 and my home loan a/c number is F/6888245/11
                                  when interest rates were increased you also increased the rates but when interest rats were gone down
                                  you did`nt reduse and I am paying you more than 10% rate of interest on housing loan which is not applicable in any of bank in india even present rate of INTEREST of LIC is also 8.75% than why you r over charging me almost one thousand extra every month I am feelin that Lic has cheated me.

                                  pls advised me where should i present the issue that lic is overcharging me
